From the moment we walked in to the time we left servers and what I think is the owner was in constant conversation with us and everyone amazing atmosphere and well the food speaks for itself it’s out of this world by far the best burger I’ve ever eaten and I’ve had a lot food made fresh to order and not only looks amazing but tastes it to have definitely just found our new spot to dine they are open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm definitely need to book as it’s gone viral on TikTok and is very busy

This place is fantastic! The food is incredible, best burgers in Norwich, with a great set of sides! Good value especially with the feast trays. I'd been looking to come here for a while as I love this kind of food, and I'd also see the good reviews. In short, it was AMAZING and I defo recommend it. Great service from Gonza. You're a credit to Bun X, as are the chefs, as the food was so tasty. I booked a table in advance for a Sunday - it's a good job I did as it was busy. My friend and I had the sharing platter. There was low music in the background, and it had a lovely atmosphere. I'd definitely come back! Well done to everyone.

Amazing! Really tasty and big burgers (had a vegan one - most options can be made veggie, partner had a meaty one), chips and dips. Authentic, quirky decor and great soundtrack. Service was quick too. Will definitely come back!!!

I went to Bun X for the first time and i would highly recommend this place to anyone. We were served by Luke, he was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Their food is AMAZING especially their "micky B's" Burger.

Loved this place, its a cosy and welcoming bar/restaurant which is dog friendly, serves very tasty food and a wide selection of drinks. 100% recommended

This is different and delightfully so. The downside is the absence of real ale but the upside is the burger menu for which we shall return in the near future.

Amazing burgers, refreshing to see somewhere taking vegetarian options seriously, instead of the basic stuff you usually find elsewhere. Great meal deal and the Bun X mayo was sooo good too!

Huge burgers but still amazing quality, went for valentines and their specials for the occasion looked great. We ended up getting the Triple S (the one pictured alone), the almost hunters and barbeque nuggets, our food came super quickly, they were so good and the service was super friendly! Really recommend this place!!

Top quality burger, by far one of the best I've ever had, The selection was good and priced well with the feast option. Chips were good too which was a bonus, Chicken tenders and wings werent dry or soggy but perfectly breaded with sauce on top

Bun X rocked our day! When we arrived, our table was already set with a high chair for the little one, and the cozy vibe instantly won us over. The staff were super friendly, and every bite was pure magic. The Kiev chicken burger with Kiev fries? Absolutely next level. Highly recommended!

This is heaven for burger lovers like myself, smash burgers tend to end up a bit dry but these were still juicy and the flavours were amazing. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

What a gem, happened to park outside so nipped in for early dinner on the way back to the car. Burgers were amazing, seared on the outside, soft, juicy and cooked perfectly on the inside. We went for the £30 sharing plate of 2 burgers, fries, side and dips. Very well priced and just lovely food. Staff were friendly and it seems very well run. Definitely visiting again.

My husband and I walk past the Micawbers often but we had never been in until today. We went there for the burger and it didn't disappoint. It is an old, beautiful building, with incredible historic features. The decoration is fun! Lots of little details around, such as figurines and stickers. The burger and the chips were delicious! I ordered a BDC and my husband a XX and they were both really nice. My husband had two of their alcohol free beers and he enjoyed both of them. The staff was super friendly and the background music was eclectic and fun. It is a great place and we will definitely be back!

Simply top draw 👌 friendly team, cosy, welcoming atmosphere, some good IPAs and burgers that are just spectacular 🤤 honestly can't fault the place.. the only problem is knowing when to stop eating.. p.s. also dog friendly

Excellent burgers and good value for money. The only tiny draw back was the buffalo sauce which was sweet but not spice which is more of a nit pick than a complaint. We will return!

My guilty pleasure is burgers. I normally get my fix in London. Everywhere seems to be having a go at burgers these days. Few hit the mark. Bun Exchange serve without a doubt, in my humble opinion, the best burgers in Norwich. The team are amazing and I am never disappointed by the quality and service. Wow what a find! We tried Bun X for the first time today after a recommendation from a friend, and we will definitely be back! The most incredible burgers, a great selection to choose from on the menu and the staff were great too. Portion sizes were decent. I had the hot and popping chicken burger and my partner had the Carvery Burger, both were unreal! We had jalapeño poppers and chicken tenders as sides - we think the chicken tenders were the best we’ve ever had 🌟 10/10 thank you!

I had an absolute blast this evening boozing down at micawbers. All the staff were blooming with kindness which made my experience a 10/10. You’ll be lucky if you get served by one of the waiters Jake. He’s a real catch This wont be last visit that’s for sure

I usually don’t even go out if my way to write reviews but I really felt I had to day this. Literally the best burger we’ve ever ate. 4 adults 2 btw were vegan. Even the vegans said it was the best they had. The service was outstanding, gorgeous atmosphere. A must visit ♥️🍔

The best burger joint in Norwich. Had the festive special and it was incredible. Dined here many times and the standard of service, food and setting is unbelievably good. Unbelievable consistency of being amazing every time I have been.

My girlfriend and I decided to walk into the city as we booked a table online because we had heard it gets full. My girlfriend ordered the XX Burger which looked stunning when it came out. I had the BDC which comes with crispy streaky bacon and delicious cheddar. I can barely put it into words just how delicious this burger was. I would go as far as saying its the best burger I gave ever eaten (I'm 44 by the way so have eaten a fair few in my time). Actually, it is right up there with some of the best food I have ever eaten!! The flavour combination is just heavenly, from the burger, bacon, cheddar and perfectly sweet pickles (not too sweet just very flavourful). We also shared some great skin on salted fries, that were also superb. Well done Bun X, keep up the good work!? Little Mickeys is next on the list.

I've eaten at Bun X three times now and never been disappointed. Always tastes amazing and the portion sizes and tray deals mean great value for money. The ambience is nice in Micawber's and the staff are always helpful!

Superb place to eat, quality food and decent selection of drinks. Jeff and his team were excellent and provided me with 2 booth tables as we were celebrating our sons 16th birthday. Will definitely be going back again!!

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful, awesome food! Chips were fluffy and crispy, wings were perfectly cooked and the burgers were delicious, definitely what I was looking for, definitely will be going back at some point!

My partner and I hadn't booked as we stumbled upon this place, but they were able to fit us in and it was packed after the first half an hour of opening. The staff were all lovely and the food was amazing. Really good value for money. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely little place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Greeted by the kind of person you instantly feel at home with, no trouble getting us seated and recommending burgers to try. We had one of the specials, a burger combo with loaded fries, sides and a fried chicken burger with burrata, pistachio pesto, candied pistachios and crispy onions, ohhh sweet Jesus it was heavenly! Definitely going back to work my way through the menu. I'd recommend booking as it was filling up while we were there, very popular!

Food was really good, but couldn’t fully enjoy as we were sat right next to the kitchen, who kept complaining that they had to cook 30 minutes after they should’ve been even though we booked an available slot.

Bun exchange is my favourite burger place in Norwich. Absolutely amazing burgers , sides, drinks and service. Constantly great dining in and on uber eats . But be warned this place is addictive 🍔🍔🤤🤤🤤☘️

Went here tonight. Been to zaks, fupburger etc. Bun X food is great, so much great portions. Atmosphere is good too. Fupburger is far too noisy. Needs a little work on service as there was a bit of confusion in the order but it was very quickly dealt with. We will definitely be returning.

First time at Bun X on 06/09/24, 20:00 booking. I’d heard good things from a couple of friends and decided to book this for my birthday dinner destination. The direction we came from was quite tight for our vehicle, but this is due to the history of the location, the parking was on street outside, pay and display, but free at the time we came. It was a nice warm evening and it was lovely to see people sat outside enjoying a drink and having a laugh with a server. Getting seated was nice and easy, Holly was attentive as soon as we walked in, led us to our table right in front of the open kitchen, on the way to the table I was congratulated by multiple staff on being “the birthday boy”. The place had a really nice atmosphere and I would imagine it to be very cosy in the winter, being a tall and larger person I normally struggle in older buildings, but had no problems getting to or sitting at my table. We were left to explore the menu after having a drinks order taken and specials explained, the wait was the right amount of time and our order was taken. While waiting there are plenty of things to look at around the room, including the chef and his team in the open kitchen. There was a small bit of mess on the floor at the service window where chef had gone a bit off the plates with some salad and fries and a couple of cobwebs in the corner of the room near the booth, but the use and changing of gloves and cleaning equipment by staff was a reassuring sign that the important hygiene was well under control. A surprise to my meal was a candle in my burger and the staff and other guests singing happy birthday as our meal was served, this wasn’t requested, but a nice personal touch. The food was very tasty and made with obvious fresh ingredients, the portion sizes were to my standard and I finished with a full and satisfied appetite. We had the lasagna burger, donut & chicken burger, roast pork poutine fries and bubble and squeak cheese melt balls. We were checked on only once during the meal, which I was happy with, but encouraged to only ask if we wanted more dips or gravy. We reviewed the desert board at the end, but decided we were done, maybe next time. The bill came and a brilliant sight of only £49 for all that food and drink! With the option to pay cash or card, payment was easy. The bill doesn’t have a mandatory tip, so a tip was left for our great evening. We hope to come back

I cannot argue the burger I had was delicious. Service a little slow, but staff were very pleasant. Food not cheap but definitely worth the money.

Consistently incredible burgers, fried chicken and sides. Easily the best burger I've had in the UK, in my top 5 worldwide. Second favourite slaw I've ever eaten (use of fresh herbs inspired!). Some of the tastiest fried chicken I've ever had including countless in the US. Chefs know exactly what they're doing. Throw in great fries, a literal bucket of different hot sauces, always lovely staff and impeccable music and you have yourself an absolute find X

Really tasty burger joint tucked away In a little Norwich pub. The burgers are large, tasty and fairly priced. The staff are very helpful and the place has that nice pub feel with wooden beams and floors and some unique decorations in the form of old toys.

I LOVE this place. This place is everything you could want from a (mainly) burger restaurant. Not only are the burgers already unreal, the specials are to die for, see photo for Father’s Day roast special, A ROAST IN A BURGER? Following that, the sides are delish and the portions are huge so make sure you don’t have too far to walk. And to top it off, the staff are lovely. Such a friendly, helpful bunch of people. A must visit if you're in Norwich!! Dog friendly too! Excellent food, massive portions, delicious flavours and ALWAYS excellent service 😄 We had the best evening meal here - our server was passionate and went above and beyond with requests. We had the OG Mega Feast plus an extra burger between 3 and it was the perfect amount (plus a dessert 😜). Hands down recommend the cheese balls side, loaded fries and ALL of the beef burgers 😄 The 'build your own' cheesecake was the one of the best cheesecakes I've ever eaten out. Thank you ☺️

Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere! There are little Sylvanian families and dinosaur trinkets everywhere, which make the place feel cosy. The food is really tasty, and they have a vegan option for almost everything!

I was very surprised, the food was very tasty, had various flavors, etc. The chef obviously prepares the food with passion and the effect is surprising. Nice service, pub with good atmosphere. Simply put, it's one of the best burgers places I've ever eaten! The food is absolutely filthy 😋 Staff were so welcoming and friendly, full of recommendations on food and beer, which was also excellent. Tbh, it was really tricky to pick off the menu, as it all looked so delicious, but I ended up going for the karage chicken special with prawns and kimchi mayo, which was ridiculously good. Husband went for a vegetarian version of the camembert burger, which was messy but delicious. Love how everything can be made vegetarian or vegan, rather than being a disappointing afterthought at the bottom of the menu. We'll be back, as need to try everything else on the menu.
