Unhappy with my order, I ordered a double cheese burger and it came with mayo on top of the bun when it shouldn't even have mayo on! They did not give us straws for our drinks. The food was cold.

Waited 20 minutes behind a lady claiming to of been at the front of the queue for half an hour. They just seem to focus on drive through or Uber. I give up and went elsewhere.

After using the "just eat" app for the 4th time, 3 times out of the 4, we didn't get all of the order. All 4 times the food was cold and not what you would call quality. I wouldn't advise using the delivery format as you can't guarantee that you'll actually get what you ordered or in any appetising state to eat! Better to go in person, it would appear that your order is far better quality and you'll get what you ordered.

Orded a meal for my girlfriend and myself. Unfortunately the big tasty with bacon had no bacon. Two large portions of chips missing. I would have to waite an extra 10 minutes for two hot apple pies but had to choose a different dessert. So opted for mixed fruit muffins. This is not the first time orders have been messed up. The previous time it was a smoothie. The staff need to pay attention to the orders as these mistakes should never happen. It shouldn't be down to the customer to check the order. I could of gone back to sort this out but I was at home when I realised. And the rest of the food would be spoilt. If there was a burger king in Redcar I'd take my custum there.

Absolute s***show of a restaurant, half the restaurant full of scummy hooded spotty teenagers sharing a McFlurry and taking the piss out of staff and generally causing mayhem, throwing food, pouring drinks on floor, staff oblivious to it all and have no control. Avoid sitting in this youth club at all costs!

Ordered 5 selects and there was only 4 in the box. Surely the staff can count to 5?! Usually a good meal but that is awful...

Fay helped us with our food and then when a) a drink was split followed by 82yr old falling off her stool,Fay was brilliant

Drove to mcds for a early hrs meal i got 2 cheeseburgers and fries, i wanted chicken nuggets but none at all during the late shift, said equiptment being cleaned, so optted for 2 burgers with fries, when got back to work buns on burgers were icey cold like just took them out of a freezer and half defrosted, and burgers were also cold like couldnt be bothered to warm them up, crap from a mainstream takeaway, wont be back would rather starve.

Go here quite often and manage to mess the order up every time. Ordered 2 meals and didn’t receive the chips so asked for them and they refused to give me them! Always miss items off the order because they’re all lazy and don’t care. The drive thru is extremely slow as well

I paid for 2 medium meals and drive 4 miles home to find the fries aren’t there! It’s not the first time they’ve got it wrong. Not happy with the service or their response when you complain to them directly.

Went into the store to order as the drive through was crazy busy, after a long day at work. Drove home to Guisborough to discover that my child's happy meal wasn't in the bag, but was on the receipt. Granted I should have checked on the spot but just wanted to get home. Not the first time items have been missed off orders, lazy staff with no attention to detail whatsoever. Maybe a management shake up needed.

If you can’t be bothered just don’t open! I attended the drive thru placed an order.. drove to next window and was ignored so I drove to the final window and waited only to be ignored again until I shouted hello.. ignored further until a young guy asks what? And I say I want to pay??? What a joke.. staff all enjoying fries whilst ignoring me and serving others which is great to see! Is it cos I am gay?

Get a box of Gherkins (free of charge) Buy a box of nugs Put Gherkins on the nugs. 9/10 Would recommend

Waited 15 minutes in the drive though. Got severed, correct order, drove 10 minutes to house I was working in. Opened bag. Food all cold! The chips where so hard I could use them as mini javelin sticks. The burger was awful. It was that bad I dont think I could eat them after 8 pints!

use regularly for my drive thu breakfast. The service is always good and there are some very pleasant and polite young people working there.

Wrong order after waiting 20mins went back and still give me wrong order again after waiting another 20 never ordered chicken nuggets but got them twice waste of time tried ringing several times no answer

I’m getting fed up of turning up at the drive through to be told no milk shakes yet again....it’s a ridiculous when you turnup and you have to keep your fingers crossed if you can get a shake...then if you wanting a McDonald’s around midnight..haha..get told on more than one occasion..it’s a 20 minute wait as they wait for till to switch over..Redcar McDonald’s....really getting me annoyed now.

This mcdonalds in Redcar is realistically not big enough as you can often not find a table. The service is a lot slower since they upgraded it too. Overall the food is lovely as in all McDonald's outlets and the staff are very friendly too.

Decent McDonald's. Clean, pleasant staff if a little slow at busier times. Always use the self service ordering screens as food seems arrive a little quicker. Nice to have the tablets on tables for children to use. All in all it's OK.

Called in to take a quick loo break to be honest and ended up with a big mac meal. It's like any other McDonald's but staff are very friendly and the service was very quick. If you have the munchies it's handy.

Came in tonight and was served by a fabulous young man his name was Harry you are a real credit to the team and sould be proud of yourself thankyou for making us so welcome you will achieve great things with a personality like that.

Staff and food good, collected our food to make sure our order was correct. Place was really busy, it was only 4.30 pm and there were groups of teenage boys gathered round the entrance to the restaurant and a few police in the car park, no fault of mcdonald's, but it must be very off-putting for people with young families, as the language they were using was disgusting.

This was a chicken nugget from a happy meal my 1 year old was eat right before she started coughing and this came flying out. The management werent bothered in the slightest. Not even offering my money back for the meal! All they could do it send it off for "analysis"

On Friday 3rd August 2018 approximately 8:10am I visited the drive-thru at this establishment and received a poor service and cold food. I was asked to pull in to PARKING BAY 1 whilst it was quiet and I endured a 12 minute wait without an apology and cold food, staff were spotted laughing and joking whilst holding the paper bag containing the food prompting me to get out of the vehicle at which point I took the bag from the staff member and left before the temperature of thefood had dropped any further. Unfortunately I was running late for an appointment otherwise I would of returned to explain why I thought the service was whole heartedly unacceptable in all aspects of the service. I will not be able to visit this location again and I would advise anyone at the drive through to check the heat on the meals purchased before departing the establishment, all in all a poor experience and a shoddy performance from the McDonald's team on this occasion.

I consistently am given the WRONG food here, it's a waste of my money and the crazy amount of times that this has now happened and will likely continue to happen shows that this store NEEDS new staff as the current staff are sh*t

Went through the drive thru asked for a crispy peri chicken wrap and i was given a chilli one which is vile- this has happened twice now, staff are deaf and dumb

Came here on Sunday morning and was greeted by a young man called 'tom' . The customer service in here was amazing and he was rather polite and told us to give him a shout if we was in need of anything ! The ketchup pump was not working ( which is usual is McDonalds restaurants) so I told Tom and he easily solved this problem for us ! It was my first time in here and certainly won't be the last. Thanks very much Tom ! Overall the food was great along with the service.

Went on a Sunday at 11 30am to avoid the rush. Nice crowd of people in, so decided to eat in. Food was good, hot, staff were friendly, toilet facilities very clean. I only didn't give it 5 stars as nobody came to clean our table and there was quite a lot of spilt food on the floor in a few areas (I must say this is unusual for Redcar, normally on the ball).

Filthy, horrible food, terrible atmosphere. A complete waste of money. Burger was slop in a bun. Queue for food right next to where you get your napkins and condiments. A dull, unexciting place. Don't eat here.

Since the re furb the place is disorganised , orders are wrong , but worst of all food is always cold , I literally have a four minute drive from the drive through to my house and a sausage and egg muffin I bought this morning only probed to 21 degrees which is within the food temperature danger zone , I won't be going back

Recientemente estuve con mi familia y me pareció que el lugar era asqueroso, había comida en las mesas pisos que tenía buscarle ha borrado o limpiado. El personal no parecía haber molestado, no hace falta decir que no he pedido y no volveremos pronto.

Personal amable, servicio rápido. Solícito. Visitamos el miércoles 1 de febrero de 2017 calle @ 1 - 2 pm. El restaurante era muy, muy ocupados, sin embargo, la eficiencia de su personal y equipo se aseguró de clientes tuvieron el mínimo de espera y disculpas por cualquier demora recibido Observé el trabajo en equipo muy bueno. La señora de la limpieza y limpiar el comedor nunca parado. Mi madre comentó en su diciendo que un trabajador bien, busca en ella ella está muy encima de todo. En un mundo de quejas sentía que necesitaba se reuniera este restaurante por su excelente trabajo. Gracias.

Lo que cabe esperar de una buena comida de Mackey d drive a través de eficiente, pero si quieres comer en pensar de nuevo. Hemos estado un par de veces, varias veces al día y nunca se puede conseguir un asiento para las pandillas de niños usando como un club juvenil. Acerca de 5 niños compartiendo una comida feliz y haciendo que dura tres horas. Mal Manejo de verdad. No puedo ver por qué dejaron que sucediera, se pone a ir.

Metimos en 19 de septiembre mientras aquí esperando un autobús, ya que no me gusta la lluvia. Tenía una hamburguesa, patatas fritas y tés. el personal era muy agradable, que no tienen mucho que hacer, así que tuve el tiempo para ser amable.

Food fast and warm. Coffee terrible. Made more bearable by swift drive through avoiding the need to sit in. A place to go when the others are closed.

Se llama comida rápida porque no hay tiempo de cocinar, de residuos. Si tienes hambre, se ajusta a la ley. Puede reunirse no soy mucho de un fan de la marca, y en la justicia, el personal es amable y educado. He probado MCDONALD'S en los estados unidos, y sus ofrendas allí son mucho mejores.

The place is a mess staff rude and unfriendly and the staff who clean well they need a lesson if I was management I would sack the lot and start again

Famous locally for lackadaisical service. There is a sporting chance that your order will be incomplete or incorrect. On our recent visit we received a portion that we had not ordered - presumably from someone else's order - and were lacking one of the kid's meals that we ordered.The food, when you get it is mediocre, I have sampled much better at other Mac's. MacDonald's management need to get a grip on this establishment.

If you visit this McDonald's, make sure you double-check your order before leaving. Consistently items missing. Restaurant is clean enough and parking isn't usually an issue.

excellent for drive thru especially coffee, food quick , but menu improving, good little stop off when needing a snack

I've used this 'fast food' restaurant quite a few times now and 50% of the time they've forgotten something on the order or asked me to wait in the car park while the order is completed. I once waited 30 minutes and when I went back in to see what was happening they'd forgotten the order. They do sort things out eventually, or give a voucher code for missing items.

Three times in a row we have got home to find items missing from our order. Why can't they read the screen & simply add food item to the bag ? Sounds simple so why can't they get it right. Fed up disgruntled customers

It is useful when you simply want to drive in and give your order at the window. You pay and collect your meal shortly afterwards. I have withheld a star because a lot of the staff are young folk and mistakes are sometimes made. That is most annoying when you arrive home and find you are minus one or more parts of your order. The other star is because so often to sit in the restaurant is often very noisy with children running all over the place and tables not cleared promptly.

Visited for a quick burger on New Year's Eve, very busy but to be expected.Got the order wrong but too hungry to take back & wait, cold fries.Staff didn't seem to be working as as team, won't be back, prefer the other mcdonalds out of Redcar

I have used this Restaurant several times. It's difficult to maintain consistency in such a busy environment, however there is always an issue with reheated fries or Chicken Mayos just thrown together. I expect a lot better for such a popular outlet. I must say the staff when ordering on the drive through are severely lacklustre and unprofessional, constantly sighing and unwilling. It's a big shame and I hope other visitors have more joy than I did/do.

I have had a number of issues with this McDonald's from the staff to the food and the state of the place. The staff here can be very obnoxious and not at all customer freindly, I had complained but was told " well you don't have to eat here " not what you expect from such a major food outlet. Last time we went we ordered our food big mans and happy meals for the kids, all the food was stone cold and tasteless. We took the good back and complained about it but again the staff were not bothered at all and just said, " it's all the same what do you expect ". Not the reaction I was looking for. The place itself always seems to be dirty with food and its wrappings left on the tables for ages and when you go outside there again is empty cartoons left all over even though there are litter bins to use. Toilets are also not very clean and are smelly. I doubt very much that I will be visiting this McDonald's again for a long long time.

It must be ten years since I went in a mcDonalds and they have not really got any better in that time . had a minging breakfast wrap- or thats what I ordered but the girl gave me a bacon sandwich and I had a cofee the coffee was ok but the bacon was like chewing rubber bands

I've always counted McDonalds as my guilty pleasure and do actually usually enjoy the food and most of the time the atmosphere within the restaurants.I would have to say however that this was my worst experience in any McDonalds (and I've been in a lot!!) and has definitely put me off for the foreseeable future.When we went in there was one member of staff who was not serving anyone but as we approached the counter he let out the biggest yawn ever giving us the full view of the inside of his mouth.Despite this we ordered after which he repeated the yawn thing allowing us the same view again.Throughout the whole time we were there he never looked at us once he was too busy speaking to his mate about what they had been up to on some previous night.To just about finish it off half way through putting our food on our tray he removed his cap and gave his greasy head a good scratch before continuing to get our food together.Add to that the fact the ice cream machine wasn't working (as always in all McDonalds when the kids are off) and the food was barely luke warm by the time he'd put it all together this was probably as bad as you are ever going to get on one visit.

il look forward to going to McDonald's rarely for a treat with my boyfriend but then everytime we go something is wrong with the order I ask for a plain cheese burger it comes fully loaded with all the things I don't like so I can't eat it, I ask for chocolate milkshake it's banana! Or don't get given a straw.. Ask for curry sauce don't recieve any this has happened on every occasion and again tonight there's always something missing or not right listen to the Orders and follow them!

We arrived at Macdonalds in Redcar , Cleveland at 5.20pm - 2 Grandparents and 3 Granddaughters to have what we thought would be a nice family meal. The venue was packed out with no place to sit but the high tables with tall bar stools (Hardly safe for young children). On observing the other people sitting at tables it was noticed that there were several tables with teenagers sitting passing the time of day like some sort of youth club. It was even worse when we observed that none of them were eating or drinking, which defeats the purpose of this establishment. Several of these ignorant people were sat with their feet up on the seats and none offered to give up their seats for a paying family to enjoy their meal. The staff were oblivious to the fact that paying families could not sit to enjoy their meals due to these ignorant individuals. We will not be returning to experience this again as the children were upset with their 'treat'.

This is probably the worst ever McDonalds Restaurant I have ever visited. Service was painfully slow - Sunday evening between 7 & 8, one member of staff serving, about 15 people wandering around in the kitchen, drive through staff shouting "Will somebody buck their ideas up in the kitchen, drive through waiting for 10 minutes...", one guy who looked to be the manager was arguing with another customer because their order was wrong! This is one McDonalds that don't know the meaning of customer service. Staff were wearing dirty uniforms and frankly didn't appear to care less about what they were doing...I'd recommend that you don't visit this restaurant. All the toilets were closed - I'm sure Health & Safety would have something to say about this. Food was lukewarm or cold.

Terrible access route to drive thru. Accident waiting to happen. Easy ordering system...move to window one....pay...move to window 2...collect....drive off...park up. Damn....no condiments with the £4.48 supreme meal....too late to go back and complain.Whats that with the chicken and bun?...mayo and a piece of lettuce. RIPOFF.

Simply normal McDonalds, always a large queue at the drive through and slow, slow service. Food is just average fried junk.
