Mi Chaii in Bradford

Was passing by and needed a quick bite, decent tea and sandwich.

Cosy inside, which is why we love it. Tea and hot chocolate is nice, not many other options, all desserts are huge portions eg 4 donuts so can't buy for one person

Great service, great food, nice restaurant. Also a great take away service. If there is an error which these things happen during busy periods, The manager takes ownership to make things right. Happy customer 😁

Very disappointing. Ordered two desi breakfasts and we were met with chana that was drowning in oil and chickpeas very few in number at the bottom. We were asked if we wanted toppings and cheese on the omelette but were given a plain, bland omelette which was cut in half and split between the two of us. When feedback was given to the young lady serving us, she nodded her head and walked off.

I am notocal but whenever i am in this area, I make sure to go there as it is MY CUP OF TEA ☕️ 😉. As good as Chaiiwala as its my favourite tea chain. Really nice tea and staff with nice sitting ambience.

Ordered online for delivery today and there was a hair in the food. This has happened twice now in the past 6 months please take care of hygiene it’s very important.

My order arrived more than TWO hours from when I ordered. And it was only sorted out once I called the restaurant directly. 2 hours is completely unacceptable and completely ruined the experience.

Disgusting experience! Don’t waste your time and money. They serve frozen Shana parathas and tasteless channey (chick peas) and expect you to be satisfied. They put chicken on my vegetarian masala fries which is unacceptable as I am vegan. They took it back and changed it and still charged me for it without question. When asking for tap water, they rudely declined. What kind of establishment doesn’t give tap water in 2024, it’s a basic human right? I’ll never be visiting again.

I didn’t receive my order, another Persons order was delivered to me. The just way driver didn’t double check what he was giving and didn’t ask for the order number!

I don’t even drink chai but Mii Chaii Leeds road is a nice atmosphere to catchup with friends.

This review is in no way a complaint. It is actually a suggestion or an honest advice from a very regular costumer who would come in everyday just for the owner to improve the cafe, as it is an amazing cafe, except the problems i would list. This is just to inform you that i have not received a very good service at the cafe. I would go in everyday in the evening and take the same order, caramel karak chai and a cake. Most of the time, the chai would be cold. Or else it would be extremely hot. On telling the staff that the chai is cold, they would put it in the microwave which would make it worse. Moreover, the orders have not been considered. I would call and place the order atleast 20 minutes before going, so that i don’t let the taxi waiting. But they would start preparing the order when i would go in the cafe and inform them. Moreover, the music can sometimes get a bit too loud. Too loud to not even be able to hear the other person. These are some of the problems i faced. I would still give the cafe a few more chances and see if the service improves , if not, i will stop. To whoever reads this, This is a suggestion more then a complaint. Hope it helps you make an amazing cafe even better. :)

Food is hit and miss. Visited the Leeds Road branch the samosa chart was inedible. Half warm half cold with raw chick peas. Overall expensive and inconsistent. Omelette wrap sometimes good and sometimes bad. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food could be much better.

Amazing atmosphere, beautiful tea!

I went around lunch time, it was quiet but nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and food came in no time after ordering it. Loaded chips and chicken sandwich for me and my child. Both enjoyed it👍🏻

The food was amazing fresh and beautiful as expected.also was very surprised with the samosa portion was expecting 2 pieces as you would get normally but you get 3 and they were fresh and tasty too 👍🏽 will defo be coming back to try other things 💯

While the food and atmosphere here were great, we couldn’t overlook the fact that the staff member behind the till - a young South Asian lady - was constantly on her mobile phone. This was frustrating, as it meant we struggled to get her attention on three occasions: when we first wanted to place our order (despite standing directly in front of her), when we had questions about the menu, and when we needed extra cutlery. Each time, she appeared too preoccupied with her mobile, which is both unprofessional and discourteous.

It was a deceptively large place, with lots of seating and plenty of seats. It was nicely busy and the tea was fine. The only gripe was that the Kashmiri Chai used peanuts! I always associate it with almonds and pistachios. There were a few flakes of pistachios, but the peanuts were new for me.

I paid for desi paranthas and they served small frozen parathas. I asked for pink tea but they gave regular tea full of sugar.

Lovely atmosphere and a spacious area to have a cup of tea. I had mint tea which was just hot water. If I’m paying a premium for mint tea there should be reasonable quality and not just boiling water with the weakest mint tea bag ! Visited 21st September 2024

We went to this place for the all day lunch. Absolutely amazing food and came in good time. I would highly recommend the new puris they do - not yet on the menu as a new item. Brilliant. The karak chaii, what can I say? The best I have ever had. What else? The service is exceptional. The manager Sohail served us and nothing was too much trouble for us. The atmosphere and vibe in the place was also spot on. Thank you for a lovely time.

Ordered chicken biriyani and butter chicken combo, both tasted good. The biriyani portion wasn't sufficient though. Went to eat in and the food was ready in few minutes. Ambience was decent too.

This is my first time visiting mi chaii and I was satisfied with everything. The food was nice and fresh, and the service was great. I was served by imaan who was friendly and she ensured I felt welcome and gave me plenty of different options when I asked for recommendations. Would recommend to others and would definitely come again!

Had the karachi bun kebab, it was really nice but would benefit from adding a sweet/spicy chutney, like a Mango or tamarind chutney. Pink tea was really good.

Amazing place to wind down after a hard day or week. Saira and Zeena are absolutely fantastic. Very professional and welcoming. The tea along with rest of the menu is delicious. Highly recommended! Best spot for a tea in Bradford.

I came in today for the first time and ordered a cheesecake and it was delicious and well made and presented and the girl called amina gavw great customer service she was very nice and I think she was new but was doing good at her job.

Went for a quick Chaii and dessert. Shop was very quiet on a Saturday night. Ordered the brownie with ice cream and it was a worst brownie I have ever tried. Was like a stale cake. Sent it back and changed it for the Churros. There were passable at the best. Bit disappointed with the food but the Chaii was ok. It wasn’t pipping hot unlike some of the other branches.

I visited mii chai and was greeted by Imaan. She was so friendly and had excellent customer service ensuring I left happy with the service. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending others to visit too!

Food was great, as was service - one of the waitresses Imaan is a really friendly and polite girl. Was able to give good recommendations and made sure to check up on us as well to ensure we were enjoying our meal.

Absolutely amazing! The service is incredible and the staff are so down to earth and lovely. My favourite staff are Zeena and Saira due to their impeccable manners and professionalism throughout the work. They are very on their toes and over all a lovely place to dine, 100% recommend.

Second visit and still a massive disappointment. Samosas we're burnt and the potato in the pakoras were uncooked. The food was bland and tasteless. I would not recommend this place.. Somewhere for posers!

Tea was served cold which was then made fresh and had to wait longer for it. Not really acceptable to give cold tea. The server had a little attitude not your friendly usual expectations. Not sure why it's gone downhill Mi Chaii used to be really good.

Ordered desi breakfast for 7.95. Paratha was rubbery and so hard. Looks like it was recooked. Omelette was nothing special. The worst omelette I have ever tried. You have to pay 30p extra for each basic ingredient (onion, tomato, chilli and cheese). Overall breakfast meal was very poor. If you are going because of the atmosphere, try something else. Dhal and chai were good. Couldn't enjoy it as our main food was so bad.

Best Tea shop in Bradford my daughter loves their tea the staff are so nice the manager is such an awesome guy. The full English breakfast is delicious.
