Mega Kebab in Broxbourne

Absolute disgusting service!!! Can’t get an order right, and then have to wait 40mins for them to correct it!!! Absolutely piss poor!

Ordered dinner on line. Selected mixed kebab and rice and a chicken kebab and rice. When it arrived there was 2 chicken and rice kebabs. I emailed them to complain but no reply

I have used this establishment for about 15 years, mainly for delivery. I can’t tell you how many times I have had missing dishes that I have paid for. Every time I call to inform them that we are missing an element of the meal I get an apology and I’m told it will be dispatched, (delivered once the meal is over) and asked to tell staff the next time we order we will look after you. In fairness I have never reminded them how they always seem to forget stuff when ordering as I hope it will improve, today is genuinely the last time, my rice was missing from the order and about 30 mins after the main order arrived my rice was delivered which I had paid for with the original order, a complementary small tub of dip was given as compensation for having half a meal. That’s it for me folks.

We have been using mega kebab for over six years now and I wouldn't use any other kebab shop, service fantastic delivery always in specified time frame and the food is lovely, cooked to perfection every time and the salad is plentiful and fresh. I would highly recommend you give it a try and I don't think you will be disappointed!

My family and I have ordered from various kebab places in Cheshunt but Mega is definitely the best. The meat is great quality and everything is always cooked to perfection. The chips could do with being a little bit crispier - chip shop style chips would be even better! Other than that, I'd definitely recommend x

Love their food. Used this establishment several times but leaving a review due to consistent high quality food. Lamb chops deeeeelicious. I've had takeaway during Covid and been disappointed. Not here. Hot and fresh. Keep up the good service guys

Firstly this is the best Turkish kebab takeaway in cheshunt. That’s where my loyalty ends. Over the last year I have been using the MCC app. When ordering a meal you will be hit with a .50p service charge for using the app even though it’s you placing the order through there app! (Doing there job)Would be interesting to see if this fee is applied if making a telephone order????Not only that but you will then be charged £1 for delivery. I have had this when even ordering deliveries over £40. This will not show up on app until your about to place your order. Not Sounding like a tight git but all other takeaways in the area only charge a delivery fee if the order is £12ish or less!What I find a total piss take is the sign outside the restaurant which states “Free Delivery”!!Trading Standards comes to mind!!!

Well what can I say, this is far the best kebab takeaway in Hertfordshire. Staff are friendly food is great and prices are reasonable too. If you have heard of best Turkish Kebab in Stoke Newington in London who is renowned for its döner kebab, the döner at Mega is as of the same quality and taste and have to say 2nd in line for the best tasting döner. I am now a regular customer.

Picked up a take away and couldn't believe the poor standards of hygiene. Staff picking their nose whilst handling food..! They are also very rude for what is certainly NOT the best kebab in Cheshunt, by far. There's much better locally.

Food is good. Good portions, good taste, good price. Regularly use them and always bear in mind delivery is usually circa one hour. Only negative is they often forget one item e.g. garlic sauce, chilli etc. But not the end of the world. Mega kebab special truly is what it says, never disappoints.

Mega kebabs do an amazing kebab. They really do fill out the pitta breads. The coleslaw is beautiful and one of few kebab shops that still provide it. Only had kebabs but they do offer other items.

Ordered a take away from here and had the large chicken shish wrap and lamb kofte. Arrived in the stated time and food was delicious. Could have been a bit warmer but overall really nice and big portions!

Ordered my food at 7.00 on a Friday night giving it a hour as its busy I phoned them a hour and 15mins later and they told me the driver was on its way phoned again half hour later to be told the driver had a accident and had to come back said they was making a fresh batch and sending it back out over half hour later still no kebab phoned them again and was told its on its way turnt up at 9:15

Never done a review in my life. Never been interested in doing a review. Food is good. But... most rude people ive ever met. "What u want" "just wait" "im to busy"... Clearly cant cope with how busy they are

Best quality kebabs in town, Mega or Cheshunt specials are fantastic value for money with a tray of quality selection of meats. Never had a bad meal. Can be a slight delay during busy times but friendly team of guys.

It’s a shame that when ever I order from the establishment, my food is always very late. Double the time that they quote. Never apologise, I’m not sure why we order from here......never again, if you like waiting for food then order from here.

Ordered a take away, took nearly 2 hrs to arrive, wasn't even hot. Staff continually lied about delivery times when we phoned up to check on our 45 mins delivery! Wasn't cheap, food luke warm at best and rude dishonest staff! AVOID

time after time they have delivered a meal which wasn't what we ordered. and this time was to far. 3 chicken shishks. none of which had the right sauce or salad and came cold, one of them had so much burger sauce on it it was drowned in sauce to the point i want to throw it back at the shop. you expect when saying for a full family order they could get it right once! disappointed beyond belief but beggars can't be choosers when theres f all to choose from in chestnut, kebabs in enfield are cooked a lot better! over priced to for a poor service.

In all honesty the food ain't bad... , but after phoning for a delivery they got our order wrong 3 times in a row, not minor mistakes either, as well as it being stone cold. there's an open market out there and many kebab shops in the area so in future i will take my business elsewhere.

I have being a loyal customer for over many years and the staff are pleasant all the time and delicious kebabs ! Highly recommend this place to everyone around the area.

2 weeks ago i ordered a delivery from them and when it arrived 2 things were missing so we then Called Mega Kebab to tell them and there answer was we can not send someone back but next time we will discount you so after kicking up a fuss i agreed with it as i was not going to get my food at that time ,

This is the best takeaway kebab shop I have found, the food never disappoints always tasty easy to order rather online or on the phone very polite staff, and it comes in the time frame they say. I'm a regular customer.

I have been using Mega for more years that I care to admit but it is in excess of 10 years. I have ordered food as a walk in customer, telephone customer and today for the first time as an online customer. (Telephone and online being for delivery).I have never ever been disappointed in the quality of the food and have sampled many of the items on the menu. Would agree that prices have gone up but takeaways have to make a decision to either put prices up or supply smaller size portions at the same price either way they get complaints.Back to my review based on my meal today. The quality was excellent, The price was comparable to other takeaways, the online ordering was easy and unlike other establishments you are given the choice of paying by card immediately or by cash when delivered. You get an email detailing every component of your meal and confirmation of cost. You can opt for a time delivery service.My only problem today was that delivery time. As we were going out for the afternoon I thought I would preorder to have the meal delivered at 4:45 pm and thought no more of it until just before I was about to leave the house at 1:20 pm my door bell rang and yes you have guessed it, the meal arrived early but only by 3.5 hours. The delivery driver when shown the email confirmation apologised and said without hesitation I'll bring you back a freshly cooked meal at the correct time. On phoning the shop to inform them they agreed they had made a mistake and reiterated that a freshly cooked meal would be delivered at the correct time.So apart from the early delivery the meal was excellent, flavoursome and hot. The driver was excellent and courteous.I certainly will continue to use Mega as my preferred kebab shop in Cheshunt for as long as I can.

Literally never disappointed been going here for over 15 years, lovely food fresh and tasty and great price salad is lovely to, large menus and great family deal options.

Went here today and ordered a Mega Special and wow! £14 with meats rice salad and 2 types of bread! So much food and we ordered chips! Can't fault at all and 2 of us were mega full after we ate it! Highly recommend

We have had a number of bad experiences with this service. We decided to try again as we wanted a quick meal. We ordered one quarter pounder with onions and one kebab with chips. It was priced at £13.10 which was good value. Food was hot and came as requested. Very happy.

Don't call them during peak times 6-8 they're mia difficult to get hold of. Foor is great though. Delivery times are nonexistence it's like "we will deliver when WE feel like it"

We ordered our food at 6:30, it didn't arrive til 8:00 with a £17 meal missing along with a bottle of Diet Coke we rang them at 8 and they said we are priority and food will be with us as quick as possible after waiting an hour and the food still not arriving we rang them again and the employee who answered the phone was very rude and told us the driver has left and should be there any minute and he didnt arrive until another 35 minutes after that and also still forgot the bottle of Diet Coke. Would never order from here again.

I explained that the app allows this and they didn't mention this last week when I ordered. Unfortunately they continued to be quite direct in telling me I shouldn't have placed a collection order. I found this quite odd as they accepted my order... Obviously this is the last time I order from them.

Mega kebabs if one of very few kebab takeaways which is very clean, and this transpires into their food. I live in cheshunt and have recently started ordering since the last few months, have to say they do the best kebabs in the area.

The quality of the meat seemed cheaper, hard bits in it. Not nice to find. The seasoning was poor. I liked the way they used to give lots of salad including a nice amount of coleslaw. This time, not much salad and a tiny amount of coleslaw. It's a shame, seems like a lot of places are using cheaper quality meat and cutting corners. Mega maybe doing this. I'll get my kofte somewhere else now.

Almost 2 hours wait. Stuff missing from order, cold and awful. Avoid and go somewhere else!

Ate here a few times and really can't complain! Had a nice takeaway each time and we will be back :)) food fresh cooked and put together in front of you and large portions! We've enjoyed :)

We have ordered from mega on a regular basis! However lately every time we order there has been food missing! It also takes 90 minutes to be delivered. Food is lovely which is why we keep trying them again but after having items missing again I will not order again. USA or Lavas for us from now on. Just a note the guy who takes the orders said they would deliver the missing food but would not be for half hour!!! I said I would rather have the money back! Hour later we still have no money back for our missing items!

I had requested a delivery time for 6.30pm due to family arriving home then, food turned up 2hrs early when I told driver it was to early he replied with I'm just the driver and I hadn't requested a time!! So when my family returned home the food was cold and not fit for consumption, this is the second time this has now happened, so will not be using this establishment again.

I ordered over the phone to a women that doesn't understand a word of english. I had to spell everything out to her so 20 minutes just ordering. I then waited over an hour for cold meat and wet bread to be delivered. No salad or sauces like asked. Will never order again

Spent over £40 no salad with any kebabs called them up to say and they refused to send them out been a customer for 10 years but never again awful!!!!

Turned up late and without drink. When I requested drink and was told it would be 10mins, it took 2 phone calls and 45 minutes after the already late meal arrived for the bottle to turn up. Ordering from here never is straight forward but I gave the chance of having the order come through just eat instead of me trying to explain what I wanted over the phone but they still somehow manage to screw it up

Have been ordering from this place for a while and every time, where do you live? Despite having the postcode and being the only house around, a clue is in the title stated on the delivery address. In short; I will be dubious into ordering again unless stranded upon a newly discovered planet, you know the one like in Interstellar where they save Matt Damon, yeah that sort of planet. Probably find that knowing my luck.

The food is great. The venue looks clean. They took 1hr50mins to deliver (on a Saturday night). I had to call them and remind them of the order as they forgot.

I ordered at 20:20 ish, and I was told the takeaway would be here by 21:10. It got to quarter to ten so I phoned up and the lady on the other side said it would be about 5 minutes. At quarter past ten there was no food still, and I was about to phone up, however it came at 20 past. The food was absolutely lovely though so I can't complain about that. What was suspicious though was that the takeaway is only 5 minutes away and the food was still hot when it got to me. I really liked the food so I would order from there again if the delivery time wasn't so long

Called after an hour of ordering and they said it was on its way to then 20mins later call to say that they only just received the order even though I got an email saying they accepted the order, he told me would be 15 mins and it took another hour... Very poor service!!
