Menai Deli in Isle of Anglesey

Been going here for a while I've just realised my receipts don't match the amount charged to my card I've been consistently ripped off a pound without being told. They have lost a customer now.

Excellent value for money and spoilt for choice, huge list of sandwich fillings. The service was great and very fast. Lovely tasty rolls for lunch with great traybakes too. Will definitely be back!

Ordered takeaway bacon butties and drinks. Ready to go as promised. Even had a big box for us to carry everything in. Food great too. Well done.

Myself and Staff Members where worked had Lunch from Menai Deli. There was excellent service by those serving and lovely food.

called in today got 2 pasties and 2 eccles cakes...beautiful, lived here 5 years always drove past as no parking ...well worth parking elsewhere and walking.?..well done !

Went there on a Friday morning for a breakfast box,bacon was dry and cold,sausage Burnt and horrible egg like a hockey puck toast like cardboard and beans all mushed up and cold Terrible service we tired a bap last week and was left with the same result though we would Give a second chance today wish we never bothered If you go here make sure you have a 45 gallon drum of water as that’s what you will be needing for the after taste of the bacon

Excellent value for money. Plenty of fillings on for the price we paid ham pineapple cheese and salad. Lovely and fresh. Highly recommend these sandwiches and cakes.

We had a delivery to work and I must say it was delicious. The breakfast baps are full to the brim with lovely bacon/sausage/egg and you can add extras. The online ordering facility is also so handy! Thanks for always delivering in rain, sun or even snow!!!

These guys work very hard, producing really excellent fresh sandwiches and burgers and their popularity shows by the sheer number of people lining up to get in there every lunchtime! Sometimes it can be a wait if 4 customers in front of you all decided to order ful breakfast baguettes but even then, the team iof usually 3-4 staff will still manage to get your order completed within less than 5 minutes, and really, the food is so tasty that the wait is always worth it. Even with a very 'posh' supermarket a 10 minute walk away, there are no sandwiches in there even close to the quality you will get from Menai Deli. Friendly staff and very accommodating to 'custom requirements' - this really is one of those 'hidden gems' TripAdviser love, and me too!

We called in today and had the most fantastic baps for lunch. We had a prawn salad and a smoked salmon and egg mayonnaise bap respectively which were made freshly for us within minutes. The sandwiches were delicious, beautifully fresh and good value and were devoured with relish whilst looking over the glorious Menai Straits. Sandwiches from heaven 🙆‍♀️

This place is amazing to buy your lunch. I had a colossal sausage and egg bap and a can of diet coke for very little cost, which left me full for most of the day. Staff are very friendly, and you can pay on card, too. Will definitely recommend and return.

Great place to pop in and choose from a large range of freshly made hot and cold breakfast/lunch food. Try the tikka wraps - really good! Friendly staff, efficient service even when busy, highly recommended.

Nice looking food, ample choices. Friendly lad serving at counter. Prices ok, comparison locally, though will find better value for money in other towns more away from tourist areas.

After five hours fishing we were desperate for something to eat. What a lucky find, we all enjoyed a fresh made sandwich and BlackBerry flapjack which was devine.

Our office decided to have a treat today and we decided to order breakfast baps from Menai Deli, the ordering was easy using the online system and I received a notification via email to inform me my order was being processed.

Nice place to have breakfast, with sandwiches made to order, including interesting combinations such as lamb-and-mint. They also have Cornish pasties.

Paninis to die for. They are very reasonably priced. You also get wraps and sandwiches and baps which are well worth the money. Full of flavour and filling

A great take away deli! Large selection of baps, sandwiches, pies, salads etc. All freshly prepared. Coffee excellent and sensibly priced. Staff friendly. A great place to buy food for picnics!

We have Mena deli deliver to our workplace in parc menai. Absolutely amazing food for a bargain price. Hot food arrives hot, the cheese burger mega bap is pure awesomeness... will be ordering on a daily basis :)

Great choice of sandwiches/rolls made to order and filled to the brim. Also good for breakfast baps of your design and burgers/sausages etc. Plenty if bottled drinks, crisps and fruit available as well as freshly made flapjacks and cakes. An excellent all-rounder for take-out breakfasts and lunches with friendly staff

For a small rural village such as Porthaethwy this is as good as it gets. Always fresh salad and does an awesome burger too.

As a vegetarian Im really pleased to have the deli locally, I love the Mozzarella and pesto paninis. Im also a fan of the brie and cranberry. The establishment also offers a wide variety in breakfast foods, such as a breakfast bap or some fresh hashbrowns.

Gret food for lunch, a choice of ready made or they will make it up for you. prices are reasonable and customer service excellent.

Well, I absolutely LOVE this place!! I've been coming here for years! As a student and now as a graduate! Staff are always very friendly and helpful! And there isn't much this sandwich shop doesn't offer! In fact there's actually too much choice! Delicious food, always freshly made or ready made is available if you're in a rush (which is very handy) Very reasonably priced! This place has been here for over 20 years which in this day and age speaks volumes!

mediocre sandwich shop, ok for on the run but nothing special, sorry. Busy street with difficulty parking, so will give it a miss next time

I'm not usually one to write reviews or leave negative feed back! But twice i've purchased and over priced tasteless sandwich at this place recently and been beyond disappointed. One had an ginger hair in which i threw after one bite and the other was a grizzle packed tasteless sandwich that looked like it had been thrown from a roof-top... The staff could do with a customer care course and some tips on hygiene. Don't waste your money...

Very clean. Very nice staff. Breakfast baps lovely. Cakes lovely. Just really nice. Buns cakes and drinks comes to around 10 pounds for three of us.

Nice food but very poor customer service. If anything goes wrong with the order don't expect an apology or goodwill gesture. Instead the staff will shout at you and accuse of dishonesty!!!

This place was once a little gem.. No more. I don't know what has happened but it is definitely not what it used to be.The sausage and bacon is always extremely over cooked and chewy, so my old favourite breakfast bap is no more. The sandwich fillings don't leave much to the imagination and now seem very much supermarket quality.The variety isn't what it was and I find a lot of the time, things aren't available which is a shame.The owner and staff are always lovely and always have been, they rarely change which is always a good sign, but it is just a shame about the quality of goods.I must admit, I will not be going back.Great shame.

What a fabulous little place this is. Owned by the very friendly Williams family, all the sandwiches are freshly made as you wait, plus a great selection of toasties and panini's plus pies, sausage rolls and cakes. Good quality tea and coffee plus the most enormous breakfast baps you've ever seen in your life! The place is immaculately clean and well looked after by son and daughter Gavin and Sam.

After a gap year in Cambodia, I started studying at Bangor University a few years ago. My course was in the School of Ocean Sciences at Menai Bridge on Anglesey. I pretty much lived off the food at menai deli and can give it my full support! Breakfast, Lunch and usually a snack when heading home were all great and the staff were always up for a laugh.

i don't usually write reviews but this place is worth a mention. great sandwich's every time with really friendly staff - always busy in there so make sure you get there early! good choice of sandwich's and freshly made - its like a subway without the lifeless staff, tasteless food and dead atmosphere! also try out the cakes! carmel slice is a winner!!

I’ve travelled long and hard to find that perfect bacon butty and I end finding it here in Menai Bridge! Every time served on fresh bread, with plenty of bacon, from a great team of staff behind the counter...always happy to help. If your ever in the area give them a try, you won’t be disappointed....or you will be and you’ll be wrong!ps: the breakfast box & bap are also good but be warned it’s a LOT of food for the money!

Supermarket sarnies are better tasting well packaged and cheaper! Avoid! staff are rude when you complain about the lack of taste and limp salad!

Spent nearly £10 in the shop buying two sandwiches, one of the bags they put the sandwiches in ripped apart as I walked away from the shop spilling the contents all over the floor. I immediately returned they were not interested and accused me of either dropping it or throwing it on the floor!!!!They offered nothing as replacement, recompense not even any sympathy just said "not our problem go away". The remaining sandwich was less than average with tasteless filling and as it turned out very over priced for what was offered.Appalling customer service, places like this do not deserve to stay in business, they give such a bad reputation to the area and the people in the area!
