McDonald's in Wandsworth

Did not realise it was possible to be this slow and call yourself a "fast food" restaurant. Genuinely painful. Food was ok.

3 times I've been to this McDonald's and 3 times there's been issues, worst McDonald's I've ever been to in my entirety, I studied professional cookery for 3 years and worked as chef for 10 years, I don't believe it's run by professionals, just people that turn up for a wage at end of week

one of the slowest McDonald's in London. Sunday, not many people, order placed at 10:55, received at 11:15.

Amazing service ,came a few penny short and couldnt get the sauce but the lady gave them to me either way

A small McDonald's, they sometimes close the top floor for no apparent reason, resulting little to no seats. They have an automatic door so as soon as someone walks past it outside, which is quite often, you'll get the breeze which makes sitting on half of the seating options uncomfortable. Overall it's a nice place though, takeaway would be fine. Be aware waiting times can be quite long when busy.

This McDonald’s is one of the worst ones I have ever experienced!! The food is cold and the services is disrespectful the food took 25 min to come which is absolutely unacceptable. While waiting for my order I saw another individual complaining about the wait time and how this is a continuous advent. They worked through the orders in the wrong formation keep in mind there was probably 5 people waiting for food with multiple employees just standing around.

Slowest McDonald's in the world

Although it's a small store, the staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the upstairs were closed and there were lots of customers waiting looking for seating area. Besides that it was a good place to ear after a day out 👍🏿

Wait, time is way too long for a McDonald's. By the time you get your food, it's cold. This afternoon, I got a burger that looks like it was sat on by one of their staff members. I don't bother trying to question it anymore as more than half their staff don't know English. It's not good enough for a busy area. The manager there needs to get the boot

Service is incredibly slow, and there is a clear bias towards prioritising delivery orders. If you’re planning to eat food in less than half an hour, I’d look elsewhere.

Quite busy place, been there 3-4times, always very noisy and not many places to sit. Last time got water instead if the sprite.. not too sure why was that.. ketchup was out of stock in the mcdonals :/ Dirty tables.. and staff were overtired. No smiles... no greetings.. sad to watch people like that. Always been happy to eat in there..

0 stars if there was an option to give them one, ordered through ubereats first order missing the entire meal and had a happy meal, was offered a refund to tried again and every item was incorrect. I have no idea what the staff there are doing, the receipt is attached to the bag it really doesnt make sense unless they can't read.

You order food through the app, you see your number on the screen in the status being prepared (gray), after 5 minutes your order goes into the status ready (green). When you go up to pick it up they say “it will be here soon, wait.” You wait 5 minutes, 10 minutes. 15 minutes... In the mobile application they already wrote thank you for ordering, give feedback, but you haven’t even seen the food yet. Then they give you a cold burger and potatoes, with a delay of 15/20 minutes. I understand that this system is made for timing, so that clients understand that Mac is trying to keep timings, but this is a complete failure... 🤷

Very busy but still did not have to wait long for my order

Ordered a delivery and was missing Big Mac….main part of order. Telephone no on website is invalid number. Spent an hour trying to resolve on call to MacDonalds. Will now have to email head office. F’in ridiculous

1) Food has taken AGES My kids were hungry it wasnt too busy yet we had to wait about 30 min for a basic order. 2) the food was not as warm as expected.

I went with my 4 years old son. After we ordered we waited 35 min for happy meal and wrap with iced coffee. My toddler was maid to wait standing up on his feet for 35 minutes. No-one explained anything. Few times we were told to move away because we are on the way of the pseudo manager who did nothing to resolve the issue . I'm absolutely disappointed and disgusted On top of it My chicken was raw and I throw it in the bin I will never ever went there again and McDonald's is big no from me from now on. Useless workers and management. I will honestly never ever eat in McDonald's again I know that no measures will be taken and same incompetent workers will continue to work there so do you yourself a favour and don't ever go! On top of that 35 min wait standing up and the raw chicken we weren't offered any compensation or even a simple,,I'm sorry " Currently I'm writing to Gravity and Wandsworth shopping centre where we spent more than 150£ . At the end of everything my son was crying from hunger and pain in his legs and there was few more crying tired babies. Terrible experience, I usually don't eat at McDonald's, but as this is quick and convenient I have visited this store few times recently. 1. Don't expect what are you going to order. I have opted out for the same wrap and the taste and ingredients were not as stated in description while ordering. I have been missing key ingredients as well as mayo, when I have decided after number of bad experiences to talk politely with manager A. She was very authoritative and talked to me on condescending, patronising ways even though I am 40 years old person, she was yelling at me like I am small child in front of the other customers, I challenged her and explained her calmly again my situation, that if I order something where in description is written there will be certain ingredients and I am missing those, I would appreciate if her attitude is not that she is blaming me for me being wrong, as in this situation she is only one wrong, because of her attitude problems and zero conflict resolution skills. Blaming customer coming around to calmly let her know that there are always ingredients missing while ordering same item is not acceptable. This store should face some strict service inspection and there is plenty of room for improvement. While the food made there is not according to description, as it should, as well as the customer service is the poorest, I have ever experienced during my life, management is not there to support the client or customer, but rather to go against it. Yelling at the customer, trying tell them they are wrong and behaving in very childish ways, it's something I wouldn't expect. Also I would be interested to find out why only certain people from certain background works here in majority? Does this reflect transparency and equality? Why the food taste like it's made in their country rather than to fulfil expectations and order of their customers? It's very important to keep the flavor according to what it should be and ingredients that are already in description rather than to experiment with these according to someone else preference. Me and my friend we have had same order, but taste was different as well as ingredients were different.

Well what can i say about this Macdonalds, first when you walk in none of the tables had been cleaned and the bin was overflowing with rubbish, next my order was completely wrong and I got dirty looks from the staff when I asked for them to correct it, customer service was really poor, was extremely disappointed

I will definitely not be back. Although there was no queue, I waited too long for my order. I wonder what the waiting time is when there is a queue. I ordered a burger and they forgot to put the bun. It seems inadmissible to give such an order to the customer. Never again.

I ordered a delivery through the Mac Donald’s app. My food arrived in seven minutes and I live about 3/4 of a mile away. Arrived with Happy meal boxes folded as they arrive from their warehouse, customised kids, burgers, wrongly made and two items which were meant for the single parent completely missing. I was offered a pitiful £3 refund for the missing items and this is beyond insulting. It would be great if the staff could you slow down a bit and make sure that they doing a proper job. The food that they are putting out of the kitchen is nothing short of a disgrace. I am left feeling very silly with myself having decided to order myself, some food, along with my kids after deliberating whether I should or should not for quite awhile this evening. Obviously I should’ve gone with my gut instinct and avoided. I will never be eating at McDonald’s ever again, and this franchise is an absolute joke. On top of this, McDonald’s has some kind of partnership with Uber eats, and together they sidestep proper customer service, claiming that senior management on the phone lines of customer support can only offer a refund of list items. Any decently run business would offer to re-deliver the items that are missing but, this is no decently run business. Absolute disgraceful organisation and will never get my business ever again. I will also be disputing the charge with my credit card company because what they delivered to me, is shocking for a takeaway.

Must have a team member ideologically opposed to putting brown sauce on a breakfast muffin. Have been given the wrong sauce 3 times now.

I have never had a correct order there. Chips are always gross and its the slowest fast food ive ever had.

ordered on the app didn’t have to wait too long 15mins or so and they forgot one of our meals but the problem was rectified quickly and we was on our way they seem to be very busy bless them and everyone was doing what they could as fast as they could Thank for lunch guys have a great week

The fact - this branch is open from 6am every day. You can get a hot drink and breakfast for under £4. Where else in Wandsworth you will have a coffe at 6am on a way to work or gym session? Love the atmosphere- always good music and it's also very clean. Thank you so much and will recommend to my friends and family.

I'm pregnant, I ordered a delivery from McDonalds for a chicken burger, the bread came out moldy...just disgusting! I took two bites of the burger and only then did I see the game on the bun

Probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been. Takes forever for the food to come and the they forget to include everything you ordered. Pure incompetence. AVOID

I was super hungry, so I decided to get a quick double cheeseburger and chips. The fries was tasteless I had to add a lot of black pepper and salt to it. The burger was okay needed to be grilled a little more, so the cheese could of slightly melted.

Ordered online, they only sent half of my order packed in the bag. This was not the delivery driver’s fault. No refund offered.

Recently I spent £25 on an order and I didn’t get a call, an sms or even a notification about the food. It claimed it was delivered but it wasn’t and we checked everywhere around the area but there was no motorcycle. We called the restaurant and they forwarded us to the manager. He was quite rude and hung the phone up on us. I didn’t get a refund or new food delivered. I would not recommend. 👎🏾

Awful customer service, was given wrong burger and had gone all the way home before realising they’d messed up the order. Had to go all the way back and was dealt with by a very rude woman who didn’t even offer any apology. Took the bag and threw away the burger they had put in bag which was the wrong item… Instead of offering as a goodwill and telling me to keep both. Which the manager claims is “store policy”. Garbage. You’d rather chuck perfectly fine food in the bin than give it to people… which is just wasteful. I asked to speak to manager (who had attitude of a crew member as opposed to manager) as his staff walked away whilst i was talking to her and then went on to say to her manager that my problem was that i “wanted a free burger” as if i was trying to beg for food. If anything with the way she was looking she was the one that wanted the free burger… probably hid it in the back for herself. Neither this woman or manager had apologised for the inconvenience caused. Can clearly see from past reviews that this is common in this store of messing up peoples orders… get some new staff.

Visited today 26.12.2023. Order number 23 double espresso and a plain porridge. Never had such a cold porridge in my life. It wasn't even room temperature. It was cold as if it was prepared an hour before. Thanks McDonald's!

Poor quality McDonald’s. Food is not really tasty and almost every time we go there they mess up our orders. For example, once we went here and ordered a meal which contained 2 large fries and 1 small but they gave 2 small and 1 large. Today we ordered fries, 9 McNuggets and 2 sweet curry dip but we ended up having no sweet curry dip. Service is slow and workers are quiet.

So small with very little seating food comes cold most of the time

Wow, its now outside of the centre and is tiny. Its McD but now feels like a walkin drive through. When we visited the poor young staff looked so down and feed up, which might be due to the layout.

I always order from here using the McDonald's app and collection is very quick. This restaurant used to be in southside shopping centre by the cinema but relocated to Garrett lane but still part of southside. Staff are friendly but the only downside are the youth customers that use the upstairs and have no respect but that's the world we live in now until they grow up and get a job. I recommend using the app to order and collect.

Ordered for delivery, this branch is absolutely terrible. Half the stuff didn’t arrive, the rest is cold, stale and tasted strange. Ended up throwing it out. I’ve ordered from other branches previously so I know McDonald’s food can travel well. It’s shocking how your staff can mess up using a simplified system created for them. Who did you hire?

Brainless donkeys working inside. Whenever we order McDonald's from here, which unfortunately is our 'local', sauces are *never* packed inside, orders are always missing something (today we're missing 2x water bottles, sauces and the mozzarella sticks!). The burgers taste disgusting, for a restaurant that's supposed to be consistent anywhere in the world, these burgers taste like garbage. Buns are stale, the fries are shocking. Whoever owns this particular franchise should consider hiring blind and deaf staff, they'll do a *much* MUCH better job than whatever brainless donkeys are working there now, these lot working in there are literally waste of air for the rest of the planet. I've never had worse McDonald's on my life.

Awful but that's what you sign up for. The best awful there is unless it's gone 11am then it's just awful.

So they move from a bigger space to a much smaller space. So if you wanted to eat in you can't cause the 5 tables they do have will be taken. Upstairs seating is okay but you can't really enjoy your meal without being attacked by flies and wasps.

Fries was so oily and almost burnt. Didn’t like at all. Vege Wrap was ok. Place was clean and tidy.

Ordered a vanilla milkshake and got a weird combination of strawberry, banana and chocolate. 2nd time been there and the service is super slow. Don’t go in if you are in a hurry. Fast food? Good luck. The staff also seem like they’d be somewhere else to be Frank. Not great - 0 stars

I loved this McDonald's. Its small downstairs, but they have seats upstairs, which is open top like. It was clean and service was good. It didn't take too long for the food to come.

I just know that the food safety and hygiene standards aren't up to scratch. I ordered a meal from here and a few hours later, ended up with some serious food poisoning. Judging from other reviews, you don't really wanna be ordering food from this particular McDonald's.

Perfect spot for a take out in Wandsworth. It was clean and the staff were friendly; I think it’s more of a pick up spot for delivery drivers these days.

This morning 7.20 am. Went through drive through. Ordered Egg and cheese muffin meal with latte. Picked it up came to my work and unwrapped the muffin and found beaf or ham inside don't know. I am vegetarian and don't know what to do with this now. Ridiculous

Over half an hour wait for breakfast, staff kept brushing me off when I wanted to find out why the delay, in the end they’d lost my order. Pathetic.

It seem despite change of location the appalling service provided by this specific restaurant is still as bad as it was before. I have tried on numerous occasions to order food but each time the dissapointmen is just outrages. Food always cold, meat always dry, lack of sauce with meals requirement, missing items, the way the food is being handled, soggy fries and so on. You can never get through to them via call and in store the staff have absolutely disgusting attitude. This is my last online or in store order with this branch!

Nowadays is not cheap to have McDonald’s, I paid good money for an iced drink and they gave me the cup half empty saying that’s how it comes from the machine. It was looking very disgusting, I asked for refund and she did not even say sorry just laughing. I will never be back here

This is the worst macdonalds ive been too even though its quite new Always takes forever to order food even when theres no customers and always missing items I waited 15mins for my order 4 burgers and 2 chips and a drink and it was missing 2 burgers and a drink. I noticed the drink missing so they gave to me but didnt realize burgers were missing till i got home. This place is a disgrace to the McDonald's name. Just ordered breakfast through the app. Well it turned up and two items were missing, the uber driver apologised saying that was all he was given. Rang macdonalds and the person was extremely rude and unhelpful and couldnt care less about our problem. The food was not that much better, one of the mcmuffins had half a muffin missing and was dripping in grease. I just hope McDonald's top brass see this as wandsworth southside McDonald's is destroying its reputation in my eyes

Ordered a meal a 17:30 and it hasnt arrived. Drove down the restaurant to find out what was happening. The manager told me my order was there cooked and had been for the last hour, just waiting to be collected but there were no drivers. This was funny as there were four waiting outside. The manager was rude, didn't really care which is a general theme with this restaurant. As yet we are still waiting for this order to be delivered. I would avoid this restaurant and definitely via justeat its one disaster after another with this place.........I'm just curious when we will get this order! *****update 19:20****** Just eat cancelled order saying its been delivered at 18:00 Absolutely joke!!

Worst place ever bad service it’s so small it needs to be shut down

We are a house of 4 and ordered a meal for everyone and all that was delivered was a burger and some water. How difficult is it to get an order correct?! I had the option of calling the restaurant to resolve the issue, but they don’t answer. Terrible service. Don’t bother ordering from here if you are hungry

There is not enough of space for people placing orders and those, who are already there, waiting for their orders to collect. Upstairs area is outside only tables and not big enough. Limited spaces downstairs. What a nonsense. They have drastically reduced the space for their customers, comparing to how many customers they could have accommodated in their previous Southside location. Winter time- who is going to sit outside, because there is not enough of indoors space. Unless, they are still under construction, working behind the scenes on a bigger area for the customers.

Went to go here as the one inside the Shopping centre has closed, but this new one, which is apparently the replacement, is even smaller!! Who on earth thought it was a great idea to make a smaller one for such a busy area?? Place was rammed packed and didn't look inviting at all. Terrible decision.

The issue that I have experienced was I Placed an order at around 19.30 Saturday evening, we waited until after 20:30 until the order arrived and half of the order was missing! *2x Mcplant burgers *1x cheese and garlic share box *9x sauces Having waited longer than expected and once the the order did finally arrive half the order was missing so I was not happy at all! The food that did arrive was cold, chips where soggy and cheese bites where dry and all without any seasoning so it was altogether tastless and inedible, and the level of service was disgusting! The driver who delivered the food didn't even knock on the door and let us know the food had arrived we only Found out he had left this OUTSIDE on the doorstep! The whole situation start to end has been a nightmare and me being 7 months pregnant it was really nice to treat ourselves on a Saturday evening to what we thought would be a nice takeaway in front of the tv but all it did was cause enormous stress. I have never received such a shocking service It occurred on: 2022-05-07 This meant that Being 7 months pregnant it left me very upset and frustrated and also hungry. We are currently in the middle of having our house renovated so having a takeaway delivered was esssential for us as we have no food in the house at present or anyway of cooking and we where let down massively - ALSO we didn't have anymore money to order another takeaway so i was Left incredibly upset and out of pocket £40 which we had saved especially for a takeaway on the weekend as a treat! I would like to hear about what you are going to do to resolve this situation. A FULL refund, an apology and a gesture of good will would be much appreciated but to be honest this does not resolve the issue of being without food this evening. I am very disappointed with this level of standards in such a big named corporate company in 2022 and you're certainly NOT meeting the required level of expected standards by any means.

Quite dated. The soda was without fizz. Milkshake with no taste and fries with no salt 😂. The queue seem to not move and the staff seemed to be more interested in their love life. If you want McDonald's just go for the one at putney or Wimbledon instead, you can even order ahead at those two which they do not offer here.

In the website says open and is close at 8.45am. Usually the staff is late to open the store.

The best big Mac in town always a hot burger

They have consistently failed to provide the food we have ordered. We will not be placing an order from here again. It is embarrassing how poor the ability to put the food ordered on the receipt stapled on the bag, in the bag.

I go here a lot because is closest to my home. It is definitely not the best branch. Long waiting times after ordering, queue system is weird and confusing and they usually don't give a receipt and remember all orders and get some of them wrong. Also, they don't have automatic machines to place an order. The taste of their drink is quite chemical and the fries usually taste weird too. But I can't lie I am gonna keep going here because it is close to home, no choice.

Slow service They concentrate more on delivery drivers more than the customers facing them
