MD COFFEE in Peterborough

I've been there a few times great atmosphere beautiful items for sale...but really the Sandwiches and cake need to be more inviting

Another delightful visit to MD’s in Peterborough. I treated my mum and partner to afternoon tea and was greeted by a lovely, chatty lady who was so welcoming. The food and drink was excellent and the surroundings are so pretty. I recommend this place to all my friends.

First time coming here with my husband and was not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and a great looking coffee shop. Not only is it a coffee shop it also houses home decor items which you can purchase and are beautiful. The food was lovely and the coffee was good too. The staff were friendly too. Has lovely outdoor seating as well. Will definitely be coming here again.

This coffee shop has a great atmosphere. It also has a nice rear patio area. The panini I had was well filled and toasted well. I appreciated being given a saucer to put the teabag on after I had taken it out of the mug .

Cafe and shop. It closes at 5.30. It has an interior patio. Very friendly waiters.

On my last day in Peterborough I ventured into MD Coffee. They have lovely bespoke items. I had a mocha and a cannoli. Good way to end the day and find some jewelry for my wife.

Whenever I order something it takes them forever to do it either I ask before how long will it take. Food is nice but a waiting time should be improved.... always some excuses

Very chilled environment to meet. Hot chocolate was very frothy and not too sweet.

Met a friend for lunch. A lovely place, very clean, staff friendly. They have lots of nik naks and bits and pieces you can buy. A very interesting place to have lunch. Lots of food on offer but a little confusing. I asked for a toasted panini, but there was no list of ingredients to choose from. However, once received was tasty.

Popped in for a Coffee and found a delightful Café with lots of lovely fancy goods and jewellery from Turkey to peruse and purchase

I love this coffee shop, but the last 3 times I've been and I've had food, it just haven't been up to scratch. I normally have jacket potato, the jackets are lovely big n Crispy, but the toppings are the bare minimum. I got about 2 tbsp of Baked beans n a handful of cheese, which is no-where near enough for half. For £5.60 that is quite expensive compared to swivells you get drink & fruit with your jacket. Please supply enough toppings to cover the jacket, thanks and service was a little slow.

Brilliant place for a coffee or something to eat

Strange place. Baguettes are actually soft rolls! No idea what fillings they have, you have to ask at the counter. Wont be back.

Careful what you order here... the tuna baguette was a tiny soft roll at over £4 but the jacket potato looked enormous and far better value for money. Nice service but staff seemed nervous about making a mistake. Slow, which is not a problem but some may want things to be faster

First visit to this lovely little cafe/shop the carrot cake and chocolate orange cake are a must might be the best cakes I've ever eaten. Will definitely be returning soon.

Love this coffee shop friendly staff been going here for a while now, can highly recommend toilet facilities and outdoor seating, lovely sitting in the secret garden, lots of nice items for sale, for garden and inside.

Visiting the city, this was a gem of a discovery for coffee and a bite to eat, recommend the falafel!

My friend and I came here for some afternoon tea and was not disappointed with the choice of cakes, fresh made crustless finger sandwiches with luscious fillings and a mixed salad leaf garnish. Sponge cakes and the 3 generously sized potions of fruited scones with real cream and Raspberry jam topped off this cake stand. Endless tea and coffee is also part of this deal with sugar and sweeteners provided. Service was wonderful and a lady called Debbie served us as did two other male servers and another female. The cafe was immaculately clean but only one down side was the wobbly table, which worried my friend a little as she thought the cake stand would fall. The cafe sell an assortment of Turkish gits and jewellery at reasonable prices. It's lovely that the building has kept it's beautiful vintage exterior and it also has an antique display cabinet from the orignal Jewellery shop which once stood there. WELL WORTH a visit to sit down and take a break from life. Turkish teas and other soft drinks are availible as is a choice of sandwiches and some hot food and cakes a very reasonable prices. Children and easy access for disabled people. (Wheelchair access could be a problem). Very polite and helpful servers couldn't do enough for me and my friend. I will be visiting again. It is a hidden treasure in Peterborough.

I visited MD Coffee for the first time today. Lovely food and drink and very helpful pleasant staff. It was the best jewellers in town, so a trip down memory lane for me! Will definitely be returning.

Great little café and gift shop. Excellent tea, coffee, cakes, sandwiches. Will be my new regular treat.

First time coming in here and I must admit that it was an enjoyable experience, really polite staff and lovely warm coffee. Can’t ask for more than that. I will be back

Newly opened in Westgate. Excellent range of drinks and food. Highly recommend…. especially the cannoli.

The coffee is good but the cheese and ham paninis are not, all you taste is the bread

My family and I came here this morning with my toddler. The coffee was lovely and the staff were very kind. I definitely recommend coming here :)

Your standard cafe coffee & pastry. But if you have an appointment at HM office thinking you grab a coffee & use the toilet here. Forget it. You are better off to Costa at the shopping centre.

What a fab place with amazing food and friendly service. I had the best falafel wrap I've EVER had. Service is great. This place is literally across from the passport office. Wish it was closer to home for me!

So above them self the lady that served us needing us it seemed like she wanted us to do an assessment on her cooking wow I already said thank you i thought the word thank you was active enough with out doing the whole course of a carrot cake assessment of praise I want be coming in again at all our first time well its our last time

Excellent coffee and hot chocolate. It is also somewhat of a gift, arts and crafts shop. We'll worth stopping by if you ate in that area of thr city.

One of my favourite places for coffee and cake, or lunch. The food is wonderful, coffee exceptional, and the dark chocolate and orange cake is delicious. Staff are warm and friendly with an excellent service standard and in a lovely surrounds.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here! Stopped in for a quick coffee, and I was thrilled with the vegan options. I had a delicious vegan falafel wrap, and was offered the choice of 4 different vegan milks to go with my coffee. I went with coconut milk. All in all, very tasty and reasonably priced, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back. 5 stars well earned.

Fantastic little Cafe, with very friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing food and the nicest coffee (I had two Turkish coffees) best coffee I've ever had. Lots of things to buy too from here from amazing Middle eastern lamps, scarves, soaps, etc. Highly recommend a visit.

Friendly staff but the tea was awful and the sausage baguette didn't come in a baguette and was at least £2 overpriced.

What a fantastic place to sit down with friends or family and enjoy a quick snack, sweet or savoury, or some coffee - hot or cold! Great if you want something other than the Costa frappes you have every time. They also have prints, scarves, assorted exotic soaps, decorations, bags, lights (see last photo) for sale, to browse through while you wait. Their food is great, has a homey feel to it. Do ask what other things they serve, as some items may not be advertised, like a quite delicious caramel iced latte. Be sure to try the chocolate orange cake - it’s fantastic! Luckily it’s also halal, good for me and my family. Awesome place to enjoy some quality food and time with family.

My wife and I had a coffee and a bite to eat in there, it's a nice little coffee shop and the food was good but the staff could cheer up a little bit hence the 4 stars. The girl on the till was lovely though! Maybe just an off day for the other 3

Loved the vibe. Excellent food and service in an interesting independent cafe. Really good value. Objets d'arts available to buy make it a mini-gallery as well. For what it offers as a cafe this place in central Peterborough is hard to beat.

You must visit this cafe if you've just dropped off application at Passport Office. Great cafe with a lovely 'feel' about it. First stint just after dropping off form, back for second coffee of day and a bit of lunch. Will definately call again when visting Peteborough! Nice little coffee shop across the road from the passport office. Stopped in here whilst waiting for a family member. Nice, friendly staff and the coffee is really nice. Very reasonably priced too!
