McDonalds Welwyn Garden City in Welwyn Hatfield

Friendly staff, clean, and quick service. Staff are students, but what do u expect from McDonald’s. They have to deal with young people being abusive coming in and harassing staff, but they are young themselves.

On several occasions now the order has been incorrect, usually something missing like a burger or some chips but they surpassed themselves this time, 2 cheeseburgers with no burgers in either of them. McDonald’s usually prides itself on teamwork but this team does not check its work. Advice: don’t get delivery from Wgc and check your order before you leave!

The establishment closes at 11pm. The doors were locked at 10:45pm when I visited. This has also happened in the morning. They are supposed to open at 6am but were not open on time.

Idiots never get ur right . Order double bacon and I got sausage which was rank. It’s in the order and the receipt how hard can it be

8pm visit after a family evening out on our way home. Where do I start: no receipt from self service till, slow service, lack of attention to detail to food order-missing items, manager had no control of his staff, staff throwing food at one another, possible friends and or staff (not on shift) hanging around at the counter being loud, pulling trousers down, staff generally being unprofessional and treating it like a playground. This is the second time I have visited in the last year and both times have been horrendous. Terrible service.

This is review purely on the ladies lavatory - I can’t get across how disgusting they were on a review. Sticky floor and no tissue paper I can get over but the smell of the sanitary bins was overwhelming and the hand soap dispenser had been pulled off the wall so no one would have washed their hands in there for some time.

Ordered through McDonalds app order: ONFAE never arrived, didn’t even get a call and was marked as delivered. Phoned twice to complain spoke to rude unhelpful people who spoke over me abs wouldn’t let me get a word in. Refund comes in 7-10 days having to order again much later through different app. Delivery driver name - Matthew Alan. Complaining on Uber eats who you use to deliver as-well.

hello, just went skating with my buddies xoxo. i felt really unsatisfactory the lack of pickles in my bacon double cheeseburger. i got NONE. i am SICKENED AND ANGRY THAT I RECEIVED NO PICKLES. not even half of one. under these circumstances i will not be returning. thanks have a lovely day x

Over the last 2-3 years I think I've only been in here once or twice, on each occasion something has gone wrong, whether it was an incorrect drink, apply pie or an extended wait time. I have been on the end of it. could be bad luck, but biting into an apple pie which turned out to be custard almost cost me my life... (I have allergies) A lot of the time there will be a lot of youths hanging around the area which unfortunately lowers the general vibe of the town centre. Suggestions... try somewhere else

Called in for a quick snack and it was just that.iI had a big mac meal.wheni bite into the burger sauce went everywhere salad fell out all over the table chips were cold not impressed with this restaurant.

Sub standard Mc Donalds. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Ladies toilets were filthy and all blocked up.

Recently modernised branch offers the same standard of menu as all the others. The service is better since the high tech ordering machines have been installed but you can still order ate the counter while others are wandering through the digital menu on the terminals. Additional seating with room for pafrtoes is usually available upstairs.

I wouldn't venture here without a granddaughter in tow - I need someone who knows how to work the digital ordering system! The service, however, is slick. The prices are reasonable. The burgers are, well, burgers! And the chocolate milkshake is to die for.

Service is all automated and staff are very friendly. The food was hot and kudos to all staff who work tirelessly and friendly during peak times

Recently I treated myself to McDonalds however it was horrific they didn't add a form and knife to my quater pounder this is the type of thing that insults the British public

normal average food what you would expect from a McDonalds nothing out of the ordinary. sometimes you wait for food due to the ticketing system now available

Its McDonalds so not much you can say really. Only thing that lets this place down is you have to try and park to go in so more convenient for shoppers on foot

I took my grandsons for tea before a panto. Time was approximately 6.30pm. The tables, floor and bins full.of rubbish. My grandson slipped in tomato ketchup that was on the floor and was disappointed as were his new trainers. They played on the laptop things which I needed to clean up a little as food marks and bogies clogged up the screen. I ordered and paid for their food on the prepay meter to find no receipts are printed out. I had to confirm at desk the order had been taken and paid for so defeats the object. If I hadn't have paid first I would have taken them to kfc. I should have charged them for my cleaning services too. Disappointed, disgusted. What a let down. If you were busy I would have excused it... but you wasn't.

Rather busy but staff did what they could for everyone, food was great! Would definatly go back again.

Extremely slow service! Not the first time either. Even when just waiting for a drink! Ridiculous. Need to up the staffing.

Siempre lleno de niños pensando que propio grosero del lugar, que es ruidosa, lobbing comida alrededor, insultos y todo tipo. Lo peor es el personal me miran como voy a causar problemas debido a mi edad, aunque comprensible bloody ridículo por la forma en que el negocio se ha convertido. Sin duda evita este lugar durante las vacaciones escolares porque es una llena de niños que parece que aún estamos en la escuela primaria, usando la vía y todo tipo y actuar como gángsteres. Estoy seguro de la JD en la ciudad está haciendo un montón de beneficios! Aún así es un buen lugar para tomar una comida rápida y práctica, aunque las comidas se acortan por el día, pero supongo que eso es sólo McDonalds como un todo. . .

Realmente un mal lugar para comer el personal es grosero y dos veces en una fila mi comida ha sido cruda, ni siquiera alimentar a mi perro lo que cocinar allí.

Yo estaba en Welwyn Garden City shopping y me dije a mi misma McDonalds después de ver el anuncio ya que nueva hamburguesa de variedad era tan bueno, así que fui. Pedí también nuevo Clubhouse Burger de tocino de bacon en pan brioche de estilo. Tengo que decir que era muy buena, muy sabrosa, así que me gustó mucho.

No sé ni por dónde empezar con la reseña de este desastre de lugar. ridículo sistema, personal ordenar que no podría molestar y nos pasábamos (y hablar a un ritmo muy lento). La comida estaba fría, patatas medio lleno un pack, bacon en mi big Mac, el personal permanente o caminar por deambulaba sin rumbo fijo (mucho más personal que los clientes) mal oliente inodoros! Nunca he visto algo así antes- no volveremos a esta rama!

I don't like McDonalds very much so I am going to review it with my kids in mind - they love it, possibly because they don't get to go very often.I had a wrap of the day - it was ok.I ordered using the new high tech touch screen then walked to the front to get the food.Girl wandering around downstairs was very helpful - but asked me 3 times if I needed help ordering from the screen - she seemed surprised when I told her I could manage. It was a bit more complicated than it needs to be and not as straight forward as the same in Holland or the similar systems in KFC.No salads. Not a big surprise I suppose but another reason for me to dislike the place - I would quite happily sit and munch a salad...The order when it arrived was a bit of a joke. The computer said it was ready so the boy brought my food over. 4 things were missing. He then went backwards and forwards carrying the four seperate missing things as they arrived from the kitchen. Not very good.Downstairs was dirty, noisy and very busy as always. We went upstairs and sat in the corner. Much quieter and cleaner.Kids had happy meals - neither like the chips so one had carrot sticks and the other fruit. Both love the nuggets.The toys were from the film we were about to see which was nice.So for the kids it was a roaring success. For me - frankly I'd rather go somewhere that sells nice food rather than this tasteless, processed imitation.

New refurbished restaurant with self-service ordering screens. Love it! Samsung tablets on the tables for a bit more fun while you eat. My little boy really enjoyed.

Only redeemed by a nice lad who took my coffee away. I could not finish it. When I think of all the small businesses that make a huge effort to succeed and provide far better food service and value then I wish McDonalds would all close. Nothing like the adverts of course. I felt like I had eaten a brick for an hour afterwards

Funny thing is we all go there at some point and we all have since school!!! But why? It's like it hasn't changed in years yet the Hatfield one always seems a lot smoother run

I went here tonight. The fries were ok. But that's the only thing I can fault. Good staff fast service. Clean. It was empty due to being a Sunday and it was raining heavy. I'll give regular updates on this mcdonalds as it is my local McD.

Went in for lunch and a drink,used the toilets first to wash my hands,found them looking dirty and the whole place looked grubby and in need of a good clean,we left and went to subway round the corner,very nice.

It was dirty, there was a queue and the less said about those already eating there the better. I didn't eat, I left!

It is hard to describe just how dirty this restaurant was today. There was only one customer sitting down and yet every surface was covered in rubbish, there was food all over the floor and the toilet, well, let's just say it was vile.I pointed out the mess to the manager who replied "yes, I can see that from here."Definitely time for a deep clean!

I've complained to this restaurant 3 times in 10 years. And decided today on Easter Sunday to pop in and get 2 breakfasts quickly. I won't beat around the bush here. It wasn't quick. When I got back my wife thought is driven to the mcdonalds in hatfield 5 miles away. 2 people walked out behind me while I was waiting. My order was forgotton about so I had to remind the girl behind the counter. There was one person in front of me and 2 behind me. The manager was at the back just looking on, not giving a hoot about people walking out. He was not doing anything. The latte was half a cup. When I've complained to them in the past they've given me a £10 voucher. I don't want a voucher! I want my local mcdonalds to have the best service going! It's near a train station so this restaurant needs to speed up as people want to order and go! My title says damaging....that's because this place is damaging the mcdonalds brand name and even mcdonalds don't seem to care. What a shame.

Under pressure from my young nephew, I took my first step inside a McDonalds. The food, or what passes for food, is disgusting. The chips, so I've heard, are not even made from real potato. You could tell! Vile, reheated meat. Only saving grace was that the staff try hard. Whoever started the McDonalds concept of fast, nutritionally worthless food, wants locking up. I'm sure this is what contributed to the start of the obesity epidemic.

Came in for a quick bite to eat, noone seemed to be in charge and people waiting everywhere for various orders. Looked at where the food was being prepared and was greeted with a dirty floor and staff with nasty aprons! Everywhere looked grotty and so I left without food!

Been a few times. Never a disaster (like the Hertford branch). Serves MacD food - so will never be more than 3 star. For what it is - it does it fairly well.Staff always seem fairly polite.

don't go here - don't go to any Mcdonalds - you know you can do better - almost anywhere better - don't give into child pressure give them some real food ... you know it makes sense

Not a bad restaurant for a quick bite to eat, seating upstairs which is handy as not many seats downstairs. Staff can be a little abrupt and grumpy. Clean, although toilets not much so.
