Its maccies, your lucky if your food is luke warm and to interact with an actual human is quite rare these days ( i think they're all hidden in the back ) I wish the food would actually look like the pictures but one can only hope as the masses will still carry on buying these flat burgers , yes yes i know here i am myself buying this ' food'

Just warm food service was slow

First time ordering from here for delivery..fries under cooked burger missing from order no mayo on MC chicken sandwich which makes it dry and uneatable won't be ordering from here again..

Slowest serving I've seen out of all McDonald I've been in the past

A absolute disgrace.... on Sunday we got there at 10.57am aiming to get some of the breakfast menu ... waited about 5mns to order through the drive through ... when we eventually were asked we were refused the breakfast menu as it was just pass 11am ...the staff was so rude no manners no apologies walked off nd slammed the cash window on us ....A disgrace...we re still aiming to reach the chain owner to raise the concern ... Unacceptable..we def do nit advise no one to g there...

Waiting for small order for 30 minute went home looked in bag no fries no sauce or no straws, very disappointed

Ordered via drive thru - 2x double Big Macs with bacon meals and 1x cheese garlic bread dippers. At payment scanned card but then noticed it was a chicken share box (more expensive) and was told I’d just have to have it.. Then at next window got 3 burgers - staff said they’d read the screen as a chicken burger not a share box. Then got home and it’s single Big Macs. Absolute joke. Not to mention after waiting at ordering screen 5-10 mins someone who just pulled up got ordered first!

The worlds slowest McDonald’s, you can go in and it just be you and still end up waiting 15 minutes for a Big Mac meal. There seems no urgency in serving anyone particularly if you walk in as priority seems to be given to drive-thru customers. At my last visit food arrived lukewarm which is not surprising considering the 15 minute wait as I had seen it sat on the side for a good 5 minutes. This McDonald’s is also the only one where I’ve seen staff put your food on a tray, bring it to the collection counter then bag it all up there - rather than just put it all in the bag to start with. Not sure why as it always results in half your chips being left on the tray and not making it too the bag. Would not recommend at all and you’re better off driving elsewhere as it’ll inevitably be far quicker.

A typical McDonald's establishment. No complaints. Don't understand the negativity for this McDonalds. I use it on a regular basis and have never had any problems.

Ordered via JustEat and items were missing from order, rang the store and they simply told me to ask for a refund via JustEat app as they’re separate to McD’s (even though it’s McD’s staff that can’t put an order together correctly), what was the point in paying for delivery when I had to drive there anyway in the end? So asked for the refund via the app and drove down to the store to re buy missing items. Placed order and drove to next window and waited, nobody there! Drove to next window eventually when the queue moved on and they were all stood looking confused until I said there was nobody at the last window to pay! Guy in white shirt took my card and disappeared over to the previous window to pay for the order using my card! I don’t think this is right to take my card! Handed us our order and we checked it before driving off and no surprise….. an item was missing again! Absolute joke of a restaurant and won’t be going back again. Incompetent staff that simply don’t care.

Orderd breakfast wrap meal, no hash brown with the meal, aswell as a bacon mc muffin to receive a sausage mc muffin... employee was like taking to a brick wall when I complained, clearly tell she didn't care.

The worst McDonald’s on the planet! Ordered £30 worth of food. When it arrived it was the complete wrong order and worth 1/3 of the cost. Both the restaurant and the driver failed to realise. Received a refund for the order. I re-ordered and collected and they still forgot sauces that I paid for. The restaurant is run by idiots. Don’t order from here go to the Wakefield ones instead!

Got to say the worse experience I've had from McDonald's! Double cheeseburgers x4, all cold. Chicken nuggets x2 (20), luke warm. Bbq bacon and chicken wrap, cold. Fries x4, well under cooked and cold. Milkshakes not thick, not flavoured, just milk. spending over £45 not good at all will Certainly not going again. Waited 40 mins for my order and the place was empty apart from the drive through. Absolutely disgusting. Waste of money!

Was a good visit after a hard day cleaning. There is a children's play area outside too, don't think theres one of them at any other McDonald's. So kids are happy.

Absolutely diabolical at this place. I don't know if it's on the job application that you need to be absolutely numb skulled to work here. All I know is, apparently, chicken selects are now cheese bites. 60 quid order. Meant to get 6 chicken selects and 12 nuggets... well, 10 chicken nuggets and 5 selects. 5 piece chicken select meal, chicken selects where chuffing cheese bites inside the box. I mean, how hard can it be? But no point in speaking to the staff, they deny everything! Macdonalds... you seriously need to start hiring better staff. Your company reputation is dropping rapidly second by second because your employees just don't GAF.

Loads of kids messing around, one staff member brought their kids, and they were messing around throwing things. Wouldn't visit again. There is another that is much more peaceful.

First time we’ve been but can’t fault the food or the decor. Very nice place.

Left mine and wife's Big Macs on the end to go cold whilst they was waiting for the fries to be cooked which took a while, from where I was stood I could see them on the end with some guy picking inside his ear then moving the food around on the tray and the bins was overflowing, disgusting. Never going back there.

Went through the drive through and had to say 3 times what I wanted then they got it wrong NFC not working right declined the card from the phone. Had to get the card out and pay that way. Told me he couldn't change what I wanted to go to the next window and tell them it's large you have ordered. So I finally got there 2 mediums awaited me. Sorry iv ordered large well you can't change them. Well that's not what Iv order. Well we can't change them, get the manager please. She came and went on one I want large I'm not taking well it's a pound more well Iv no change so I gave her my card and she disappeared with it eerrrmmm cards not supposed to leave my sight. Well when the text came back to my phone £1.39 had been now not knowing how much is large cappuccino I think I've been ripped off it may only be 20 to 39 pence that's not the point. So Main manager puts the phone number in response and the contact name I'll give you call.

No sauces given even the one we paid extra for . Food luke warm and the new mighty max had miniscule onion and a slight amount of mustard compared to tomato ratio . Overall not too impressed

Had to wait ages for 2 happy meals (drivethrough) and everything was cold.

Staff are beyond slow to the point it becomes a joke. Never give me the order I ask for (when I change simple things on it) and is always sub par. Slow, miserable staff who are incapable of doing a very simple job to a reasonable standard.

Nice hot tasty coffee served quickly.

4th June 6.15pm Long delay in table service, when order arrived, the flat white had no coffee in and the Sprite had no syrup in. Asked a team member to change it, replied “Sorry, i am just going on a break” and walked away. Asked another team member at the counter, he took them away and replaced them, i asked is there coffee in it this time? He replied “well i pressed the flat white button” and walked away. These drinks had the SAME problem. Another request to change the drinks advising again the issue with them, 10 minutes later we got given the drinks with an apology saying yes the syrup line needed changing and coffee was needed in the machine. I wonder how many drink's went out via drive thru or delivery?? Customer Service at this branch is terrible, be warned

I've taken delivery from here on 3 occasions. Each time items missing. The branch are zero help on the phone quoting 'human error'. On returning the food via drive through, defeating the object of home delivery, my 7 year old son witnessed one of the staff showing another crew member the middle finger. Either the staff are poorly trained or the managers don't care. Shabbily run franchise.

This is one of the few McDonalds I really like. For starters, I like venues that take pride in their image, and have to say this is one of the cleanest ones, so kudos to the team for keeping it clean. Every time we come here, the service is spot on, amazing food, and most important, is fresh (this isn’t a casual feature within the chain anymore, but this venue beats them). Staff is very polite, and don’t feel rushed into anything.

poor slow service at the drive in I was the only one at it waiting to order Double sausage and egg cold,Luke warm coffee when I went to eat it less than five minutes away Thought I'd try again today 15/02/24 just sat at drive through order part to have two vehicles come and go to pay window I then drove to the same window to be told they are short staffed and that's what it is she then took my order it took 12mins to get from that window to the collect my order I went into the carpark to eat it to discover Luke warm coffee recooked hash brown rubbery bread black sausage,it was all s... I will never give my money to McDonald's again the thieving b....... Just called in again today Friday 24th May thought it must of improved how wrong can you be, got my order parked in the car park opened it soggy double sausage muffin then cold coffee I took it in the staff were running round like headless chickens no one wanted to discuss my issues so eventually walked out it's got to be the worst McDonald's in the country

This has to be the worse McDonald's we've visited. If I could leave zero, I would. We're visiting family this weekend and have come twice. Once through the drive thru where we were waiting 20 minutes for x2 cheese burgers, x1 chips and x2 milkshakes, so nothing special. We've come for breakfast before travelling 3 hours back home, and decided to eat in, and again waited over 20 minutes for x2 sausage McMuffin meals with coffees, again nothing special requiring extra attention. The staff don't care and are too busy screaming at one another. Speaking to another customer, she'd been waiting over an hour for their food and got a full refund. Someone else had been there over half an hour. Every breakfast they've done has been wrong, no hash browns being put in. I'm not sure what the problem is, short staffing etc but it needs sorting. It's really not good enough, every single person in here has complained.

This McDonald's is a disgrace to the McDonald's name we waited 30mins for double sausage egg muffin the amount of people waiting for food is outrageous one customer was waiting an hour for food then had a refund as compensation another came in a second time after being served wrong food twice on top of that the staff here have "NO GO" in them to get orders out on time. Seriously if you want your food on time and correct go somewhere else! I never leave reviews but I felt that this service would needed to be shared

This has to be the worst mcdonalds experience I have ever had! I echo my sentiments with other customers and wholeheartedly say this I'd a disgrace to the brand! I've ordered here 3 times and everytime there has been a mistake! Whether it's, undercooked fries, missing items or customisations not followed, it's always SOMETHING! If it can be helped don't even touch this place with a barge pole!

Wow, it's been a year since I've been to this one and what a difference. Went to drive through with no wait, guy on first window very attentive and apologetic as my card had failed on the app, happens every now and then just paid on card again. 2nd window, minor wait but watched her intently to see her putting the sauces for the nuggets in. Said thanks and drove home. At home, all good was still hot and all great. A major, major difference to last year... Well done 👏🏻👏🏻

Visited today for a take out. Food was actually prepared quickly. I had to ask for the sauces for the nuggets, so it's not just ordering on just eat where they forget them. Checked our order once we got in the car to discover that the McChicken sandwich had been missed....back in to get it. Once we got home we found that one of our big macs which was ment to be plain with extra bacon......was not plain and as such could not be eaten. The staff in this restaurant could do with paying more attention to filling orders correctly.

Having used to work for McDonald's years ago it isn't quite the fast food it used to be, takes longer for orders to be completed but the world has changed, a much bigger menu and more importantance on not wasting food means more food needs cooking to order so that explains why orders take longer to prepare. But have been to this store several times now and the staff are great, sort any problems out and the food has always been well cooked and hot which is more than you can say for some stores. But why do so many young teenage kids have to act like idiots these days. There is a difference between having fun together and wilfully destroying property 😒 Definitely will return to this store 🙂

Ruined my kids food after ordering online got the food and was not even our order but the bag had our order on it after trying to rectify with the outlet was told there was nothing they could do disgusting customer service

Waited for 20 mins whilst the staff prioritised the drive through, didn’t get my lunch so got a refund and left. The restaurant is in urgent need of someone who can organise a kitchen. Needless to say I won’t be visiting here again.

The staff are lovely and wish the kitchen area was kept clean and seen food on the floor I know it's a quick turn over bins that need emptying more heath & safety could be better for staff :)

Drive thru was shocking seemed like I was sat there over 10mins before someone eventually took my order, if a car hadn't of been in front of me I would of left without getting anything.

Standard McDonalds, if you get a drive through through then check your order before you leave the car park! Staff are ok, they have a lot of unruly teens/tweens hanging about and being generally rude and a nuisance to deal with unfortunately. Milkshake machine regularly not working and hot apple pies often sold past the sell by time!

Hands down the worst McDonald’s in the country! Allow at least an hour for getting your meal from the empty drive thru, and expect cold food when it finally does come to your car that you’ve had to park in the car park and wait for. Got impatient kids?? Don’t even dare risk going and having them sat in the car waiting for their happy meals!!! 1 star is too many for this place!

Order missing on drive thru.food very cold. Inconvenienced having to go back so the whole meal was destroyed rang up to complain. Woman pretending she was the manager and didn't even give a damn that food was cold and missing. She was practically laughing. Its become a guarantee your not gonna get what you order.and its on merely every visit.

Don't recommend sitting in eating with kids. Not family friendly in the slightest. Sitting in and listening to foul language and out of control local trouble makers. Running around the place and abusing staff. Shouldn't be serving kids with no parental/adult supervision under 16 to try and resolve the issue.

I'm giving the review this place deserves. Went via drive through. 2 breakfast sandwiches were barely wrapped hanging out of wrapper and cold. Asked them to change it which they did. However not much better and were cold. Ordered porridge it was missing the sirup. Was still talking to the girl that served me she just walked away. No receipt given I wonder why. Have ordered a few times online for delivery and there's always items missing. MESAGE to the manager. Train your staff to do a simple job it's really not that hard. All these bad reviews reflect on you! If you carnt do that maybe you should get extra training too. Total waste of money.

Good service and friendly staff

Placed an order around 7-8pm it arrived 25 mins later (It’s 600 metres away) and was cold. I took it all out of the soggy bags and there was a full meal inc drink missing. I told the delivery driver there wasn’t enough food and he said it’s all there (quite clearly couldn’t care less). Rang the number on the receipt but sounded like a fax….. why!! My husband took it all back & was greeted with a young girl who again couldn’t care less, she was rude & tried to be smart but it didn’t work, a manager sorted it out and after I said my bit I left. They agreed and said they would start randomly checking orders as it wasn’t acceptable (I would have thought that was being done anyway as only been open a few weeks). We will go to wide lane in future as it runs like clockwork, very rare they don’t have shakes & orders are always correct & hot…. Staff are efficient & friendly too. Sorry I wanted to like it but first & last time I’ll visit Shaw cross McDonalds.

This McDonald’s is an absolute joke, Order breakfast at drive thru and the order was wrong! Went in and got the food home after they had apparently changed the items but the mighty McMuffin with ketchup had brown sauce all over it and the double bacon and egg McMuffin was a double sausage and egg!!! This place needs closing down or re staffing cause every review says the same.

Food is usual stuff. Staff friendly. Place is ok - I find it cold and uninspiring. Hard to pinpoint why. Mind you, they are all like this. You get what you pay for. Update March 2024: another meal last night. Food OK. Way too much salt in the food. Still miserable decor. Staff reasonably friendly. Still very similar to Chinese food. OK but not great.

Food good as always. Confusing entrance way is like mini maze, no atmosphere as virtually no counter, it's kinda like a corridor/waiting room.

Bought hundreds of strawberry milkshakes and just had the worst one ever. Runny and not even cold. Won't be having anything to eat here on that yardstick.

Unfortunately this is the closest Mcdonads to me, and as it was new, I thought there'd be a period of improvement - there hasn't been. Everytime I've eaten in, the food took ages to arrive and was cold. Tried the drive through to get quicker service. The food was shoved at me silently. After ordering a bacon double cheeseburger meal fries, I only got a double cheeseburger, and the fries were missing. Useless. Do yourself a favour and drive to the one in Morley.

Got my order wrong which happens 7 times out of ten. If I go through the drive through I always stay parked in front of the window to check through after they give it to me to make sure everything is there. They have 2 jobs to do - cook the food, give them the food - how do you screw that up??

Mcdonald's set the bar low by staffing their "restaurants" with underpaid, exploited youth labour. Then Dewsbury got a McDonald's again, looked at that bar, said "hold my special brew", and limboed under it while licking the tarmac. Just straight up woeful service from the worst knuckle draggers to ever grace a Maccy's.

This place is run by kids it's awful service their rude and impolite I will not be going here again no one wears hair nets so the hygiene is awful this one guy had his hands literally down his pant and then touched customers food I was disguted I wouldn't recommend this mcdonalds even if it was the last mcdonalds on earth.

Again orders wrong, long service times, drive thru closed again. Staff (except 1) rude. Managers hanging over food bins with phones in hands, staff on break in dining area swearing and been crass. Really not a 'family friendly' environment #update# Gave them time to get into swing of it, went and food was lovely... red hot good service clean! Was very surprised! Went again.. back to poor service, cold food, 35 minute wait for 2 meals,not busy, very rude staff coupled with and extremely rude manager! 😒 Mentioned issues and was told its not their problem and I should go elsewhere... so I shall.. a few attempts given to this place and once or twice its been spot on, rest of time it is dire ....

Orded on app for my sons chicken nuggets not to turn up drinks are wrong. And when call to be told that I can have them but I'd have to go get them guy was very rude standing near staff that were clearly laughing in the background and nothing was resolved because I wasn't getting a taxi there and back for chicken nuggets. Disgusting and it will never have my custom again

Another McDonald's. Standard. This one was a lot quieter than the first one we tried on a Saturday lunchtime and so a much more pleasant visit.

Everytime we have ordered on the app the order has been wrong and things missing and I have only ordered a few times to get my kids a treat. And one time I ordered nearly a full meal was missing and the food is always cold and we have to wait 30_40 minutes for it to get from McDonald's to my house when it's only 10 minutes away. I will be going to the McDonald's in Wakefield or the whiterose from now on. At least the food is hot and the staff are polite and the orders are not wrong.

Fast food? I ordered a meal for my daughter on one of them machines when you 1st walk in at 18:32 it came just after 7pm, and that’s only because I asked them where my order was! I could of jogged to Wakefield McDonald and back by time it took em, absolutely shocking, it wa pretty empty too, the latte wasn’t hot either, a bit warm at best, I won’t be going there again,
