Great pizzas lovely and hot. Great tasty stuff crust much better than a dominos or Pizza Hut.

Me and my family have been coming here for as long as I can remember. we are very local and they have always been warm and welcoming. Never have any issues. Tonight however was slightly different. There was only one gentleman on shift and he was doing his very best juggling so many tables and he was great, it’s just a shame because it slowed down service a little. Not his fault. There was a couple of issues but when raised with the manager he dealt with them very swiftly and was very accommodating. I will return with my family as this was a one off occasion and they were both very hospitable and were working extremely hard. Always delicious food and very good customer service. Thank you so much to our server Ali and the Manager Kamrul you did not let us down

This has become my friends’ regular spot for intimate dinners, best Indian restaurant locally would say. The food always hits good but our recent visit did not live up to the usual. Would recommend giving it a go, duck chilli spice and korma are our faves from the menu. Usually very quiet.

Wish there was 6 stars to award this restaurant. We have been dining at the Mehek for 24 years & now travel almost 40 miles to come here after the service and standard of cuisine this restaurant never fails to provide. You are treated royally & I’ve not found a Bangladeshi restaurant to top ‘our Mehek!’ Keep up the fantastic standards & Thankyou Ash ‘Abdul’, Ali, Kamrul & your team. Hope you get some well deserved rest this Christmas & look forward to seeing you in your 25th Anniversary year!

I've never eaten in, but the good is marvellous. The atmosphere when picking up is busy but friendly.

The best better chicken I've had in a while. Everything we ordered came out very fresh. The curries was not spicy although if you do want spice you can ask them. The atmosphere was very calm and the restaurant was very clean. Please do try their lamb chops, it was so tender and flavourful.

My pizza was really good especially as I only have a thin and crispy ɓase. I've r had any problems with orders from here and I have recommended them them them to friends

Very nice food. But please check your bills. Their bills are always incorrect. Somehow, we had paid an additional 15 pounds

Avoid the churros they come burnt and dry and there’s barely any chocolate inside it was just stale and empty you could say. I told the restaurant they sent there driver to collect to churros check them and send out new ones the new ones come just the same burnt and stale and dried out so avoid buying them overly there pizzas are delicious

Excellent service and the food was lovely just a bit pricey for what you get

Delivery was lighting quick... so quick, the app still said order cooking, Pizza and sides were pipping hot and absolutely full of flavour. I ordered the garlic sizzler, and it was so good. I'm definitely going to be using it again.

I ordered lunch for my 18 month old child, and on the app it kept saying on it way only to be delievered to somebody else. I don’t think it’s fair for my child to go hungry and I had to buy him food from another restaurant. Next time do answe the phone from the customer.

The pizza was great as usual, I ordered garlic and herb crust twice and still got cheese stuffed.. Wouldn't mind if it didn't cost five pounds.

I have dined at this restaurant 2 times prior to the 30th May 2023. I've always had a great experience. Complimentary poppadoms were set on the table with an array of dips. Beautiful presentation of food, lovely flavours, and polite staff. On the 30th of May 23, I recommend this restaurant to a friend as we were in the area and we were hungry. We walked into an empty restaurant. We called out, and after 5 mins, the owner derived from the kitchen. No apology for keeping us waiting. We made light of the conversation, and he led us to a table. After waiting for another 5 minutes, I asked the owner why we didn't have the complimentary starters? He said that they didn't offer free poppadoms and said our food is nearly ready anyway. The was rude and kept trying to speak over me. He then stormed into the kitchen, mumbling under his breath in his native tongue. We left before the food came. Rude owner. Poor customer service. I'm never ever going there again!

Food is quite considerable, and on the other side I haven't experienced such hostile and terrible customer service anywhere in London, it's too worst to be honest I haven't seen these kind of rude and arrogant waiters, every time I visited there it isn't busy at all they just had one table to serve every time that will be ours still they couldn't serve us properly. Too terrible in short.

Food looked great we were just about to take a spoon out of the vegetarian curry which comes with the chicken biryani and there was literally white hair/fur. Called the restaurant and they insisted that “this is impossible our staff members have dark hair”. Told them none of us have light coloured hair and it literally came out he then asked me what should i do now i was like tbh I'm put off id rather have a refund he was like cant do that you've taken it out Disappointed with the way they treated us didn’t even say can we cook something else was happy to take it back to them as it was NEVER AGAINNN FROM MEHEK

Gave me wrong size pizza and came 1.30hour late

I don’t normally write reviews but after seeing this I am not happy. This was my second time back I initially ate in the restaurant this time was take away. My food was burnt all of it I had to throw away £16 worth of food. By the time I sat down a realised the shop was closed !! Never again

Poor service on a Saturday evening only one waiter rushing around like a madman, the other on phone calls for takeaways, however thy were reasonably polite. Had to wait for service and had difficulty calling for table to be cleared, had to wait 25 minutes and for the bill. Food very average and overpriced, had to send back the very overcooked and tasteless pinior cheese. Restaurant however is well decorated modern well laid out and very clean..... sadly not good enough though overall. £100 bill for 2 adults and a child! Needless to say would not return!

Food was edible but lacked lustre except for the naan (despite being burnt). Not the best service either. Very aggressive and disrespectful when discussing the fact that they had overcharged us. I have never experienced such unpolite service both here and abroad. Shocked to say the least! In hindsight I now can see why the place was virtually empty. Avoid this restaurant like the plague.

Absolutely terrible service. The waiter was very aggressive when we noticed a discrepancy between the bill and what we actually ordered. We were overcharged and we simply asked the waiter to calculate the bill again. Immediately, he became defensive, dismissive and argumentative. The food was okay but the service was appalling and on that basis I would give zero stars if I could.

Food was good. But it can't make up for the terrible service.  The server became so aggressive once we discovered he had overcharged us. And still tried to pin it on us saying we were trying to rip each other off. Server stormed off in a rage when we asked for the bill. Not worth going to at all.

Very disappointed!!! I can now understand why every time I drive past that the restaurant is always empty We visited last night arrived at around 7 o’clock The waiter came over without uttering a word and placed the menus in the middle of the table .He then asked if we wanted drinks . Came over with the drinks and said are we ready to order , we said if we could have a few minutes more to decide , he then just stood there until we were ready . While having our meal we were approached 6 times if we wanted more drinks , I’m sure after telling a waiter you don’t need any more drinks that you then wouldn’t have another ask you the same question after 2 mins . After the table was cleared we received our bill on our table promptly after 2 mins ! We didn’t even ask for it . We felt like we were being rushed out and the time was only 8.30 We paid and all 6 of us walked out not even one waiter said goodbye or even acknowledged us leaving . I definitely will not be visiting here again so many more Very good hospitable Indian restaurants in Enfield with better food and welcoming too

We got our food delivered. It turned up fast and hot. The food tasted good and the portions are a good size as well. Overall very good.

I've eaten from alot of Indian restaurants in London. I had one of the best vindaloos I've had in my life. Food wasn't oily & everything was cooked to near enough perfection. Full of spices but the flavours still remained balanced enough for the British demographic. Defo would recommend & go again👏🏾

my food was wrong i got delivered a meatfeast pizza but i ordered a double pepperoni

Wow. Just got home from my meal tonight and it was brilliant. First went to Mehek over 10 years ago and it was fab, so had high expectations and they delivered🙌🏾. Got served by Ali and Ash - Ali although busy did a great job of attending to everyone and still providing really good service, Ash, was really kind and also provided a great, friendly service and held a good conversation. Food was brilliant🤤, Duck Sizzling was beautiful, we had a few different mains and while all really nice the Balti mix was my fave. Definitely not going to wait 10 years to come back, the takeaway is calling my name already.

I am shocked at the quality of the food and disappointed that they are giving a bad impression of how Indian food should taste. The sag aloo and matar paneer were so disgusting that I had to throw away in the bin. I don't know how the restaurant expects customers to eat such rubbish. The chef is definitely not trained in Indian cuisine.

£17 for just dips pizza was missing

3 of us had a lovely meal. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated and has nice lighting making the atmosphere very relaxing without being too bright or too dark. The service was very good not too fussy but there when you needed them giving you time to study the menu without pressuring you. The food was excellent. I will visit again

Went for a meal on a Tuesday evening with family for s little treat, expecting it to be quiet, was surprised there were 4 tables full.. however the waiter sat us down and tended to us very politely ( only him at the time). Then the owner came, came over had a pleasant conversation with us, spoke to my children and went and got us some drinks. The food was delicious King prawn butterfly Prawn puree ( asked for extra spice) 10/10 ( this was my one) Mixed grill ( my children loved it) Mixed starter Mains Mehek special full of flavour Nawabs dish ( chicken n king prawn) Mixed special Biryani Nan and rice... Everything was yummy, youngest couldn't decide what was liked the most...all was yummy!! Empty plates at the end of the evening. P.s. With the papadoms the Mango chutney mixed with chilli one side by side...must be tried!! Very tasty!!

After waiting over an hour and chasing the shop.....my order was never received!! The delivery driver said he gave it to a little girl passing the house??? Then he stood laughing at me whilst I was on the phone to the shop. Do not order from here, absolutely disgusting treatment.

If zero was an option I would pick it. The business has its own carpark which isn't used until 5pm by their customers yet the owners have hired a company to charge people £130 for parking during the day when their closed. The owners are obviously money hungry opportunists who care nothing for local residents or indeed their own customers but instead want a few quid extra income even if it stings their long term business. I will never eat here ever again. Money grabbing hungry scammers.

The quality of food from Mehek is consistently excellent. The food is just so tasty. I've ordered takeaway and visited the restaurant, and have always had a lovely time. The staff are very kind and accommodating and food is always served hot. On occasion, they may have forgotten to deliver something but they have always come back to drop it off. I highly recommend this place!

Lovely food and nicest delivery driver I’ve ever had

Awful experience all-round. Waited more than one and a half hours for our food to show up. Person on the phone put the phone down on us when we called to ask where it was. Neither he nor the delivery driver apologised for it being so late. We ordered a range of food - the mattar ponir was just awful - 4 pieces of paneer/ponir in the entire dish and they had just thrown that and some peas into a korma sauce. Speaks volumes - they don't even know how to make actual Indian food. Disgraceful.

I placed an order and waited more than 2 hours but never received anything. So I thought I’m being nice waited for this long and I phoned the restaurant to get an update and been told they will call me bk. however 15 min later I phoned bk and the restaurant saying sorry we don’t know where is our driver and he don’t answer he’s phone. So no food? Where is my money? They hung up the phone ... Its shocking !!!

I was pregnant and came very far as it was the only Indian restaurant around my area I really wanted to have mango lassi however there customer service was the worst and refused to make a drink if I wasn't going to order food. Very bad people work there also talk rudely.

Was a little while ago as had been a regular for a few years, I go to AlbanyTandoori now. Was two younger staff, not the usual guy who has always been friendly once running to my car when forgot my shopping. One was very rude from the beginning, rushing me and when said the starter I wanted, one abruptly said is that it! I told them where is the manager but got ignored so I walked away and have never been back.

I got a vindaloo and there was next to no spice. For the price I paid It was nowhere near the quality expected. £5.50 spiced kebab dish and there more meat on a peperrami £3.25 for 2 of the smallest meat samosa Ive seen, and as for the salad it was a disgrace. One ring of onion, one slice of cucumber and what looked like the leftover lettuce of a rabbits cage.
