McDonalds - Broadlands in Broadland

This mcdonalds is a joke! They never get an order right, everytime we come here the order is wrong or something is missing its got to the pint we now have to go in there to order just to make sure it's right.

We were staying at the travel lodge on the Norfolk Broads & McDonald's is a ten minute drive heading towards Norwich. It’s small but breakfast was not only good but the service excellent. Lots of workmen stopped for breakfast as well & no one waited long for their order. I’m going back in the morning before we head for home as there breakfast are second to none. ill be back.

ordered simple breakfast stuff. sausage and pancakes and bacon rolls. the wait was long. it was long. they got the order wrong. never mind. took it back to the hotel. food was cold and this was the replacement food after the mistake. cold. no from me

I visited McDonald’s just before my horrendous trip to crazy golf to fill my belly for my adventure ahead. I was greeted by Jamie from the Ram going through the drive through since I could not enter McDonald’s because of the large car park… my fear kicked. He offered to drive me round the drive-through and I asked what he would recommend. He recommended the “Mc’gang’bang” which was a double cheeseburger and a chicken mayo merged together! Great idea Jamie! Only £2.19! What a bargain! I was quite hungry so I also ordered a chicken nugget happy meal, which also came with blue little human toy who I took home with me and called Roger JR. He then proceeded to drop me to crazy golf when the nightmare began, but that’s another story. Overall McDonald’s were very helpful , but I will have to score them 1 purely for the big car park which confused and scared me on arrival. Roger

Not sure why people only review when they have something bad to say! I've been here a few times in the last month, always through the drive thru, and the food has been nice, and the young staff serving me have always been very friendly

I ordered breakfast on the app for there at 11 and they couldn't give it to me because it was the lunch menu, I ordered it at 10.50 this is absolutely disgraceful, horrible service

Good afternoon I use this mcdonalds on a regular basis due to its easy to have my dinner while working 2 Jobs I have rated brundall mcdonalds very highly over the last few years but the last 6 months its has rapidly gone down hill with A 10 to 15min wait each time I go The new drive through seems very slow The staff can't seem to talk to customer's

Great to see this restaurant supporting Blue light card. The sweet chili wrap is a winner also. £3.29 with a Blue light card

Clean and calm restaurant, nice friendly attentive staff. If you could not see the open plan kitchen you wouldn't really know much was going on(apart from beeping noises). If you must visit a fast food place then this is one that does its best.

I visited here for breakfast on the way up to Great Yarmouth with my husband. We have both been before. We did not go in to the restaurant and used the Drive-Thru. We did not have to queue very long at all. Our order was taken and although it took three repeats for the girl to put the order in correctly, the food we got was correct when it came. The car park isn't massive and the bays are oddly laid out, meaning a lot of people park over the lines and make it even harder to find a space. We were there early there so didn't struggle to find one. I normally like the coffee from McDonald's, but this one wasn't great. It was a latte and was way too strong and bitter for a latte (in my opinion) and didn't taste like they normally do. The bacon roll has changed shape so is now smaller, but it tasted exactly the same as it always has and very nice. I'd like the bacon crispier but that is personal taste and you couldn't make it to suit everyone. McDonald's hash browns are my favourite hash browns from anywhere. This one was hot and very nice. The sausage muffin thing was okay. I don't really like them but it was my husband's order and he enjoyed it. The restaurant is in a great position between Norwich and the coast and is always very busy,. It's not gourmet food. It's good value. As long as my McDonald's meal is hot and I'm not waiting half an hour for it, I'm happy. We would go again if we want a quick bite.

I ordered 3 large chips with some other food at the drive through...got home to discover the most tiniest portions of chips.A total rip off!!!!!.How hard is it to give the proper size.

Went through drive through, nice man named Franchesco handed out our food. Food was tasty and hot, fries were crispy and fresh.

I just like to say that there was a couple of really nice & helpful people at your establishment one pointed out the problem with my car & helped me to reverse out of the drive through. The other kindly took my registration in case I had to leave my car parked there and checked I was OK. Both were lovely and helpful sorry I don't know there names but I can't thank both these ladies enough 😃 my car is red Ford fiesta.

We had a bit of an issue with the App but have to say Lei is an absolute credit to this McDonalds venue. She checked on us (we had been waiting in a bay for a while) came over, chatted to find out the issue, got someone to come and sort it, all with a kind friendly manner. A staff member to be acknowledged as a credit to them.

Attached this mc Donald’s and was refused service as have a van towing a digger as working nights and unable take throu drive thou spoke to manager and was told that I wouldn’t be served I explained that I couldn’t get throu with the van as over height and they was extremely rude waist of time never going there again to be spoken to like a bit of dirt never had this being a issue any where else

My wife ordered a Chicken Legend with spicy Mayo and a happy meal with fruit bag for our son, we got McChicken Sandwich and fries, my order and my daughters order was right. We had to queue at drive in at Longwayer McD’s to get it exchanged showing then the receipt with our correct order.

We stopped here for breakfast after leaving Brundall marina. As this is probably the world's most famous chain its difficult to comment on layout or food. The only difference is every the staff, here they were friendly, helpful and very Covid conscious (important in these strange times).

Visited today for a meal. Took the food away to eat round the corner. Bland, tasteless and not very warm. Just remembered why it has been so long since we bought McDonald’s. Obviously looking at the queue of Customer’s ordering someone must like it. On leaving you can’t fail to notice the overflowing bins.

As soon as this has opened there is rubbish everywhere again. So sad as all over the countryside (Gt Plumstead, Witton, Postwick etc) it’s horrible. Please hire more staff to help with the amount of litter this mcdonalds creates.

This McDonald’s has now opened, and I have just remembered why I don’t use it, order mess up again, 9 out of 10 times the order is incorrect, today was supplied a Big Mac when I asked for chicken selects, not much different

Went on a rare visit as my house was being viewed by a prospective buyer. Greeted by the friendly sweeper. Chinese girl. Noticed how she greeted everyone in the same way. Order placed and found a table even though it was busy. As soon as the Chinese helper saw us try to sit down she immediately ensured it was wiped down and swept. My wrap was very fresh, big and full of salad. My only small criticism is that the jalapenos were vinegar and tended to dominate. Chips were plentiful and tasty and hot. Will go again sooner. It's a pity the customers couldn't find the bins outside. Someone had slung their tea bags and sugar packets on a parking space. Not McDonalds fault at all.

Burger rubbery, not enough sauce and not central. It was welded completely off center by 2cm...not hard to do. Too dry and inedible. Fruit muffin. Dear God why do you take photos and make the thing inedible. There must be a law against it. The lovely looking thing on line was nothing like the thing in my bag. No fruit, the lovely rasberry jam was a few injection holes with jam. The crunchy granola top was soggy. Totally disgusting. Oh yeh and we had to go back to get the desserts after waiting 10 mins for it! Disgusting food and rubbish service. Dont go there. I wont.

I went into brundall mc Donald's today for breakfast. Even though they were busy they were all on hand to get the queues down, well done.

Will not eat there again. Every time we go the food is always cold. It took three attempts to get a big Mac last visit. First one cold, second one no burger, third one two burgers together. All the food is cold. Cost not cheap anymore to eat at McDonald's. When you do complain most of the managers just look like they have left 6th form and have no management skills. When I complained last time about the cold food 'I was asked what did I want' Hot food would be a good start!. The other thing that annoys. The restaurant is not that big, seating is sometimes is full yet they still take your orders and you have no where to sit. So your food is cold before you eat it or you have to eat in your car. This should be monitored more closely.

This place is a credit, staff always helpfull, good mannerec. Nothing to much trouble, and food is always hot.

I've recently had problem after problem with this McDonald's, we always now check our order over, if you have to drive back around you're lucky to get an apology. I waited 30 minutes for a small order last week, I parked up and went back around twice, I had three members of staff be incredibly rude and on the third drive through I got a sorry and my food..

A group of 8 of us arrived for a quick lunch into an already busy lunchtime rush. We were warmly welcomed and helped by a lovely staff member unfortunately I did not get her name. The food was typical maccy d's but the service excellent

I went last night to order food for my partner and myself. 2 x big tasty with bacon meal. I stood waiting for 8 mins, the whole time I watched an already made big tasty sitting on the side (not even under the heat lamp). Sure enough that was then put in a bag for me to have. I asked to check the temperature of the burger and when I did it was stone cold! I sent it back to a very rude young girl (didn't get her name) who then tutted and rolled her eyes at me and snapped "you will have to wait for another". I told her to take the chips away as well and get me fresh when my meal was ready as she had left them on the counter for me to take! When I did get my meal and took it home the big tastys didn't have bacon in them, which I had asked and paid for and my burger was covered in burnt scrapings from the grill. I obviously couldn't eat it and binned it!! Disgusting food, disgusting service! I won't be going back and I'm currently trying to find where I can complain about this matter!!

Went yesterday as I go twice a week for a double saus and egg muffin non meal and one bacon and egg mcmuffin, what I was charged was at least ten per cent more than last week, I put this to staff who were very rude and ubrupt, said different stores charge different, I argued I paid less three days before but was told today you are paying this, then told as in drive through I had to move... From £4.89 to£5.59...even the budget would not increase it this much. Discusting

Lunch with my 3 year old daughter, Always clean and tidy Staff are always very polite and smiley. Sat at the interactive table in the corner, kept my little one busy lol

Some Mc Donald’s have it, some don’t, this one does not. The staff seem to never be able to get an order right, so I suggest if you’re eating it, before you leave you empty your bag out and double check everything is in and correct!

Lovely staff, only 1 speaker at drive through, some queues when busy. Food hit and miss sometimes...

Unfortunately this is getting worse here. On my last two visits I have had either cold chips or a cold burger, both times the place has been quiet. On two occasions I have only had half the ingredients in my McFlurry. Is it that hard ?

If you like very cold burgers with your fries and as cold as your coke with ice this is the drive thru for you

I know- Maccy D's are everywhere- but what better place for a cappuccino at a good price after a hard day's bird-watching? As always, the staff are a delight , the premises are spotless, and the coffee is excellent.

I recently visited this establishment and was served by a girl named dannielle , it was appalling service , she was incredibly rude and the food was uneatable I will never visit this certain one ever again , and if I was a manager I would seriously look at the way my staff treat customers , I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner in my life!!!!

The pokiest McDonalds I ever eaten in, attached to a Shell garage, but convenient location on the A47. Friendly staff, clean toilets. Standard McDonalds 'grub'.

Now, I hardly complain but I have worked in fast food as well as mainly retail work and my boyfriend has worked throughout hospitality for 4 years now so we both definitely understand bad customer service and what you can and cannot do. The food was good don't get me wrong and the woman we had at the tills was lovely. We both ordered a student cheeseburger with what we ordered (unknowingly to us and the lovely girl behind the counter you had to have a meal for each of these) We had ordered one meal and a BLC, chips and reg coca cola, right, normal order for two people. So there we were waiting while the manager saw the order and then straight away confronted the girl on the till (we were not in front of the till at this point she was serving anther customer) and said about her wrong doing quite loudly, I mean we knew what was said which was pretty embarrassing for her. My boyfriend then picked up the order from the manager who then said how we 'weren't allowed' the second cheeseburger and did not accompany it with an apology for the mistake or a different substance in place of this cheeseburger that was definitely on our receipt. Now, in KFC we did not count chips or popcorn chicken because it was impossible you cannot count how many fries come in and out of the fryer, if an order was wrong we would apologise greatly and give them a complimentary portion of fries, popcorn chicken or a drink. This was not offered here or given, not an apology or a replacement. Although this sounds greedy it's not, the awful customer service angers me and I feel like it needed to be mentioned, I couldn't care less about extra food. Someone seriously fire that manager or put him straight on how customer service works and how good customer service does go a long way.

Estábamos de camino a Yarmouth cuando decidimos parar y conseguir algo aquí en blofield. En primer lugar, el aparcamiento es un dolor en la parte trasera. Una vez aparcado nos saludó por un tonto con una lavadora a presión lavado el camino road, spray de agua va a todas partes y que no le importaba. Las mangueras de la lavadora de presión no se puso fuera del camino, en vez de simplemente esparcidos por la puerta. No hay señales de advertencia para lavado a alta presión, no hay peligro, no húmedo viaje cinta señales piso. Absolutamente nada. Una vez dentro pedimos nuestro desayuno. La verdad es bastante sencillo. 1 x bacon sencillas sin salsa. 1 x tocino con ketchup. 2 X doble salchicha huevos mcmuffin n comidas con café blanco. ¿Qué podría ir mal jajaja. Nos dieron 2 rollos x tocino con ketchup y 2 comidas mcmuffin con negro café jajaja. Me llevó de vuelta a explicar y fue como acabo de preguntarle a mover montañas, ja ja ja. Yo entonces esperamos 15 minutos para el nuevo orden, me registré mientras estaba yo frente a esta señora, ahora yo tenía 2 rollos simple tocino, huevo 2 bacon n comidas sin mcmuffin croquetas de patata y dos cafés blanco. Obviamente lo he pedido para poner a y era como si todo el mundo esta señora iba a acabar, jajaja. Finalmente otros 15 minutos más tarde tuvimos el orden correcto. No vayas si tu prisa o te gusta el servicio profesional. Evitar.

Love visiting this branch as its a little tucked away with small car park . This means that due to its size even on a busy visit the queues are not long.Staff are excellent and polite . Always clean inside.

This place is usually too packed so we don't bother. We were able to park so we went in. It was packed but staff were very helpful. We ordered from the boards and food was bought to our table. It was like all other McDonalds food. Tables were clean and had good atmosphere. Toilets weren't great but overall better than most McDonalds.

Love this McDonald's, u can eat outside, loads of tables inside, staff are friendly, and the food is always good

I would never bother reviewing a McDonalds restaurant however this is so poor its more of a warning to others.Tables were filthy food on floors. We had to clean the table before sitting down and seemed to be staff walking around aimlessly with out a clue of what they should be doing.We got our food and mine was cold. How do you get a burger that cold is beyond me. We have been here a couple of times just to pop in as arriving home late and its never changes. Last time we will use this place.

Good McDonald's the food is always pretty much spot on. If there was a snag - I have noticed a few flies in there from time to time but never near the food prep areas...and I'm talking like two or three near the tills hovering about.

Dropped in as passing and had lunch. Bit quiet, for McDonald's at least, greeted at the door and asked if we'd used their touch screen ordering system. Manager showed all the system, very friendly, great service and food was good and hot.Great work, as good as any McDonald's I've visited.

This is ridiculous. How can the staff get simple food orders so wrong. I just don't understand. I asked for 3 items and they managed to cock it up. The place was totally empty as well. Not going back. waste of time.

Like all McDonalds this restaurant has the tried and tested fast food formula. The food is what you would expect - nothing fancyThe only way the restaurant could improve is a bigger car park, especially at lunch time when workmen fill the spaces with their vans.

We were on our way home from Norfolk & Norwich Hospital and it was getting late (9pm) so we decided to stop here as it was still another 45 minute drive to get home and that would be a bit late to eat, my first impression was that it looked clean and quite smart, so a good start, we were the only people in there and service was swift, to be fair the food was as good as you'd get in any McDonalds, it was the service, or should I say lack of service that was the problem, my wife ordered coffee and was told the milks were on a separate stand, which they wasn't so another trip to the counter, my wife's meal came with a "dip" and was duly asked what flavour she wanted, but they forgot to include it with the meal so another trip to the counter. Now I counted at least 10 members of staff, plus a manager who was quite vocal and loud telling the staff to get on with some work, but between them all, no milk and no dip! Considering we were the only customers how could they have got it so wrong, so McDonalds get your act together and train your staff a bit more, also I'd recommend telling your managers that customers do not want to hear them shouting at staff members, a quiet word would be more productive!Very disappointing!

Visit here fairly regularly with family and am really disappointed to find that they have recently cut down the already limited vegetarian selection!Instead of a wrap, burger or deli sandwich, you can now only have a burger!! Seriously.... From dozens of things on the menu, to have one vegetarian option is ridiculous!!!! Also the fact that there is no vegetarian option for happy meals. Do McDonald's really think in this day and age, there are no vegetarian children? Come on, it's the 21st century!Also when we visit there is always something wrong with the order.... Either sauce when we ask for none in a burger or missed something off the order or meat in a veggie breakfast wrap!!!Not impressed and won't bother again if there is nothing to choose from.

As McDonalds go this is a good outlet. Most McDonalds are well run and serve their clientele efficiently. This outlet is no different. The food is served in a timely manner and the food is always acceptable. As all McDonalds are fixed price it is unfair to mark Broadlands down for pricing and to be honest it's not expensive.

We ate here on our night time journey home from our holiday a couple of weeks ago. It's a pretty well organised Maccy D and you can place your order on a massive touch screen as you go in. All the usual mcd stuff. We liked it.

Always always great, the most un-corporate McDonalds you will find, like a village cafe, but McDonalds!

One of the best McDonalds I have been in for cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff and of course the food which is always served with a smile. Always have to pop in for my burger when in Norwich.

I have been in the MacDonald's many times at brundal and the staff are always very efficient and friendly the food is always very good and hot and well presented and the hosts is always keeping up with the demand for empty clean tables well done a good asett to brundal.

I am a local from Brundall and everytime I go into the restaurant I am greeted by the friendly staff in the seating area and behind the counter. I am quite the fussy eater and they always manage to get my order correct. The layout of the restaurant is very unique, a bit like Argos. When I get the food it is always hot and the fries are slightly salted just how they should be. The managers are good and very attentive. I have witnessed a couple having got the wrong order and a manager changed it straight away and offered a free dessert to make up for the trouble. Overall a very good restaurant, copes well with the peak times (it gets very busy) and very good and well trained staff.

Nothing more to say gave vegetarian a chicken wrap ! Simpering manager blonde guy didn't even apologise properly ! Not service I'd except from Mcds as usual there very good

I've been here several times recently on my way home from Norwich and each time something has been wrong with the order (most recently I was given the wrong drink).That said the restaurant is always clean and tidy (whenever I've been there), service is pretty quick and the staff are always friendly. It's just a pity they can't get the orders right.

What is so difficult seriously how can you order a quarter pounder with cheese but not get cheese in it sort it out for god sake

Good service, food was prepared especially for us, and arrived quickly.Just a word of warning, this is almost always busy, so you may not be certain of getting a table.

I really dont know why I keep going here food always cold, they take orders knowing there is no where to sit and everytime I have been in I have had to complain about the food being cold. What also does amuse me is that the managers are only about 20...at that age how do they know how to manage..

My travelling companion wanted to eat here, ok i thought they've been advertising healthy food, let's try it. Modern clean and bright inside and out. No sign of healthy menu so thought I'd try a burger as recent adverts claim 100% beef. Completely tasteless and cold. We ate in so why cold food? I tried 2 chips and so salty . at home calorie counter on website proudly claims over 8th calories. Total of 1060 calories, where was the healthy option. Long queues to buy here and packed inside, I do not understand why.

We used the drive thru and they really need to ensure that the menu boards are clean and readable. The staff also need to speak a bit clearer and at least pretend to like their job..that's the bad bit. On the plus side the car park is clean. We observed a rather lazy couple throw their rubbish out of their car window rather than use the drive by bin and all credit to this place a member of staff was out there in minutes to clean it up. All in all I'd use again.
