Caz, Ben, molly, shift manager with blonde hair and Charlotte are just some of the amazing staff at McDonald’s in Chesterfield, food was hot and amazing caz took attention to detail to make sure my order was done correctly and to an excellent standard, amazing job :)

My 7year old grandson commented on how kind “Charlotte” the manager was to the 2 ladies delivering food. I was given a slip to put this on McDonald’s site but wasn’t told i needed to keep my receipt. Well done Charlotte

Can't really comment on atmosphere as had a drive thru

Friendly welcome quick service food all correct apart from burger looking like it had been thrown in wrapper as a build your own burger food was OK

Appalling food always cold, alwaya waiting far to long for food, hops are always like warm or cold and dry

Three times i went through the drive through - don’t judge please. I always have sane breakfast order - double sausage and egg McMuffin meal - no egg - Coke Zero no ice. First of the 3 i had an egg. Second i was told to move to front of store. There were 3 cars in order space so I waited! After a few moments the lady from the second window came out and told me to wait in the carpark - she was obviously annoyed. I went to the car park. 12 cars followed behind with their orders. I was the six of six waiting. Then there was no drink. I told the lady delivering that i knew it wasn’t her fault but 10min was too long to wait for food. Another colleague delivered my drink. I didnt mean to be mean to the first lady. I was just exasperated about another 12 people being served before me. I understand they were short staffed but why were others served before the 6 waiting? The food was tepid too. It was 7.15am - ive had to wait while “just eat” has been sent out and ive been waiting in the bays once or twice

In comparison to other nearby McDonald's, this particular one is extremely lacking. The burgers seem rather lazily slapped together with little toppings and sauces. The fries taste un-salted and room temperature. It seems this way every time I order or buy food here. Food is food, but I would recommend a different McDonald's restaurant.

Bought take away big macs and fries which were cold. Rand and complained to manager who gave us 2 more meals free of charge. When we collected these meals they were also cold. Very unpleasant and chewy. Bad experience.

Typical good quality McDonald's fast service faster than the one in our town

We went with our married grandson. He had a wrap, which was very good. We had a Philly cheeseburger, which wasn't so good.

Just had your food from just eat. The food was vile and cold lot of money for rubbish like that

Drive through is a bit awkward to get to but service was good, fast and friendly

Last week they sat on the order for an hour before cancelling due to lack of drivers through Mc(non)delivery. Gave them another chance this week but wish I hadn't bothered as half the order was incorrect. Annoyingly they won't resend the correct items out but instead give a refund. This means if you want to reorder you have to pay the service fees and delivery fees again and no doubt incur a small order fee too.

This was the usual mac donalds experience with good polite staff

Received very bad customer service the worst I’ve ever had by 2 managers aswell one of them called will couldn’t get other ones name. I bet my life he’s had many complaints bet they were desperate for a manager no people skills whatsoever and very rude

Abit weird getting in to the place as we had to drive around the complex. Went through the drive through , so couldn't compliment on the atmosphere, but the service wasn't bad. food as always good, but had to wait but not too long , & service with a smile.

THE WORST and most confusing car park and drive thru - really poor design! The staff are nice enough.

An absolute shambles in this restaurant, took over 25 minutes for breakfast, the staff don’t seem to have a clue what’s going on and in store customers clearly don’t matter as much as drive through of delivery drivers.

The staff were so VERY accommodating...

It's getting harder and harder to understand what the staff are saying on the drive-through in the morning. Don't know about the day staff but the night staff are not the best at speaking English, think I will just wait till I get home for my caffeine fix in future

Not sure why it's classed as fast food. Order took 5 minutes and wasn't even busy. Fries only half full and cold.

Probably the best McDonalds restaurant in Chesterfield for food and cleanliness there's always staff keeping it clean and helping clear away trays etc. Foods perfect everytime to.

Sadly the staff appear incapable of reading an order and placing all the items you have paid for in a bag. Never leave without checking.

Would have been given higher marks, but hardly any sauce on bacon roll znd and very slow service through the drive through

Feels small and not much seating

Made me park in a bay for a sprite and now a caramel frappe.

High pavement salad that was just lettuce had no red onion so.put zero.in box offered fruit bag as alternative but was only a melon bag. Got fries were cold. Eager was helpfull lady tho

Ordered on just eat normally they are a very good service and very fast been waiting over an hour now and food still says preparing says the driver is at the restaurant doesn’t say delivering but gave me a delivery time? Meanwhile still says preparing order, rang them up to ask about it and he was rude and put the phone down on me don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

My friend recently ordered for us and our friends, Unfortunately, my main meal item was missing from the order despite him being charged for it. I attempted to call the 24-hour restaurant to rectify the situation, but the phone line kept bouncing. This issue caused an argument among me and my friends about who should pay for the missing item and it honestly ruined our Friday night. I didn't want to pay for another delivery, considering all the expenses and the cost of solo ordering. This is not just a one-time issue; missing items are common, and the lack of a reasonable way to contact and resolve the problem is infuriating. This is atrocious customer service, and something needs to be done to address these recurring issues.

Had food delivered only not my order. Tried ringing them and no answer then they took phone of the hook. Not impressed at all.

Would help if the staff they employed actually wanted to help their customers instead of passing them from pillow to post and telling them to drive around the drive through 3 times, when the situation could of be dealt with if one of them had just took the time to listen and help us.

Different times of day relate to different types of service. Food is ok, sometimes hot fries,mostly luke warm. 8th June 2024. Refurb. Tables have scanning QR codes. 1 team member stood out, prob over 60yrs old,extremely helpful and polite.

Having visiting this restaurant after it's recent reopening I purchase a Hatrick burger meal with large fries and drink. On getting home I realised that tI purchased and was provided with were over cooked that much so they had a burnt taste to them. They looked very dark in colour and were dry

Ordered on the drive thru, 14:05pm on 06/04 lady on till s1 was extremely rude and sarcastic. Manager John with ginger beard was very rude and impolite, very frustrating to be treated this way from two McDonald’s employees. Disgraceful and embarrassing, if you don’t like your job just quit.

One of the better McDonald's with the added bonus of ample on site parking. A 24/7 site as well which is perfect after finishing a night shift.

The staff was so helpful and friendly group of lads being a bit loud but thar wasn't anything to do with the service or how hood the staff was

Everytime I order from here online, they always send the wrong items or don’t send anything at all. Ring up and they say it’s not their fault but it clearly is. Disgusting won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Ordered from them a few times now, first time was 2 and a half hours late and the food was cold, second time they left one of the meals off the order and then made me go and fetch it even though it was a delivery as I don't drive so had to leave it, and the third time they left it out in the rain on my door step

Service is incredibly slow if you are wanting to pay cash.

Alma leasure is a brilliant mcdonalds however if you're going to get it delivered then do it through just eat and not uber.

Order on collection was wrong, when I told the staff they said you will have to go round the drive through again as I had paid for what was in the bag

Slow service, considered I only wanted a black coffee, staff talking amongst themselves and not in any way communicating or Recognising customer presence. All it needs is a descent manager who leads by example and the team would massively improve. Place was empty and has local competition so unless the same franchisee owns both local restaurants they need to review customer service. The lady who served me, as I was paying cash, did apologise for the wait but she cannot be blamed for poor management structure and accountability.

Okay they are taking the mick with the staff they have operating the drive thru maybe it’s just Cus I go at night but every time I go there’s a certain member of staff taking the orders who clearly does not have good communication skills. The past 3 times we have come he has got out order wrong 3 IN A ROW this guy hasn’t once got our order right we even explicitly ask him if he has put through what we asked for before we pay and he says yes, he must get several dozen orderes wrong a day like genuinely why do they keep putting him on like who’s sat in the management there and thinks yea he will be great on the drive thru clearly not since he can’t get a single 1 of our orders right

Ordered 4 cheese falt breads and 2 double sausage egg muffin meals. Received 2 cheese flat breads and 2 ashbrowns when I said half the order was missing the staff just roll there eyes at you and give you the attitude look worst mcdonalds in chesterfield

Poped I'm for a coffee and chat with irk colleagues. Maccies are great for this, and well known as a mid point fir work meetups. Ordered using the electronic data screen, and staff brought items to the table. Loads of free parking. Overall a really good experience

Had breakfast on 3 mornings,clean and tidy,hot food and friendly staff.

Fairly quick service for a change but the restaurant was very quiet.

Noteworthy for the helpful and kind lady who delivers to the tables, with a beaming smile too.

We have been to many mcdonalds but this is the mcdonalds that i have been to the most, seeing as it is closest to my house. Tmost of the times that we have ordered from here they have either given us the completely wrong order, missed off some of the items, or not customised our order how we ordered it.

Very clean and nice staff. Food was warm and the temperature in the building was just right. Bathrooms could do with a clean though.

Don't use the drive through, they constantly send cars to waiting bays that are already full. After driving round for 10 minutes to get parked to wait, the food was completely unedible. Completely disgusting slimey food went straight in the bin. 9/12/23 2:20pm

Ordered on just eat and waited and hour and half for it to assign a driver in which my food wasn’t even thought of being made. I cancelled the order and ordered pick up instead to which I got my items minus my triple chocolate cookie. Do not recommend as the management staff seem to not know what they are doing.

Very friendly staff but the building is a bit run down inside with a broken lock on the toilet and handmade signs advising of problems.

Service is always 10/10, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Think the young guy was called Aaron?? bringing food to the parking bays. Really smily and very helpful and was happy to run back for something when it had been missed. even when it was freezing out and he was only wearing a t-shirt. Great customer service.

Order was wrong when it arrived on delivery & food was cold

Had a nice McChicken crispy Chicken burger tonight and a nice ice cream but I wanted to thank the cleaning staff (not sure of their names one was Cynthia I think 🤔?). I had a coughing fit and she was so kind and helpful and got me a drink of water 💦. I really appreciated it and they were doing such a good job cleaning etc and even took our rubbish for us so I wanted to say a massive thank you your kindness didn't go unnoticed!! Thank you. ❣️❣️❣️❣️.

I have eaten from this mcdonalds multiple times now and every single order I've had has been cold without fail. I was in the establishment recently and I ordered one item which was a drink and was left waiting 20 minutes, I decided to ask where my order is as it doesn't take 20 minutes to make a drink, one of the staff members went to check if it had been made which it had and was left on the counter the whole time which says to me that I never would have received my order if I didn't ask. DO NOT RECCOMEND cold food and useless staff

Always busy but fast and friendly service

Cold inside, toilets out of order, ordered on the app but the collection points were full, not with customers cars but with user drivers cars. Burger & coffee were lukewarm. Fries were hot though.

For some reason just lately it's hit and miss with food, called in tonight, my order was totally wrong, sorted it out but they tried to give me extra drinks. Got it home (I live about 3 minutes away), I ordered a big tasty meal with a coke, I ended up with a stone cold burger, no chips and a diet coke, I threw it all in the bin. The staff are lovely and very helpful and no doubt would've sorted it if I went back down so I have no problem with them, I just think things must get confusing when it gets really busy.

Okay food and quick service. Food quite often lukewarm and needs warming up in the microwave.

Good movement in drive through, staff were attentive to customers and general accessibility for all. Shame about some of drive through customers quing for placement of orders. For some reason they couldn't follow basic road safety procedures, we have yellow x boxes no stopping on them, we have pedestrian crossings again used for stopping on. So parked in yellow boxes means cars can't leave car park making frustrated motorists going on to A61 (busy road) then we have pedestrians trying to cross to cinema "take their lives in own hands" one lane que to drive through restaurant other for exit off site as above. None of which is McDonald's fault all down to thoughtlessness of impatient motorists and unsupervised car parking area. 1/10/23 Pedestrians and car movement better this visit. Just shame about large wheelie bins left in disabled bay, may be weighting for lorry to empty them? not asked management why. Staff were as before friendly, efficient and helpful food good as well.

Last couple of times I've been here the food from the drive thru has come out cold and the staff working the drive thru have been rude

Half of my order missing, called but refused to acknowledge the missing items, called Uber and they were also a load of rubbish, where the hell do I go with this as I'm just being passed around from pillar to post, sent several emails to the store manager who hasn't replied, my partner's wrap was missing and I thought I was going to get murdered in my sleep, do not want to experience this kind of customer services anymore, to h*lol with Macdonald's....

Good was fast and piping hot. David who brought my food and sorted out an issue with my meal was superb

Since the refurb a couple of months ago the service has got worse. For a fast food place it's one of the slowest I've ever known.

This McDonald’s is Absolutley shocking, been to some terrible ones but this one tops it off, always missing off food off our orders and don’t offer refunds for the missing food, staff don’t care and food is cold and stale, highly advise you don’t go here, lots of other McDonald’s in chesterfield that would beat these pitiful standards (if they even had any)

Very pleased with the service we received. Freshly made food great service and very fast. I wish every McDonald will take example from this one.

Ordered for delivery, it did not arrive, spent 40 mins on the phone to uber eats who told me they had evidence it had been delivered and no refund. Would not share said evidence which would no doubt prove delivered to wrong address. Called the restaurant who said cannot help. No food, no refund. No way to complain about this or have anyone look into it further.

It's a McDonald's and a reasonable one

Absolutely awful service, got my order wrong 3 times and still got given the wrong burger. Had to correct the person serving me over 5 times and had to repeat myself a lot. When I went in to correct my order I got told he was “training” although he was on his own serving with no one shadowing him? which is wrong. Wouldn’t ever come back. Absolute joke.

Food wasn’t as hot and the entrance to the drive through is extremely long winded and totally unnecessary. It wasn’t busy when I used the drive through service and the woman at the other end of the microphone took a significant amount of time to even acknowledge my existence. Totally regretted being in the specific lane. Although I must add this is quite common in many of the drive thru services but definitely not great service either way.

By far the worst McDonald’s in Chesterfield. Serving staff have attitude and need to learn about customer service. A smile would be a good start. Male toilets are totally disgusting and smell of wee. Franchise should be removed!
