Medi's BBQ in Enfield

The decor and the welcome was wonderful. But the main highlight: the food and service!! I had a chicken shish to eat in. The utensils were very clean, the appearance of the food wonderful and the lady serving very friendly. I began to eat to a wonderful experience. I can strongly say that I have NEVER had a more soft and juice chicken shish in my life! The meat was so tender and delicious! Im pretty sure everything else they have must be just as delicious, cos im sure everyone knows how hard it is to get a chicken breast to become succulent regardless of how its marinated! Great thanks to the chef!

Visited this place multiple times when it first opened and still do on occasions, but often will be my go-to takeaway for a delivery/ cheat day. Owners are really friendly and accommodating. The food is rich in flavours. I often order the lamb souvla, which i would say isn't traditional in terms of cut but nevertheless never has disappointed with tremendous flavour and portion size. Burgers are lovely, as are all the kebabs and sides I have tried. Service is second to none and prices more than fair. Highly recommend over flames. it's not even a question

This is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to. I can't recommend it enough. Appetising meals; such friendly, hospitable staff; and pleasant surroundings. I would definitely come here again. Full marks awarded!

Small lamb shish had 5 small pieces of lamb with no salad smothered in garlic sauce-a sad looking price of meat & bread all for nearly £13.00- Absolute bargain!!!!!

Best Mixed Doner in the area, I tried many... but this one it's the best I ever had. I recommend 👌 I would give 7Star's not 5 but there's no option for 7😁👍👍👍

We got a mixed plate on our last day of vacation here and it was amazing. Very friendly staff, the food tasted amazing and the portion for only 35£ was HUGE. Can definitely recommend it to anyone. Really cheap compared to any restaurant we have been here in London 5/5 on everything!

Why have I not found this place before!! Food smells great, prep area looks clean and service was great. Deliver to the Enfield area as well so what’s not to like. Will def use again.

Food was great, the usual weekly spot. The new people still make the same food but not the workers. A young girl at the till had an aggressive and rude attitude not one of the normal previous staff. Felt underwhelmed, other than the service food is nice.

New restaurant, family run, everything cooked fresh with quality ingredients on site. I was able to watch the chef make several of the items from scratch. The meat is cooked over charcoal which gives it that unique BBQ flavour. Well worth a visit. Fully refitted out with dining area out to the rear, tastefully decorated and kitted out. Garden area to the rear. Table service. Licensed to serve alcohol Takeaway also available. Functions catered for. The service is always faultless. This is the closest experience to being in a family run restaurant in Cyprus but it's here in Enfield . Very friendly helpful and produce great honest food .

Terrible takeaway tonight. It’s been going down hill for sometime. Pitta like rock, forgot to put in 2 salads. The Greek salad was pitiful, basically a salad with 8 squares of feta thrown on the top. £42 I feel like I’ve been robbed. I will never go back. What a shame as it started out so well. I’m giving the 1star for the chips. I’ve never seen such a sad looking pork shish in my life. I could do better at home and I’m not even Greek!

This is the best Cypriot food I have tasted in the Enfield area in the past 30 years! As a Cypriot myself, I can vouch for the authenticity and quality of Medi's food. Succulent meat, sheftalia with just the right mix of mince, onion and fat, home-cooked crispy roast potatoes and chips. Also great value.

Forgot the salad with both kebabs

First time visiting and from reading other reviews was expecting more. Ordered a lamb doner and the meat was all hard and dry, as if it were leftover scrapes. There were no sauces with the meat which made the already dry meat even less moist. Overall disappointing.

If you want traditional Cypriot mix then this is the place for you! The seftalies are the best I've ever had, even better than the ones they make in Cyprus. The pork souvlaki soft and delicious as well

Also Just eat decided to pretend to deliver our food when I spoke to the restraunt it was no trouble, the gentleman on the phone delivered the food himself which I never expected! Had a chicken shish kebab from here today and it was excellent.. only down side for me personally, as ultra fresh as it was found the salad could have been cut finer. But that's my preference apart from that will give it another go..

There is no shortage of Greek / Turkish Kebabs (Souvlaki) in the area but this place stands out. The food is delicious, decent quality and cooked very well. The sheftalies are a favourite, real classic Cypriot flavours to them. Prices are fair and portions are fantastic. Along with Quality they have hit this balance perfectly, please don't change :) !! Always friendly. My new go to. You have yourself a regular.

Best lamb donner and chips Ive ever eaten.

Went as they had fab reviews. Very disappointed, paid £12 for a large chicken kebab in pitta with sauce. Got home to unwrap a chicken wrap which was tasteless, no sauce. I'm assuming they muddled my order with an online delivery order. Shame, but I won't go again. However the venue was spotlessly clean.

Nice little gem this one. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food and it’s a traditional family run kebab house where the people are Turkish Cypriot, so they know their stuff. Have only had the kebabs, which are lovely, can’t comments on any other dishes.

Best Cypriot platter I've had in a long time. I was just visiting family and gutted we don't have anything like this in Southampton 😭

Tasted very fresh and healthy. Pitta, chips and meat all very nice and high quality. The only suggestion I would make is to put salad in a seperate container so meat don't get cold and pitta does not get soggy during delivery.

Very friendly service with great food too. The Kofte was juicy and very tasty. All the dishes were perfectly cooked with complementary hummus too. Thank you Will definitely come again.

Just finished another fantastic meal from Medi's. Have regularly eaten from here since they opened and always extremely impressed. Wonderful menu, always fresh, cooked to perfection, served with a bucket full of passion and obviously deep rooted hospitality. Keep it going and please don't change!

Very happy with their food, it tasted lovely, halloumi was yummy. We did take away & didn’t have to wait too long - Friday lunchtime. The place looks cool - refurbished, seating area inside & outside. Kebab, doner, souvlaki, drinks. Welcome staff. Pay by card or cash. And kids love the Tom & Jerry graffiti outside! Well done.
