Food is extremely poor, service just as bad, atmosphere...was freezing cold

The fries and burger were quite cold and didn’t enjoy because of that .

Food came missing half my food and cold

Delivery driver made it difficult to give me my order even when I supplied the delivery code and my telephone number, therefore allowing my food to reduce in temperature.

Service Area off the A1/M1 link. Always plenty of space to park. Seating area large & comfortable. Plenty of choice for eating in or take out from Nando to Greggs.

Don’t deliver what was ordered

Drink had been spilled in the bag, chips were cold and to top it all of my burger was missing the bottom bun....honestly can't believe how it could be missed

One of us had a meal the others didn’t turn up.

Ordered a large big mac meal. Got large Fanta, large chips but no big mac. Enough said really.

When to the drive through, had to wait in a bay for 20 minutes because they forgot my order lol.

Standard McDonald's shocking service had to wait ages

My fault as i should of checked my mcdonalds bag (they come with a seal on the bag) - i accepted the order from the driver and when i got it in the house i realised the seal was broken - he stole a mcflurry and drink... wont be ordering again

It's very rare I go through the drive through here and have the full order come through. Normally it's stuff like them not bothering to put dips in. Today, not only did they leave us at the drive through order point while 2 cars arrived and went through the other one (I eventually got annoyed enough to change lanes) the completely forgot a double quarter pounder, effectively stealing £6.76. I tried to call up to complain, more than 5 times, but their phone number just rings forever and no one bothers to pick up. Not to mention, half the time their card machines just reject my card. I've been using it for years, but I'm at the end of my tether.

Takes forever to deliver, I finished work at 12 at night needing food before I go to bed ready to work the next day, posting this at half 2 in the morning still no sign of food even coming, personal opinion absolutely useless

I have visit a handful of times since the refurb, on each visit the time taken for the food to reach the table/navigate the drive thru process, has gone up considerably.

Quoted delivery time was 15 minutes when ordering. Food arrived 1.5 hrs later. Cold. Delivery driver didn’t want to know. Shocking service and quality.

Missing items, took far too long

Food was shocking burnt and rock hard buns, no chips with the meals.

no straws missing most of the stuff that was meant to be on the burger chips were Luke warm

Simply the worst McDonalds around!! Ever since they reopened after the extension they have gone to extreme lengths to find the slowest, most unskilled, untrained & incompetent staff ever!! The new layout of the building now hides the kitchen so you can’t see the quite possible only one staff member cooking! It is baffling how long you have to wait for “fast food” and then you will have to deal with the fact that half of it is wrong!! The staff just walk around like zombies!! Avoid at all costs and use another McDonalds somewhere else!! Unless you can wait an hour for fries!! Definitely don’t order delivery as you will have to drive yourself to the “restaurant” to collect the rest of your food!!

The burgers were not met to our dietary requirements and the chips were freezing cold and hard we could not eat the food. Disappointed

I never leave negative reviews on here but wow, my order was just...there was no warmth at all, it was proper cold, like it'd been put in the fridge cold. it was so unpleasant to eat that I had to bin it. not happy :(

The food it generally good from this branch but they're not the quickest to serve you. I waited 18 minutes for a coffee ☹

The staff were helpful and the place is kept very clean. The food though is not for me, chips that taste like cardboard.

When the food arrived it was covered in split coffee, the driver took the food away but marked it as delivered

turned up 45 minutes late, missing items and was stone cold, no dips, no straw offered £6 back from a £30 order. abysmal

Food barely warm. Chicken mayo and chips including happy meal chips feel and taste like they’ve been sat out for a while. Chips were cold.

As usual, this branch of mcd got the order wrong.

Don't go around twelve o'clock at night , they were doing computer back up or something they said and half an hour wait was to be expected if the computer didn't go down. So left and went to eastley road, service no better there , not good advert for macdonalds

Odd to say. But it is spotless here. More so than normal. The staff are all exceptionally polite, professional and friendly. Most of all they appeared happy to be there. I know it's McDonald's but felt pleasantly different

Chicken in my burger was mushy, fly in my mcflurry.

My coffee had spilled in his bag completely ruined my order except a Hamburger why have i not refunded or this money added to account its a disgrace you have ignored my complaint

Waited 25 mins in the drive thru then got to the window and had to be parked up. Sat and waited another 10 mins. Our food was brought out in a big bag and dangled over the wall to be given to us. How are you supposed to keep it warm when you can't even close the bag.

Big Mac burgers overcooked. Stingy amount of salad and sauce. Fries tasteless. Worst maccy D I've had in a long while. New decor and Layout soulless due loss of Windows, terrible lighting and Bad colours

Severely understaffed and extremely slow. People have been waiting an hour for a single burger yet deliveroo people are coming in and out periodically. Avoid if you’re hungry, chips were severely undercooked due to them rushing it.

I always get short ordered by this restaurant. If your fries are not cold, then something is missing. This evening you topped yourselves. Cold fries and a missing double qtr. So not only do I have to suffer with poor service they now steal from you too. I'd go to KFC if I were you!

Happy meals were good but mcspicy was rock hard and wrong milk shakes were sent

Abysmal quality, both kind kids burgers dried out and burnt and unable to eat so binned them. One was a cheese burger with no cheese! Chips were ok once microwaved as stone cold. Drinks were the only thing they didn't mess up.

As someone who quite often looks for a meal in a hurry due to the ever increasing demand in one's time, McDonald's will occasionally be visited and usually in the form of takeaway. I like the ease of ordering food from the app, which I do in advance, then collect via their drive thru. From time to time, if we order food which has lots of changes (ie no sauce, no pickles etc etc) then we're instructed to wait in the car park. This is fine, as the staff bring the food out to the car for you. As I've got two children, both of which have Autism and ADHD, it's great because it saves having to go inside to what usually is quite a busy and very noisy environment. I get many requests from my children to dine inside, but I'm all too well aware that they'd struggle to cope in such an environment. I will say, it would be nice to see McDonald's recognise the ever increasing numbers of customers that come from a similar walk of life and perhaps introduce measures that will help said customers improve their access to the dining area. Many supermarkets for example, have introduced 'quieter periods' into their opening times, as a starting point. It would be good to see McDonald's take that idea and build upon that, though I realise in the world of business, can be difficult to implement. In terms of food, it's OK serves its intended purpose and is consistent. My youngest daughter is ARFID and sensory sensitive, subsequently can be difficult to manage her diet. In times of extreme difficulty, we will turn to McDonald's to feed her. It is one of her few safe foods. This mainly being (I believe) down to the fact that the food is so 'uniform'. It never changes, you can visit many branches and you will get the exact same product, from one branch to the next. Great for ARFID sufferers. Not so great, if you're like me and prefer your food a little hotter.

Went to the drive thru and recieved the wrong order when we looked what was in the bag. I went into the restaurant which is a pain when you go through the drive thru, I explained we'd got the wrong order and they said they knew they'd messed up and gave me a bag with the right order. I took it back to the car only to discover it still wasn't the right order. Not impressed and won't be going back. Get your act together it's not rocket science!

Shocked!! What a rude bunch of ill trained people. I waited at kiosk 2 in the drive through and not 1, not 2, but 3 cars orded and drove on from kiosk 1!! I questioned the rude lady at window 1 about this and she said they have 2 people on drive through...she was the only one I could see.... No please....no thank you....very miserable sounding bunch. Where's the customer experience training??

Ordered 2 happy meals online for the kids. A plain burger and a cheese burger meal. Both burgers were dried out and burnt. The cheese burger had no cheese! Both unfit to eat. Fries stone cold but ok to eat after heating up. Only thing they didn't mess up were the bottled drinks. I guess I should have expected this when they employ company in-house qualified only teenagers to cook meals. The manager should be ashamed by the quality of the food leaving the premises.

Cold food, waited ages for it had to go back and have a drink replaced and a burger as bread was stale on the top it seemed. Ended up replacing the burger but it was the same (bad batch of bread possibly. i ate it because I had somewhere to go and couldn't wait anymore. I won't be returning

Hot food (double cheeseburger and medium fries) arrived cold. Microwaved them to get them warm again. Colton McD’s isn’t that far from the house, even with other deliveries being dropped off, so having even warm food delivered isn’t unreasonable

Delivery on time. Food flat cold, no straw and no sauce. For nearly £25 it’s a bit of a joke

The guy on drive through it took him 8 mins to ask our order he had to ask supervisor 3 times if there not trained don't let em operate it either that or he was smoking baccy baccy we ended leaving he was that bad

I did not receive my order. I contacted just eat for them to say there is nothing they can do as the delivery driver has tried to contact me. But i did not receive any phone calls. I have a ring door bell which proves it was not delivered.

Waited 15 minutes in the bay after ordering from drive through, order was wrong had to go into the restaurant to get it changed still waiting for drinks after 25 minutes had to go into the restaurant again to get them myself. Will not go again.

Fries revolting and went in the bin. Forgot to put some of my order in. Manager slow and wearing the dirtiest shirt I have ever seen. Burgers were okay-ish. Sometimes okay when the female manager is on and all girls serving. The men tend to be piss poor at the job. Sadly from my experience.

Nothing but problems every time I order from this McDonald’s! Food missing every time, full meals missing. No sauces, no straws. Will not be ordering again it is shocking!

Ordered a mc rib meal , got sent a double cheese burger and 3 chicken legends! I don't eat cheese , im highly allergic to it. Why not just reject the order from there end if they don't have the mc rib in stock?

husbands food didn't turn up at all. it's not the first time we have had problems with this particular McDonald's (both online and in person). I feel like no care is being made when checking that everything in the order goes into the bag before it is being sent out. I really don't like complaining but this is the straw that broke the camels back.

Fast table service, cold food, the first time in 2 weeks that I have been in the United Kingdom...

The online app crashed, so I had to go to the counter! 5 minutes, being the only person waiting to get served, I gave up and went to the KFC next door! And I thought it was bad here before the refurb! Never cone to this McDonald's again

Order was wrong. A bacon cheeseburger was completely missing and at £4 a pop that’s not acceptable. Also, I ordered a Big Mac without sauce and it came with so couldn’t eat it. At these prices, these days, to get such fundamentals wrong is a joke!

Everytime we order from this McDonald’s it arrives cold. Always items missing! No explanation from the restaurant why their staff are so incompetent. Just eye rolls. Will not order from this store again.
