Mc Donald's is McDonald's chips are always cold

Cold food. Dirty tables and staff who only want you to use the order stations. A big huff and puff if you want to order from counter.

A busy Saturday bank holiday weekend, good service but no napkins left, no sauce in dispenser, lady wiping tables just wipes it onto floor. Very busy but let's not forget the basics. Otherwise great food delivered in reasonable time and correct order. Thanks.

Standard McDonald's, what more could one say?

Not a good example very unenthusiastic staff food I took home and gave to my dogs they weren't that keen either

Fine excellent for something on the quick

Dirty condiment section. Staff were rude and slow. Took 14 minutes for two soft drinks whilst others were receiving their similar orders sooner. Fast food my arse.

Bins were overflowing, dirty tables. Waited a while for our orders.

I was hungry at it was there otherwise I wouldn't have gone there

Stopped early morning for a quick biyr to eat and use the facilities. The food was terrible, the bun tasted stale, and the sausage patty was very dry like cardboard. We put most of it in the bin. Couldn't even finish our drinks they were that bad!

Stinky dirty unclean toilets. Really sick making.

Overall fine but Service was quite slow even though it was very quiet (only 1 couple in front of us)..

Food was okay easy to order on screens Was hot and fresh enough. Didn't have Apple pies after taking order gave me wrong hot drink Atmosphere a bit rubbish because they were definitely over 10 orders behind at least 10 minute wait for order. Seems understand in particular as the main place to buy hot food at these services. Might be a one off but warrants the three star review I'm afraid. The lad serving the food wasn't too happy to be there but definitely not rude by any stretch.

Food was nice and hot when it came out.

Very poor service, staff not available to serve customers, had to wait over 5mins to be served. Staff need to be more customer focused

The salespeople are incompetent, you order one thing, they order another, and in fact - £4.90 from the parking receipt which was for £10, I ordered a combo of £6.69 + 2 cheeseburgers for £1.49. And the total is 2 cheeseburgers and a cola that I don’t need (also a big cola) came out to £5.11 and in fact -£4.90.

Fries were limp and soggy. Big Mac thrown together. Have eaten far better presented Maccy D’s .

It's like a Basic MC Donald's. The food is good, and not expensive and it came fast.

Usually pretty good, occasionally they forget the dips and tissues. But much better these days than they used to be. They always put 2 slices of cheese in the double cheese burger, and you can't just remove one. It's all or nothing cheese 😐

A quick bite to eat whilst travelling on the motorway.

We took machdonalon burgers 11.47 pm ,crispy burger chicken was uncooked ,we were disappointed ,coz we invest our money but burgers were very bad ,we came from long journey we take way burgers if we were dine in that time I can told him , completely rubbish no sauce inside and little salad only half leaf very bad

Absolutely shocking. Waited 25 minutes for a chicken wrap meal, only 3 people in the kitchen and all 3 dragging their feet In no hurry to serve the 12 people who are waiting

Rude assistant manager. Messed up our order and then spent wasting time rather than getting it sorted out.

I have trouble with the McDonald's app at every service station I go to. The app can't find the restaurant I'm in, or the offers aren't available. Or the code won't appear. All this happened at Watford Gap.

This is the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Both times nearly a 15 minute wait for 1 breakfast item

Not too bad at all, Food and drink orders are processed quickly, No fuss about asking for Curry and BBQ sauce Napkins behind the counter, dont forget to ask for extras .

Food cold - why? How? This is the second time in a row and yet it was a different McDonald's I took it straight back (within 2 minutes) and was given a replacement which was hot . How do they get the food so cold???

Hated it so much haven't been there since the time I lifted my burger for a bite and fat poured out of it when I asked for another the same thing happened vile and disgusting and the poor staff look hot sweaty and bored to death One of the lesser rings of hell

Latenight visit for my daughter after a weekend in London. She enjoyed

Thought it would be better with the latest revamp....But sadly I've been 3 times since it's been open again and in my opinion the latest experience as well as every other time it's just a really poor show there is always something that's a let down! Next time I think I will Skippy and go to the chippy !

Wouldn’t recommend stopping here. Very long wait time for my order and when it did eventually come I was given no sauces, I did ask for sauces but I was told “only one per customer, for reference our order was 3 burgers, 3 medium fries, 3 drinks and a few other items and was for 5 people. I’ve been to many McDonald’s but this is the first one I’ve been told that. Also while I was eating my food both burgers I ordered were squished and were also missing toppings I’d ordered (one was burnt too)

It's not even cheap anymore but still manage to make even a burger taste bad.

To be honest I’m not a lover of McDonalds… why we’ll simply nothing is made from what you think it should be. So I’m wheat and Soya free for medical reasons and I’m meat free also. The ordering system has changed since I last went in ( which is many years), but was OK to work my way through. I point I would make was that the allergen list wasn’t on the ordering platform thingy. Which I thought was a legal requirement??? I do t k ow about bigger branches as this was on the motorway, which in some ways was worse as I was heading to an event. If I’d eaten wheat or soya I wouldn’t be able to drive within an hour and wouldn’t be able to go to events for the next 4 days. Which is why I only had coffee as it’s not worth the risk to me.

Good fast food service with large seating area family friendly

Today for some reason was very noisy with sports supporters. Never had to queue so long for toilets.

McD in Guiesley is a good one. Always quite busy and kept clean. Staff are always busy and the orders for the kids happy meals are mostly always correct. See you next week.

Ordered a quaterpouder meal asked if I wanted a double quater pounder meal I said no asked if I wanted a large meal I said no price was expensive but didn't think much of it as prices are usually higher at service station when meal arrives there gave me a large double quarter pounder meal when I question how such a mistake was made I got made out to be the one who was In the wrong trying get a large for the price of a medium once I got my refund I put the money in a charity box to prove the point clearly upselling customers

Been here twice now for breakfast calling by on the way to a job up in rugby, so you know I'm abit of a seasoned pro. Standard fat Donald's experience, my sausage and egg Mc Muffin was slapped together (first world problems I know) and was greasy even for a a fat Donald's. BUT! the good thing about a franchise is it all tastes the same... it was warm, freshly made and cooked properly so yeah chugged my OJ in one like the big man I'am snd saw a sweet 90s E class outside I think it was an E class idk my Mercs I like Japanese cars and if its german I'm a BMW man then audi then Mercedes but pre 2000s mercs are rad.

It's okay... But not exactly somewhere you'd go for a treat, special occasion, on a date... or if you had another option.

Shambolic. Large meal with coffee and milkshake . WARNING make sure the top is on properly the wife picked up the order no double drink holder walked away and proceeded to scold her hand with the pipping hot coffee On returning to the counter and speaking to the same server and telling him to check the tops ,he proceeded to lift the top up and drop it back on and walked away with a blasé attitude. I proceeded to tell him in a loud voice to improve his customer service. The server was a tall man with face net covering his beard

This place at Watford gap was reasonably quiet. The food arrived at the table. Cold porridge is not my fav food but it was served like that. Pancakes had no syrup. The staff were not very enthusiastic. It's a shame that people dont enjoy their jobs. The food was normal. Had to eat this as not much else on offer. Arrived too early so had to endure the breakfast menu. The muffin seemed to have been on display for a long time. Rubber egg and crusty dry muffin.

Just another McDonalds. If you arr hurry, why not.

Do not visit this place, food was cold. Hash browns were cooked in burnt oil. Tastes like grease. Hot chocolate was not more than colored water. Waste of money. If you stop at this services avoid McDonald’s.

Absolutely appalling. Waited over twenty minutes for food on a Friday night. Food was stale, cold and flavourless. Staff could not help as did not speak English.

The address for this is southbound, but it's showing pinpoint on northbound!!! 2nd time visited early in the morning, and even though shows open 24 hours first time was not serving any food and today's visit not serving anything. Disappointed as the only other option was coffee from WH Smith, and you can imagine what that was like. Sort it out, McDonalds

They ask what sauce you would like, then give you none.

Awful place. Staff too busy gossiping to do any work, guy handling the food without a hair net or gloves just slapping stuff around. Ordered a large coffee which was half empty, these places are just here to take your money, customer service is secondary.

I was the only customer in-store and I ordered a latte. I was given hot chocolate and when I complained the server was pretty annoyed to have to correct my order.

The food always looks it's been sitting there for a few hours even though it's been just cooked at most McDonald's I been to. I only experienced top class service and proper fresh food from McDonald's in Europe

Dirty and messy, there are no napkins, you order one thing and another arrives. burnt chips, sandwiches inside the box spilled, the worst McDonald's I have ever visited

What you would expect from a maccies

Very delicious delicacies, i thoroughly enjoyed my food , the service was almost at the speed of light.

It's McDonald's. It has a limited menu but it is a service station but it does have all of the usual items and the new releases. True to form the milkshake is fab but also true to form, avoid the coffee. Tables inside and out and plenty of order stations with practical no wait.

An automated ordering system. Bit of a trial fir seniors as 'extras' pop up when you think you have completed your selection. Fast service to the table and still warm. Good effort for a motorway outlet.

Grim motorway service fast food stop-off but at least the service was fairly snappy and the coffee cheaper than Costa.

The new Bigmac is a pleasant surprise. I actually enjoyed it.

It's a McDonald's. Food is okay, Service was slow for this one, though it was busy and seemed a little under staffed. As for Atmosphere, it's a service station. No one is jumping around with joy

Very quick service & the only fillet of fish that come up looking like the picture normally the bun is hanging off the fish so well done.
