Was looking for late night Chinese on a Tuesday night. Mehak was the only one open at 11:40pm. Have never eaten from here before so was worried how the food will taste 20 mins before closing time. Got there 5 mins before closure and my sweet and sour chicken with chow mein and drink looked and smelt amazing. When I got home and tried it, it tasted absolutely divine. Was freshly made with good ingredients. The owner Umer was very accomodating even so late in the night which was a pleasant surprise. Will be visiting again for sure.

Not our first time here. We had Fish biryani Egg biryani Kharhi ghost 2 samosas All food is freshly cooked so is pipping hot. Full of flavour. A huge menu including Chinese which we haven't tried. Waitress was new, smiley and very helpful. Is more of a cafe environment but was nice and busy for 1830 on a Sunday evening. Thoroughly recommend

Quality subpar, delivery made minus 1 drink, called the restaurant directly and was told this will be delivered but it was not, we are blessed to have options, do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else. Will not be ordering from this place and will inform family amd friends not to also.

Disgusting behaviour on the phone saying I'm blacklisted and refusing to deliver to me when I am a regular customer. Staff can barely speak English over the phone

2nd time , chicken curry is off very poor standard and not replaced enough Ordered chicken tikka last time which was off and tasted very old.... SOUR CHICKEN WHICH IS OFF MANY REVIEWS SAY THE SAME Now chicken curry tastes awful, it did seem a lot wasn't left so I should have left it. Would not be returning here for sure....

Their Kebab rolls are very tasty, but the chicken was far too dry. Must improve, not hard to cook chicken.

We've ordered few times chicken curry and always we were really happy with the food and service there. Now we know that our feet will never again pop in to this place. Why? We've ordered chicken curry but as soon as we've tried it was sour and meat was wasn't fresh. I complained and the manager told me that he knows the taste because he is eating the same in the kitchen. I explained that I know the taste because it is not our first time there and I am pregnant so I can't risk to get the food poisoning - he didn't want to try from the counter and offered us to try one from the kitchen. My husband tried it and said to him 'the taste is different' and other guy from their staff started to laugh so we said 'try this one from the counter if the taste is same'. He tried and confirmed that something is wrong. I am really sorry about that experience but they should trust their customers and if something is wrong at least should to apologise.

Ordered Chinese which tasted bad. Meat was raw and foul smelling.

Daal was off! Smelly, made complaints. Food was very basic, seating area was nice. Cutleries were not properly clean, service was poor, the young lady was giving wrong information since beginning. Young man behind the counter was helpful hence giving 2 star otherwise service was very poor overall

My recent visit 02/06/24 @15:35pm to mehak was extremely disappointing. I ordered take away over the phone and asked for 3 king prawns noodles 2 very spicy and 1 medium spicy. At the time of collection I asked the guy who took my money did you make it spicy he said yes.... Went home and opened the box non of them had any spice in it also king prawns wasn't cooked properly it was still raw. I called straight away the lady picked up and explained she tells me when you next come in I'll tell the manager. I asked for her name so I know who I'm speaking to she replied we are not allowed.. I don't think I would ever want to go there again!

Worst chicken curry ever in my life sauce was like water .

Worst chicken biriyani ever had. It was chicken curry mixed with pilav rice and gave as chicken biriyani.

Price has gone up, taste has gone down. Still worth eating, but not often.

just ordered chicken tikka curry and it was all full of Oil, no masala on the chicken at all. I called the restaurant to give them feedback back of my experience. I wouldnt want to eat any curry from there ever again I feel kinda sick.

I used to get takeaway curries quite frequently but more recently their portions are getting way too small for the price, I got a curry small size pack but that was literally a joke. They need to highly improve their service and review the price list.

Came as a family for iftar. Excellent service by the waitress. She was kind and caring. Food was tasty and good value. Chicken was slightly undercooked but quickly replaced without any fuss. Overall everyone enjoyed the food. It was nice that they gave dates to open our fast with. Sad to think that most places don't bother. So a big thank you.

I bought several types of samosas and food for breaking fast for entire family. Unfortunately, we had to throw away all the food we bought. All the food was sour, and the samosas skin fell apart. The fillings smelled bad and seemed undercooked, like they cooked the meat directly from the freezer. Truly disappointing. I will not step foot here again. I will also extend this complaint to the FSA.

Indian and Chinese in one. The prawn dim sums are really nice, I also get rice and duck which is nice and filling.

So i ordered naan for take away and when i came home tired from work, this is what i got. Never buy from their restaurant. It is nothing but waste of money and time.

Pathetic Chinese with stinky smell. I ordered 2 Chinese portions for takeaway and on reaching home after opening they are not worthy to be consumed. Bin them straight away. Bad experience

Disgusting and greasy and the Singapore noodles tasted salty and like curry powder, the chicken chow mein was greasy and tasted funny the chips were disgusting as well , I woke up with an upset stomach

Place has been in need of a refurbishment for such a long time, and finally, it has happened. It looks 100 times better, and the food is still good. I think the owners are new as some of the recipes seem to have changed, but the food is nice and edible. Will go back and try some more dishes. Get the front doors fixed, as it's freezing and the draft is destroying the atmosphere. Portable heaters in the corner are not good enough.

The food overall was a disappointing, the vegetable curry was almost like eating mashed potato with a lack of flavour , as well as that the bread was at most , luke-warm. On top of that the wait-time was excessive the food was boring.

Review 2023 December: visited after years, they have recently refurbished the place and the ambience looks much better now. I tried their hot n sour soup which was pretty nice and their chow min was also very good. The waitress who served us was very kind and friendly. Old review: Went there a month ago, chicken doner was good, the place lacks in ambience, management and is not well organized. The waitress didn't understand properly and no proper system for billing and order taking. Food was fine. Served cold gulab jamuns and when i asked to heat them had to wait for more than 5 minutes and they were too much hot

Dec 2023 - Mehak has been refurbished to a high standard so I thought I'd give it another try. I was really pleasantly surprised, the lamb chop suey, chicken with black bean and ho fun was really tasty. Great portion sizes. The service was quick and polite. One of the tempura prawn was still frozen inside but they rectified it quickly and to our satisfaction. Kids loved it. 2019 -Poor dining IN experience, have ordered takeaway from there before and it has been ok but this time around decided to dine in and the chow mein barely tasted like chow mein. The restaurant was grottier than normal so it made the whole experience very poor. On a plus note - they gave large portions

This place is now under new management, interior looks new and trendy but the food is just as good as before! This is a restaurant where you would come often to have some good no frill honest food, nothing fancy or outstanding just regular Indian food. I did not try the Chinese items, no particular reason just that if I wanted to eat Chinese I would go to a Chinese place. Service was good not sure why there are some negative comments about service. The girl waiting our table was alert and sincere, that is good enough I guess. Definitely worth visiting again! Return visit: tried the Chinese items and they were really good, no complain!

Every dish was inedible! Service was rude and obnoxious, food was genuinely disgusting. Every dish was undercooked The meat was so dry it was like dehydrated meat! Fried rice was boiled along with the bits of chicken! Chicken chow mein was like slop and saturated in grease

Food hygiene rating of two stars!!! Actually feel sick after attempting 1 spoonful. Ordered takeaway which was totally inedible, £45 down the drain. Slimy tasteless noodles, special fried rice was boiled, barely any meat. Salt and pepper ribs where tough as old boots and dry as leather. Prawn balls were weired texture and coated chicken looked like a battered sausage. Runny sauce. I had two spoonfuls of the noodles and my mouth feels greasy. I couldn't stomach any of the 6 dishes we ordered. Whole order is going in the bin. Genuinely never had such a terrible take away, massively disappointed. Really wouldn't waste your money here.

Food was absolutely horrendous, they refused to refund anything, Indian takeaway serving Chinese but it’s not! Staff were either dumb/rude, genuinely disgusting in every way, waste of £50

Really enjoyed their seekh kebabs and haleem. The owner was kind enough to fry some onions for me as I like fried onions as a garnish for haleem. Customer service was excellent and food was tasty. Will be visiting again to try the Chinese food iA.

One of the worst restaurants ever, we were 10’people, ordered lots of food , felt like we are doing some crime , they were not happy at all, they felt irritated when ever we asked something, some food was good some was disgusting, very inconsistent , Dont come if you are with a large group

So disappointed went to collect my order , I got home and found a long hair in my noodles !!! Called the restaurant and insisted on a refund. The man on the phone HASAAN did not even apologise until he was remind of his lack of customer service !

Grab a tasty Double Kebab Roll and Drink for only £2.00 - Great value for money. 2023 update... As with everywhere, prices have risen (to a fiver), but the Kebab Rolls are just as tasty. The place has been refurbished and is now far more welcoming to eat in.

Standard of Food and service has sadly declined over the last few years. Have been visiting this place for last 16 Years, but won't be returning any more as this has become a below average eatery compared to others in the area. If you want a proper Karahi, then visit Iman Restaurant which is opposite.

This establishment they are contacting fraud by charging randomly credit and debit cards without order anything of them and without setting a foot in the premises. We are in no the other end of England and they charge our card for deliveries we don’t know where they base after google search we call them and when I ask them about it the only answer was I can not hear u .. we report u to the police

My wife is currently on holiday and I've been eating in nearly every day. I must so the food is excellent, quality, taste, freshness, in all dishes. Very happy with service. Staff are respectful, helpful and always greet me with a smile. Anything I want, they do with kindness. I would thoroughly recommend this place for its outstanding menu. Had Biryani with Tadka loved it , proper Asian style food Indian - Pakistani. Also good price & now they have renovated the restaurant so more seating . Staff is also good Nazim, Afaq, Hasan & Hateem. Great service thank you ..Do give a visit .

It was an amazing experience, at the place, amazing and delicious food, good fast and quick service. The taste was great, and a fine place to dine in I would recommend to visit and try Chinese food. Great management.

Disappointing Experience - Cold Chicken, Wrong Order, Long Wait My recent visit to mehak was incredibly disappointing. The Singapore noodles I ordered had cold and undercooked chicken, which raised concerns about food safety. Additionally, despite requesting chicken chow mein with chicken, our order arrived without any chicken at all. The long queue added to the frustration, with a wait time of nearly one and a half hours. Overall, the experience was far from satisfactory. I would caution others to approach dining at mehak with caution, as our experience highlighted issues with food quality, order accuracy, and wait times. Edit: Luckily afterwards we went back and we got a refund and the man asked if we wanted food for free.But please next time do better. Iv come here many times and the food has been excellent but today was just not it.

This place food is really nice especially the Indian side, however the Chinese menu is a lot more bland they could add more flavouring,, had better Chinese food from other places. The reason I gave them 4 star is because they really could make the eat in section alot more nicer looking otherwise food is great.

I ordered food other day using just eat. Now I M trying give feedback and their system refuse to accept low feedback. That's why I am putting my review here. I ordered lamb curry Bhunna. What they call is lamb curry bhuna! It was definitely not lamb Cury it was in fact beef. Someone like me can never be fooled by telling a beef as lamb. Or if it was not beef the it could be Mature Goat Meet. And it's not even properly soft. All in all very poor quality food by misleading customers.

Tastes really bad. I ordered some tofu noodles with chow mein vegetables and black bean sauce. Cost me around £10 which is too expensive. I don’t like the fact that this is really tasteless and raw however I have to finish it because I don’t want any food to go to waste or my money. Otherwise in the long run I’m not coming back.

Ordered a chicken curry from this place and believe me it smells disgusting and i threw away all the food I bought.

Great place for a late night eat. Biriyani is great here and relaxed atmosphere.

We generally order takeaway from here for the past 15 years. Over the years the chicken karahi dish has changed - it was much better before. I would highly recommend the kheer and the chicken chow mein is good too.

Last time i ate Chinese or Indian food here i was violently vomiting it out, i hardly vomit which says a lot about this place.

Finally tried their kebab roll since this place was recommended. I'd say it was 6 out of 10. The kebab was reheated on a microwave and dry. I'd say when a customer is eating in then the least they can do is cook a fresh kebab.
