Once, reliable for great food. Sadly, no more. One of the food preparers had his hands down the front of his trousers as we opened the door. The 'manager' (and I use that term very loosely) didnt have the first clue about front of house management and how to greet customers. The shop has ended up with the wrong people. Shame

First of all, I will start by saying that I have used Mezza lots of times in the past, both by popping in and through online orders. 9 times out of 10 the food is usually OK. I went in last night (Sunday 16th August 2020) to collect a telephone order. First of all, the person serving refused to accept card payments stating they take cash only. I know this to be untrue as like I said before I have ordered on numerous occasions and only ever paid by card. Secondly, the Mezza Special kebab was the worst I have ever had from there. The meat was burned on the outside, uncooked on the inside and riddled in grease.. it smelled off. Even the garlic bread tasted bad. I’m unsure if this is a one off or if the person behind the counter was on the fiddle, only taking cash, But this has really put me off this place, and I will definitely not be giving them any future custom. £19 down the drain. Food straight in the bin. I’d expect far better for this price. Stay away.

ordered a pizza at 8.10 and it come at 10pm even though its a Saturday its not normally this bad 😡 and I called yo ask for discount the lady was rude to me

I not sure if I've used these before or not, but I certainly won't ever again. I've been sent an unsolicited txt message from them. And to opt out of further txt messages I have to txt a message back to them at a charge to myself. The down right dirty gits.

Een prima pizza die bezorgd is naar ons hotel. Kip, champignons en kaas er over, erg smakelijk en nog goed warm

I would rate this takeaway a 5 star quality food and they take the time to make is excellent, the drivers also i would 5 star quality. Also polite ask how are you and excellent customer service, every driver so far comes with a smile and hot food. Keep up the excellent work

not happy third time i have ordered off this site and food as arrived late i dont expect it within 10 mins etc but i do expect it within time scale when ordered usually i am qouted an hour but last three occasions as gone beyond this then when i tried to chat on last oreder got passed to not one but three people and then never got an answer on delivery abismal customer service on not only the take a way but just eat as they was just eat reprentatives

2hours from order to getting food is shocking service!!! the only good thing was the food was hot and really nice When it finally arrived

The food was excellent as usual. What I have an issue with is the 50p ‘service charge’ when paying by card which I thought was no longer allowed. If I’m wrong then what is the service charge for?

Quite a wait but we aren't really that picky or the moaning types as long as the food is good, enjoyed the food from mezza a lot and would like to order again.

Amazing food, pizza is by far the best from any takeaway we have ever ordered from! delivery driver was so polite and smiling which is unusual to see! We will 100% be ordering again!

chips were cold and floppy, chicken was bland, salad was soggy and took just under 2 hours to be delivered

I wish I could say I enjoyed my meal but when you place an order at 9:20pm and it is 11pm and your food has still not arrived I think this is unacceptable. No phone call to let me know it would be say late even though they added an extra 20 minutes on to delivery when I placed the order to make it 10:40pm. Our order was not a large order at all so clearly it has been put to the back of their orders and forgotten. Terrible delivery service .. maybe I will get my meal before midnight!

Pizza very tasty although a little soggy in middle. Chicken wings tasted old not really edible.

I understand that the weather is bad, but it has taken 3+ hours for our meal to arrive. the food was mediocre and some items was missing from the order.

I ordered my food and it never arrived, I even got in touch with the restaurant and they said it was on its way. An hour later I got in touch with Just Eat and they got in touch with the restaurant as well and they ASSURED me it was on it's way. It never came. It had recently snowed so the roads were hectic, but if they knew they weren't going to deliver it they should at least call me and let me know and figure out some form of a refund. Long story short, don't order from this place as they steal your money.

We ordered at 8:50pm and did not receive until 10:50, I understand it may be a busy time but 2 hours was too long. The food was very nice and still very warm. Portion sizes were great too.

both pizzas were quite black in colour and tasted awful. Nobody ate them. and some chips were delivered too which were soft warm and again black. I just had to take photos of them. will not order again.

I ordered at 8 and it was as due as 910. at 935 I rang the restaurant and they told me it would be 15 minutes. it finally arrived also 10.25 burnt and cold, an hour and 10 minutes later than expected and 2 hours 25 minutes later than ordered. absolutely disgusting

The hotwings were perfect but the chicken berger was so overcooked i couldnt chew through it and the chips were overcooked too delevery was good

so impressed! we actually asked for it delivered but when we saw the delivery time I phoned them up and said it would be too late, so I just stood up to go to my car when a delivery man pulls up and brings it for us with two extra portions of chips (for free!) the food quality was amazing like always too!! thank you Mezza!!

food was cold. popcorn chicken was really burnt and crispy with barely any chicken in-couldn’t eat it. chicken wrap was undercooked with pink chicken. food was cold. will not order again!

I asked for bolegnese pizza with onion and peppers. the pizza came with all of the above but with a lot of jalepeanos which I didn’t ask for. they were a separate selection on the toppings......they did not fall under the peppers. I do not like jaleapenos so couldn’t eat the pizza.

Got exactly what I ordered and on time; saved me a trip out in the cold and means my cold won't get worse. Thanks!

Mozzarella sticks were basically just batter with a thin layer of cheese. Pop corn chicken was decent although not very warm, pizza okay not very warm, wrap completely fine. Also no drink and garlic bread left me wondering what I had done wrong? not for the first time either, as stated when spending over £15 those items come as extras free of charge, this has not happened once. To say this establishment was nominated for an award on how good it is, I can't imagine it went well.

Nice pizzas mrs doesn't normally like pizza but this one she did deffo ordering again great taste rich.

initially disaster struck as we were told an hour and a half for the food. I called and the servers were most helpful. food arrived 15 mins early (BONUS!) pizza was good. chips were a massive portion. the garlic bread was dry but as it was free who am I to complain ?! very nice. will be ordering again. 👍🏼👍🏼

Wasn’t this time but we just orderd another order and came to £15.45 so we expected a free chips or garlic bread, rang up and they said it came to £14.95 for the sake of 5p, lost a loyal customer order all time and will not be ordering again. And the woman on phone was rude and disgusting saying that’s not point, state on your website it doesn’t include delievery
