Went with my daughter & my granddaughter who is autistic. My daughter asked could they swap the barbecue sauce on the burger for mayonnaise on my granddaughter’s burger as she was allergic to barbecue sauce. They wouldn’t do it! They said if it’s not on the till they can’t do it!! My daughter said they swap it in barrow in Furness macdonalds & they just said ‘well they shouldn’t they aren’t allowed’ … my granddaughter was stressing out the staff could see the situation wasn’t very good but they let a 4 year autistic child cry her eyes out & start stressing .. all because they wouldn’t swap one sauce for a different sauce even when she was allergic to it. The man in charge would not have it at all but what’s the difference it shouldn’t have been a problem at all! Other parents were actually coming up & asking were we alright & how absolutely awful that was they wouldn’t do it. I am never going back there again AND my crispy chicken burger was over cooked so dry I couldn’t chew it hardly & about 2 tiny strips of lettuce nothing else the burger bun was so toasted it was nearly black & my coffee was lukewarm. Don’t bother going here it really is the worst macdonalds in Cumbria

Took my grandchildren threw the drive threw, I was askrd what I wanted, gave the first order and nothing waited and waited, car next to me got his order through, still nothing on my order, so I decided to carry on to the pay window, took another 10 mins to reach. I explained at the window that the bloke ask for my order, but then went dead. She replied nothing she could do, I carried saying, I started with my order and the bloke didn't reply. Her answer was he had to go and do something, yeah halfway me giving him my order. She said she couldn't take my order and will have to go back round. Absolutely not a chance.. What I should of done was refuse to move, but didn't want to show a scene in front of grandkids. Whitehaven McDonald's you are a disgrace.

The queue for the Drive thur was short but toke forever to get served, once we got to the collection window was told we had to pick other drinks as milkshakes weren’t available, I asked for a refund as we didn’t want other drinks. The young blonde girl was very snappy and said we had to pick other drinks and I explained I wanted a refund she came back with £4 98p less than the drinks cost but I couldn’t be bothered to argue. Once our order got passed to us I realised another item was missing, I raised this and the young girl literal had a tantrum and told me I had to go around again, I refuse as all of our food would be cold and ruined by that time. She stormed off so I asked another staff member to call a manager over he called out the name louis but he never came over, finally the young girl returned launched the missing item and me and told me take it and go!! I was in absolute shock at the rudeness and behaviour of the staff and will be raising this with head office.

Terrible customer service. Mc delivery missing half of the order. Phoned up and told they wouldn’t do anything about it. Ignorant staff and the food we did receive was cold.

23rd July 10:45 in morning rang up about order that I didn’t receive and the guy on the other end was just not helpful and very angry

Waste or time. For the third time in 2 weeks our order has not reached us. And the mcdonalds staff have been nothing but ignorant when answering the phone. We order all the time from work and the last few weeks have been awful. Waiting for refunds from uber that takes 7 to 10 days. Will never be ordering again would actually rather drive the extra 15 minutes to the workington store. Also I would like to not that our building isn't exactly hard to find. Signs on the front and back of the building. The other drivers dont have a issue finding us. Worst delivery service i have ever had.

Would have been very helpful if the large advertisement fir ice cream at the start of the queue had stated they had no ice cream - would have saved me 15 mins

I walked in to be greeted with the smell of the McPoop. The whole McDonald’s smelled like the door to the toilets had been left open after some kid had got done taking the biggest poop of his life. The smell was so bad i was wretching and left without ordering anything!

I swear down todays McDonald’s workers are dumb 🤦🏻‍♂️had a simple Order and they kept on added stuff to my order l told them that l didn’t want the stuff on my order they just didn’t listen T-T we knew the order was wrong by the total of the price 🤦🏻‍♂️: they said it was £9 something but that’s with the all stuff we didn’t ask to have on the order our order normally would have came to under £9 it’s normally £5 or 6 but no more but sadly we give up with arguing with them and told to forget our order and l just left :man_facepalming_tone1: honestly how hard is it just to pay for a cheese burger and a double cheeseburger and 2 fries they keep on adding like 5 cheese burgers and like other stuff off the menu 🤦🏻‍♂️no wonder they McDonald’s was busy because of them but upset that l didn’t get my McDonald’s sadly all because they couldn’t listen to our order which was a plain cheeseburger and double cheeseburger and 2 fries but they keep on added on like chicken nuggets and 5 cheeseburgers and stuff we didn’t ask for we said we didn’t want 5 cheeseburgers and we only wanted one but they just wasn’t listening 🤦🏻‍♂️ Waste of time

The woman worker started hitting on me lol and I reported to manager and he called me a big fat dumbass and so I left

Ordered the chicken BBQ wrap, got it home, took it out the tube it comes in & it just had the Tortilla wrap, no filling or salad or sauce, only the wrap gave 1 star as I can't do zero

Very ordinary food, we ate in which seems to mean they dont miss anything off your order at least and it was warm when we got it. Food was ordinary McD food nothing to write home about just filled a gap as you do.

Just received the worst order to date from McDonald's. Although I live very near the uber driver decided to go to other addresses first. Only received part of my order which was stone cold. The wrap didnt arrive and the millionaire doughnut arrived like a pauper doughnut plain doughnut chips looked like they had not even been near a fryer viagra wouldn't of revived them limp floppy inedible .Burgers went straight in bin cold and presentation looked like someone had thrown them in the box . Total meal utter rubbish . On the upside the drink was cold .

Will never go into a Mcdonald again after this one. Why have an order counter if you tell people that due to covid you have to use the screens. Well guess what due to covid and you not cleaning the screens after each person, I'm here you take my order. Then they have mcflurrys but no milkshake! They didn't have what my wife was wanting, so I voted with my feet.

Great drive through and a large car park to stay and eat ; free for up to 2 hrs . The seagulls come and steal your chips ; very entertaining. A Greggs , b and m a shoe store and other shops in car park

Second time I’ve been here for breakfast this week. It seems they DO NOT listen to what you actually order. The one earlier in the week was a small request, no ice in the drink. When I took the drink, I heard the ice and said that’s not how I wanted it. This rude woman said well I’m not touching that now, seems ok for her to handle to good my way, but won’t take it back after I’ve touched it. Today I asked for a double bacon and egg muffin, went to pay it said sausage, can’t fault them there as the words are so similar, I said I ordered bacon, she said she’d change that. Guess what, still got given sausage.

drive in too long, walk in too long, get ignored by rude poor service and awful staff, id rather go to workington and get served with a smile, whitehaven rude unhelpful and take the p... avoid at all costs,

I went there with my 4 sons, 2 daughters and the dog. We all shared a bargain bucket and gave the dog an Oreo McFlurry, sadly the dog mad been vomiting ever since but the bargain bucket was enough for half a piece each, the best meal I have had in 4 years.

Now I'm not being funny, when I drove to the screen to give my order why is it 9/10 you can never get the order right, your man behind the mic should retire and become a sweeper upper because clearly he can't take orders correctly without missing an item, it's like speaking to Gareth gates! If he can sing fair enough but sssssssstuttering every time I come here gets annoying! Sort your staff out! Thanks you bunch of gherkins
