Good value for money, ordered the set meal. Tasty but very very oily.

Quality of food was good nicely flavoured, nldidnt think much of the interior and although it's just a take away they could make the place more friendly and welcoming I think. All in all food was good.

The chicken tikka masala was tasty and the chicken was tender, rice and naan bread was good, and the Bombay potatoes was a bit different to others I’ve had but was okay. Can’t fault them really prices are very reasonable and enjoyed the meal will definitely order from here again. :) very quick delivery 20 minutes

Disgusting overpriced oily and portion is about 50 grams extremely rude and worst place I have ate from if you smart enough to read this dont order and save yourself the disappointment Update if your going through the reviews and notice chutney express seems to reply fake review on most negative reviews seems to me the only fake reviews are the positive ones order at your own risk! Hair in the food. Ordered for delivery and the starters were stone cold and foul. Peshwari naan was very disappointing.

First time ordering food here and we were all impressed. Well prepared, beautifully seasoned and they know how to cook seafood perfectly. The vegetable dishes were also amazing! In fact everything we ordered was great. Our order was delivered very quickly so everything was piping hot. An excellent first time experience. Definitely ordering again.

The food I ordered from this restaurant was appalling I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone for the price I paid and what I got was not acceptable, I tried to call the restaurant several times and had no answer, giving it 1 star is generous. What a disappointment

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN NORTH LONDON!!! I ordered from Uber Eats and put in the notes to make the curry more spiced when the food arrived it was not even a quarter full and majority was oil.(I have uploaded a photo) Not to mention the food arrived cold and the poppadums were smashed up. We also requested salad and mint sauce but they were not included. I called the manager to ask why the food portions were so small and also that it tasted funny and he said that because we wanted it more spicy they give a small portion and completely refused to believe that the food was cold or the poppadums were smashed!! He was completely unprofessional and rude in his tone and genuinely spoke to me like garbage and did not once apologise. The portions were so tiny that all 3 of us were still hungry after sharing 3 dishes! First and last time ordering from Chutney Express, if i could give 0 stars I would as 1 star is far too generous for the poor service and quality of food. edit- Their unethical response below, they have proven my point in poor attitude and low standard of customer service. Please see other reviews where they deny that the customers exist which is extremely shocking. I ended up with food poisoning and will never be going anywhere near this restaurant again!

Ordered collection Rude staff. Portion are very small and expensive One naan bread for £3. You must be crazy to pay this amount Salad was not fresh. Food doesn't taste like indian food As an Indian I can tell taste difference. Feels like you are eating flavoured oil with rice or bread

If I could I wouldn’t even give this disgusting place one star because they honestly don’t deserve it. The manager has shown himself to be a vile human being from his constant lack of consideration for the customers complaints. The portions of the food are very small and not worth the money spent on them as many would agree. The excessive oil use is retching and unpleasant. The manger in particular is despicable and very rude on both phone and online. I had a complaint about the quality of the food which is the restaurants responsibility in which I asked for a refund and the unnecessary disrespect I was given was appalling. I was denied the refund and left feeling quite upset. Overall this is not a service I will EVER be using again and would highly recommend no one else to use this service as it is not worth the money spent and you will receive a foul service.

Great Indian take-away, food very good, prices reasonable and quick home delivery. Staff when ordering very friendly. Would definitely use again.

We are lucky to have this place around the corner from us. The food is extremely reasonable and quality is exceptional. Tried a few curries from there and my favourite Keema Nan bread. This is one of the best Indian Takeaway out there. Delicious food. Friendly and professional working team.

Ordered after 2 months, seems like food quality and service has improved a lot, the service was quick and food was great portion sizes and filled with flavour. Specially "Chicken Rezala" is the best. Will order again soon.

What happened to Chutney Express?? Curries used to be generous portions, creamy and with tender meat. Now you get very small portions, quite dry and greasy. Not to mention you don't get any of the freebies you used to get with previous management such as free poppadoms, salad etc etc.... What a shame! Will not use again!

Recently ordered through Just Eat, delivery was before estimated and curry wast tasty with lamb that was soft and melted in the mouth. The only negative was the popodoms were slightly stale but it was late at night to be fair.

Ordered a take-away yesterday (31/03/2017) at 8 pm and was told it would be delivered by 9 pm. Around 9 pm no sign of the delivery so contacted the shop and was told the driver had just left and will be there shortly. The driver arrived at 9.45 pm. I ordered a garlic chilli chicken dish and 8 other dishes. I expected the garlic chilli chicken dish to be hot but it nearly blew my f***ing brains out. They added chilli powder to the dish. In fact all the dishes had chilli powder. This place has gone downhill in the past few weeks possibly due to new management and a new chef. I use to order from here regularly but I will not be ordering from Chutney Express again.

Terrible experience. Waited 2 hours food didn't arrive. Tried to call and the line was busy for another 30 mins!! Terrible!!!

Ordered through Just Eat. Food never arrived. Tried to call the restaurant, no answer. Just Eat customer service unable to reach them either. I can see from other reviews this is now a regular problem. I won't order from here again.

Awful experience with what used to be a good local takeaway. 90mins to get a delivery order. Minimal apology from the staff. Food quality has gone downhill. Bland and tasteless. Suspect they have changed ownership or chef. Will not be ordering from them again.
