Me and my friends ordered tonight from here and we wont be back. The way the food was packed was atrocious.We had gravy chips and a cowboy supper and and they were packed sideways in the bag and not upright, when my friend held the bag driving home the sauces had leaked through the paper bag and severely burned her thighs!!!! We had to pull over, the chips, sauce and beans were leaking and when the boxes were opened we were left with barely anything as it had spilled all over us and the ground. The food was average but extremely overpriced and the staff were lovely but spoke very quietly so nobody was able to hear when they’re order was ready. It also was not advertised online that both the chippy and apache are linked so when you order a pizza from the chippy it’s Apache.

We got food while being on the bike trip from Belfast and enjoyed it while looking at the sea. I got fish and cheesy chip and I have to say that size of the fish was really satisfying, the buttering was perfect, fish inside just right! Really enjoyed it and will definitely get some next time being in the area. My son got a chicken burger meal and normally he is a very fussy eater, yet he said that it was really good, even repeating it couple of times after we got home! Everything was fresh and tasty. The only thing that was disappointing was the broken fridge, so drinks were worm, but apart from that food was great and definitely worth recommending if you are in the area!

They forgot my drink when they delivered it so the driver said he would go back and fetch it, but he never returned and I never got the drink I payed for :(

Waited 1 hour and 15 mins to ring and ask was my order in its way to then be told it would be at least another 30 minutes, asking any customer to wait 2 hours on a food order is ridiculous. Requested a refund to be told to go through justeat, wasn’t even counter offered with a discount or offered and apology at the very least. Avoid

food was nice but the wait time was way to long and even after waiting 2 hours I didn't even get a free drink. used to love this place but this is becoming an everytime problem when I order think I'll change places. nice food guys but don't depend on delivery times all of your items arriving lol

The food is great, no doubt. But i waited near 45 minutes not recently, but the previous time probably 2 years ago. Telephone orders seemed to take priority? I didn't go back till about 2/3 weeks ago and it was better.

Great food!!! Fish is so tasty and the batter is always light and crispy, battered mushrooms and onion rings are rhe best we've ever had!! Tried a pizza for the first time at the weekend and will definitely order again, staff are always helpful and polite

Just picked up 1 chip & lunchtime special burger & chips, took 25 minutes to be given left over dried scraps of chips, worst chippy ever & an absolute rip off. Won't be back

the goliath burger is hands down one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! shame it's only taken me until now to try it! 10/10

no regular chip sent with order

Food arrived an hour and a half after ordering. I rang the shop and was informed that the driver had a puncture, which may have been the case but I was not informed. Food arrived cold and unfortunately most of it was inedible

Got 2 fish suppers and 2 gluten free chips cheese. All meals were piping hot and delicious 😋. Will definitely return. Fab portion size also. Bravo 👏 👏

Ordered food from here at 19:47pm, the app said my food should arrive between 20:20 and 20:40, the food still wasn’t here by 9pm so contacted the restaurant through the app, received a call from one of the workers askin if my food had arrived, I said no and he said the order ticket had only just came through to them, he apologised and said they would make a start on the order and get it sent out ASAP. Food came after 20 mins and the order was wrong, had to ring again and wait another 20 minutes

Just picked up 2 fish and chips the chips had lots of black bits in them and the batter on the fish was thick and soggy and the price was expensive will not be in a hurry back.

Food arrived and pizza was missing driver was very good couldn’t apologise enough and rang restaurant and they weren’t very helpful we’re gonna leave my son with no dinner. Driver went back to sort it out for us. Rest of the food wasn’t great bap of burger was soggy. Chicken wrap was soggy and stuck to paper it came in.

Food was really early which was great but they forgot to put the cheese on the spice box maybe take the extra few minutes to check the order is correct before delivery

Missing drink from meal but perfect otherwise

Had taco loaded chip with Chipotle sauce which really spicy and I loved it and buffalo wings were really tasty too. Food was delivered nice and hot and delivery staff always polite 👍🏾 I'll probably order that taco chip again tonight lol

we ordered two curry chips very disappointed as it was tiny and very little chips and very little curry on it the chips.

Food is always quality and have never had an issue. Staff are always friendly too anytime we pop in to collect the order.

After last couple of bad experiences today was perfect and very happy full tummys

The worst excuse for a chicken fillet burger I have ever seen! Absolutely tasteless and bone dry. Chips soggy! Gravy lumpy and watery. Only plus was the kids fish n chips was decent value. Even the drinks were warm!

This is THEE BEST CHIPPY in Northern Ireland easily a 5 Star+. The pasties and chips are sooo tasty. Excellent food here! 😀🍔🫔

ordered fish goujons and a milkshake, the chips are cold and tasted like they were left out for awhile. fish was nice however, they forgot my milkshake and when I asked they said they would deliver it right away. 30 minutes later nothing... honestly not worth the money in my honest opinion 🤷 this has happened a few times now were items are being forgot

Otlrdered and chicken burger and small chip cost me 16quid and the chicken burger has ended up in bin Bit into the chicken it was hard and chewy chicken never like that battered wasn't cooked right felt soggy and the outside was hard never seen anything like it

always get from here and never had any complaints but I don't know what's going on the chicken burgers where spicy ones £5.90 for strawberry milkshake was what charged only ordered one and got two chips freezing we look forward to this everyweek and with two autistic grandkids they don't like change and here's normally really spot on no issues

Very small portion for sausage supper and hardly any gravy on it chips tasted like last week's ones and sausages where cheap tasteing ridiculous 20 quid for horrible food

We had ordered on Just Eat and the delivery man had complained that we were to far out but I do think if it’s too far for them, it shouldn’t be on just eat for our area. My hubby also ordered chips and he didn’t get very much.

Missing 2 chips from family meal

I have used this place lots of times but ordered delivery last night. The good arrived very quickly and was still very hot. Their food is always excellent quality and I will only order from here everytime.

Delivery was fine. Paid extra £3 for a chip and it wouldn’t even fill a child. The amount of chips was a joke! The burger was dead on. didn’t get my mayo dip either. Just not be ordering again.

Ordered 2 garlic mayo dips and only got one.

Good but I ordered curry cheesy chip and you sent gravy instead of curry.

Things on the menu they no longer serve and when i called to ask the person on the phone was very rude.

One of the nicest chippys I've had in a while. I used to live in Belfast and would regularly order taco chips from The Chip Company, knowing that there's a chippy down the road from me now that makes them the same way and just as nice is a game changer. I usually just order from Greenislands own chippy because it's a 2 minute walk away but they don't do mince on their taco chips so this was a nice surprise. The burger was perfect too. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be ordering again.

Listen, any time I’ve been in this chippy the staff are lovely. So I’m not giving 1 stars here. But this will 100% be the last time I’m ordering from here I’m afraid. The curry chip was freezing and the chicken burger was frankly, inedible. The chicken was rock hard in the centre and had to be binned. I appreciate you’re probably busy but I spend near £34 on this. Please don’t leave a voucher etc as it won’t be used. I’m not going to ask JustEat for a partial refund either.

Very poor meal. Dried out chips many overcooked. Hard goujons. Plastic cheese. Garlic dip was nice. Expensive £20 for 2 meals.

Absolute rip off, £9 for a bag of chips for a family?! £5.50 for a small bag?!! They're fried potatoes, not gold bullion. They're taking the absolute p*ss out of their customers. Definitely won't be going ever again.

Food quality was barely edible: chips were either dried out ( not fresh ) or ends from fryer. Chicken was also dried out and more coating than chicken. I ate at most a quarter of meal before having to discard. Highly disappointed. Will not be ordering from restaurant again and also question the star rating on Just Eat.

We're to begin order a large pizza and gravy chip in just eat an hour before closing driver delivers to wrong house I have cctv I can prove what I am saying phone restaurant and they say ticket ran out of paper. First order will be last.

I’m not a complainer or someone who gives 1 star reviews lightly. But I placed an order at 10.15 and my food arrived at 11.40. The burger was cold. The chips were reheated and the warp was cold. Straight in the bin. I’m also £24 out of pocket. Never again.

Loaded fries were amazing! Best I’ve had. Everything else was lovely too, delivery was fast and driver was very friendly.

I regularly went to the chip yard u ril my recent visit. Fish supper and half onion rings £13. Absolutely disgusting. Chips were cold, fish was all batter and the onion rings were 1” thick in under cooked , thick batter, uneatable.tbh, they went in the bin as did half the fish and chips. I won’t be back. Very disappointed because it was always great food in the past.

Braved the high winds and it’s appreciated, my kids didn’t leave a crust off the pizza and everything else was great too.

Food was freezing and soggy. Got as a treat and wasted £25.

Daughters chips were missing and just eat won’t refund me as I didn’t have a photo to prove something was missing. What.

Stopped on way home to stop the belly rumbles.... Got the best chips I've had in long time... Crisp outside fluffy inside.... Fried by a young fella in shop... Will def be stopping there again. Fish was massive too! Shop was freezin while waiting but the chips were worth it

I have been going to the chip yard for a few years and it can be hit or miss. I placed an order tonight for a regular chip, 8 chicken chunks and a dip. However, the chip was very small, one of the chicken chunks was microscopic and I didn't receive my dip. I didn't realise this until after I returned to the house. The inconsistency is frustrating. It also took over 30mins for my order to be ready also.

Second time ordering from here and didn't disappoint. Food was delicious and hot. Driver very pleasant.
