Wonderful little gem in the heart of Peterborough. We had paninis with a salad and tea and Turkish coffee. Beautiful shop to look around whilst waiting for food. Special gifts and homeware galore. Food was lovely, a bit more salad would have been nice.

What a beautiful little cafe! Situated in the middle of the town, this place is a little oasis to sit and have a cuppa and a snack. The staff are all lovely and the atmosphere and decor is just gorgeous. Unfortunately it was a little rainy, but if I had not been accompanied by my dad I would have sat in the garden area or patio which was delightful. My only suggestion would be, the toilet has a latch and an inside hook, so it is hard to tell if it is in use. I interrupted a woman, and then another customer interrupted me. A small engaged sign on the outside might be helpful to avoid this. I can’t wait to take my daughter in law who will absolutely love it.

Lovely surroundings, seated area among lovely items of jewellery, light fittings and various ornaments. All beautifully presented. Right away once we sat down we felt relaxed and comfortable. Service was excellent. I had a jacket potato and my husband chose a ham sandwich. Both were delicious and served with salad and trimmings. Coffee was also delicious . Wish we lived closer as we would definitely return!

I liked this cafe very much. The standard of the both food and coffee was extremely high, especially the former. Falafel wrap was very well packed with flavoursome stuff: falafel (obviously), hummus, beetroot, jalopena peppers, feta. Partner’s smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel came with crisps & dressed salad. It was much enjoyed. Cannoli with my latte (first class; double shot, great foam & presentation) was gorgeous. The cafe definitely has a Turkish vibe but if that’s not your thing there was much of your standard British cafe fare on offer. Service was first rate; the owner was a very pleasant fellow. Shane I don’t go to Peterborough on a regular basis!

We had a lovely coffee/tea, vegan friendly too and lovely crockery. My friend visiting from Surrey spotted a mirror she liked as there is lots of various unique jewellery and household paraphernalia around to purchase too, and a month later she called me to go back and get it, to bring when I visited - the staff in the shop were very friendly and helpful - holding the mirror back for me a couple of days until I could go back and pay/collect.

We had to visit the Passport Office in Peterborough today and looked for somewhere nearby to have coffee before our journey home. We called in MD’s and they made us feel very welcome even though we were only having drinks and a cookie. The coffee was excellent, the venue was clean and attractive with its unusual display of hanging lanterns, and the staff were all friendly. I live in Peterborough but have only just discovered this cafe today and was so inspired by it, I had to write my first review for trip advisor! I am so sick of the sea of chain stores in the city but this cafe really made my day. It has so many drink options - a fantastic range of tea, coffees and juices (I had the carrot) and smoothies, better than anywhere else I've found in the city. Prices are pretty good especially for the paninis and wraps and other food options. The staff were all helpful and friendly and there was some beautiful things for sale (jewelry and homeware) to look at whilst being served. I would strongly recommend this little cafe and now that I have found it, am unlikely to be going anywhere else!

Excellent little coffee house (discovered on google / trip advisor) very conveniently located just over a mile off the A47 Peterborough Road. We were travelling with friends from Nottingham to Norfolk so this was a very suitable half way stop. Very clean well decorated premises - very welcoming & friendly staff. Excellent choice of snacks / sandwiches (freshly prepared for you) and wonderful cakes. Interesting quirky lamp shades - upside down teacups and saucers! Highly recommended (so much so we stopped there on the way home too!) ps Don't judge a book by it's cover aka don't be put off by the fenced off rough ground adjacent to the coffee house! TheCoffee House offerings are very good indeed.
