Mcdonald's Restaurant in Stockton-on-Tees

To many delvery drivers taking up room, puhing in, taking up parking spaces. So much so, we wanted to dine in but ended up eating inthe car.

If you like to wait over 20 minutes to get your food, then this is the place to go.

Visited at a very busy weekend lunchtime. Although there was a slight wait, the food was completely fresh when it arrived. The restaurant was clean and well kept.

Got my order slightly wrong, but gave me something worth more… so can’t complain! 😊

Cheeseburger was nice and hot Staff good, didn't have enough hot cross pies but replaced with 2 apple pies great!

Got the four stars because of convenient location. It's a McDonald's so food etc is like most others. It was absolutely rammed when I went which did slow the system a lot, but they get busy of its location.

24 hours when it’s not. Staff were rude. Get new staff in ASAP. Won’t be attempting there again… seems as though they couldn’t be bothered so they wanted us gone

Visited McDonald’s (Portrack) on 10/03/24 and I must say, the 2 lads that served me at the drive thru (Jack Dobson and Adam Walker Smith) were so pleasant and polite. It was very busy so I can imagine they were rushed off their feet, yet they still managed to be friendly with great customer service.

Food freezing cold unable to eat. Waste of money as unable to eat.

I recently visited the McDonald's on Portrack lane and had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff members named Dylan. From the moment I approached the counter, Dylan had a terrible attitude and was very rude to both me and other customers. He seemed annoyed when taking my order and impatient when I asked questions about the menu. Throughout my visit, he made snide remarks and rolled his eyes when interacting with customers. His behavior was unprofessional and created a negative atmosphere in the restaurant. I was extremely disappointed in the service I received from Dylan and would hesitate to return to this location if I knew he was working. McDonald's should invest in better customer service training for their employees to ensure that all patrons are treated with respect and courtesy. 🤬😧

place was dirty, child was sick on the floor and staff member was walking through it like it wasn’t there.

Used drive through persons could bearly be heard didn't take correct order was given the wrong food at window then handed my food to get home to find missing items and a cold burger when only living 5 minutes away over poor experience

Restaurant was packed no where to sit food was hot and right unlike when you get it delivered its always an hour late and freezing cold and always something missing or stuff on the burger that you requested wasn't

Disappointing hot chocolate..odd taste. In a blind test I wouldn't have known just what it was.

Awful service, nearly every time we go to the drive through they get the order wrong. Not just at one store but 2. Portrack Lane Stockton-on-Tees and Durham Road Stockton-on-Tees

The food was nice and I had a pancake breakfast. Check your order before you leave. As normal items missing.

It's great to be able to write a positive review about McDonald's, considering most branches are so mediocre, but this restaurant definitely bucks the trend. I work nearby, and visit quite often. I have never been disappointed by the food or service at this outlet. Whoever is in charge definitely knows what they are doing, the food is consistently good, with friendly staff and a clean environment. If you want to experience how a McDonald's should be, this is the place to visit. Very good indeed!

Drive through tends to get your order wrong. long wait at times, they tend to be overwhelmed with takeaway orders. just eat, etc. staff tend to be new every other week. prices raked.

Half the time the milkshake machine seems to be 'unavailable'. Not the easiest drive through to go around. Food is standard. Service is ok.

Popped to the drive thru after going to go outdoors. I had the fillet of fish. Extra cheese and sauce. Lovely. Cooked perfect.

Sometimes Mcdonald's is a bit cold and soggy. Especially the chips. Not here, been a few time and every time it's been fresh and hot.

Ordered on mcdelivery and order was wrong. ticket on the bag was right but order totally wrong. This has happened 2 times before but slightly wrong this time beyond a joke. User doesn't answer calls call store and not them even though the content was wrong. I am deleting everything macs and will not be visiting portrack macs again would not recommend mc delivery no come back might as well burn money ( I have pics to prove )

Wasn’t busy during lunchtime we ordered of screen inside and almost waited 15 mins for table service,food as per but service poor girl apologised but no good really ,cleaning equipment all over floor untidy really.could do a lot better

Mighty McMuffin is essentially just a double McMuffin with bacon for near a fiver :/ poor value.

The best McDonald's in the area honestly, they never forget the sauces and food is always hot. added bonus being that the queues are usually a very reasonable length. Exactly what you want from a McDonalds.

Exceptional customer service for a McDonald's. Staff very attentive and hardworking plus helpful, especially when you consider how busy they were. Restaurant was clean and tidy plus free WiFi obviously a bonus.

Updated 2023/04/26: It gets worse... Now they don't even bother to supply the food ordered. The money has been taken and the order marked as "collected" and yet I'm still sat outside at the click and collect bay with a rumbling tummy after waiting 20 minutes. Avoid this awful service/franchisee at all costs . --- Once again it seems that this location is where the new staff are dropped into the deep end and left to fend for themselves. It seems that the newbies have little experience and no focus, so they drift around aimlessly, wondering what to do. Net result is a lot of waiting around, wondering why you can't go and collect your finished/wrapped food items yourself. If you're hungry, or or worse, hangry, go elsewhere. Updated as requested by Google: As time passes, things seem to be getting gradually worse. Your order will be delayed due to what seems to be preference for UberEats deliveries. Instances of orders being wrong or things being completely missing have reached a point where I chose to stop visiting this site completely.

Pretty average really as far as McDonald’s go. Fries hot and burger ok. But got to mention the awful coke! Took it back and complained but just got more of the same. But, on a positive note, the coffee was really nice. Also, the gents toilet, while clean enough, is very cramped - two blokes in there and you can’t turn around!! Parking plentiful as its in a shopping complex.

No dips that we asked for, no marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks, mayo in the burger when we asked for there not to be, half the fillings outside the burger. How hard is it to put such simple fast food together?

Ordered through uber eats missing items on order and McDonald's won't send out missing items so my 7 year old son is missing his food and they won't do anything about it

Food from this McDonald's, when ordered on Uber Eats, is consistently cold. It usually only takes 5 minutes to arrive, so it should not be as cold as it is, especially the hot drinks. Hot drinks do not go from boiling hot to lukewarm/cold in 5 minutes in an insulated bag In my two most recent orders, a hot chocolate was freezing cold (and I don't mean lukewarm, I mean cold) and a tea was lukewarm - I microwaved it for 30 seconds and it was still cold. On top of that, they regularly forget things like milk, and sauces when they're requested.

Burgers could be dressed better.

Worst experience ever for a McDonald's, to busy, no order for queues, people waiting blocking way to tills, order on electronic was impossible as unsure who was waiting to order or in queue or waiting for food.

Normally really good compared to others, but today must of been different staff / management. Order came wrong, chips were cold, got them replaced only to be the same. Hopefully better next time 🤔

Twenty-two minutes for a coffee and a bacon bun! Very disheartening to see all the cars zooming through the drive-thru while we wait at the counter.

Food came and was stone cold, both mine and my wife's burger and chips. Sons burger was ok as it was cooked to order. Took it back and asked for a replacement and they didn't know what to do, asked me why I didn't want to eat it cold. Shrugged their shoulders at me when I insisted again and kept glaring at me. If I'm paying 25 quid for 3 average burgers and fries then I want it edible. Priority given to delivery drivers you can see them pack the newest burgers for them and others sat there ages before giving to customers in the store.

Best McDonald’s Whenever we go to McDonald’s lately we go a bit further out of our way to go to this one as somehow the quality of food seems so much better. The staff make the burgers up properly with the right amount of sauce etc and they always taste fresh. The chips are always fresh too and the cartons actually have the proper amounts in. Also the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Very very busy, abit of a await but food and and drink hot. No room to eat in so eaten in my van.

The restaurant was not to busy, which made for a nice quiet tea. Food was lovely and hot when it came to our table. Was a bit disappointed they didn't have table's for the kids to play on.

We haven’t been in for a while. Was really shocked at how rundown the whole place looked. Windows and sills filthy. No atmosphere. Bins were overflowing and empty tables were covered with other people’s rubbish. Tables had not been wiped down ever. No staff anywhere to clean up. Finally one woman arrived. She had started her shift early to clean the mess. Meal was fine. Come on Mac Donald’s you’re making a fortune. Spend some money on your premises and more staff. Won’t go back until it sorted.

McDonald's is McDonald's, you get what you pay for, In this Redcar one tho please fix the screens in there(tablets) my kids love playing the games on them and not one was working and hasn't even been for a little while

took over 30 minutes for food to come then it was cold staff wernt bothered and neither was the manager to busy with food delivery than customers instore took 1 gentleman 30 minutes for 2 drinks and 1 burger shocking place and staff need training on how to approach customers

As per usual really slow and coffee was cold Cups contaminated with sticky substance

Took so long for machine to take payment that food was cold when collected. What is wrong with imprint card payment when tech fails, good old fashioned systems worked better than modern tech, and didn't need power or internet (oh, sorry it involved manual labour to push the swipe bar, that's considered slave labour these days, and the services of an accountant to process the invoices).

Was very busy ordered via the app and had a long wait for the food but once we got it it was good quality for a McDonald's.

Not happy. Went through the drive through, card machine not working properly. Took a good 10 min to get through. Not the staffs fault but not good. Asked the girl at the window for Salsa sauce and she assured me that she'd put 3 in the bag. Great. Big mistake didn't check. Got home no salsa. LIAR...REALLY MIFFED.

absolutely terrible customer service, all dips missing, including ones i payed for, and my burger bun was black, and the medium fries portion was tiny, hardly filled the holder, disgusting to say the least
