One of the better McDonald's with the added bonus of ample on site parking. A 24/7 site as well which is perfect after finishing a night shift.

The staff was so helpful and friendly group of lads being a bit loud but thar wasn't anything to do with the service or how hood the staff was

Everytime I order from here online, they always send the wrong items or don’t send anything at all. Ring up and they say it’s not their fault but it clearly is. Disgusting won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Ordered from them a few times now, first time was 2 and a half hours late and the food was cold, second time they left one of the meals off the order and then made me go and fetch it even though it was a delivery as I don't drive so had to leave it, and the third time they left it out in the rain on my door step

Service is incredibly slow if you are wanting to pay cash.

Alma leasure is a brilliant mcdonalds however if you're going to get it delivered then do it through just eat and not uber.

Order on collection was wrong, when I told the staff they said you will have to go round the drive through again as I had paid for what was in the bag

Slow service, considered I only wanted a black coffee, staff talking amongst themselves and not in any way communicating or Recognising customer presence. All it needs is a descent manager who leads by example and the team would massively improve. Place was empty and has local competition so unless the same franchisee owns both local restaurants they need to review customer service. The lady who served me, as I was paying cash, did apologise for the wait but she cannot be blamed for poor management structure and accountability.

Okay they are taking the mick with the staff they have operating the drive thru maybe it’s just Cus I go at night but every time I go there’s a certain member of staff taking the orders who clearly does not have good communication skills. The past 3 times we have come he has got out order wrong 3 IN A ROW this guy hasn’t once got our order right we even explicitly ask him if he has put through what we asked for before we pay and he says yes, he must get several dozen orderes wrong a day like genuinely why do they keep putting him on like who’s sat in the management there and thinks yea he will be great on the drive thru clearly not since he can’t get a single 1 of our orders right

Ordered 4 cheese falt breads and 2 double sausage egg muffin meals. Received 2 cheese flat breads and 2 ashbrowns when I said half the order was missing the staff just roll there eyes at you and give you the attitude look worst mcdonalds in chesterfield

Poped I'm for a coffee and chat with irk colleagues. Maccies are great for this, and well known as a mid point fir work meetups. Ordered using the electronic data screen, and staff brought items to the table. Loads of free parking. Overall a really good experience

Had breakfast on 3 mornings,clean and tidy,hot food and friendly staff.

Fairly quick service for a change but the restaurant was very quiet.

Noteworthy for the helpful and kind lady who delivers to the tables, with a beaming smile too.

We have been to many mcdonalds but this is the mcdonalds that i have been to the most, seeing as it is closest to my house. Tmost of the times that we have ordered from here they have either given us the completely wrong order, missed off some of the items, or not customised our order how we ordered it.

Very clean and nice staff. Food was warm and the temperature in the building was just right. Bathrooms could do with a clean though.

Don't use the drive through, they constantly send cars to waiting bays that are already full. After driving round for 10 minutes to get parked to wait, the food was completely unedible. Completely disgusting slimey food went straight in the bin. 9/12/23 2:20pm

Very friendly staff but the building is a bit run down inside with a broken lock on the toilet and handmade signs advising of problems.

Ordered on just eat and waited and hour and half for it to assign a driver in which my food wasn’t even thought of being made. I cancelled the order and ordered pick up instead to which I got my items minus my triple chocolate cookie. Do not recommend as the management staff seem to not know what they are doing.

Service is always 10/10, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Think the young guy was called Aaron?? bringing food to the parking bays. Really smily and very helpful and was happy to run back for something when it had been missed. even when it was freezing out and he was only wearing a t-shirt. Great customer service.

Order was wrong when it arrived on delivery & food was cold

Had a nice McChicken crispy Chicken burger tonight and a nice ice cream but I wanted to thank the cleaning staff (not sure of their names one was Cynthia I think 🤔?). I had a coughing fit and she was so kind and helpful and got me a drink of water 💦. I really appreciated it and they were doing such a good job cleaning etc and even took our rubbish for us so I wanted to say a massive thank you your kindness didn't go unnoticed!! Thank you. ❣️❣️❣️❣️.

I have eaten from this mcdonalds multiple times now and every single order I've had has been cold without fail. I was in the establishment recently and I ordered one item which was a drink and was left waiting 20 minutes, I decided to ask where my order is as it doesn't take 20 minutes to make a drink, one of the staff members went to check if it had been made which it had and was left on the counter the whole time which says to me that I never would have received my order if I didn't ask. DO NOT RECCOMEND cold food and useless staff

Always busy but fast and friendly service

Cold inside, toilets out of order, ordered on the app but the collection points were full, not with customers cars but with user drivers cars. Burger & coffee were lukewarm. Fries were hot though.

Different times of day relate to different types of service. Food is ok, sometimes hot fries,mostly luke warm.

For some reason just lately it's hit and miss with food, called in tonight, my order was totally wrong, sorted it out but they tried to give me extra drinks. Got it home (I live about 3 minutes away), I ordered a big tasty meal with a coke, I ended up with a stone cold burger, no chips and a diet coke, I threw it all in the bin. The staff are lovely and very helpful and no doubt would've sorted it if I went back down so I have no problem with them, I just think things must get confusing when it gets really busy.

Good movement in drive through, staff were attentive to customers and general accessibility for all. Shame about some of drive through customers quing for placement of orders. For some reason they couldn't follow basic road safety procedures, we have yellow x boxes no stopping on them, we have pedestrian crossings again used for stopping on. So parked in yellow boxes means cars can't leave car park making frustrated motorists going on to A61 (busy road) then we have pedestrians trying to cross to cinema "take their lives in own hands" one lane que to drive through restaurant other for exit off site as above. None of which is McDonald's fault all down to thoughtlessness of impatient motorists and unsupervised car parking area. 1/10/23 Pedestrians and car movement better this visit. Just shame about large wheelie bins left in disabled bay, may be weighting for lorry to empty them? not asked management why. Staff were as before friendly, efficient and helpful food good as well.

Last couple of times I've been here the food from the drive thru has come out cold and the staff working the drive thru have been rude

Half of my order missing, called but refused to acknowledge the missing items, called Uber and they were also a load of rubbish, where the hell do I go with this as I'm just being passed around from pillar to post, sent several emails to the store manager who hasn't replied, my partner's wrap was missing and I thought I was going to get murdered in my sleep, do not want to experience this kind of customer services anymore, to h*lol with Macdonald's....

Good was fast and piping hot. David who brought my food and sorted out an issue with my meal was superb

Since the refurb a couple of months ago the service has got worse. For a fast food place it's one of the slowest I've ever known.

This McDonald’s is Absolutley shocking, been to some terrible ones but this one tops it off, always missing off food off our orders and don’t offer refunds for the missing food, staff don’t care and food is cold and stale, highly advise you don’t go here, lots of other McDonald’s in chesterfield that would beat these pitiful standards (if they even had any)

Very pleased with the service we received. Freshly made food great service and very fast. I wish every McDonald will take example from this one.

Ordered for delivery, it did not arrive, spent 40 mins on the phone to uber eats who told me they had evidence it had been delivered and no refund. Would not share said evidence which would no doubt prove delivered to wrong address. Called the restaurant who said cannot help. No food, no refund. No way to complain about this or have anyone look into it further.

It's a McDonald's and a reasonable one

Absolutely awful service, got my order wrong 3 times and still got given the wrong burger. Had to correct the person serving me over 5 times and had to repeat myself a lot. When I went in to correct my order I got told he was “training” although he was on his own serving with no one shadowing him? which is wrong. Wouldn’t ever come back. Absolute joke.

Food wasn’t as hot and the entrance to the drive through is extremely long winded and totally unnecessary. It wasn’t busy when I used the drive through service and the woman at the other end of the microphone took a significant amount of time to even acknowledge my existence. Totally regretted being in the specific lane. Although I must add this is quite common in many of the drive thru services but definitely not great service either way.

By far the worst McDonald’s in Chesterfield. Serving staff have attitude and need to learn about customer service. A smile would be a good start. Male toilets are totally disgusting and smell of wee. Franchise should be removed!

Awful McDonald's that literally always serves cold food

Stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered the new Muffin with sausage, bacon, and egg with brown sauce meal, and the wife ordered the same with ketchup. Food was delivered to the table quickly by a very friendly and professional member of staff. Food was hot and clearly fresh, but unfortunately, it seemed like it had been thrown into the wrapper and dumped on the tray. The Muffin was in no way built. The bacon was just cooked, any less, and it would have been raw. The sausage patty was really greasy (the paper wrapper was black with grease from the grill) Once rebuilt, the muffins were nice. Overall, food was just ok, left alittle disappointed.

I never been to chesterfield before but this McDonald’s is the best I ever been too, the food is cooked beautifully compared to one’s I eaten at around Wolverhampton and surrounding areas. I really wish the McDonald’s by me was half as good as this one.

One very happy Grandson. Drove through. Food was piping hot.. completely hassle free. Friendly welcoming staff.

Order on the McDonald's app to table. Super fast and friendly service Oh, and the Frys were lovely and hot 🔥 Nice and clear Tables were cleared and cleaned soon after customers left. I ordered a Big Mac meal And cheeseburger. No cheeseburger given ! When I queried it I was told abruptly “ I can’t give you a free cheeseburger “ I wasn’t asking for a free cheeseburger, just the one I ordered ! Try putting your customers first it usually works

Absolutely terrible service made to wait at the drive thru for 20 whilst they did a system up date with one car in front of me and 7 or 8 behind. No one came out to explain was told at the window when I was paying. Asked for free chips with my order the lady was so rude said it’s not our problem asked for the manager a tall thick set ginger fella his attitude was even worse. Will never use this McDonald’s again!!! This is a zero star. They need customer service training or perhaps the sack!!!

I'll describe my Macmuffin meal .Half a cup of hot chocolate which tasted like water and a mcmuffin which was thrown together , absolutely awful .

I tried ordering on the app, but it wouldn't work, so I placed my order at the till. The only part of my order that was warm was the chips, which had just come out of the frier. You'd think that an order at 3 am would be cooked to order, but this didn't seem that way. I certainly won't be using this one for food again.

Been coming here for a couple of years, this is the best Mcdonalds around, the food come faster, hoter on cleaner tables and served with class, and no matter how busy the place is the staff all ways have time for all customers

Brought a big tasty with bacon at 12.55 am. I live just under five minutes away from the restaurant. The other items which I purchased had remained warm but the big tasty with bacon was stone cold and inedible... I feel I've wasted my money I will think very carefully before I purchase another McDonald's meal..not happy wasted £7.00

Mixed experience. Some of the order was really nice and well produced. This can not be said for the whole of the order. As this was a takeaway it was stowed in one of their unbranded paper backs. This caused carnage for the fries, they went everywhere causing the bag to become wet. The fries soaked into the bag and it was just a total mess. The burgers/ selects were very nice though and cooked to perfection and packed in a reasonable manner. Only 3 stars because the experience was fairly unpleasant and felt as though the food was not handled with care

The second time that they've given me less items than i ordered (Saturday 14 January at about 1730). This time around, i ordered 3 boxes of 20 nuggets at the Drive Through, and 2 medium fries. Before collecting the order I asked them to double confirm that the order was correct because they had shortchanged me the previous time. The lady confirmed 3 tomes that the order was correct, and a boy standing next to her also asserted that the order was correct. I opened the pack right there on front of their eyes, and there were 2 boxes of 20 nuggets rather than 3 boxes. She apologised but i reminded her that she had sworn that she had checked the order. I'm sorry this lack of integrity is becoming common with Macdonalds outlets. When i got home , i then realised that they had packed 1 pack of medium fries rather than two. I'm still fuming. You're better than KFC at cheating people of their food, but you need to pull your socks up

It's good, just like other McDonalds. Orders are messed up frequently though usually missing sauces and straws and the new parking system is a pain

Isn’t the best don’t think any McDonald’s knows how to even cook fries, decent McDonald’s thoe when not busy if busy waste of your time and money but this is the same with every McDonald’s not just this one

This restaurant is getting worse for its delivery service. We must have lost around £50 over the past 12 months because they don’t check the order correctly and send out the food with items missing. You ring the restaurant and all they ever say is “it’s Uber eats fault and we should take it up with them” however the receipt clearly shows the food order so how can it be there fault as they have no dealing with preparing and packing the food so fault lays with the staff packing and checking the receipt. The food order should be doubled checked with the receipt before been allowed to be sent out for delivery 😡 we won’t be using this restaurant again.

Yet again items missing in order. Not had one correct one . McDonald’s blame Uber Eats but they are making order up so obviously their error as not putting correct items in. Receipt always correct but order never correct. Frustrating !!!!

Wast of time doing a order for home delivery it comes cold and has things in it that you've asked not to have what a waste

I was in there 12.35am this morning after work, while I was waiting a member off staff, with headset on, was swearing about a customer commitments to the manager. The manager joined in the conversation, when they eventually got the food ready I asked to speak to the manager and told her I could hear all the swearing. She said that she would have a word with that member of staff and just walked away... No! apology, no! shocked I had heard the swearing about a customer, I'm more annoyed by the manager attitude and lack of customer service... Shocking behaviour should be addressed...

Always something in the order wrong. Ask for no cheese and it's wait in bay 1 for 5 minutes.

This Macs was so full of online orders!! So much that your wait for in restaurant orders just takes an age! I don't recommend it if you need a drop and go breakfast even at 8am on a Saturday. I feel the drive through is a priority too. Find the buttie shop just a minute down the road.

The food is as you would expect from a McDonald's fast food restaurant. Used their large touch screen to order food which can now be connected with your account on their app. Which is good as they offer various loyalty offers, discounts and points. Also noted my name printed on the receipt and they called it when the food was ready which was a nice personal touch. Seating was a little uncomfortable, too solid and low on the back support which meant staying for a longer duration not the best feeling. The place was busy too with lots of people queueing and ordering food standing up. There was no well organised space between those waiting for food and those sitting/eating. While there they had a couple issues with their ordering touch displays, but it was really good to see the manager sorting the issues rapidly and in a calm manner. Food and drink was served hot and had the right amount of crisp. Overall good experience, would recommend.

Part of my order was a DOUBLE cheese burger. When I had parked up I found only one burger :( Looked at the receipt and I had paid for a double :(

I had to go back as they forgot to put a friends big mac in the bag. Not happy as my food got cold.

Nicely located with easy to access from the M1 motorway into Chesterfield. The one way system round into the car park can be a bit confusing but easy once you get used to it... Open 24 hours with a drive thru but can be busy in the evening due to the location, having a cinema etc on the complex. Service is usually very quick and the staff are friendly!

They are no messing up just home delivery orders. They are messing up orders made in store as well. Even after I told the girl what I ordered and asked if she got it, she messed it up 🤣 like .... really? 🤣

Staff were friendly but we had to park and wait for breakfast and the parking and access is confusing!

We come here every Friday. Every Friday is greeted with poor service. Today they sent out a Fanta with a receipt that said “Sweet Chilli Wrap” What is happening here? Where are the managers? Are they qualified? It doesn’t seem so

Drive through is annoying to get to, having to go all the way around the cinema car park. Drinks were wrong so had to turn around and go back.

Used the drive through, took exactly 45 mins from getting there to getting my food, delivery drivers x 3 went in and walked out with 3 full bags while I was waiting.....very bad times indeed
