The food is as good as you expect from a McDonald's, but I found the service to be impersonal. Despite that the venue was very clean and quick service

Absolutely pathetic attempt at 'fast' food. Couldn't even make a hamburger and quarter pounder in 2 hours. Could have butchered a cow and made it from scratch faster.

We went for breakfast 🍳 on the way to a training course in Birmingham. Only disadvantage of this branch is that no table service upstairs. It’s located next to grand central station.

On entry to the store, it seemed clean! The service however that was witnessed by myself and other customers was a shame. Louise the shift manager on at the time dealt with a customers order who wanted a plain wrap. Louise shook her head as if this was a problem for her to deal with as she looked at her colleagues. This store seemed very unprofessional and there was no smiles or common courtesy, unsure why people are in this sort of job. Maybe they should consider a warehouse?

I spent over £20.00 at this McDonald's, big Mac was freezing cold, quarter pounder and cheese burger was also freezing cold also 3 lots of fries was also cold.. MC chicken sandwich also freezing cold. The ONLY hot things on our plates were chicken nuggets, 2 hot coffees and a hot cup of chocolate... This experience has put me OFF McDonald's for life and will NEVER be going to McDonald's again!. This was supposed to be a treat after going to see a pantomime at Birmingham hippodrome!. I would rate the service and quality of food as 0 it was that bad... avoid this McDonald's it was terrible!!....

I visited on 04.04.23 and found a screw in my Sprite. I notified the manager in store and contacted customer services. After sending the screw to their lab, I was offered some food vouchers. They do not seem to take this seriously and I am appauled that a food business feels it is okay for a customer to find a screw in their food! I have contacted environmental health with my concerns and will not be visiting again

Been to this particular McDonald’s about 3/4 times thinking I’ll give it a go again maybe it was just a mistake. On all 3/4 occasions there have been issues with my order, for a place known as fast food it’s not fast and the service you receive is equivalent to the price of the meal. Paid for extra cheese on a wrap, got no cheese. Asked for no onion on a cheeseburger, didn’t even bother to put it through the till as no onion, or have been given the wrong burger. No ice in the drink? You will get ice. I get that I’m paying a few £ for a meal. But if I’m paying extra for a slice of cheese and you make a big deal out of it. (After I told you at the till I wanted it, then you have to do a separate transaction for a slice of cheese because you didn’t listen to me and helped your colleague with their customer instead.) honestly don’t bother, pay the extra £2 and go Burger King 😭

Not too busy when I entered the restaurant at 8 am and didn't wait at all to be served by the friendly Hasma? For under £3.50 I enjoyed a egg and cheese muffin, hash brown and a coffee; no frowns when I asked for ketchup! Food was cooked to the correct temperature.

On my last trip to Birmingham I found this McDonald's efficient and pleasant with food being quick to order and come, orders correct every time and the seat area pleasant to sit in every time. There were no unreasonable delays or pestering staff. It was everything the solo customer wants from an eat in fast food restaurant.

this place is ideal for a take away if your stopping in the hotel above. we had vouchers and used them. but when we got in our room the food was luke warm. but at a cheap price what you expect

Absolutely shocking service. Although it was 18:30 on an average busy service, my order was ignored (having paid and awaiting for collection). After seeing others getting their orders ahead of me … I asked a young server on the till .. she said “oh yours is here” (immediately in front of her” … like I’d done her a favour ! My food was cold, but as it was busy, I felt it wasn’t worth it. I pity those that come here on a Friday evening expecting hot food or staff who know what they’re doing.

We were stopping in the hotel above. and ate here every night for a take away as we had vouchers. so we had a grand meal every night for a tenner. the only problem is people are urinating outside the restaurant. the managment need to get this under controle due to it been a food place

lovely food after i went to the toilet and there was a few skids on the toilet i told the manager and they told the worker to clean in the workers face did go small but they did a good job as they knelt down and got the job done big mac is lovely from here so juicy

Ideal to grab and go if you are staying at the hotel above. would not recommend to eat inside the restaurant as people come in and beg and then urinate outside this place. but food is 100%

We stayed in The Premier Inn along Stephenson place and adjacent to the hotel was this McDonald's which my twin brother Stephen and I visited and thought was rather good. We had arrived from Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station and before booking in we dropped into this McDonald's, service was quick ,double cheeseburger, fries and cola served piping hot ,your typical McDonald's, tasty and filling ,great value for money, it was just what we needed after our train journey. We really enjoyed our burger meal here before booking into our hotel and starting our five day stay in this most cosmopolitan of city's. Easy to locate along with Stephenson Place.

We were staying in the hotel above. i said to the wife here is £25 go and get some food. she was no longer then 10min and the food was piping hot. burgers, nuggets and fries just right

popped in there after getting off the train to be honest it was very busy but the burger was very nice and tasty so was pleased with that

Not impressed it’s dirty kids have greasy finger and wipe then all on the iPads. Also toilets are even worse 🤮🤢 I know it’s cheap and is mc Donald’s but they should clean up the place it’s a mess!

Went here for a quick lunch with our grandchildren. The ordering process was quick and efficient. The only thing they got wrong was holding the jalapeños on my wrap. The grandchildren all got what they liked and ate all their food. A success! The chicken wrap was pretty good, but could have been a little warmer.

So I came a few days ago with a couple of my friends and I was served by a young, polite lady called Zaynab. Overall a great customer service at McDonald’s!

Nunca tuve una comida tan horrible de McDonalds. Intenté llamar pero acabo de recibir el contestador automático.

Siempre parece estar ocupado pero las colas parecen ser tratadas rápidamente. La comida siempre es la calidad estándar de McDonalds. Los baños siempre están limpios y el área de lavado de manos es compartida entre hombres y mujeres, pero no parece ser un problema. Siempre abarrotada en la planta baja, pero generalmente hay muchos asientos de repuesto arriba.

Muchas gracias al despreocupado, ignorante y despiadado miembro del personal de ayer (27/06/19) a las 7. 45 pm por negarme a dejar que mi hija de 19 años use el baño de arriba porque el de abajo estaba en uso cuando de repente se sintió mareada y enferma al pedir comida de su tienda. La obligaron a salir y vomitar en el pavimento. Un momento extremadamente embarazoso para ella! Estoy absolutamente disgustado por tu actitud cruel hacia una chica joven.

Restaurant was clean and as expected. One of the order screens was broken which caused a queue and once I gained access to a working one it was rather slow to respond.

The food was good and fresh and the staff was really nice forgot my iced drink but they were really apologetic

Served pretty quick though burger dried out while wating for chicken burger . Paid for aditional chilli sauce but not put in the bag .. Wouldnt return to this one .

If I had the choice I would always avoid this mcdonalds at is always the busiest one I have ever visited. Given that though the staff always seem very organised and considering the numbers of people ordering the service is reasonably quick and never had a problem with the food not being hot so can't complain to much.

Cockroaches scuttling about the floor, revolting food, awful service, and they had the gall to tell me I didn't know how to ask for a cheese burger

McDonalds are pretty much the same the world over. I popped in for a hot chocolate. Staff served me quickly. Drink was hot. No complaints here.

Was ordering a happy meal as been asked to get the new Pokémon toy - but the largest Birmingham store does not see a need to order any in and I came away with a toy from last year that is useless and will have to be just thrown away

Las papas fritas no estaban recién cocinadas, tampoco. Haré una resolución estacional para mejorar mi vida y no volver a McDonalds.

Typical macs had a breakfast muffin did not have to wait long and it was next door to our hotel Prmier Inn.

The burger was cold, the floor was very dirty, the restaurant wasn't open up stairs so we didnt have a comfortable meal, and it was only 8pm. It wasn't an enjoyable meal.

As you would expect from Mcds this one is a great handy restaurant. Next door to the station, quick clean and effiecient

I went in and ordered a burger specifically saying I didn’t want mayonnaise as of allergies yet, despite checking this with them over before I took my burger, they still added mayo. This concludes that the staff are not very atentive as this mistake has been repeated more than once before and I’m not happy about it

DO NOT USE MCDONALDS. I have previously obtained video evidence recorded on my phone of cross contamination in one of their big resteraunts. and they also got 12 of my orders wrong, despite me disclosing I have allergies. The restersunt refused a refund and when I contacted the complaints team, I was offered £25 in vouchers, later revoked by another manager because I have “already been compensated before”. It is awful customer service, and I have been treated extremely unfairly, a company that turns over £52,000,000 a day can’t even rectify this health risking mistake! I am taking it to the newspapers. Disgusted, I plea anybody to never eat here. I also have got in touch with an ex employee, who has disclosed to me some of the serious health risks she secretly photographed in her time here. I am disgusted.

My cheeseburger was luke warm at best, and the bun didn't feel that fresh - I was eating after 10 at night. The chicken wrap (which obviously had to be made to order) in the kids meal was much better.

Went in today. served quickly, short wait and good food. milk shake could have done being a bit colder

Visited on saturday with 2 of my children. The restaurant was really busy but i was still served surprisingly quickly. The wait for our order, again, was surprisingly short.

Not bad service, the place is always busy. They could do with cleaning the tables a bit quicker and the floor always seems to attract food.

We used this McDonald's and felt that this was satisfactory as McDonald's go but as it was open 24 hours and the staff were very pleasant and the food served quickly then I have rated this as very good.

So I went here a couple of times and they fudged my order a bit (gave me the wrong sauce) - I was a little unimpressed so I complained online. This branch of Mcdonalds must be one of the busiest in town as it is right in the heart of New Street and on the approach to the Upper level of Grand Central and New Street Station. I would describe it as 'average' in terms of cleanliness and atmosphere. One of its advantages is that it is open all hours. Recently I arrived at a hotel next door to it at 11.30 pm and unsurprisingly its restaurant had closed. I asked how one could find food and they directed me to McDs. Very convenient.

As a family with young kids we don't go to McD's for high quality cuisine - we want somewhere pretty quick so we can get in and out without tantrums. This particular branch was manic - perhaps to be expected given the location - and it was a struggle getting in and finding somewhere with a stroller. There was no seating and it each very cramped downstairs and we didn't want to leave the stroller, so we had to manhandle it upstairs where we luckily found a seat. The baby change was back downstairs so there was a bit of to-ing and fro-ing. Food was fine, boys ate their fish fingers happy meals and I'm a fan of the chicken selects meals. We were in and out without too much hassle.

Cold burger, dry and tastless, rubbish fries and a messy table decent thick shake thats all Waste of a tenner

Almost always busy but the staff here are super fast, efficient and always friendly. Plenty of seating upstairs or sit in the window people watching like i do.. Close to Tram terminus, entrance to New st station and shops everywhere you look.. A perfect place...

i went in on tuesday morning and had a coupon with me to. so i got a big mac and medium fries for £1.99 and then on top of that i had a super big mac meal and 20 nuggets. i paid a total of £10.67 so not bad price. but the soft seats had all rip cuts in. so this place could do with some new chairs. but other then that nice and clean and friendly staff. will be back when im in the area

In need of something early on a Sunday before my train this was my only choice and actually a little better than my last visit. Tables cleared fairly promptly food fresh and hot and of course you know what you are getting.

Polite service from the one that served us but ordered 2 Toffee Lattes and a chocolate muffin and chicken mayo.When the order was received I was told they had no chocolate muffins so did I want a cookie which was cheaper or a blueberry cake, no mention of price difference for the cookie.Drinks one with cream and drizzle and the other no cream.When we checked the order one has a very little amount of cream with drizzle and the other had no drizzle.No mention of sauce requirements for the mayo chicken.Overall staff didn't listen or care.

Honestly, all I could eat were a small bag of carrot sticks, they couldn't confirm what the chips were made of.As I had a big order I called them and they flat out refused delivery. Service was poor, staff were more confused than helpful.

The place was very busy. Have to wait for food. The place was also very dirty. The staff wasn't so polite and customer service wasn't good!

I go through the drive 50% of time we end up having to go inside as the order is wrong. 95% of the time I know exactly what they are going to say. "Can you pull in a parking bay" to be kept waiting ages. A previous visit they had no milkshake and today no carbonated drinks. What is that all about. And to top it off would have been good customer service to put a sign up alerting us rather than stand in a queue for 10 mins to then find out. Very poorly managed in fact where is the manager? Yet I still keep returning just because of its locality. Sad on me need to start using another one rather than keep getting frustrated with this place.

Fall in love once again with Mcdonalds. That really indescribable. Food was really tasty & Delicious . Hope will be back again.

The service and food was so awful at the Britannia Hotel round the corner in New Street so I went to McDonalds instead. I like hamburger and chips and the service was good.

Its a McDonalds in central Birmingham, it has been recently updated, it now has new ordering machines which speeds up the process of ordering food, its a great addition. There is some seating downstairs and many more seats upstairs, it is clean and toilets are clean also, which is a welcome plus as many others are totally disgusting.The food is the usual McDonalds fare so no issues on that front, I would recommend

I came here in the 23rd Feb 2017 at about 2:30 after a night out. Ordered on the machine for take out which is very easy to use, however I ordered 2 portions of mozzarella sticks, which weren't with my order. I understand that it is a late night, however I expect what I paid for. I will start checking my order before I leave in future.

Visited here for dinner take out, lovely staff, great fast service with a smile and food hot. Will visit again.

The restaurant was being cleaned while open when I arrived at 5:50 in morning I got a bit unnerved when 2 security guards by the door. That said food was how it should be cheap & tasteless the only plus point was nothing else was open.

Despite being busy the food was very luke warm and the chips were soggy and had no flavour. This is a small MacDonald's and when busy difficult to get a table.

Went in here for breakfast it was quite clean toilets were very clean,I had sausage and egg mcmuffin was very hot .

Came in for a coffee, one man working very hard, 2 girls talking so a long queue of self service system users waiting for their delivery, girl in charge of drinks needs to use the machine to prepare drinks not chat to her friend.

A really good system is in operation here to ensure the speediest delivery of orders.The upstairs dining area is very clean and staff are constantly clearing and cleaning.Not generally a MacDonalds fan but this was good

This branch is in the middle of the city centre yet the service is always really quick. I always use the screen to order my food but at some branches you can be waiting 15 mins for your food but not here.

I like this branch and use it when I visit the city centre. Always busy but I never seem to wait long. Friendly staff too. Fair play to the team leaders and management. Some pubs could learn a thing or two from this branch.

This is a great Mcdonalds due to it's fabulous staffing team. This restuarant is very busy and get overflowing at times but the staff always manage to make sure your needs are met, and also it's in a very convenient place right next to new street and outer Birmingham. Whether i've popped in at 5am for breakfast or dinner i've been served correctly and the foods always hot and the restuarant even when busy is very clean and no mess everywhere etc.

Popped in on my visit to Birmingham and ordered a McFlurry. Plenty of staff, long queues but superbly quick turnaround with minimal waiting. If all other McD's were like this branch

There is always a queue to get served, and a long wait to get your order, but otherwise everything is ok.

I most often visit this branch for early breakfast - food always well prepared though service could be quicker and sections always seem to be closed off for cleaning. Staff are lovely and patient, which they need to be since most mornings someone seems to be kicking off about something, usually because they've been asked to leave for one reason or another. Often a bit of a performance hence the heading for this review!

I really love the mcflurry it is my favourite dessert, I just cant get enough of it, I would definitely reccommend to all.

Always find it hard to find somewhere to sit in the hull city centre store as college students seem to be to lazy to actually go upstairs meaning families with young children usually end up leaving! We have many occasions! Since having the new system I've had my order wrong 3/4 times!!! Brown sauce on a bbq chicken legend salad instead of fries and everything wrong in my sons happy meal! The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is kept clean

Whilst the breakfast wrap was good, the coffee was a bit dishwater like. Maybe I shouldn't expect Barista coffee from a fast food place

This is the maccys I choose if Im in Birmingham. Sometimes a bit of a queue but food always served quickly and always hot. Right next to the cathedral so you can go eat your food in the sun.

Astonished at the speed that the staff worked at, quick, efficient, and lovely clean environment food hot and as with all mack y Dee's , quality. Close to the place we stayed at, and was open 24hours to serve customers with unusuall eating preferences, may I congratulate the lady who was cleaning up the debris from sloppy customers, she was very particular and made the eating area acceptably clean and tidy without very much intrusion. Four stars to her.

Nipped in to get some food wanted to sit down they was no where to sit down on top of that food taken along time to come.

Went for breakfast here before catching the train. Ordered porridge and a sausage and egg McMuffin meal. We spent 10minutes waiting for our food at the pick up point. Other people were ordering and getting there food quicker than us. Finally we got our food, no apology and when we asked why it took so long, she said it was because of the porridge. Which is funny as we had watched a man put it in the microwave two minutes before we received it! Told the lady it was dreadful, she didn't seem to care!! Plenty of staff but no organisation! It was a better system when the till operator completed your order for you, rather than paying then having to go to a collection point! We could of got an earlier train if we wasn't waiting so long.

I eat in McDonalds simply to relax and use the free wifi. Food is getting more expensive and less I notice too! Plenty of room provided.

I am not a lover of any Mcdonalds as I find the food very bland tasting compared to Burgerking but just in my circle of friends I know it is a case of one or the other and the people who prefer Mcdonalds love it.The thing I love about this venue is that you don't have to worry about going in to meet people even if you don't eat. If you are heading for New Street Station it is a good place to meet friends as it is easier to find them than at the station.With the closure of all the public toilets around the streets it is always nice to know that you can pop into Mcdonalds and no one ever moans at you, I must add that usually when I go into Mcdonalds I am meeting someone who has bought something and I do really love the breakfast pancakes with syrup for a real treat.

Not a major fan of the MC'D brand due to service and quality experiences but this one was good food hot service and staff that in fct understood what you asked for first time and not struggle to get served

This is a McDonalds and its strength is its location so close to the city and Grand Central. If you are in a rush and don't want to spend a lot - why not give it a whirl. You'll know what you are getting.

Hamburguesas de plastico. Lo unico positivo que nos salvó porque seguimos creyendo los españoles que a las 22:30 podemos encontrar algo abierto para cenar cuando salimos al extranjero. Algunas malas pintas en la entrada. Peleas en su interior. A mi se le olvidaron ponerle la parte de arriba del pan de mi hamburguesa...me pusieron una hamburguesa de menos del pedido...desastre...pero bueno al menos quitamos el hambre

Mcdonalds - it is what it is - chavvy teens messing about, overweight counter staff and orders muddled up due to the fact that a new system of works has been installed which simply does not work and creates customer waiting time and a congested area.oh well.

Now all maccies are pretty much all the same across the board but hey thats what makes it great, you know what you're getting and consistency is key for one of the largest franchises in the world.service is as to be expected at such a busy place they are quick as they can be although thir new system is not as great as they had hoped it would be, food is great as far as fast food goes. if you're in a hurry and needa quick decent bite to eat then this is the place to go especially if you are running late for a train

What can you say, very busy McDonalds but not very inviting from from outside but when your hungry and late for a train you will eat anywhere, the big mac and strawberry shake kept me going. As all these fast food places are basically the same but this one does appear grubby and in need of a refurb,
