Great local kebab house. Lamb shish is always great and try the halloumi wrap for a tasty veggie option. Everything comes with loads of very fresh tasting salad. Highly recommended.

any good reviews about this place are 100% fake. Staff couldnt of been ruder, food is not only terrible but makes you feel sick after. Fellas working there should find different work where they dont have to talk to customers coz theyre awful. Place is filthy and u can taste the dirt of the place off the food. Terribly overpriced as well

🤬Hungercure Kebabs Waltham Cross 🤬 So last night we ordered 2 kebabs and chips and unfortunately when it arrived the combination was wrong and the chips where under cooked (I won’t complain about the hour wait time as I appreciate they could be busy) So upon calling the owner said not to eat them and he will bring the correct ones. They arrived in 10 mins . When I explained to him at my door I was disappointed (been eating there for years ) he got very defensive and angry checking the food at my door. What I then didn’t know to this morning is he threw the food outside my house as he left! Rude! Never ever will you receive another penny from this family or friends as I will spread the word

Staff are rude, food is over priced and tasteless and if delivered is either wrong or cold. You’d be better suited eating the money then food from hunger cure

We just had a really lovely meal delivered. I had a large chicken shish which was perfect and my wife had a pie and chips - She said it was really good . The chips are proper chips and always great … our food was delivered very quickly, piping hot and every bite was delicious.

Horrible experience! Worst kebab ever ! Food uncooked and the old guy so rude and mean! Who on earth you want your customers to come in if you selling such bad food! My daughter had a bit of food and than he started to vomit and had severe tummy pain! Waste of money and time too! Do not recommend this place at all go in Walthm Cross on high street and will find better places ! If I could I would have give 0 stars!

Went in there the staff were extremely blunt I greeted the staff with a hi how are you and the response was what do you want .. I ordered what I wanted and corrected the chips to two large chips instead of regular and the man said calm down there’s no rush .. horrible communication skills. Got home and have my son his savaloy and he always breaks the ends off to eat it and luckily he did because the inside of the savaloy was completely uncooked and. Stone cold in the middle. I spend £18 In there and everything ended up in the bin wouldn’t recommend !!

We have enjoyed their food since it opened. Even with new management, they don't let you down, and even the delivery chap is very polite and pleasant.

I asked if they had chips since I fancied a kebab and chips but the guys behind the counter was so sarcastic and said they only had old chips from the day before. Not the kind of response you'd be expecting so I went to the next kebab shop on that same road and service was much better and seating and atmosphere was much better too. Hunger problem solved.

I ordered a portion of chips, ketchup and mayo. I was charged £3.80. The ketchup and mayo were not branded. Chips are oily. Service was weird as both guys spoke to themselves when I questioned how just chips was almost 4 pound

The food is okay but they are the most miserable people I have ever come across, customer service is none existent and so tight charging 20p as I wanted salad separate. Tonight you lost a customer of 10 years plus.

Great chips and haddock tastes lovely. The staff are very friendly and provide a great portion of food for a takeaway.

Ordered online 3 kebabs, 2 arrived with no salad at all. Shop claimed I said no salad, totally wrong! Asked for 2 salads to be sent ,refused!! Won't be using you again, absolute mickey take, overcharged & upsetting a long standing customer.

Ordered for the first time ever I can tell it will be the last. Ordered large mix doner and medium chips. Lamb doner meat was like boiled beef and was not fresh at all. Chicken doner had no taste and was dry.chips was and like cardboard. All of the food was cold and not fresh overall. It all looked like it was left over from the night before and theyve sent it to me the next day.will avoid this shop in the future. Would rather stay hungry and not order from this shop.

Went here since a kid. I asked why are chips so expensive now? Its only potato's and oil, the silly short guy told me well go to KFC and see how much you pay. I told him KFC don't sell chips, they sell fries, totally different, and bedsides that, KFC spend millions upon millions of pounds for Advertising and Merchandising. I've never seen a HungerCure Advert on TV, a bus stop, a newspaper, an app, a train, in another country. Nothing!!!!! The chips he gave me were rock hard, I said there not cooked, he said "Thats how there supposed to be" hahahahaha Mate I'm British, been eating fish and chips my whole life, DONT TRY AND MUG ME OFF... Go SEAWAYS for banging chips.

Ordered a large cod and small chips as well as a small doner meat and chilli sauce yet deliver and doner meat and chips with no sauce

My daughter and her boyfriend visited here on saturday night ( 22nd April) , one had chicken kebab and the other lamb kebab and both ended up with food poisoning. sickness sunday and felt just as bad monday morning...not impressed so suggest some hygiene measures are undertaken

I used to come here once a week but have since stopped due to the attitude of some of the staff. I got berated one evening for wanting to pay by card (which they do accept) He told me I knew they liked cash and I should have got some cash out to pay for the food..I just drove 250 miles home after going to a friend's funeral and didn't have time to stop .I was furious but I stupidly decided to order from here again...this time for delivery. They messed up the order and when my wife called to ask for them to send out the missing items the gentleman likely the same gut was beyond rude to her and refused to help. The food is good, but the service is shocking. You're a pain if you want to pay by card and you better hope they never mess your order up as they won't sort it out. Check my review history to see I rarely give negative reviews, but this is justified.

Great choice of kebabs, burgers and fish and chips always well cooked, with proper chips (not frozen fries). This makes hungercure a great choice for groups that maybe want different foods. The best takeaway in waltham Cross

Ordered for first time was not a fan food cold, didn't taste very nice decided to give another go to see if any better and was just the same. For the money just wasn't great quality, cold again chicken doner was not nice at all and didn't get everything I asked for. Will not be giving it a third chance.

Main was cold, didn't include what I asked for (again), and hair in the kebab! Phoned through to resolve and just got attitude and told to bring it back to the shop. Poor customer service. Will never use again which is a shame as local. Wouldn't even give it a 1 star on the customer service but if you don't unable to post.

best takeaway we have had in a long time.we ordered on line very easily with a delivery slot.which turned up right on time.there is a very wide menu and a very resonable price.the food was delicious and piping hot.will definitely be ordering from them again.

Clean chippy cod n chips good portion very tasty

I ordered through the phone, specifying I want fish and small chips. When I got there he put more chips overcharging me. When I asked about the price he became very rude with me, saying I didn t mention and that when I saw the chips I was happy but when I had to pay I wasn t happy. He kept on going, literally having a go at me, I told him I am not going to come back again because of his attitude and he said: don t come back ! This is an older turkish man who own the business. Terrible behaviour, such a bad service and approach to a lady who was a regular customer !

We have ordered from hunger cure about a dozen times and have always been very happy with the service and food . I found the large Haddock was exceptional both times I’ve had it - huge and crispy, cooked to perfection... the chips are always amazing as are the chicken shish and burgers. The staff have always been very polite to me

We have always used this kebab shop every Saturday evening and so does our Foster Son, he always eats later than us, but today we all decided to all go together. I noticed that they gave him his food in a polystyrene container which they have never done before. I simply asked {not rudely] why his food was in a container. The manager replied I can do what ever I want to do as he was the manager!! he was very very rude, we cancelled our food and left. I have since read other reviews on there customer service but to be honest I don't think the manger gives a toss. That's the last time we ever go in there

Just had a delivery from this shop. Chips like rubber, pie like rubber and had obviously been put in the microwave, battered sausage and fish was so greasy it made kitchen roll yellow and none of it was hot. We did complain and the 1st person we spoke to was very rude and the second offered replacement chips and sausage! After originally waiting for an hour we.declined. We won't be going back.

My partner called and they said "the next time you order we will sort it then because we are to busy to deliver again" I called back and said they should refund the money or deliver the remainder of the order that we already paid for? They said they wouldn't give a refund, so after an hour delivered the remainder of the order. I was then told by the driver to never call the shop again. The food was cold when delivered as well. I ended up putting the remainder of the order in the bin because I did not trust what they did to the food. We were made to feel we were in the wrong because we wanted what we paid for.

Been going to Hungercure for years without problem. I ask the manager a simple question and he was aggressive by telling me he can do what ever he wants very rude cancelled my order and left

I have ordered a extra large chicken shish with salad and no onion, and chips with salad in pitta bread for collection. Once picked the order and got in home, there was no salad in chicken shish at all! Phoned them up saying I did not get a salad with my chicken, the man started laughing at me, not even checking order and said there was no salad on my order! Complete ignorant. Chicken very dried.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! My family and I have been regulars at this establishment for over 15 years which shows how honest this review is. Made an order for collection and once picked up it was freezing cold. Contacted the kebab shop to question the quality of food which resulted in myself being shouted at my the staff very aggressively!! They had refused to provide me with hot food as a replacement and resulted in having to drive back to the shop to get cash in hand refund as well as further being harassed by the owner. I’m so appalled by this business’s behaviour and would like to warn other potential customers away from such a poor establishment. Money is spent elsewhere as well as your time and integrity!!

We used to love this place. Last year it goes from bad to worse each time. Poor food quality, the chicken they serve its not chicken but rubber. Sometimes it was cold and we have to reheat it again to be eatable. Don't bother to order from them. It just doesn't worth it. There are other kebab shops in the area that you can spend your money to have some proper food.

Bad customer service! Ordered online, went to collect and our car broke down. Phoned them and politely explained the situation, said I was happy to pay for delivery instead. The man on the phone started swearing at me and abusing me down the phone. Definitely wont be going back there. Been ordering from them for a few months now but after this incident they have lost me as a customer. Disrespectful and very unprofessional!
