Faster and efficient. great change for better. All the furniture and acess to food were improved. Automatic self-service is great and fast.

I was visiting my brother in London to celebrate the new year we were both starving from walking around and taking the busses everywhere all morning so we walked in and sat down at a table near the window anyway we waited 40-45 minutes waiting for service that was when I went to the front and saw the employee I asked to see manager Karen stile when I told them what the problem was they told me I was an absolute **** and that I should go to school witch to me was a bit ironic anyway we finally got are food but what was so strange is that there was no cutlery and you drank your coka cola with a stra I was like you pile of dog **** and left worst meal ever

The staff here have always been a bit rude like they don’t want to work. But my recent visit after many years turned out to be the same as before. Rude rude rude....unbelievable really!

Terrible servicio al cliente esperando en la fila durante 30 minutos y no nos atendió. Teníamos mucha hambre y tardamos tanto. Nadie usamos mascarilla en la tienda. Y el gerente seguía hablando con la gente excepto en el servicio. En general repugnante, horrible, lugar tonto. mi papá tenía hambre y no podía alimentarse y eso me cabrea.

Es un lugar concurrido con una zona de descanso en la planta baja. No había una máquina de autoservicio como otras sucursales de McDonald. El lugar estaba demasiado lleno y no tenía aire acondicionado al momento de la visita. Recomendaría este lugar para una comida económica pero no iría si los tiempos de espera fueran más largos de lo esperado.

Básicamente, mi primo y yo trabajamos en Trafalgar Square y usamos el autobús 159 para ir a casa y tenemos 30 minutos de sobra y teníamos hambre y vimos este McDonald's fuimos a pedir 4 hamburguesas con queso 2 de ellas pedimos sin cebolla y 4 La mayonesa de pollo con mayonesa extra y 2 sin lechuga cuando salimos del pedido nos sentamos abajo y cuando abrimos solo había 3 hamburguesas con queso y las 2 mayonesas de pollo con mayonesa extra y sin lechuga no tenían el pollo mayonesa en absoluto. .

Did a good job delivering on our McFlurrys. Wanted a pudding and wanted a McFlurry. This McDonalds delivered well. Staff delivered quickly and we were served with half a smile!

In a very busy area, just near Trafalgar Square and at the top of Whitehall, so you can expect it to be busy, its a small branch, but they do well serving the customers.

Blooming disgraceful! Upon visiting, the place was packed, we couldn't find a table, so had to have the food to take away. This was only the start! After waiting 10 minutes to be served I was given my chicken select with a long black hair in it! Don't know how this place is still going...clearly has so hygiene problems.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime. Small and narrow, you might call it "pokey" but staff seemed to do their best to cope. There's more space downstairs, but I guess it could get very cramped when overly busy. It worked OK for me.

Hot, stuffy, noisy, no soft drinks available, the shift manager had the attitude that everything was too much trouble, and the toilets were absolutely disgusting. Only visited this restaurant out of convenience. Worst decision ever.

The McDonalds in Whitehall offers the typical UK McD menu but it is in a convenient location to many sites that you will want to visit before and after your meal.

Service was poor. Restaurant was overcrowded with not enough seating for consumers and very dirty. Toilets dirty. My daughter had severe stomach cramps and vomiting (food poisoning) 2 hrs after eating chicken nuggets at this branch of McDonalds. Ruined our day out in London.

Good value food, but the place needs a clean. The service is slow though the place is always busy. The food is no better or worse than any other McDonald's, but the place does need sorting out.

Called a 7pm, 3 existing customers 1 member of staff, no acknowledgment at all, after 15mins the same customers are waiting still no words of why, guy then walks in smoking, no action, another member of staff arrives and starts cleaning the card machine, still no good, 20 mins no service, this is not fast food, time to leave. Awful experience.

Does bug me when I read reviews rubbishing McDonald's. This isn't the ivy, so food snobs get over it. We're talking fast food and drop in. Not Michelin star, but generally ok, hot and quick.There are better McDonald's, but it is ok. Bit chaotic and very busy and tables are tough to get especially at peak times.

You can't really expect a lot from McDonald's, but this one in particular has very negative vibe. Since it is in a centre of London - plenty of customers so it looks quite dirty. The seating part downstairs is very dark, maybe just one light for many tables...

We visited this McDonald's today and could not believe how dirty the place was, tables (not just crumbs but dried on food) floor and stairs needed cleaning. The order was wrong & overcharged, could not wait to get out.

On the northern side of Whitehall, before Great Scotland Yard if walking from Trafalgar Square; it is a small restaurant, which is clean and with an efficient service; whether one has seen Westminster or Trafalgar Square and heading in the other direction, it is a good stop for a quick lunch or bite.

If you are an American, you have to go to a McDonalds in Europe. I know it sounds silly, but they are way cooler than the ones in the states. You order off of a screen and they have more to offer like curley fries, ham and cheese sandwhiches,and even BEER! LOL They are a lot nicer inside too. Just go check one out haha

Stopped off for lunch with the kids and family 12 of us in all. Managed to get a seat downstairs. Served quite quickly despite the long queue. Orders spot on no issues and no more expensive than your average McDonald's. Clean. Only 2 loos in the ladies so big queues as ever.

We were there during lunch hours, and it was quick compared to the other outlet near the London eye. This is just located between the White Hall and Trafalgar Square.

Obviously everyone knows what's on offer here, the staff are usually always friendly. It's always very clean and fresh looking, good seating arrangements. It's a higher end McDonalds.

Having dinner at McDonald's whilst in London could be considered insane, but my wife and I wandered about the Tower Bridge and other places and got back to the hotel too late for any nearby restaurants to be open. It's McDonald's... if nothing else they're consistent and the Big Mac and fries were the same as at home.

I came into this McDonalds with my family to order three drinks in the evening. We ordered a cappuccino, Coca-cola, and a milkshake. There were no issues with the first drink. However when I asked for a normal Coca-cola, I was offered a Diet Coke or Coke Zero. I had no explanation as to why there was no Coca-cola which I find would have been helpful. When I decided on Coke Zero the male server tried to serve me a Diet Coke. Clearly he lacked in listening skills which is important in customer service. And then when we put in our order for a milkshake, he tried to serve us a Buxton Water…Why is it that McDonald’s employees get Buxton Water mixed up with a milkshake?!?!?!?! My family was not impressed!!! He then asked if it was a Big Mac that we wanted. No, milkshake is what we had asked for! Then he tried to sell us fries…..His excuse for listing everything on the menu apart from a milkshake was because he could not find the item on his till…..It was more likely that he could not understand English. Why on earth does he of all people have a job in customer service in England of all places when he cannot understand the language? Nor can he understand the different products that McDonalds sell. I ask again, why does he have a job when there are thousands who are unemployed that could do much better than in him in that line of work?!?!

There was a security guard at the door which I have never seen before in a McDonald's so this did surprise me. There was no waiting, restaurant very clean, food as you would expect.

This is a busy branch and gets packed dyring lunchtimes with many tourists and locals. Breakfast is busy with local workers and the downstairs seating opens around 745am with some easy going energetic music.

We've noticed that they seem to be proliferating. Whether in Florence, Rome, Paris, Amsterdam.... please. If you have to eat here at home, go ahead. But have some fish & chips, for god's sake. You're in London. The kids will love them. And eating at McD's will never be memorable. Don't give in!!! Go to a pub and enjoy the reason you came to London.

What I like about McDonald's is the standard of excellent service that is found in all their restaurants. I love their meals, especially the Big Mac, the McFlurry ice cream is to die for, and the staff are so enthusiastic. They pride themselves on giving excellent meals and service, and in a super-quick time.

I went to this place yesterday. Normally In general I admire McDonalds for their cleanliness and tidiness. But this place is an exception to the rule.The floor was dirty, the toilets were worse than market toilets. I know it was a trooping of the colour yesterday so they were busy but that is no excuse to leave the place like it was. I spoke to other customers who felt the same! Sadly most of the staff could not speak English (language of England where this place is!) and could only speak Spanish!If I was McDonalds inspector I would have sacked the manager on Duty on the spot for tarnishing the brand.

I think McDonald's is so successful, because you always get the smiling service, the same good quality of food and clean room. I had hot tea at rainy evening and chicken nuggets. And can say the tea (and coffee too) is better here than in most cafes. Nuggets was a little dry, as usual, but enough for fast food. There was cleaner and more comfortable than the Starbucks on the same day. Thank you!

I have found Mcdonald's outlets to be consistently Good Value for food and drink. You could argue that sometimes the 'meat' is not as warm as you may like but everywhere is kept clean. I am never afraid to stop off for a snack at any Mcdonald's.

It was the middle of the afternoon, not during a standard meal, but this McDonald's was chaos. The counter is small due to limited space but there was no order to the ordering and food pickup system. I waited in a long line only to order and have nowhere to go. I just had to stand there at the counter while employees tried to take more orders from people behind me. It took a long time for my food to be ready (which I can understand) but when I got the bag they gave me a chicken wrap instead of a chicken sandwich. I didn't bother fighting my way to the front again. it wasn't worth anymore of my time. I just wish there was more organization and effort by the staff. Very confusing experience.The food was fine.

The Mcdonalds in Broad street is a typical clean establishment serving reasonable food at a good value price and as usual thoroughly enjoyed by children

Not exactly a restaurant, but always handy for a quick snack. As far as I'm concerned, breakfast-wise, the bacon roll and hash brown combined with a coffee offer good value. Their post 10.30 am burgers etc are again OK for a snack but certainly not worthy of being called a "lunch" or "dinner". That said, all the food I've ever eaten in McD's has been freshly cooked, is always hot and has been palateable to say the least. Pity they do not offer custy rolls on the breakfast menu though! All staff have always been pleasant, obliging and helpful and basically, very much a case of "you get what you pay for". Certainly good value for money.

Food is not the same as the US, has a different taste entirely. Threw my burger away, waste of money.
