Good takeaway food, I only have sandwiches for breakfast, always busy, always has been service with a smile.

Spot on, proper cafe serving good quality well priced food. The staff are excellent. Inside seating is lovely and good space outside. What more could you ask for in a cafe!

Had a ‘Fill ‘em Up’ breakfast this morning, not only did it fill me right up as advertised but the excellent quality of food left me feeling very satisfied. All fresh ingredients and from what I can assume all locally sourced, down to the freshly baked bread. Can’t say a bad word about this place, great food, friendly staff!

you haven't had a hangover that a Mercy's bacon sandwich couldn't sort out! Honestly the very best breakfasts that will keep you full up till tea time. In our office we have a Merchy's at least once every few weeks and we have never been disappointed. Martock is a lucky village to have it!

Have visited a few times now usually for a breakfast roll and coffee. Great breakfast and very filling. Service is really quick and the team are very friendly and welcoming. It always seems pretty busy so it is definitely popular and can see why. Would recommend.

Nice little café. I had a coffee and didn't eat, however I did see the food coming out to other customers which looked nice and made me jealous. Maybe next time I'll have breakfast here.

After trying a few other local cafe that told us we had to book we ended up here and what a good little cafe it is highly recommend.

Second time coming to Merchy’s I had the vegy breakfast it was absolutely banging all perfect great size and really cheap, partner had a huge toastie with extras. The staff are so nice, they even gave our dog a sausage. It’s not only our fave cafe in the area it’s the dogs!

Stopped off here for breakfast on our way down to Exmouth although very busy we were made aware of the wait and it was definitely worth it 👌 the breakfast and the sausage and egg sandwich were great good portions and the quality of the food was all locally sourced I would guess because it tasted so good and not at all overpriced. If you're passing definitely give this place a try you won't be disappointed

There's so many Artisan cafes, which is nice but if you want an amazing proper breakfast, local fresh produce with thick bread, great staff, spotless and value. I'd go here everytime. Even the tea was perfect. Had not been before. Looking forward to going back.

We dropped in on our way to the West Country and had a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. We could hear lots of telephone orders coming in so the cafe must be well appreciated.

Great little "no frills" cafe. Fresh cooked food at good prices. Inside & outside covered seating. Takes cash & cards. I use it when I'm visiting other businesses on the trading estate and there is always a constant flow of tradesmen dropping in for their lunch. Always a good indicator.

Went for breakfast on a recommendation, a little hair-raising trying to find it at first with the current road works, finally find it and the breakfast was do die for tasty Bacon and sausages 😋 I enjoyed it that much I went back the next day, service is excellent and quick

My workmate & I went to Claire's & we each had a breakfast which was very nice, it was good value & well cooked. The bacon was nice back cut & the sausages were good quality, not the cheap ones often found served as part of a Full English Breakfast. Oh, & the toast was thick sliced too! Nice friendly staff. So if you're in the Martock area & feeling peckish, it's well worth a visit.

I had never been to Claire's Cafe before, I was told where it is while I'm waiting for my Nissan X-Trail to be MOTed. But I'm very pleased to say that not only they can make a really great Coffee and for only a £1, I don't know anywhere else you can buy it a coffee for that, And on top of that, Claire and her staff are so funny to talk to, I can honestly say that I was very happy and relaxed when I had to go back to the garage for my X-Trail.

Been here twice now and each time the food has been great. The ladies who work there are always really welcoming even when we turned up and they were nearly closing!

Claire’s Café personifies excellence in every sense of the word. The fish finger sandwich and jacket potato with tuna are particularly good. Claire’s might just be the finest dining experience in the whole of Somerset. 5 stars!
