We stopped here for some sausage and chips before the packington firework display. They were extremely tasty and very reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place!

Been coming here for years and it's still the best F&C for miles around. Cooked freshly. Incredible value for money too with generous portion sizes. Lovely friendly owner. Now taking payment by cards, but you can support the business by paying cash. No bank commission.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Good portions for a good amount of money. For a family of four, it cost us £28 for 3 fish and chips and a pie and chips with a sausage. Recommended 👌

Tried their homemade chicken and veg curry tonight. Had it over some chips like you would a normal curry sauce and it was really tasty!

A little disappointed. Friends rave about it so we tried it out. Chips not up to our usual expected chippy level. Popcorn Chicken was dry & uninteresting. Peas were not mushy enough! We have loads of chippys to sample in our area. Won’t be revisiting in the near future!

The best fish and chips for miles around - period. People go on about the Batter of Bosworth but the quality of the fish at Michaels Plaice is consistently brilliant. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Lovely little chippy, I always have the mini fish and chips which is more than enough for me. Always apologizes because he has to cook the fish freshly. Great quality, highly recommended.

Worked at Measham occasionally on electrical jobs and always looked forward to our dinner here, the fish bites are amazing and always cooked fresh. Owner is a lovely fella 👍

You can tell from the most recent reviews that Louie is back, and has taken over the shop. Now that he is, the food is fresher, the shop is cleaner and the service is 100x better, than compared to the bloke that ‘ran’ it before.

This is truly a great Chippy. Fish is always just right and never over cooked. Chips are crisp to the bite and soft inside - and never too greasy.

Could do with a spruce up, but the food is good.

Fish not always fresh. Given cod sometimes instead of haddock. Chips rarely cooked properly. Very rare it's open on a saturday when the opening times state. Must go home early. Such a shame for what used to be a cracking local chippy.

Used to be great here when the old gent and his wife were there, now it's awful, dirty and really bad attitude given from staff to customers will never go back there even if it was half price!

Poor, very poor! This place used to be so good but since new owners it's gone right down hill, will not be going here any more after two disappointing visits.

Never have I been so disgusted, we have used this chip shop for over 12 years when geographically we have two closer but the quality and staff have always been great. Recently it changed hands and the service wobbled but we stuck with it however tonight we have just fetched meals for three and poured chewing gum out of the pot of baked beans onto our plate. Now they scooped the gum into the pot. This is not the bit that infuriates me it was the fact I called them immediately to be told "no this cannot happen" no apology or nothing. Will never use them again. Very disgusted.
