The handheld shower should be fix higher. Alessandro the barman is so lovely and very welcoming. He likes to talk to everyone and makes us laugh.

Absolutely disgraceful hotel, with poor customer service, changing details on the website, app and call centre different availability of rooms, prices, and storing card details. Had to cancel my booking as informed unable to add early checkin, when offered at reservation time, I thought I would try an Accor hotel as a gold customer, but will stay with Marriott and Hilton, who are more trustworthy and reliable for large family trip planned across the Atlantic.

We had a great time at the Mercure bar The bartender Ali was such an amazing spirit and looked after us throughout our afternoon there. Adding special touches to our drinks and made us feel at home.A good place to chill , work, watch sport, pre night out drinks etc.... Staff were so friendly and accommodating Recommended

Unfortunately, early check-in wasn't great. We paid 60 pounds and didn't get our room until 12:30... we could have spent the money at a pub and checked in at 3 p.m.

Great hotel to stay in to be close to the main transport links to central London. Very friendly staff and always clean rooms. Abundant breakfast buffet. Recommended!

All the staff is very friendly and inviting. Alesandro is my favorite bartender and server.

We went for an evening meal at Marco Pierre White, Italian, which is within the hotel. As we arrived early for our meal, we ordered cocktails at the bar & sat in the waiting area. Nice hotel. Great food.

The bar is absolutely incredible from the cocktails to the service. Alessandro curated an impeccable end to my first night at Mercure. Every cocktail was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I’m in London.

We really appreciated Marie's welcome, kind, smiling and helpful. In the evening we then met Alessandro, friendly, empathetic and very professional who gave us some valuable advice useful for our short holiday. Very welcome that he spoke our language. However, we noticed that he knows well how to interact with customers of various ages. Good and nice.

Had a very nice time in London. Hotel is in walking distance of public transport. Bikes at the frontdoor. Supermarket around the corner. Perfect location. But brown stains in towels, very bad showerhead and a time taking check in and not cheap at all.

We had a great stay in room 706. Only niggles were additional sofa bed was not made up for our arrival but a chat to reception had it resolved by housekeeping. The breakfast overall was good but not to have orange juice available for two of the mornings we dined shouldn’t have happened. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel well located in a nice area of London with short walks to Southwark tube or to the Thames clipper service.

We felt at home! The room is cozy and clean. The breakfast is really good, abundant variety and excellent quality. The service excellent. The bar service is excellent, Alessandro is welcoming, friendly and professional. For the restaurant, excellent food, raw materials of quality, preparation equally. The service was excellent, all the staff were very kind, professional and attentive. The top location! A stone's throw from Tower Bridge and with the Shard behind it. Goodbye, we'll be back!

Brilliant service by Alessandro at dinner time. He couldn’t have been more helpful with my 2 young children. He interacted really well and helped them to have a super time. The food was lovely and ice cream was exceptional.

Lovely one-night stay with my dog. Very convenient for the London Bridge Area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, particularly the barman in the evening. I loved that my dog was welcome in the bar and restaurant and that there was a fridge in the room so I could keep her food chilled. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed although it was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options available on the buffet.

We came for afternoon tea @Marco's Italian restaurant When we arrived we were greeted with friendly staff and were sat down in the bar while our table was being mad ready as we were a little earlier and this was not a problem The afternoon tea for two was great the food was tasty and good size portions and two big pots of tea. Any tea of your choice. Would like to say a big thank u to Promuth for looking after us.

The hotel was very welcoming and in a great location. The staff were very helpful and attentive when we checked in. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy, there was a nice rainfall shower and the mini fridge and safe in the room were great additions to have. Noise pollution wasn’t too bad. We had breakfast one morning which was very high quality with a decent selection. Close walk to the shard and stations and plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. Would recommend :)

Very nice hotel centrally located, good and very friendly service

This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside. It doesn't look like 4 stars, rather inconspicuous. If it hadn't been my goal, I would have passed it by. But that would have been a shame. Because I've never had such an aha moment, shortly after entering. It starts with the rustic, appropriate room scent as well as the ambience in the lobby and bar, which comes across as rustic but not old or aged. I have rarely had this feeling of feeling at home as soon as I enter. This concept is completely consistent. Not only is the first impression good here, but also the furnishings of the hallways and rooms. Everything is clean and well-kept, even if some of it is noticeably old. The furnishings in the rooms correspond to 4 stars, i.e. TV, room safe, capsule machine, free Wi-Fi and a combination shower with hand head and rain shower, although the latter in particular really deserves the name. The beds are good, not sagging. There is only one power socket, but there are plenty of USB sockets on the beds and at the table, so a very well thought out spatial concept. Another plus point is the machine in the hallway where you can get chilled water. There is a corresponding bottle in the room that can be filled again and again. This wouldn't be necessary as London's drinking water is considered one of the best in the world, but it does show the high standard of service. All the service staff in the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. We were there very early when we arrived, so... really early. The room wasn't officially available until 3 p.m., but we were able to get in at 8 a.m. because it was already ready. Not a matter of principle, but customer focus. Upon request, there was also a (chargeable) glass of champagne for breakfast to toast my wife's birthday. Speaking of breakfast: This is Full English, meaning English + international. So you'll find the country's typical baked beans, but also scrambled eggs, fried eggs, muesli and all the other things that make up breakfast. The English bacon deserves its name, I have rarely seen this quality in hotel buffets. If you sit down in the lobby in the evening, you can enjoy the unique ambience in peace and order some drinks as well as a small but nice selection of food, all at very moderate prices. Note: Even if there are cards on the table, you still have to order at the bar counter. This is what you need to know. The location is central, although there are certainly hotels in London that offer better views. The connection to buses and trains is perfect. Conclusion: The British themselves are very polite and service-oriented, I can say that clearly compared to German locations, not just hotels. This hotel is a very good example of this and is recommended, also in terms of price-performance. Absolute and unreserved recommendation.

Had a lovely night at the Mercure London Bridge. The service was excellent! Especially Mathew on reception and all the staff really. The breakfast was fantastic and the bed very comfortable. I gave the room 4 star as the decor is a little tired but apart from that we totally loved it. Had some bar food in the evening which was delicious. I booked through secret escapes so was a bit cheaper and had 15% off drinks and food. Overall fantastic stay :)

I would give 0 stars if I could. I turned up at 10:30pm with the room booked and paid for to be told there is no room for me and I would have to be moved to another hotel where I would have to pay for the room and taxi to destination, then I could claim back. This is not ok Mercure. Suddenly after sharing my frustration there is a room!! Bad hotel management

Hotel was clean. People were friendly. Breakfast and food was expensive and not family friendly pricing.

My room did not have any soap in the shower and did not have any milk with the tea and coffee, so I was not able to have a cup of tea. Other hotels - even basic ones give you some biscuits as well. All in all, pretty poor and I will stay somewhere else next time.

Location is good for a weekend trip. The rooms show some wear and tear especially the door in the bathroom. This is caused i guess by the regularly overfloading of the shower. The staff was ok but not very warm, friendly or proactive at the reception, bar and Breakfast. Breakfast itself was ok but very inconvenient that only one coffee machine was available up the stairs. The other one was closed for unknown reason. Furthermore i applause the effort to make guests aware of food waste but the form at the entrance of the breakfast room i found a bit awkward and make me feel like a kid. Finally the room itself was ok..we had a balcony which was nice but if you look closer you see that the hotel needs a makeover. In conclusion...not the warmest hotel in staff, rooms ok but a bit of wear and tear...but location makes up a lot.

Clean, tidy, daily change of towels. Close to the center (approx. 30 minutes on foot, 15 minutes to the metro).

I had an excellent time at the hotel, my minor comment is about the multi machine at the hotel. Having an hotel gym is important to me and I noticed that it is malfunctioning and some of the cables are crossed. I still managed to use dumbbells and treadmill but it would be great if it gets fixed before my next stay.

Don't trust the marketing pictures. The rooms are very tired. There is a small od dust in the rooms and the corridor. The ensuite smelt like damp/mould. My room wasn't cleaned and there were stains on the bed and carpet floor. The sofa in the room was disgusting with various stains on it.

£250 for a Tuesday night in January. Tiny room with no window. Rubbish wifi. Nothing complimentary in room. Fire alarm went off at 3am. Breakfast distinctly average with little to no service.

Clean and efficient reception staff. Good food in the restaurant. Place kept well maintenance wise.

The ambience of the hotel was absolutely inviting from the moment I walked in. The lobby had a warm, contemporary feel with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made me feel instantly at ease

Lovely place right around the corner from all the sights London has to offer. Great team at reception and the lobby area is fantastic to grab a beer and watch some sports. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay with the family

On-going facilities issues including no air in the room, no hot water and unresponsive front office staff. Bed was uncomfortable and shower was horrible with no door, so water got everywhere. Hotel was very old, dingy and dirty

Empty bathroom, no tissues, no useful products like slippers, plastic cap......surprising for a 4 star, outlet for hair dryer outside the bathroom, strange... Mercure hotels are not identical from one city to another. In addition, this one is all carpet, long live hygiene.....take the example of the Mercure in Amsterdam. Damage

I was impressed by the very friendly front desk. They always welcomed me brightly, and even though I left my clothes in the room, they kindly found them for me. I wasn't expecting breakfast, but it was better than I expected, and the location was great as it was right in front of Tate Modern and across the bridge from St. Paul's Cathedral. It was the best.

Another of the Mercures that my partner and I chose to stay on our trip to Europe. Like other Mercures, they give you a complimentary drink and a Nespresso coffee machine with coffee capsules for almost every day. Good location not in the center of London, and not on Tower Bridge like we thought we were going to be (the same thing happens to many people when they arrive in London heh) We would definitely return, the staff was very friendly at all times.

Already, paid parking. 81st for 3 days, to be parked next to the dumpster. It’s abused!! Staff who don't speak French, don't try to speak slowly, and don't even know how to find a translator in their phone. Then for the bedroom. The towel dryer which does not work and the 2 USB sockets on the bedside table which do not work either. Big disappointment.

Very nice hotel, clean, cozy and quiet, large room, perfect bathroom, very comfortable bed and great pillows, luxury shower, very friendly staff, very good and abundant breakfast, 10m from London Bridge, metro and train 5m, supermarkets and places to eat, very good location. I would return without hesitation.

I am really disappointed by the service, it is still a 4 star. Very small room, bathroom full of limestone, door eaten away by humidity, traces of rust... This is unacceptable at the price of the room. We had to wait because at 3 p.m. the room wasn't even ready, as a matter of principle we keep travelers waiting by offering a drink... 😔 I prefer the ibis which is not very far away and for which the service is . Best. Damage.

Hugely positive experience from wonderful staff members for an afternoon tea at the restaurant here. We had some trouble redeeming a voucher (never trust third party voucher websites e.g. Red Letter Days) and the staff were incredibly supportive, offering a free glass of Prosecco during our hour-long debacle. The food itself was delicious, with a lot of couples around us unable to finish the portion! Would highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the good food but also the delightful staff and positive experience.
