Best damn lamb I ever had in my life. A real shock and joy experiencing Kurdish cuisine.

Unexpectedly amazing place. This place falls into my category of eateries which think they are a café but really they are a restaurant. Where can you go and get lunch for £8? Enjoyed a nice dish made of chopped onions and peppers which was served with a lovely salad and a large piece of Middle Eastern bread. I didn’t eat bread because I’m on a diet but this would be a very substantial meal and quite a reasonable price. Everything is tidy clean and I got an unexpected bowl of soup to start. Notably, the Kurdish tea is very pleasant. Can’t wait to bring my wife here.

Good food in general. If you want to eat a middle eastern style food, this might be the right place for you. Some of the dishes are not as tasty as others, but overall, the food is good. The staff don't speak much English, but they are very friendly and happy to help. There is no parking apart from the street parking that has some hourly restrictions.

Best fresh foods and tases so delicious and waiters really friendly I recommend it just trying ones definitely you go back.

We were looking for some wear to eat for lunch , and came to this place Suleymaniye Restaurant , we got a table , the staff gave us the menu , and ordered our meal , we got the lentil soup that was just fantasic , next up humus \ 1/2 lamb tikka portion well that to was fantasic , we was full after that , staff was good

The owner whose arms had several cut marks was speaking Turkish to me when I was leaving and I can't speak a word. Apart from that everything else was fine. I was going to a similar restaurant in North London, same issue. They don't believe I'm not Turkish

DELICIOUS 🤌🤌🤌 If you fancy a juicy soft meat with vine leaves, you must try it here! It's not a resturant, it's your home's kitchen: proper cooking, generous amount and delicious taste. Last but not least, cost effective 😉

To be honest, it is a beautiful restaurant and their reception is nicer and the food is very delicious, especially the kebab, and then you drink Soleimani tea and everything is fine.

Glad I tried this place. I finally had the okra soup which is a middle Eastern soup I have been meaning to try. The staff there are really friendly and explain the food so you know what is best to order.

Mindblowimg home style food. Lamb dishes are great, lentil soup amazing.

Me and my husband went to visit Whitgift centre and decided on having lunch here and we were very happy with this choice! The food we ordered was lamb shank with a bed of vermecelli rice and chicken shish with naans and salads and also came with about 3 different sides! We were stuffed with their generous portion sizes and the service was so nice! The people serving us were all really friendly warm and really sweet! When you get a chance or if passing by i say definately go in!

They have a good food, and it's pretty consistent each time you go. Nice services and great place to stay with friends.

Food was burnt and too much salty. Sheff dropped a piece of chicken shish and put it back to give it to a customer. We did not finish our food bcoz everthing was burnt on high flame and uncooked from inside.

Amazing value. Good vegan option. Soup, salad, rice, bread, pickles, hummous, beans all for five pounds. Delicious. Friendly staff. Go!

I will rate this place 0* as the lamb shank wasnt cooked it was pink and white. Then he deeped fat fried it untill hard and dripping with oil. Kebab was not cooked at all. Soup was made a day before potatoes was horrible. Everything in front of me was horrible. Never again. Food posioning waiting to happen here at this place.

Needed a quick bite, and in and got a fredhly made kebab in bread with fresh crispy salad within a few minutes. Very tasty food, but best of all- it all tastes so fresh!

A colleague of mine took me this small and cozy Kurdish restaurant and told me not to underestimate the taste and the quality of the food by the look of it. He was right. I have had Greek cuisine, Lebanese cuisine, Persian cuisine, Iraqi cuisine and so on in various countries. But none of them comes close to this restaurant. This is the best middle Eastern restaurant outside of middle East without doubt. Their cuisines have an authentic taste to them. Their kabobs are juicy and very tasty. I love their thin breads with tasty curry. Try their lentil soup and Mashtaw which is made of butter milk, lemon juice and salt. The food is not expensive for the quality of the food. Must visit for any foodie!!

Really friendly service, also has an authentic vibe to the place, loved the tea, the lentil soup, and the hummus is beautiful!

Popped in for lunch. There is a seated restaurant area behind the cooking area. Menu is interesting and worth investigating, a couple of things were not available which was a shame as they would have been interesting. Good service, we were given a lovely chicken and lentil soup automatically. Had small shish and a minced lamb kebab each, came with good selection of salads, houmous, and two huge flatbreads. Tasted lovely. Drinks - black tea and a cheap yogurt drink with lemon and salt was very refreshing. Very good value for money.
