Terrible. Get home to find out order was wrong

Very poor management, never answer phone. Ordered 3 chicken large sandwich meals . Bap is missing in one of them, chips are missing. Happened few times. Very disappointed.

The girl on Monday 18th of march taking order must have been on drugs or just completley brain dead. Got the order wrong countless times and kept asking me to repeat 20 nuggets and got the order wrong anyway. A blind, deaf and dumb squirrel would be a better employee

Absolutely never get our orders right, usually they forget to send the drinks and dips. Tonight we ordered through McDonalds app and left a note saying please send the dips as you’ve forgotten the last 2 times so tonight they sent dips but didn’t bother to send my BURGER! I will never order from these morons again. You work in McDonalds for gods sake you have one job, get the order out on time and complete. Also the food we were lucky to get (chips and chicken nuggets) were packed in with 2 bottles of freezing cold water so the food had to be reheated in the oven. I swear they do it purposely. Impossible to get through on the phone too as they are to busy being morons..

Horrible! Had to wait for a good 30 minutes just for a cheeseburger meal only to discover that they had got it wrong once again. I asked them to fix it and was waiting for about 15 minutes and never received my order. Is this how the workers do their jobs? Ridiculous! Just go to the subway across the road, much better and quick service. 1/10!

Is there any chance of actually getting someone in this place that can read and pack an order? It's a real lottery if you manage to get a meal out of it. Customer service is terrible. Sort it out

Standard McDonald's grub. But be sure to not use the drive thru as you'll be told to wait in a parking bay or a disabled parking space even if you don't qualify for it. So what happens when the employees tell a customer to park in a disabled parking bay and they turn out to not be disabled and a customer who does in fact need it, is unable to use due to the employees telling people to do it.

Where to start, service is terrible, most of the staff haven't a clue what they are doing, sitting trying to eat my meal wiht people staring down my throat, fat peoples bums practically sitting on my tabel waiting for their orders. Overall a terrible place and the food is not like any McDonalds I have ever had before. The design and layout of the shop needs a complete make over, the computer order points should be move to the side of the store. The place is just a mess and the owner/Francise owner should be fired.

Always check your order before driving away as had a few mistakes on drive through as again today item missing & traffic is horrendous due to lane closure when I rang to speak to the 'manager'they hung up and didn't answer any other calls- staff need training and customer service is shocking- last £43 they will ever get from me!

I have ordered from this kip more than once. The staff are clearly all illiterate and the management don't care they are thieves don't give them your business. It asks further down what menu item I'd recommend so clearly the uneducated troglodyte that runs this MuckDonnalds deserves to go out of business.

Just ordered a delivery. Missing a full meal.. a drink .. and no chips when the household ordered 5. How do you pack x2 happy meals and not put the chips inside?? Horrible order and it has ruined the families Saturday night!!! Will not be giving this store another penny. Your staff need to be either fired or re trained!! Where is the supervisor who is meant to check each order has the correct items inside the bag! My child is crying.. he has a happy meal box which i paid for ..£4 for a cardboard sonic the hedgehog jigsaw.. and now I am having to order from another store! An absolute disgrace

Sick and tired of paying through the nose for delivery but arrives with missing items. What good is white coffee without milk? Dry pancakes without syrup? Pancakes without sausages? Less than 9 mcnuggests? I believe I've paid for these. £14 is no small amount of cash for lazy service. Happens 99% of any orders placed. You wouldn't go to a restaurant and be happy with items missing. I'm going to actively find other places to eat.

It's a win if you get home and find you've got everything you paid for.

Had my son birthday party. The women i' customer service manager. Made us feel welcomed. Services was brilliant and all around 4 stars.

So rare for them to get the order right and served cold coffee AGAIN 12/11/23 Quite the feat tonight, chips are cold and the milkshake is warm. I really wonder how you manage to do it. It is too much hassle to go back for a refund. I won't be using this dump again

McDonald's is McDonald's. However, I have been turned away due to equipment breaking down on 2 occasions.

Friendly staff, restaurant clean and tidy.

Wait times are miserable you get parked up most times. staff are friendly and do there best its just down to management or under staffed could be streamlined alot better in my opinion food is hit or miss too.

Now i am going by the one on the shore road do my head in sick to the back teeth no getting the dips u ask for even when say at the 2nd window and they say yes there there 😡

Ordered from mcdelivery and it took so long for the food to come the food was cold I've cream melted. Was told the food was made when driver arrived took it 35 minutes to come. Firstly the order machine didn’t seem to work at drive through , no other customers so was able to reverse to other one. I tried to order membership plus Big Mac offer. They refused to honour it unless I used app. I don’t use apps or have a smart phone , I had cash to pay so they were discriminating against me in several different ways. No visual notice to say they cannot honour membership offer! Rude and unhelpful left without purchasing as they kept insisting I used app. Awful service

It was a good experience and the food was delicious

Order took just over 15 mins. When it arrived the chips were hot but with no salt. The big tasties were Luke warm and a mess and they’d missed a veggie deluxe off the order. Luckily we parked up nearby so we’re able to go back and get it!!!

Was here on Sunday 14 May was down doing a big of shopping and decided to call in,we ordered our meals and stood waiting while the staff seemed to be having a great laugh out the back but in no hurry to put the meals out, when it did come the chips were just warm and no more, and the burger wasn't far behind them we have been in a few times now and the food hasn't been great,so I don't think we will be back if they had have been busy you could have seen though it but they weren't.

Nit great order got it wrong. This isn't the first time that seems to be happening quite often may change the place of eating

There's no actual till so you can't order your food face to face. You have to use the McDonald's screen apps. When we attended the screen printed our ticket blank along with every other customer in the store, so when it came to picking up orders at the desk it was chaos.

Been to McDonald's worldwide but to be honest this takes the biscuit as the dirtiest I've ever seen! The lady manager was completely oblivious and asked me what was dirty about it!! Mass of food on floor, dirty cloths hanging everywhere etc Filth under every work surface. Do yourselves a favour. Sack that manager and get your corporate cleaning team in!

I took my kids to McDonald's and got them extra pickles on their burger but they only gave us 1 pickle. And when we got our food the lady said we ordered an orange juice wich we didn't and kept on saying you did! You did! Then the lady ignored us and gave us a dirty look. Then we ate our food and my daughter said she found a short black hair in her food.

Absolute joke. Rang them 12 times regarding an order that a Uber eats driver had taken and not delievered to me while cancelling the order. McDonald’s didn’t even inform me. The second Uber driver I had been allocated had saying that McDonald’s would not give them a second order to send out to me. £13 on a McMuffin and 2 hash browns not cheap as it is to not receive refund or another offer sent. Joke

Bog standard clone restaurant, fast food, only plus is that the food delivery drivers are in the minority here. Parking extremely limited. At busy times, traffic queued onto the main road. Drive through doesn't work well as the site is too small to cope.

Food was warm, a little overcooked but service fast

3 times in 10 days I have bought a takeaway from glengormley mc donalds and 3 times food missing sick of it .

We actually are sure we go to a mcdonalds further away than this one as they ALWAYS get the order wrong! Today we got a delivery they delivered the wrong doughnut AND we got 2 mcflurrys that had nothing in bar ice cream!! Where are the biscuit pieces and toffee sauce? Absolute shambles of a place.

Its a Northern Ireland McDonalds so you know what you're getting! However, the drive through is all but pointless now. You order, pay and wait. Online orders are serviced by delivery agents arriving and leaving whilst you wait.! Breakfast order for one person takes about 5-10mins - one car in the "could you park over there?" zone and noone else waiting in car line, then maybe one or two people walking into the restaurant. And we wait..... Obviously online orders take priority. Not worth the time. Managers need to look at the CUSTOMERS in front of them.

Ordered meal for son on Just Eat which was presumably delivered to a nearby house, and stolen by neighbour! Marked 'delivered' on Just Eat app. When I tried to ring McDonalds, there was no reply. Tried repeatedly, but no joy, left with no meal, no replacement and having paid for some thief to eat my kid's dinner. I refuse to pay twice.

McDonald’s Abbeycentre - ‘Went for a drive thru. While waiting for my order, I was really appalled to see how mega dirty the counter, shelves and the surrounding. It looks like it has not been cleaned for ages. I wonder how much more the over all condition inside the kitchen. See it for yourself people!

Have been vegetarian for 32 years and I enjoy the odd McDonald’s spicy veggie wrap from time to time. The half wits in this McDonald’s in NEWTOWNABBEY decided to include bacon in my vegetarian wrap. Not sure if it was some sort of joke or they’re just too stupid to notice. Luckily for them I spotted it and didn’t eat it. Complete and utter morons!

Refused entry with my partner for not wearing a mask despite being exempt - if they want to follow these rules for this farce that's going on then so be it but they will never get another penny off me

Food Oder wrong, some items missing. No ketchup no salt no napkins. When returned to pickup missing items we spoke to the manager, asked for ketchup we were told we were only allowed 1 portion per nugget meal. So if you’re not having nuggets you can’t have ketchup. The manager didn’t apologise for her staff cocking up the order and was generally cheeky. This woman is in the wrong job. Her attitude clearly trickles down to her staff. We will not be back to this restaurant (I use the word restaurant loosely)

I visited newtownabbey mcdonalds quite afew times and the Service is awful,the food orders are always wrong and then when you try and explan that you dident recive all the order they say it was in the bay so i asked the manger to cheak the cameras, of corse she apologised but before she cheaked the camersa she was very rude and unprofessional it was very embarrassing i will never use this restuarant again if you plan to use this place double cheak your order before you leave the drive through

An employee by the name of Jack had been very ignorant, laughed at me disabled child and refused to answer any of my questions. Should be sacked, absolute disgrace, will never enter this mcdonald’s again

The Worst McDonalds I have ever visited. Service is awful the food orders are always incorrect. Countless times the tills aren't working or the drive through lanes are out of order. The first time i had ever written a letter of complaint was about this restuarant. You would be better driving a few miles down the road for a better site.

Decided to go to mcdonalds for lunch on my break in work and wanted a chicken sandwich with bacon cheese and bbq sauce as a meal but they didn't give me bbq sauce and the chips had no salt so we're stinkin. Feels like everytime I go to mcdonalds they let me down.

Popped in for a quick snack while christmas shopping fast service food nice and hot pleasant staff clean eating area very pleasant visit for a fast food outlet traffic a bit heavy outside at the drive threw and waiting area please be careful especially with young children

Went to drive thru at 2.45am after work. One car infront of me. Took me in total 30 minutes to recieve my food which consisted of cold chips and cold wraps, absolute disgrace of a fast food takeaway, nothing fast about it. The staff must be brain dead

This McDonald restaurant has been modernised and really looks well. It has the latest self service screens and the place looks really clean.

Five times I went up to the counter with things wrong with my order. What an absolutely total disappointment! Don’t very often sit in but my daughter really wanted this treat. Only for one of the assistants who was very nice and to avoid my daughters disappointment I would have asked for a refund and left! Ordering and paying from one of their self serve paying points will be avoided at all costs next time!

Took my 7 years old son here today to get a meal before we went home. Doesn't even deserve 1 star there was a girl staff who was completely ignorent I'm sure she is colour blind and I assume she can only see children who are white and are irish I'm sorry to say this. also today it made me realise that there are people still in this country who could be chickie rotten hearted and can ingnor humans and specialy children. I my self grew up in this country and treat this country as my home country, i would never recommend this restaurant to anybody!! If such people work in a well named place She was giving ballones to all children and talking and asking if they need to paint their face even the once who came to dine in after us and was standing very next to my son but never even once looked at him nor asked if he would like to have one ballon never mind my son did not even ask one I'm sure he realised that that ballone was not for him balloons were not important but acknowledgment was more important She entertained everyone aside from my son i wanted to ask her on face if she was ok in her brains but we are from a well known and a very decent family we know what respect is and how to work and treat people when we work in such hospitality business didn't wanted to spoil my evening. Absulatly disgraced McDonald's.

I have visited this MacDonald’s a few times now and have not been impressed on any occasion. The food quality is poor - burgers dried out complete with limp fries. Each visit I have had to return meals since they were not freshly made & lukewarm in temperature. Will not be returning - suggest the public avoid this particular outlet/franchise.

My husband and I visited McDonalds for lunch. It was 1.30pm. It was fairly full of customers but not much of a queue. We ordered chicken legend meal and special New York stack. No New York stack ready. We had got everything Else. They were to bring the burger over to us. My husband had finished his meal and I had my fries eaten. When the burger came. No apology or offer of compensation.

As i am one with Type 1 diabtetes, I cannot drink Regular Coke, so I have to have Diet Coke. Upon arriving home last week after stopping by the Newtownabbey McDonalds for me and my family, being thirsty, I took a big gulp of the drink and realized something was wrong with the taste, it was full regular coke that sent my Blood Sugar levels shooting up. Luckily, I was able to take some extra insulin to bring them down again, However this is a repeating occurrence this McDonalds has done in the past.

Always the same never hey the order right. After waiting almost half an hour in the cue for the drive through we got to the last window and handed or food and were just waiting on some mcflurrys. Almost 10min later while or food went cold the ice cream arrived and we drove home only to find some of our order was not in the bags. This is a regular occurance at this branch one I will not be repeating. Very disappointing

No no ¿cuántas veces les he dicho a mis familiares y la gestión es la última vez que nunca comer en esta pocilga. Con 3 niños pequeños en no decir no a hacerles tener un McDonald's, pero después de este evento mañana espero un asteroide cae del cielo y aterriza directamente encima de él. Visitamos el drive thru en 10. 35. Espere 20 minutos para mi comida. Cuando abrieron la escotilla, le pedí de nuevo son todos ellos hamburguesas justo, respuesta fue sí, chica giraba las bolsas y el fondo desgarrada y todas las hamburguesas tierra. Tuvimos que esperar otros 15 minutos. Llegamos a la casa y las patatas fritas eran más cálidas que las hamburguesas. Las hamburguesas estaban completamente ahogado en salsa arruinando el terreno. Debería esperamos hasta las 11 de la mañana y fuimos 2 KFC 2 minutos de la carretera.

Visit the drive through for food once a week as a treat for my kids. Staff always helpful. Very quick service. Have sat in also and the place was spotless, staff friendly, food arrived quickly and love the new look to the newly decorated McDonald's.

Voy allí cada Sábado para conseguir una envoltura de tapas para mi hijo no come carne. Todo lo que pido es una envoltura de queso y huevo. snack Nunca puedes conseguir justo. Siempre hay tocino o salchichas en la envoltura. Lo peor del mcd nunca.

Paramos aquí a la hora del almuerzo cuando viaje a Belfast para conseguir algo de comida para ir, al principio fuimos a través de averiguar el coche por no abrir. Entro en el McDonalds y hacer mi pedido y me sorprendió encontrar que la recibí bastante rápidamente. Buen servicio acerca de la pena.

I called here to get a meal with the kids before we went home after visiting the Abbey Centre. Doesn't deserve 1 star never mind 5, staff where completely rude,would never recommend this restaurant to anybody!! I was left standing waiting on my for 10 minutes with my 4 small children. The waitress I was talking to was ignorant, cheeky and also very unhygienic which is disgusting and when I reminded her that I was waiting for my food for 10 minutes she proceeded to give me cold food that was sitting there since i had entered the restaurant! also gave me a cup that she had dropped on the dirty floor that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in days! Absolute disgrace, McDonalds.. sort your staff out!!

I have to say of the two McDonald's Restaurants in Newtownabbey this one at Abbeycentre is by far the best for food quality, correct order and pleasant staff. I often go for coffee and hash browns after I drop my little girl to school. I have without fail asked for my hash browns to be done for a little longer and that never seems to be a problem for the staff yet other branches don't seem too happy to do this.I always find the staff any time of the day very pleasant and have commented to them several times on how much of a pleasant experience it is when they are serving customers in such a pleasant way.

Used to come here regularly on a Monday morning heading to uni for a coffee or later in the day for a quick lunch. They're generally spot on and pretty quick. Always pleasant staff. On the odd occasion they can take quite a long time with their food getting out but this is a rarity, for me anyway.

Meat pushed unbelievably cheaply on a clientele which appear on the whole not to need any more fat...staff nice.....

Slowest McDonalds in northern Ireland I would say.. Always asked to take a space to wait on food then when it arrives its always wrong or cold and the staff are not helpful or friendly need to learn how to smile. Live 2 mins from this mcdonalds but I have to drive to another McDonalds if I want one just to avoid the Terrible service at this one

having complained several times about the sloppy service, the cold food, waiting an absolute age for food to arrive and orders with missing items, one can only assume that the owner/franchisee has no interest in rectifying any of the incredibly apparent issues going on within this branch. I have never been to a branch where the staff are so miserable, they don't listen when you place an order - which results in orders being incorrect. It has steadily gone downhill, so whether this branch has changed hands or not, I'm not sure. All I can say is, whoever is in charge had better pull their finger out and get the staff brought up to scratch.... Your kitchen staff are serving hamburgers with the fresh quarter pounder onions.. Not the hamburger de-hydes, they do this particularly at night. They must think that customers who drift into order food at an ungodly hour have numb tastebuds or are too tired to realise they've been served food that should've been binned half an hour before. Des Lamph: could you please respond to feedback being sent to you? This store is going to wreck and ruin.

Have been here several times and the food never gets any better, staff obviously do not want to be there which reflects in their none existent customer service. I would use the drive through before entering the restaurant.

Go here once a Week with my kids threw the drive through Very quick service and staff friendly Meal deals r cheap and plenty of it Food always fresh and hot A lot of choice in the menu When u sit in there colours and paper for the kids and plenty of high chairs Place is spotless The breakfast menu is very yummy

I don't know why I've never written a review for this branch before but of late my experience has been excellent at the Abbeycentre branch. I tend to use it for the drive thru and at breakfast time. Without fail, I get my order correct each and every time and one particular item exactly as I request it be cooked. Several times I have mentioned to the staff how excellent the branch is but praise should be recorded when possible. A few weeks back I was served at the collection window by the duty manager. I told him how pleased I was with my experience at his branch in fact driving miles from my home passing a closer branch. My comments were very greatfully received especially as in his own words 'we're short staffed, run off our feet and not used to compliments'. I was glad I took the time to compliment the staff.As this branch is located in the grounds of a very large shopping centre it can be incredibly busy especially at weekends, however, the only negative I'd have is they could benefit from more seating and parking.

Service at this restaurant is dreadful. Have waited in the drive thru for over 15mins on my food and Instead of asking us to go into the hold area we sat and blocked the whole drive thru with a queue of cars behind us. When we finally received our, it was obvious it had been sitting for ages. It was cold and chewy. They need better kitchen crew 100%. Staff were rude and are far from helpful when we tried to make a change to our order, and were far from friendly. Definitely needs a lot of improvement.

If I'd have been a secret shopper for this branch they have scored zero on everything. Miserable staff, slow service in a not so busy store at the time. Really annoys me when they dump half the food on tray then leave it getting cold while they wait for stuff. Food was just pushed towards me on tray with no enjoy your meal or anything. Asked for some sauce and was told that would be 10p and when I stated I had never paid before and by the way your manager there just gave them 2 sauces for nothing I begrudgeling got handed one tub. Fast food it is not and not even tasty really. I think the cardboard box might have been tastier.Also restaurant was filthy

Unfortunately, this McDonald's offers no consistency in service or quality of product which is a shame because when they get it right they are excellent. For the population of the surrounding area it's actually on the small side and lacks adequate parking. Because of the drive thru location, at busy times you can end up blocking traffic attempting to reach adjacent businesses. Most of the staff are very pleasant, the odd one or two who should question their job choice, but that could be said for most places. More often than not they can get your order wrong or forget to put in sauces that accompany your meal.

Quite slow when busy seem to struggle a bit to cope with large numbers and parking is limited if busy cars can't get into drive through and therefore block the road
