McMoo's Ice Cream Parlour and Cafe in Falkirk

Don’t usually leave reviews but this cafe was awful, don’t waste your money. I visited yesterday with my mum and my 2 kids, all the food arrived at different times, I had a sweet chilli panini and could tell it was off, had a really bad taste. My daughter had leak and potato soup which arrived at least 5 minutes after the rest of the food, it was boiling hot obviously been in a microwave, she tasted it and said she didn’t like it, my mum then tried to which she was almost sick from the sour off taste of the soup! This soup was clearly days out of date. Disgusting!! When we told the staff they were not interested and didn’t offer any alternative. Not a nice experience at all.

First time discovering this lovely cafe: the staff were friendly and the coffee and cakes delicious. They have a huge range of i e cream and we intend to return for brekkie soon too. It is well worth a visit for coffee, breakfast and lunch or even a snarky Mac and cheese. The ambience is bright and welcoming the loos are lovely

Rude staff. Sat down looked at menu on table (breakfast) went to order and told kitchen is not doing anymore breakfasts even though it was before 12.30

Visited on Sunday with a group of ramblers (including a dog) and were made very welcome. The cakes were absolutely delicious & the service was excellent - prompt and friendly.

Vegan hotdog overcooked and chewy, cheese not melted on panini and cheesecake stale at least a few days old.

Once found, never forgotten. I love this wee cafe. The place is spotless, the staff friendly, it's dog friendly and the ice cream is brilliant. I also love the vast array of ways to enjoy the ice cream. There is hot food too but who needs that when there is ice cream.

Special sundae, ice cream and wafer baskets all delicious - as usual. Huge queue (between films at the Hippodrome silent film festival) but thankfully preordered so served immediately. Great service. Thanks McMoo’s.

A friend and I made an impromptu visit whilst at the cinema (opposite). Staff were pleasant. There was also a good selection of cakes, biscuits and ice creams. Coffee was nice. Would return. Nice interior and clean.

The ice cream etc is very good here, however the only thing that lets this place down is the ignorance of the staff when busy. I have experienced this about 4 times now where the staff don’t even acknowledge that you are there. All I expected was “I will be with you in a moment “ but nothing,,,,

Looked like staff were having a bad day, no hi. Was straight to "sit in or take away" asked to go outside again no please just told to move as we were blocking the entrance which I was aware of not to do. Cones smaller than last visit and no wafer this time either, disappointed as what was meant to be a treat.

Good friendly service, perfect coffee, fantastic range of ice-cream. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Staff are very attentive and great with my 2 year old granddaughter. Highly recommended.

Well called in today with CWA cycle without age, we heard about the cheese cake and we all had one, and was not disappointed well worth a visit, also I noticed dog walkers are welcome plus dog friendly ice cream, not many places offer this, great friendly service and will be back to try the ice cream, and thankyou Christine for picking the bill up.

We enjoyed a pre-ordered breakfast with our 2 year old grandson. The pancakes were good and efficiently served. We were joined by Batman and Spider-Man who put on a great show for the kids, including some games. The visit concluded with some of their excellent ice-cream.

Very impressed with the range of ice creams on offer ,ideal for kids parties . Quite a range of cheesecakes ,cookies ,slushies waffles and pancakes and they do a really good Cappuccino . I will definitely be back next time I am in the area . The cafe opens at 11.00

Having a birthday party with Mcmoos never disappoints. My 5 year old had an amazing time and the little parents corner was such a treat. The staff can never do enough for you and the food is delicious. We will definitely be back!

Had ice-creams on our first visit but were tempted to go back for lunch a week later. We had filled savoury flatbreads with a side salad and sticky toffee pudding to follow. Delicious.

Great to visit McMoos cafe again since the lockdown. We ate delicious home baked cakes and had lovely coffee to wash then down. Service is always so pleasant and efficient. Can’t wait to return.

Excellent coffee, very good cakes and friendly staff. The cafe is very clean and well maintained, and a relaxing place to be, and it was also great to see hygiene standards and social distancing adhered to well. I'll definitely return when in the area again!

Just had a coffee and cake in Mcmoos'. Visit weekly for a take out ice cream which never disappoints. First time sitting inside since lockdown. Clean, friendly, delicious.

Brilliant cafe to spend an afternoon having a cuppa and a natter with a friend. Scones are lovely and as big as a tea plate (huge). Lots of ice-cream treats to choose from. Decor is different with lovely friendly staff, well worth having a visit.
