McDonald's in Chesterfield

Ordered pancakes with syrup. No syrup or knife & fork. Ordered coffee to go, was left on side so manager asked to replace it, guy then spilt it. No pump sauce! Toilets upstairs closed only disabled toilet. Doesent lock at all and no paper at all. Worst McDonalds I’ve been in

So I had food delivered and I had my burger missing which was a Quarter pounder deluxe meal with a mango and Pineapple iced drink which cost £7.79 oh and I didn't get my iced drink I got a small bottle of orange juice that you get in a kids meal. I called up to tell them my food was missing and they said they will send me another burger but I will have to pay an extra £4.99! Or I can have a refund I said I'll have a refund, so they said that's fine anything else I can help you with so I asked how much am I getting back in a refund they said £2!! I argued that's not even half of what I paid and apparently that's all the burger is worth!! I'm fuming absolute daylight robbery. Not only is my food missing but my daughters food was stone cold we had to put it in the microwave to warm it up. Honestly people don't even take a chance in ordering from this place unless you have money to waste and even then I'd still not order from here. Never ever again!!!! Thieves

Have used this location several times. It's not often there isn't a problem with the order. I've had missing items, cool/cold items from here. The last one was two big mac meals with not a drop of big mac sauce on. The staff didn't seem to care to much about this when I emailed. The counter staff if you can find one to serve you are usually nice an helpful. The other thing to note is the delivery drivers that use this location have no care for anyone. Often entering through the exits or driving the wrong way in the one way carpark. That is when they are not parked in the disabled or motorcycle bays.

Great flavour mcdonalds but a little cool,always change if to cool,but enjoyable stop,good coffee at fair price

Food arrived quickly enough but burgers were the most greasy I've ever had from a McDonald's. Literally soaked through the paper. Very off-putting

Always seems to take so long for orders and always wrong. But clean and probably the nicest space for a macdonalds if sitting on

Like most McDonalds. When busy, they normally mess your order up. Same as yesterday. Got home to find both Cola's hadn't been marked up as sugar free (one was supposed to be classic cola, the other sugar free, due to being diabetic). They even circled it on the receipt.....Also a chicken sandwich was missing... Couldn't be bothered to travel back to West Bars, as our food was already cold... Nothing special, this place. Seems they had a new girl on the drive through, as she was struggling... She did however get the order correct, on the receipt, but some other numpty inside, screwed the order up....

Food was good but parking was awful causing traffic in the main road

Best McDonald's we visit. Food is always hot and tastes better. The place is clean and the drive through is quicker than most.

Get to many young people just hanging out not eating

Rarely ever find any long queues or waits here, very efficient service. Food has always been what you'd expect from McDonald's. Regularly call in here on our way in or out of the Peak District for food or a coffee and have never been disappointed.

This has to be the nicest McDonald's I have been to in the UK. Spotlessly clean, food fresh, and well presented. Staff actually seemed like they wanted to be there. Very friendly staff, smart 👍🏻 👌🏻 Well done 👏🏻 Spotless clean toilets. Separate entrance for the McDonald's delivery partners, eliminating them standing at the collection area with other customers. 10 out of 10.

We did drive through and spoke to a lady Called Suzanne , what a pleasant lady

A journey that takes no more than 3 minutes results in freezing cold food, spilled drinks and ,more often than not, missing items too. If McDonalds had any sense they would remove the franchise license from these clowns

I always order from the store at Just Eat, and the delivery is always on time or before time. I also charge my car here. Charges are useful parking could improve. Today I was in store and was served by Charlotte. Charlotte was… Professional, offered a genuine nice smile at all times and served me promptly. Nothing bad to say! Only knocked a star on atmosphere because it’s early morning and people not as lively/store lacking customers. Overall the store has friendly staff with professional attitudes. Thanks

Ordered through the app, they use Uber for delivery, food never turned up, unhelpful on the phone pushing blame to Uber with Uber also not answering customer service calls. Money lost with no way to get it back. Unhelpful staff will never go to this location again

I finished work after a long before I went back to my hotel,I thought are grab a McDonald ,I feel I’ve been totally ripped off,I had a large big Mac meal which should come with large fries and large drink £5.35 then they also charged me on top £2.44 for a drink,so the meal cost me £7.69 what a ripoff

Long wait for food. Coffee was burnt. Some food only luke warm. Clean though.

I popped in after walking into town while my car was having it's MOT. Unfortunately just after I entered they experienced a major IT issue that affected the ordering system. A couple of members of staff quickly and politely explained the problem to all the people waiting to order. Cue several people huffing and leaving, with at least one failing to understand, and another getting slightly angry. The staff managed to stay friendly, polite and helpful throughout. Shortly after the app ordering became live again, and while other staff franticly tried to get the main IT running again, the staff on the counter and walking the floor offered to help people with the app with the same polite helpfulness. They are a credit to the branch and to McDonald's. Well done.

Lovely McDonald’s with great staff but will never eat here again after getting a parking fine for parking for 97 minutes instead of 90. I have a 4 year old daughter that is a slow eater and enjoys playing on the iPads. 90 minutes is not long enough to order, eat and then play. McDonald’s were no help, and we were regular visitors that spent a lot of money here.

No issues with this McDonald's, cuppa and a hash brown! Place was clean and food was prepared quickly. The kitchen in this McDonald's isn't as visible as most but that isn't necessarily a bad thing!!

Every single time I order online here from uber, they forget half my meal. Every single time.

For me as a coeliac, McD's is always causes me issues, but I enjoy their coffee and tend to have a hash brown if visiting in a morning. Called in at West Bars for a change after walking through Queen's Park. It's a decent place although views of the traffic queues on Markham Road aren't too picturesque! Staff are friendly and there's a pleasant atmosphere which I feel isn't found at the main town centre location.

Ordered some food and I requested a large Sprite Zero didn’t even receive one and the drink they sent me doesn’t even taste right

The male worker Charlie is good at his job and really polite and the food was ordered on time and fresh

Excellent position in town for me to get to with genuine friendly staff. Just needed to knock a star off as parking area at times can be pretty full. Drive through means this is irrelevant for most people but I need to park and get mentally prepared before I go to work. This is my go to for my egg and sausage mcmuffin breakfast and coffee though.

As you expect a new McDonald's with all the bells and whistles. Even a couple of electric car charge points.

The service and lack of stock are a constant issue with this branch. I only use this branch if I forget my dinner as it is close to work . It takes on average 12 minutes to be served Which is poor for those of us that have a half hour for dinner.

Breakfast was disappointing, I ordered a double sausage and egg mcmuffin and got a single and the muffin was stale

27 minutes for two 'hot' warm apple pies. Ignored at the till because I was stood no where near another customer that your unhelpful staff member thought I was with, even though we both arrived at different times and stood well apart. Disgusting service.

Enjoyed my visit there. Only negative was when ordering on mobile app it kept telling me this McDonald's was closed.?

Called in for a drive through breakfast. Items we wanted (bacon cheesy flatbread and milkshake) were out of stock. Had to park and wait for our order of mighty mcmuffin, porridge, coffee and soft drink. 5 mins to bring food out then forgot drinks. Then had to go back for straw for soft drink and spoon for porridge. Drove away then realised they hadn't put any golden syrup in for the porridge. Went back to request golden syrup and was met with indifference. We won't be returning to this McDonalds site. This privately run site is letting the McDonalds brand down with poor service levels, poorly trained staff and unavailable menu items.

We have never once received the correct order from this restaurant. It's not just small omissions (although don't expect sauces) but full meals are left out.

It's McDonald's, so very much as you expect on the food front. The staff all seem lovely and the view from upstairs is better than most McDonald's.

I like the food , although burger didn't taste that great but other options on menu were good, lots of space both in and out doors. However, the toilet was disappointing.

From London to Edinburgh its mcdonalds what can I say the only time if differs is the temperature its served at and if the cheese is melted or not

Told to wait 15 minutes until the ice creams were on the menu, then after waiting got told the machine is off.... It's why I asked in the first place, poor service!

Wrong food delivered and the managers answer was “nothing I can do about it, you”ll need to order again”. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Whoever is the manager at this store need retraining or demoting back to making the food!!

Just ordered a breakfast. Before the cut off point for breakfast. They waited half an hour to cancell my order. Didn't have breakfast in .so i thought id order via just eat .absolutely disgusting service ..couldn't be bothered could you .so you cancell my order at 11am .

A very good and clean restaurant in a small village. Well maintained restaurant. The restrooms are clean. Enough seating capacity for groups and family. Has decent parking space. This has a drive through facility. There are enough number of kiosks available for ordering food

One of the female staff had their mum and auntie in which we were there, during this time the staff member did nothing and she wasn't on her break, she just said she couldn't be bothered

This morning and we borrowed the keys to our house before we moved out, and the teacher was very much a little bit out the back with the first one of those who had purchased the wrong country.

Unfortunately, in this society, we have 2 women without a care to smoke 2 cigarettes at the same time in front of 4 children, including their own. This, in turn, made the atmosphere and dining experience very bad. When questioned, I was met with 'ok'. Shame on you people that are involved in such acts. You shouldn't be in the care of any child!!! Unfortunately for mcds, this is a bad experience, hence the lower rating. Staff were friendly, and food was just perfect

It would have been a nice experience if it wasn't for the three members of staff all female that were quite happily talking and laughing Extremely loud for the whole of our 30-minutes in McDonald's on leaving my wife approach the three members and thank them for ruining are meal not one apology from any one of them in fact they laughed in my wife's face will not be bothering going to one of your franchises ever again stay well clear of this place the staff are atrocious

Not an exceptional McDonald's, but nothing wrong with it either. I found it not quite as warm in there as some are, but it was early morning. Had breakfast, was ok.

Whilst waiting for my food, I witnessed what I thought to be a manager (Charlotte), speak poorly to a younger member of staff. I’m highlighting this because the young girl seemed to be working her socks off all the while, the manager couldn’t take her eyes off her phone. Feels like an abuse of power almost but for me, it ruined the atmosphere and my experience.

After waiting for best part of 15mins our fish burgers were well over cooked & I just couldn't be bothered to complain on this occasion as have done on several previous visits to this McDonald's! I don't seem to have the same issues at other McDonald's in the town.

I ordered via just eat and they miss off a £5.99 burger. Bloody ridiculous !

Stopped off as been out most of day food was delivered to table relatively quickly wasn't as hot as I would expect and as usual with any McDonald's there's an item missing.but that all said staff where very friendly and it was extremely clean.

Been a few times because it's a good meeting point. Unfortunately, every time we have been, something is wrong or missing from the order.

So far, the best mcdonald's I've been to! The fries tasted brillant when freshly cooked, not sat around for ages! If I'm in the area again, it would be my go-to stop. Well done all the staff at this particular branch! It even has a lift to the first floor! 🙏👍❤️💯

Foods what you expect at any McDonald's. My eldest hates this particular venue as no milkshakes available when he asks for one. Saves me money so I'm good with that. Parking poor. Should have opened one up on Sheffield Road, Chesterfield or at the footy ground. This can't cope with amount of cars and space

Tasty 😋 MC Donald at Chesterfield Bar, kids friendly with lovely game and menu's. Good senecery, lovely atmosphere, less racist, open to all with digital menu and friendly staff.

Continuously open late in the mornings, pain in the neck as the EV chargers are in their car park. If they're not going to open on time, don't come off the car park!

Stone cold burger, fries burnt, and staff rude. Wouldn't even move from the stairs to use the bathroom upstairs. The second time, I have been, and first wasn't much better.

A few months ago I ordered a chicken legend, and the chicken was just that, a legend. The chicken didn't exist, it was just a bun.

Had to go there late nights / after midnight on a number of aoccasions as was the only place to get some food during a busy bightshift and its always consistently poor. Food badly cooked, badly put together and unappetising - Yes I know its only McDonalds but this place has a knack of making average food really awful.

Suzanne was lovely, very friendly and polite. Very keen this morning as we were making our order. At the second window the man that serves the food was also very polite! You have a customer for life!!

McFlurry had practically no toppings or sauce, and took ages to arrive despite being only in order on the screen.

Burger was off the bun and broke in half wrapper was in-between the burger staff seemed more interested in swapping over at shift change
