Merritts Cafe in Birmingham

Freshly made sandwiches/baguettes with a good amount of filling in each. Very tasty. Delivered really quickly. Thoroughly enjoyed again. Definitely will return and highly recommend

Nice food but a hash brown was missing in one of the sandwhiches I ordered, please pay more attention to my order next time.

After ordering takeaways on just eat, things were great, then the café started missing items from my order, regular breakfast no hash brown, I included a note and the next order on the Saturday, had extra hash browns, to which I thanked the restaurant, the next day ,on the Sunday to my shock the hash brown on the regular, was missing again, I told the café I was disappointed as the order was wrong again. They informed me to check my orders, as they had sent extra, They need to check their feedback, and start answering the phone ! We have now changed restaurants. All this over a missing hash brown .The Merritt's Café, have just lost about £40 a week. Which equates to about 2 grand a year.

I don't believe, that you missed off the hash brown again on the regular breakfast, it's starting to b a bit hit and miss if you get the full order. Otherwise food was nice!

waited an hour and 20 minutes for what was unfortunately a really disappointing breakfast. could barely manage a few mouthfuls if i’m honest, the sausages taste like celery for some reason and everything else just has an off taste. the tea on the other hand is lovely!

The food is poor quality freezing cold and the driver is very rude arrogant towards women untill a male showed his face. Will never use again

I've ordered the Chicken Tikka Panini, they arrived on time. The temperature was good but not piping hot other than that they were delicious and I wouldn't have any hesitation in ordering from this establishment again.

I usually really love the sandwiches from here but the skin on the sausages was not nice. Very tough and didn't feel nice in the mouth.

eggs hard, beans, more like 1 spoon not worth 10,50 more like 5 quid

ordered quite late but still got order accepted and delivered very fast. amazing sarnies, bacon and eggs absolutely perfect. we had them as a payday treat and wow what a treat!!! bread was fresh, eggs were runny, bacon tasty. nothing to find fault with. definitely our go-to cafe from now on and definitely recommend

I was very underwelmed with the breakfast. the eggs and bacon were over done, the sausage and the flash grilled black pudding were perfect. I appreciate that a sachet of red and brown sauce was provided, but be cautious of the brown sauce, it is not exactly brown sauce, more of a mix between BBQ and brown sauce so be sure to try it before insulting your bacon. it did come in a tin tray and not styrofoam which I really do appreciate, the coffee was like Gregg's and tasted like the 'brown source"

food was tasty- only comment I'd say is the chips were so soggy & sweaty the way they're packed need improving

Food was very cold, ordered a breakfast and expected the extras to be packaged separately as I would have just brought a bigger breakfast if I wanted what I received. Called the restaurant only to be told that next time i should put it in the notes. As if there will be a next time. Very disappointed in the service received. Even the coffee was barely warm.

Specifically asked for NO syrup yet the tiny pancakes were soaked so inedible, the greasy literally pouring from the toasties (heated bread) made the entire thing turn to mush. Also inedible. The jacket potato was on rations with minimal amount of uncooked bullet beans and cold hardened melted cheese clearly cooked and waiting the whole 40 minutes it was late. Barely edible. In total a complete waste of time and the most revolting thing ever served up.After last time them sending the wrong order

This is the best takeaway for breakfast. My coffee was well wrapped so it didn't spill and the tomatoes in my breakfast were in a little plastic pot to stop my breakfast being drowned. Delicious bacon, sausage, mushrooms and eggs. Thank you and see you soon.

Lovely local café. The owners/staff are very friendly and welcoming. The variety on the menu is good. The prices are reasonable. Service is always fast and food is prepared with care and well-packaged. Hygiene standards are high. Food is always hot and tasty. I will really miss this cafe now that I have moved out of this area.

Very nice as usual, wrong drink sent out though unfortunately. Like what a lot of other people are saying in the reviews is that you seem to send the wrong drinks out often. I asked for Coke Zero and was sent full fat Coke.

I paid for two beans and only received one which is disappointing
