Mei Kwong Chinese Take Away in Maldon

Got a takeaway on Saturday 8th June,ordered in person at 6pm for collection at 7:15pm.Food ready and drove home(4miles) and found sweet/sour chicken balls missing!! We didn’t go back or phone as we didn’t want food to go cold.Food was tasty and hot. Lesson to learn:-Check container numbers before you leave or delivery person leave-julesdavis

Tried this takeaway for the first time a couple of weeks ago and were glad we did. The food was really tasty, the portion sizes were generous (especially the satay chicken on skewers) and the service was friendly. Couldn't fault it and will be definitely be ordering from here again!

Ordered takeaway only twice since lovely Lisa left very disappointing. Gave it another chance tonight best Chinese we’ve ever had. Young lad who took orders very polite. Delivery man also. Food was fresh absolutely delicious

This take away restaurant is conveniently situated in the middle of Heybridge, next to the Heybridge Inn public house.The business has been in Heybridge for a number of years but is now run by the second generation family who have changed the menu for the best. Clean & tidy take away, with the food always HOT for you to eat on collection. There is a very comprehensive menu, new dishes added which I recommend are the Thai curry dishes, there's even a new section for Far East cuisine of china, and special recommendation for the good value Set meals.with other take aways near by this is one of the best I have tried.

I ordered Chinese from here I got told my delivery should be with me in 1 hour,when it did arrive I got my food and put it on a plate and the first bite was cold soo was rest of the food,I rang up to told them but the owner got rude on the phone soo I told him I want all my money back soo he sent a driver out with the money and me to give the food back when the driver did arrive he started to get rude aswel soo I told him where to go I will never go there for food again soo people becare what u eat from there

Always use Mei kwong for for take away Chinese, consistently good quality food and fast and friendly service. Would recommend 👌🏻
