Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful fresh food reasonable price.

I used to regularly holiday in Turkey and was really looking forward to an Iskender kebab. Unfortunately what I was given was a very pale imitation of the real thing. There were small chunks of pitta bread made soggy at the bottom of a dish of sauce, and at times it was difficult to differentiate between that and the meat content. This was my first visit and I certainly won't be trying a second.

Food is actually quite tasty, however, not sure I wouldn't still be hungry if portions were twice the size...and I don't have a large appetite..so disappointed

I booked in Meze again a week ago for my wifes early birthday meal for Sunday 17/3/24 @1pm and from arriving to leaving as always it was perfect and the young waitress who looked after us was first class and her etiquette was also 1st class,The food OMG was flavoursome cooked perfectly and tasted exquisite I had the seafood main and the best cooked as always Thank you all for such a fantastic experience et again love from Russ and Gina Shepherd x

I used to live the hummus l. We ordered it yesterday 16.03.24 and it was watery, tasteless, disappointing. Will not order again and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.

The atmosphere is amazing 👏 staff are very friendly. Food is good to some extent, but quantity is less than expected, we were still hungry after finishing 😅

I ordered via Uber eats, and little did I know. Portions are generous, food is tasty, it all arrived nice and hot and safely packaged. Loved it! I had kleftico, karides, spinach and baklava.

Really tasty food and of a different style to most restaurants in the area. I would recommend. Just slightly expensive for what we ordered but overall was a nice treat.

9 of us came for a friends birthday and the service was good. The moussaka was the best i've ever had. Loads of space, it wasn't busy and decor is traditional.

First time visiting this gem, food was fantastic, staff were very helpful and pleasant. Overall a great experience, will definitely be visiting again.

The lamb is cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the lamb. I wasn't the biggest fan of the steak, but everything else on the menu is amazing. The cold platter for starters is a must have the bread with the 4 dips. Wow! I have been here twice and it has not disappointed!

Spacious restaurant with free parking on the back side . But serving size was small and hence felt pricy for the portion size. Halal. Meat moussaka - Lamb with potato and veges not done right at all though ! Used stale vegetables in it. But Levrek - sea bass fish was good but bland ( had a nice spicy sauce served with it so that elevated the taste)

Absolute love this place, was there on Saturday and then again on Monday. Absolutely love the food and the portions are so filling. All the food is so nice and fresh. The staff are really friendly too and the service is fab. Highly recommend this to everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as me

Friendly, welcoming staff. The waiter help with food choices. Menu catered for all requirements, good choice. Tasty well presented plates. Ample portions. Comfortable seating, nicely spaced and good ambience. First time of visit as was on holiday.

The food was excellent. We shared that karides a king Prawn disg in a lovely creamy tomato sauce served with bread. For the mains I had the Lamb Cutlets which were superb and the wife a King Prawn pasta dish which was really tasty. The service was good too. The only downside was the place was not very warm. I had to sit with my jacket on until my food arrived and then put it back on after we had eaten. Every time the front door opened you could feel the cold air blowing in. They have a heater above the door and had this been on then I reckon it would have been more comfortable. But I must say I've been in a few pubs and restaurants recently that have not had any heating on! We will definitely return but perhaps when the temperature comes up a bit.

We had a lovely evening chatting in their spacious dining room over some tasty Turkish savoury food. The dessert menu was a bit lacking - I had hoped in vain for a dairy-free dessert item, a friend had hoped for an authentic Turkish dessert such as muhallebi but found only standard bought-in cake and ice cream-style sweet food. We opted for a round of Turkish coffee, which was served in dainty little cups and was sweet and flavoursome.

Excellent food and great service. Food was brought quickly. The meat was cooked fantastically. Everything tasted great.

Staff were so accommodating, food was served hot and fresh and even with extra orders the meze platter all came out together and was even better than my last visit! So worth the money and a trip out

Very good service and food, creamy hummus just wished for a little more seasoning, main was very tasty iskender kebab and cheesecake dessert was very good. Husband's kebab meat was tender and good smoky flavor. Would recommend eating here.

We had a really good night, had the sharing Meze for 3 people was so good and the portions where huge ! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Expensive , and reheated food. Easily you could see the heat and tell it's microwaved. Disappointing, especially on mother's day. Only exception was the steak, that was good.

We was a married couple looking forward to a lovely meal before a show tonight, unfortunately, we ordered Kleftico and Steak Stronganoff. The vegetables were cold and not fresh on the Klefico and my stroganoff came in a bowl, with one tiny portion of rice, the steak was fatty and we literally had the one course, paid the bill at £37 for two main course and left. We will not be returning, we travelled 45 minutes and was extremely dissapointed, the only nice thing about the restaurant was the lovely lady that works there we spoke to as we was leaving. The restaurant is a good size, but no atmosphere, it needs something adding.

Excellent hot & cold Meze selection. Good size menu, offering popular Turkish dishes. Atmosphere was great so was the Turkish wine "Yakut".

Amazing cuisine! Visited here after a personal recommendation from my son's friends. Mouthwatering food, lovely ambience, excellent service. I chose the chicken pasta and I was impressed with the presentation and flavour. Likewise, the steak and lamb were also fantastic choices and were cooked to perfection. Very popular venue and now I know why! Will certainly be back.

After been recommended by friends, we were looking forward to visiting Meze Bar & Grill. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. While the starters of humus & calamari rings were very good, the main courses were a different however. Having chosen the Adana Kebab, what we were greeted with was a small mound of rice, a mixture of lettuce leaves and two Adana kebabs. With no sauces or condiments, the whole meal was very dry, made worse by the fact that the kebab was over cooked. Definitely not worth the £13.50 asking price. My wife did enjoy her half chicken however but it wasn’t a half chicken as it had two legs (must have been the bottom half) If you are looking for Meze style cooking, Meze Bar isn’t the place to go.

Food is very nice but why for the last 3times we have visited at various times of the day has there been no coffee available I like to have a coffee after a meal but always the excuse of the machine has been turned off

The restaurant has a great vibe. Authentic Turkish meals and drinks. Free off-road parking. Everything was super fresh and super tasty. Staff members were extremely helpful and nice. Nice beers, wines and coffee. Simple but alright decor, all clean including bathrooms. Hand sanitisers available everywhere.

First time we went here was an impromtu meal out for my wife and i. Even tho there were restrictions ( due to covid ) the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were plenty of things we wanted to try from starters, mains and to my delight even baklava as a dessert. We were tharimpressed we have been back twice more and even took my wifes son. We have tried different things on the menu each time and nothing disapointed

We were away in Hull for the week and fancied something different and what a find this was! Beautiful food, quick service and the waiter was very polite and attentive. My husband had the lamb shank and said it was so nice he felt like it entered his blood stream! I had the Lamb meatballs which were tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back if we are in Hull again and gutted we only found this on the last night, otherwise we would have eaten here every night!

I had falafel starter which was beautiful with side salad then dived in with the flat break for 2 and was amazing couldn't finish it all but taking home. Food and service was great can't complain 👌🖤
