Fantastic food and service as usual, we have become regular diners here, the lovely Ria was very professional and was very welcoming thanks again to all the team !

We had a very warm welcome, the food & wine was excellent as was the service. We turned up early for our booking because it was pouring with rain, nevertheless it was not an issue.

This restaurant is a fabulous little place that I love to go to whether it’s with my friends or family, we all love the food, the atmosphere and the staff are incredible, they are so welcoming and kind. If you love Italian food then this is the place to come, has a lot of options you can choose from whether you are a meat eater, a vegetarian or vegan. There are lots to choose from. The waiters I had were Jay and Dona, very kind and very good customer service and I couldn’t have asked for more. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian food or wants to try something new. My all time favourite restaurant

Absolutely love this place. Went there this evening (31.7.24) and the staff were so attentive without being over the top. The food is amazing and would strongly recommend this place. The ambience was just right. I could have easily felt like I was abroad in an upmarket taverna. It was a very warm evening and the doors and windows were open which created a perfect through draft without it blowing a gale! I have attached some photos and this is definitely one of my top "go to" places in Leicester 😋

A very beautiful spot for lunch, really aesthetic and cosy. The outdoor seating is where we sat and it was so pretty. The service was amazing and the Dona was very polite and helpful. I would recommend eating here!

A warm friendly relaxing place to eat in a nice peaceful location. Great decor, and really tasty authentic Italian food. Loved the swing seats beside the windows! Hostess Deena was so attentive - even took time to show me all the dining spaces on the basement, ground and first floors. Each with a unique theme. I’ve been here a few times now when visiting Leicester - highly recommend!

We came for a birthday meal as a family. We were well looked after by Kanisha who was very attentive. Lovely setting for a special occasion. We look forward to coming again!

The Merchant of Venice never disappoints, the ambience is calm and cosy and the food is consistently delicious no matter the dish. Special thanks goes out to Hari for his attentive service during my recent visit, helping with menu choices for the picky eaters of the group, they really enjoyed the dishes recommended.

What an absolutely stunning little gem of a place, ambience, food, service were fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and informative and the food and service was excellent.

The live trumpet player was superb. We had the swing seats which was a highlight for one of us. The choice of sweets was good, had a great caramel cheesecake.
