The best Halal Breakfast 🍳 in Buckinghamshire it was well worth the journey up to Aylesbury for food and coffee was excellent too luckily I didn’t have anything to eat until after 12noon otherwise this breakfast was too much even for me! lol 😂 anyway must go back to try other dishes out for research & assessment purposes of course.. 😋

They cancelled my order and never refunded me, I then complained to my bank and they said they couldn’t refund because the order was delivered, this is a lie as it was an collection order so how could it have been delivered I am disgusted by this behaviour and it’s clear to see the staff are compulsive liars, id also like to add that when I did eat from this restaurant before the refund incident the food was very soggy the bun looked like it was drowned in water, and the loaded fries were also very soggy quite frankly the food was disgusting and I had to chuck it away which is a very rare thing for me to do. I do hope they fix this behaviour in the future as this should never happen to anyone ever again.

The food is great but the wait time is to long

The food is AMAZING. We stopped here while passing through on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. We tried the chicken strip app, wings, lamb chop special, cheesy bacon fries, and two different burgers. Everything single thing was so tasty!! Stop by and support this local place and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Excellent pricing for good portions of set meals

Friendly service, food arrived in good time. We were the only diners on a Saturday afternoon (around 3pm) which was ideal for us as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids with a pushchair as seating can be a little cosy. Ordered the half chicken which had a tasty sauce and was moist. Chips were good too but a little too greasy for my liking. Salad was fresh and coleslaw was ok. Very generous portions, we were stuffed so fairly priced I would say. Would recommend! :)

Had great food from here before but…………………………………………………………… Order was 40 mins late when we were told 60 mins min wait to start with and the food was cold with undercooked chips still crunchy in the middle. When I called and queried the order no order number was taken from me and I was told my order left 5 mins ago. Not sure how they knew it left 5 mins ago without knowing what I ordered. Not your best work this time!

Visited here for the first time, the wings were delicious. As was the fererro rocher milkshake. The hot dog and burger were OK however the hot dog I ordered the cheese and bacon and came without cheese. Not a huge problem The server was really nice however half way through the manager /owner lady came in telling them what they needed to do and how dusty and dirty certain areas were which was a bit off putting and unprofessional when you're sat eating.

Was recommended this place from a friend and I will be recommending it to more friends! The food to start is just delicious, our meal came to about £18pp, in this meal we had two starters, two mains and drinks. Would highly recommend the lamb special!

The burgers are AMAZING!!!! It was really quiet when we went in there but they were busy with takeaway orders too. That didn't bother me though. All I cared about was the juicy burger and dirty fries that came out! Id had a few pints and needed some food to sort me out. It did not disappoint! Anyone who loves a proper burger, not a mcdonald's, but a proper big, juicy, dripping burger, then go here and get your fill. You will not regret it!

Burger bliss on a rainy day. Heard about this place through family and been meaning to visit for a while now. Must say I am not dissapointed well worth the journey. Portions are nice and big the patty is quality. Nice atmosphere, clean , chef looked smart and presentable which reflects a lot on a business. Desert was really cool apple pie just cause it reminds me of school dinners lol. All in all top of my list in Aylesbury now and will definitely be back with friends.

The atmosphere was great. We went during the lunch time period 12-3pm. The menu had variety, which I liked. The Waitress was warm and friendly. She recommended the Special, as well as my son, because of the flavours. They didn't disappoint. The portion size was manageable. The rice was flavoured well. The salad was garnished with a good dressing. Coleslaw was a good size. The chicken was seasoned VERY well. It came with a drink too. The Owner of Meat'N'Eat came in and spoke to us. He made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. During our visit, he came in a few times and smiled at us. I got the impression he is very hands on and enjoys serving people. That is a plus to me. It demonstrates, to me, his passion for good food and giving the people what they want too. The restaurant area was clean. The tables were swiftly clean when someone left the table. The toilet area was clean and smelt fresh. There is nothing worst, in my opinion, than a toilet that isn't checked on a regular basis. To me, it shows a lack of hygiene from their part and a lack of care for their customers too. I would certainly go back to Meat'N'Eat and recommend it to others. Great place if you want affordable, flavoursome food and good old fashion customer service. Service where the customers are valued.

We had a lovely late lunch. A really tasty burger with fresh salad, chunky pieces of dill pickle and a good serving of homemade fries, and a halloumi and rice dish with homemade coleslaw, salad and a tasty dressing.

Don't live locally, walked past and very glad we went in. Was very welcoming and friendly. The kids enjoyed their time and the staff was very interactive with them,even the children mentioned how lovely they all was. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes,presentation was perfect also.Will definitely be coming back🙂

Was in Aylesbury for the day and came across this place. It was perfect £7.95 for lunch deal main,chips and drink. The young lady serving behind the till was so lovely. Atmosphere was really calm as well not overly full or to empty. Food- Servings are large, burgers you can taste how fresh everything is the burgers were so juicy not one bit of dryness, fries are so nice and fresh lovely selection of fizzy drinks to choose from. I really enjoy eating out and visiting different restaurants, by far this is the best burger spot I've been too. Would 100% recommend eating here.

We have eaten at this restaurant on a number of occasions however we have be a more regular customer on the delivery options through uber. Never been disappointed with any of the food we have eaten, either at the restaurant or from a delivery. Our favourite meals to have are the spicy chicken and rice box with salad. Our second favourite is the steak and salad!

TERRIBLE FOOD!! I’ve resisted getting food from here due to the pictures of food, my wife wanted us to go during a sunday stroll. Firstly i gotta say the lady who served us was really unwelcoming, not the best vibe. The food was a joke. In short the food is basically indian! I couldn’t believe it. The chicken strips look like breaded wings which were clearly made in an air fryer (if u have one u can tell instantly) whats worse is the description says chipotle butter milk but its clearly tastes like tika masala/tandori chicken. Dont get me on the philly cheese stake n messy fries (pictured) the “sirloin strips” were drenched in tika masala!! the food was cold and cheesesteak served with a ciabata bun!! both myself and my wife couldn’t finish our dishes as we just had to accept this was a lost cause. If you gonna have indian seasoning at least clearly say, don’t think the public aren’t aware of your sneaky tactics.

Hot, fresh food and huge portions would reccomend

Waste of money. I bought a classic Hot Dog, it was not a hot dog and they served me with a small sausage. When I told them, they said we are aware of the issue but our supplier did this mistake and we are now serving it and they did not accept to change my order or refund my money.

Restaurant resolved an issue I had very promptly, excellent customer service. Food was delicious as always, I cannot recommend this takeaway enough.

I have been three times now. First time i had the chops with a side salad, homemade coleslaw and chips, it was good. The second time I went I had the half chicken and some BBQ wings. I dont like ungrilled/unfried chicken skin so didnt particularly enjoy my second meal. Went a 3rd time and had the grilled chicken with spicy rice and salad. Really enjoyed this and will defo order again so ive increased the rating from 3 to 4 stars.

What a brilliant place to find. Had a really lovely meal here with my husband and youngest. We had a very warm welcome and great service and the food was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be going back again. Scrummy!

The food is amazing and big portions. Price is really good too. The milkshakes were great, had to go for seconds. It has a 'pub' environment, which is nice, but not ideal if you're looking for a quite place as staff's children running in and out of the restaurant. Otherwise perfect and very nice, would definitely go again.

The food is fantastic! The people that work there are super friendly and the home made BBQ sauce is a must try.

We loved our first time there, burgers were on the spot, took a bit long to be prepared but we didn’t mind that. Second and third time on the other hand (and also a couple of deliveries in between), we were let down a bit, burgers were burnt to some degree. The reason I didn’t give it lower stars was because of our first very nice experience. Let’s hope next time we have a better experience and I can change it to 5 stars ! So we got back to Meat’N eat day before yesterday as we were out for some shopping. And we liked our burgers more this time. So I’ll change my ratings again Details - BBQ stack burger and Sombrero burger were nice. I guess chicken slider must’ve been nice too as our little one finished it. Messy fries were well prepared but truffle fries disappointed a lot. Nachos with jerk chicken were not bad, not much special either👌

Used to be my go-to place but gone downhill…. The Good: cafe style seating / decor and the chips are pretty good. The Bad: older waitress / server that does not understand social distancing or how to make mojitos (made a frothy milky soapy drink loaded with syrup impossible to drink) and the burger had a large slab of white lettuce (the part you normally throw away) that made the whole burger slip off, but the deconstructed burger was OK.

Nice cafe but had run out of what I wanted so sat outside with a can off sprite. The lady very busy I think she was on her own.

Order never arrived - I have gone via Deliveroo and ask for a refund - they told me to contact the restaurant - they told me to just call Deliveroo and could not care less that they have taken my money and given no expiation why. I will never order from they again and will tell others to be very carful when ordering - I want my money back ASAP

If I could give a Minus star review I would. Terrible customer service and was left waiting for the order for 3 hours only for it to be in edible.

The food was delicious, we had the steak burrito and mushroom burger. Chips were also very good. Delivery was okay, a little slow but the food arrived hot so not too bothered. Milkshakes were a let down sadly, looking at other reviews looks like we were just unlucky with these. Not sure if the milk was off or far too much syrup was added, either way did not taste good.

For a long time we have been searching for a place like this, in my opinion the best Burgers available from a take away in Aylesbury, all round great food ( the bits we have tried) friendly staff , great service and good prices.

Continously late when ordering through Just Eat / Deliveroo, waiting up to 2 hours plus, at which point I've given up and gone elsewhere, phone line is unresponsive as they'll take the phone off the hook to avoid contact with people. Food is nice, but it never gets to you.
