McDonald's - Cardiff Bay in Cardiff

Absolutely vile, we ordered food, took over an hour to come and not only did it come absolutely freezing!! but only 1 out of 4 came as a complete meal! absolutely appalling. It’s run by literal teenagers and not a responsible manager anywhere insight. Very Very poorly run!!

I ordered a plain triple burger and fries and when I took a bite and place the burger back down, I notice a centipede type inset crawl out of the burger. I quickly wrapped the burger back up so my daughter wouldn’t scream and returned to counter. I received an apology and refund. Would not return to this McDonald’s again. Maybe need to consider their food hygiene and storage.

Awful service nobody helpful, when went into the toilets they were dirty no toilet paper and smelt of marajuana, then my partner ordered a coffee which took 35 mins and when it came it was spilled and messy. Never going back

Took the grandchildren for a treat who love their toys in their meal deals. Both got toys instead of one wanting the book. It was too late to rectify when we noticed. On the whole the whole experience was fine.

Once again, purchased via drive through, got home and found items missing, at least in the past they answered the phone, now it rings off the hook then cuts you off. Would be nice just to get the basics right.... actually get what you paid for, failing that maybe answer your phone now and them. Back to BK I guess, they've not let me down yet.

How stupid could you be ? Went through the drive through and specifically requested for the tangy tomato dip with my cheese bites and told the worker that every time I order the dips are never in the bag. I receive my order and there's NO dip, why advertise cheese bits with a lovely tangy dip if it's hardly ever served that way! So frustrating, I went back in and asked for it again, what do I get given ? KETCHUP WTF. Sort it out

Probably the worst McDonalds we’ve ever been to. Manageress (has dark hair in a bun ) has attitude , if you go in as a family . Once you order everybody is asked to leave apart from one person to pick up the order . It does not say this anywhere on the entrance or inside . The toilets are also out of use . And staff just seem to casually sit around in the restaurant seats when not working . Also no toys available for happy meals , not good enough mcdonalds sort it out please . Notice we were the only people in here , I wonder why ?

I just went to take way with Wife and Son , the fries was soft and under cooked, my found couple red hair on his fries, disgusting made you want to vomit.

I witnessed staff holding their face mask away from their face when talking to each other, hands now contaminated from damp moisture the masks accumulate from breathing into them they then handled food, cups and plastic spoons without sanitising their hands. I complained to the staff member about what they had just done and the possible contamination they had caused, only to be told " I do not have covid". I could see the manager and thought I would complain...... No point at all as she was wiping sweat from her brow before filling up a load of fries into bags, who was the unlucky person who got that sweat wet bag. This place has the potential of to make ill all who enter. McDonald's you need to do so much better at these times and it is a shame I have always enjoyed a Mc D's and I like there Coffee but I will have to wait for a vacine first. My food that night was cold when served and I waited far too long for it considering the place was near empty, I was tad ill next day also! - if I was not starving at the time I wouldn't of eaten my food. Pack lunch all the way now... to keep safe.

No vegetarian options at all and they didn’t put this up on their website so we drove out of our way for no reason. It’s sad that wanting to eat an animal carcass is not an option...

Just got my fileto fish meal I’m glad I checked my order and the fries were cold and stail I told the lady who served me and she told me to park on bay and someone well come bring me new ones and wen they did bring me my fries they were hot but it’s the same one’s they just recooked it dut it wasn’t fresh and my fileto fish was just warm it wasn’t good at all i always have this meal on regular basis from different places I probably won’t go back to this place again

Very rude customer service from shift managers to customer care assistants. No welcome no greetings.They don't clean tables properly .

Asked for a fish o fillet instead was given a mc chicken burger when I do not eat chicken , was shocked to realise it was chicken when took a bite and spat back out , rang customer service to complaint , not the resolution I was looking for

Absolutely horrific, needs a drastic change in management! Concept of a drive through is lost on them, queue up order food then park in the car park for half hour waiting for it... 15mins.... for a regular coffee! Manager “Rohit” is disgraceful, took food back because it was wrong (ordered big tasty was given chicken selects) and he told me I was lying... my receipt said “Big Tasty” he then threatened to “push the button” if I didn’t leave..... I have no idea what the hell he was on about. When I said I either want my right food order or my money back he said he was calling the police and he was definitely pushing the button when he got back in (again... no clue!?) Quite happy to wait for the police he finally gave up and gave me my money back, albeit threw it into my car.... this man shouldn’t be allowed to work near food, people or money!

I have been numerous times now to order some drinks and ice creams from the drive thru. Firstly the staff are very ignorant and rude. It seems like they do not want to be in work. Secondly when i ordered any drinks or ice cream they always come up with the excuse the machines not working. I know some members of staff can not be bothered to refill or clean maintain the machines which causes this issue. This has happened on many occasions now. Mcdonalds need to recruit better compotent hardworking staff who actually enjoy their job and deliver great service. Their is one lady at the drive thru counter who maybe supervisor she is so ignorant many people have said that about this partcular staff member.

What can I say other than wow, been here twice now and it just gets worse everytime, the drive through staff are very ignorant and haven’t even listened properly to busy having “bants” with the others which might I add is dead banter anyway as I had to sit there for 15 minutes listening to it waiting for my order

Every time I come here (which is regularly, because it’s cheap and close to the gym) there’s a problem. They either can’t hear me or quite often don’t even realise I’m there. Service is too slow and the DT route is far too narrow for anything wider than a smart car and lined with coarse granite kerbs that have apparently been specifically designed to destroy alloy wheels. All this is compounded by the general lack of manners of the staff. I know teenagers are surly but would it kill them to say please and thank you??Nearly all of these faults come down to poor management so I suggest that the owners spend some time and money recruiting and training decent management staff.

I come here on a regular basis and the food is always cold, i tend to buy a 3 chicken select meal, but it takes 13-14 minutes, even when it's quiet. I only recommend if you like cold mcdonalds and waiting 15 minutes for your food

Great service..food was served hot, dining area and toilets was cleaner than most Mcdonald restaurants

I really enjoy Mcdonalds like the big macs but the best part is the ice cream oreo Mcflurrys are one of the best Mcflurrys

Was in there ten minutes and heard about 5 to 10 rude and disrespectful comments chucked at a guy called Curtis who was only trying to do his job bless him. And in front of all the customers, right behind the counter. Poor curtis. All i can say is Curtis deserves more than that job and those coworkers. Despicable. #freeCurtis #justiceforcurtis. Mcflurry was fantastic, amazing job Curtis well done. Cant say the same for the chips, whichever miserable and rude employee made them, they were cold. #makeCurtisCEO I only want Curtis to make my food from now on

I find this Mcdonald’s fast at serving the food but the staff most of the time are moody no smile and their tone of voice while taking the order is as if they are making us s favour, the food is what you expect from McDonald’s, very good and tasty

Came here with the kids after the cinema and I'm finding the new system less efficient. Once you have tackled the touch screen for your order which you are then waiting ages for the food as if you have just ordered a microwave in Argos and you wait for them to shout out your number. You have lost the customer satisfaction feel now, as you order the food yourself so you are not welcomed then not asked politley can I take your order. If you do continue till most of the time they are busy with sorting out all the orders.also I'm disappointed with no McCafe range at this store and was not given an explanation as to why you had no frozen strawberry drinks.
