came all the way from west midlands, for my cousins nikkah at this restaurant two days ago, half of my family are suffering with food poisoning, including myself been vomiting so badly to the point where i had to miss work because of them, the fact that we all have food poisoning after attending an event at their restaurant says something. They should put more consideration into how they handle their food because it’s no joke several people have been admitted to hospital because of their unhygenic practises with food handling and its not right because people have now suffered with loss of earnings, and a lot of pain and suffering, as a result of this.

We went to this restaurant on Wednesday and gave us food poisoning poor service.

This place gave food poisoning to my entire family we ended up in hospital where they told us we have got salmonella poisoning

What a horrible experience ! We came here on 19th Feb and the next day, we all got sick. This restaurant gave my whole family of 20+ people, food poisoning. I was in the hospital all night with my sister because of the constant vomiting and diarrhoea. They spilt food on my cousin,almost went on my 1 year old baby cousin, and the waiter was genuinely not apologetic…terrible service. Save your money and stay at home, or go somewhere else, just not Mehek.

I have been informed many of the people that attended are in the same condition and a few sending pictures from the hospital. A young girl from the bride side has been kept by the hospital. This establishment needs to be shut down pending an investigation before they kill someone. Restaurant owner needs to be held accountable.

I went to a celebration on Wednesday afternoon and I was really disgusted. I was really disgusted by the food and hygiene level. I must’ve had a lamb curry or chicken curry and then 24 hours later I must’ve got a really bad headache with severe stomach pain. I was in the toilet all day yesterday and ended up throwing up four times during the night really bad. I wouldn’t recommend it. I think it was food poison.

awful catering service, would not recommend hosting events or even going to this place again! food was cold, servers had spilt oil onto guests which was very close to also spilling on a 1 year old baby who was sleeping. servers then ignored the very same people that got oil spilt on and did not get served (thankfully, as all of us now have bad symptoms of food poisoning!!) those who have been hospitalised/ connected with gps have informed them with the terrible hygiene and experience — this is not acceptable

I went to the restaurant on the 19th of Feb for my brother’s Nikkah (wedding) party. I ate the chicken and meat curry and the cold starters. The next day I fainted on my way to the bathroom and fell onto the floor, due to feeling nauseated and stomach pain. I woke up with my mum and brother trying to pick me up and feeding me water. It was salmonella. 5 family members went hospital, 1 admitted and most are not recovering. 20+ guest have the same symptoms. It's been 2 days. GP prescribed anti sickness and noted the restaurant down. They need to take more care and caution on what they feed us. It must’ve been gone-off chicken/meat because it’s crazy how our entire family is suffering from the same pains and symptoms. I’ve had to call in sick from work today and tomorrow causing me loss of earnings which is very much needed at a time like this, when my brother has just gotten married.

We went to this restaurant two days ago for a family event and I can say for a fact that it was a horrible experience. The starters were cold and the service was horrible, we received the food incredibly late. 24 hours later I felt like my stomach needed to get pumped because of the crazy food poisoning and the rest of the family is suffering with food poisoning too. I would not recommend this place and you will be hearing back from us very soon.

The service was absolutely disgraceful. The waiter nearly dropped curry on top of my 1 year old baby who was sleeping but instead they decided to spill onto my daughters face and clothes. I was horrified and needed to leave asap As for the food, my children have been food poisoned as they can’t stop vomiting since the night after and is still poorly. Definitely love this place, I normally ask to go light on the base sauce totally forgot this time way to much base sauce made my pizza sweet but it still nice

First time going to this restaurant even though I live close and was so impressed,had lamb shank with pilau rice and a side Keema nam bread and was very impressed,great service and professionalism was shown,food was piping hot and delicious,very good price and will certainly be going there again

I am sorry to say that I wasn't very impressed by the service. The restaurant was so cold that I gad to eat food wearing my winter jacket. I requested them to switch on the heater, but they kept saying it's on. They made older people sit on one side of the restaurant on the same table, meaning their heating was on only one side. I did not enjoy my dinner and packed the food and left. Don't think I will go again.

We ordered ahead and food was ready as we were seared 15min later. Fresh, authentic Indian flavours, freindly, attentive waiters, safe parking.

Had a mixed experience at Mehak Restaurant in Enfield. The tandoori roti and mushroom fry were absolutely perfect (5/5 each), and the chana masala was good but needed an extra kick of spice (4/5). The tandoori chicken, however, was a letdown—not as tender or spicy as requested (3/5). Overall, I’d rate the food 3.5/5. The ambience was great and made the visit enjoyable. Would recommend with slight tweaks to the spice levels!🍴🍽️

Very happy pizza was warm and delicious

Dishes are extremely tasty and well cooked, with nice subtle flavours and spices were not overpowering. I found the medium prawn puri, Mehek special (inc cauliflower bhaji) and Mehek delight fully tolerable with my delicate stomach and would recommend you try this place if you usually have intolerances to heavy spices. Price is also very reasonable as £20 was enough food for 2 people (or me for 2 days). First order was very slow 1.5hrs but I've now adjusted my rating as they delivered within the estimated timescale for my 2nd order.

Awful, have been waiting for 1hr 45mins. They don't answer the phone to update on the delay. Called several times. Seems they don't care about customers waiting 1hr 45mins. Will NEVER order from there again! Complete waste of time and ruined our evening. Order from Anokhi instead, at least they answer the phone and delivery when they say they will! Currently, still no delivery from Mehek and its been over 2hrs. Order has been cancelled by us!! Avoid this restaurant!!

We have ordered a meal for my partners birthday on uber eats, 2 hours no show, contacted uber useless, contacted Mehek over 20 times no reply, left two voice messages, no one bothered to call back, absolutely joke of a company, will never ever order from them, absolutely bad service. If I could give a 0 star I would, least they could do is pick up the phone.

stay away from this place 2 hours and 45 mins of waiting for food to be delivered and not receiving it and nobody picking up after my first call 1:45 minutes . The guy on the telephone was very rude

We made the mistake or placing a telephone order; what a joke. The guy took my order then said they couldn't accept card payments (made me a bit suspicious), he said we could pay the delivery guy. The guy turned up and guess what, he didn't have a card reader. I may be wrong but it seems that you may not like declaring tax, so just taking cash? If not then reply and prove me wrong. They also 'forgot' to give us the poppadoms we had paid for, why was that? I'm looking forward to your excuses.....

I ordered a takeaway via Uber Eats. I really craved a some Indian takeaway. I was sorely disappointed. I ordered a simple Chicken Tikka and Pilau Rice. The sauce looked brown rather than red and the taste was terrible. I also added a Partha. This was so doughy. I'm not saying you won't like it. But I really got to say it didn't hit the spot. I felt deflated after a long day at work and the food did not live up to it. I hope you enjoy the food more than me. Bon Appetit.

Pizza was mid. Base was like bread, not pizza dough, stingy with cheese - which clearly isn't real mozz. Mediocre taste. Chicken wings aren't dredged in flour, just breadcrumbs, clearly from frozen. Would not eat here again.

I was quite disappointed with the pizza I ordered from Pizza Go Go and, unfortunately, I will not be ordering from them again. The pizza I received was overcooked, dry, and burnt to the point of being inedible. I feel like I paid a substantial amount for a meal that simply could not be enjoyed. Overall, this was a very unsatisfactory experience.

I love Mehek! We all do... the food is delicious, the portions are generous and the staff are lovely. They always go that extra mile for their regulars too! Keep it up... I will come back again and again!

Me and my family have been coming here for as long as I can remember. we are very local and they have always been warm and welcoming. Never have any issues. Tonight however was slightly different. There was only one gentleman on shift and he was doing his very best juggling so many tables and he was great, it’s just a shame because it slowed down service a little. Not his fault. There was a couple of issues but when raised with the manager he dealt with them very swiftly and was very accommodating. I will return with my family as this was a one off occasion and they were both very hospitable and were working extremely hard. Always delicious food and very good customer service. Thank you so much to our server Ali and the Manager Kamrul you did not let us down

This has become my friends’ regular spot for intimate dinners, best Indian restaurant locally would say. The food always hits good but our recent visit did not live up to the usual. Would recommend giving it a go, duck chilli spice and korma are our faves from the menu. Usually very quiet.

We have been dining at the Mehek for 24 years & now travel almost 40 miles to come here after the service and standard of cuisine this restaurant never fails to provide. You are treated royally & I’ve not found a Bangladeshi restaurant to top ‘our Mehek!’ Keep up the fantastic standards & Thankyou Ash ‘Abdul’, Ali, Kamrul & your team. I've never eaten in, but the good is marvellous. The atmosphere when picking up is busy but friendly.

The best better chicken I've had in a while. Everything we ordered came out very fresh. The curries was not spicy although if you do want spice you can ask them. The atmosphere was very calm and the restaurant was very clean. Please do try their lamb chops, it was so tender and flavourful.

My pizza was really good especially as I only have a thin and crispy ɓase. I've r had any problems with orders from here and I have recommended them them them to friends

Avoid the churros they come burnt and dry and there’s barely any chocolate inside it was just stale and empty you could say. I told the restaurant they sent there driver to collect to churros check them and send out new ones the new ones come just the same burnt and stale and dried out so avoid buying them overly there pizzas are delicious

Delivery was lighting quick... so quick, the app still said order cooking, Pizza and sides were pipping hot and absolutely full of flavour. I ordered the garlic sizzler, and it was so good. I'm definitely going to be using it again.

I ordered lunch for my 18 month old child, and on the app it kept saying on it way only to be delievered to somebody else. I don’t think it’s fair for my child to go hungry and I had to buy him food from another restaurant. Next time do answe the phone from the customer.

The pizza was great as usual, I ordered garlic and herb crust twice and still got cheese stuffed.. Wouldn't mind if it didn't cost five pounds.

I have dined at this restaurant 2 times prior to the 30th May 2023. I've always had a great experience. Complimentary poppadoms were set on the table with an array of dips. Beautiful presentation of food, lovely flavours, and polite staff. On the 30th of May 23, I recommend this restaurant to a friend as we were in the area and we were hungry. We walked into an empty restaurant. We called out, and after 5 mins, the owner derived from the kitchen. No apology for keeping us waiting. We made light of the conversation, and he led us to a table. After waiting for another 5 minutes, I asked the owner why we didn't have the complimentary starters? He said that they didn't offer free poppadoms and said our food is nearly ready anyway. The was rude and kept trying to speak over me. He then stormed into the kitchen, mumbling under his breath in his native tongue. We left before the food came. Rude owner. Poor customer service. I'm never ever going there again!

Food is quite considerable, and on the other side I haven't experienced such hostile and terrible customer service anywhere in London, it's too worst to be honest I haven't seen these kind of rude and arrogant waiters, every time I visited there it isn't busy at all they just had one table to serve every time that will be ours still they couldn't serve us properly. Too terrible in short.

Lovely service and the food was brilliant.

We have been going to Mehek for about 3 years now on my friends birthday every year and have never had a problem until last night. Well firstly the “complimentary” popadoms and sundries we were charged £20 for on the bill at the end. Secondly we clearly stated we were paying separately for our meals before we ordered but one bill was produced to which it stated “DKS” £36 which apparently was for soft drinks we had bought for the kids, he charged us £3.20 for a glass of lemonade but clearly stated in the menu the drinks were £2.95. Oh you think this was bad WAIT FOR IT, the representative of this establishment then proceeded to shout at us telling me he had been there for 20 years, I asked why he hadn’t developed any customer service skills in that time. Another man then came out to assist us to which he apologised took off the charge for the “complimentary sundries” removed our service charge and still got £150 out of us for a shocking experience. It’s safe to say the birthday next year will not be spent here. Shocking!!!!

Gave me wrong size pizza and came 1.30hour late

I don’t normally write reviews but after seeing this I am not happy. This was my second time back I initially ate in the restaurant this time was take away. My food was burnt all of it I had to throw away £16 worth of food. By the time I sat down a realised the shop was closed !! Never again

Poor service on a Saturday evening only one waiter rushing around like a madman, the other on phone calls for takeaways, however thy were reasonably polite. Had to wait for service and had difficulty calling for table to be cleared, had to wait 25 minutes and for the bill. Food very average and overpriced, had to send back the very overcooked and tasteless pinior cheese. Restaurant however is well decorated modern well laid out and very clean..... sadly not good enough though overall. £100 bill for 2 adults and a child! Needless to say would not return!

Piping hot and tasty, always order our Pizza from here. Can't fault it.
