Very clean and tidy best one we have been to.

Actually find this mcdonald's really good service wise & location. Probably my favourite in the area as i find them helpful and dont have to wait long ( as intended by fast food).

One of the better McD's with good parking and nice outdoor seating area.

Terrible half of order missed an chips freezing can the servers read no sauces sent thing is I Don't drive if you ring all they tell you to do is pick missing items up der!!

I don't know what it is with this branch but the staff are always happy to help. Also, I can't fault the cleanliness of this McDonald's it's ALLWAYS clean and tidy

I have been here many times in their past. It continues to be one of my favourite maccies. Staff always welcoming and happy to help. Another added feature is the ability to park in the disabled parking bay just outside the main entrance.

Lots of people in but used table service food arrived hot and in under 10 mins.

Slowist McDonald's in south Yorkshire go to tankersley that's quicker

Food is as you expect but they always get orders wrong. Every transaction is made longer by returning to get the full order.

Awful from start to finish. Order on the app, had to tell them 3 times the order number got to the window to have my name quoted to me so why I couldn't say that in the 1st instance. Received drinks then told to go and park. The car park was full so had to block cars in the staff ran up and down the car park looking at reg plates to then take the food back inside. It took 15 minutes to get the order, so you guessed it.. it was cold. Not only was it cold but it looked like someone had taken a bit from my burger. After biting my burger I realised it had been massively over-salted to the point it was inedible. Shocking service and shocking food!

It’s third time when I’ve order something and they didn’t packed complete order . This time they missed triple cheeseburger

Staff forgot to pack one of my orders and when I went inside to collect it, the manager proceeded to argue with me. Poor service and bad attitude.

Atmosphere was my car which was absolutely banging! Service was slow, had to park around the corner as a poor lady played hunt the car in the rain, I felt sorry for her. I felt even more sorry when they got my order wrong and she had to go back in and correct it. If it wasn’t for her great attitude I would have moved my car again to take my hide and seek game to the next level. I didn’t. She gave me a bag of sauces in compensation for their issues. Wonderful lady forgot her name but she’s was ace.

Definitely one of the nicer McDonald's restaurants. Clean and spacious, plenty of parking and a good drive-thru

9 out of 10 times get the order wrong, slow service

Bought 2 Mc Chicken sandwiches which 1 was just about Luke warm and the other was as though it was just taken out of the chiller. My partner had a MC Chrispy which was burnt but just again Luke warm. Chips were soggy from being cold. The food is not freshly cooked and has been stood for a long time. My advice to anyone who wants a McDonald's DO NOT USE THIS ONE, you may well end up with food poisoning. Stay well away. I paid £19-23 and wasted my money. The only good thing was the drinking chocolate. May well get in touch with Mc Donald's head office about no food standards here.

As you would expect and good clean service

Normally, I don't waste time writing reviews. I only do it when something really impressed or disappointed me... Unfortunately, today was the latter. I always wonder why the drive-through is treated as if customers were second-class... But this time, what we received exceeded our worst expectations... Cold food, wraps without any extras or sauces, and the kids got a few cold fries in their Happy Meals... I regret not being able to stay and ask for a replacement of the entire cold and unfinished meal with fresh food like what other McDonald's restaurants serve. I wish the management would show more commitment to leading a team that performs their job correctly and according to the McDonald's standards...

This was the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been in, and the person cleaning was taking a real pride in her job, and said she wanted it to be as clean as when it opened. The food was hot. The staff seemed happy working there, so hopefully they are valued by their employer!!

A great location for a quick McBreakie, clean and tidy with lots of parking.

One of the better McDs with good parking g access and a ply area for kids. Service is a bit slow so lost a star for that. A bit flat atmosphere wise but that could be cause I had to wait forever for my order

Drive thru team are shocking, sat quing for over 30 mins and the food was stone cold. Not acceptable

The only problem I have at this mc donalds is the speed that people drive in they use it as a race track it needs some speed bumps in the entrance on the in side and the exit side I sat and watched people coming and going the speed they came in was ridiculous in my eyes it's a big health and safety issue and an accident waiting to happen

Chicken nuggets were red hot, chips were slap cold as always. Big mac was fine

I only love two mins away from this McDonald’s and the chips and chicken nuggets always cold and milkshake not even cold and when I’ve ordered a vanilla milkshake there half cup full strawberry milkshake in the vanilla and never have ice frappe in at all why have stuff on menus if ya don’t have it on or working or anything

Only McDonald's that takes forever to get your order out, I come here at least once a week and it service just never seems to get better, it's too slow. I've seen mangers shouting at staff. you may aswell go to the pub next door and that's terrible.

VERY VERY slow on preparing food waited 30 mins for food to only come out as cold it was very quiet but still very slow STAFF very rude and not polite Do not recommend at all!!!!

Ordered and was waiting 10 plus minutes. People waiting inside not being served only focused on cars . Ordered a cheese burger and they gave me a plain cheeseburger If I wanted to be waiting that long for my food I’d have ordered on Uber eats

We've been here twice for breakfast drive thru service, on one occasion it was fine, on the second occasion we waited 10-15 mins for our food, reportedly because the hash browns weren't ready. It amazes me how frequently we go to drive thru Macdonald's in a morning and they don't have key breakfast items ready cooked, just like they would fries at lunch time.

Birdwell McDonald's. This has to be the worst service McDonald I've been to so far. Lots of people were waiting on orders some had been waiting over 30 minutes. When approached the manager to ask why 6 cars at the drive through had been served and no one inside, the reply was I know it's rubbish isn't it followed by them going outside for a cigarette! Even when have attempted the drive through here it has been terrible service. I would not recommend this McDonald's.

Just got back home from here and 3 young lads smeared sauce tubs all over the play area and a young lady name Lydia who works there was fantastic on hand unfortunately our 6 year old had it all over her clothes. So Lydia A°+++ for your help really appreciate 🙂

Why do McDonald's never have any hash browns at breakfast when they come with each meal? Always a long wait.

we decided to order from this mcdonald’s tonight the delivery option on just eat/deliveroo is available until 12pm however our order was placed at 10.25 me and my brother ordered from just eat and friends ordered separately from deliveroo. our order didn’t come from just eat and deliveroo was late we are aware this issue isn’t the restaurants fault however after ringing the restaurant to see if they have received the orders the woman on the phone “christine” was outrageous! she lied to us about our order apparently “spat in our food” and kept hanging up the phone laughing in the background! i’ve never been so disgusted in a person in my life! a formal complaint will be made to the manager about her childish and disgusting attitude. the deliveroo order showed up at 1 am which is ridiculous and the food was appalling. wrong/ missing items , burnt food, cold food, melted deserts, etc.

Rang about an issue with delivery and the woman who answered the phone hung up instead of trying resolve the issue

They don't rush here waited awhile to get my food even though I ordered on the app and was pretty quiet. It looked like they were more interested in people going through the drive through than people in the shop

Visited for breakfast after a hospital visit. Wasn't very busy at all but had to wait ages and ages for our order. The sausage and egg muffin looked like it was thrown together. Also, change the oil in the fryers as the hash Brown's tasted and smelt like it needed changing.

We live in Manchester and were travelling back from the crucible sheffield on the M1 Kids wanted a macdonalds. Put in macdonalds and this one came up. On arrival we were greeted nicely by rhe staff. Put an order in and waited a while for order but staff kept asking if we were OK. When the food arrived everything was piping hot. Chips were full to the brim and everything was very tasty. The 2 ladies doing the cleaning and table service were very pleasant and the staff behind the counter including the lady manager were all very nice. Have to say from the mac donalds we have been to recently this was by far the best. With kids that is a lot of mac donalds. Deserves a better rating and when we go back to sheffield next year we would go back. Hopefully the experience would be just as good. Well done to the staff there for making our experience a good one.

This McDonald's is in completely the wrong place, it needs top swap with the tankersley one which is unfortunately my local one where deliveries come from. In contrast, the tankersley one consistently ▪️Serves cold food ▪️Gives you medium fries when you've paid for large ▪️Misses items from deliveries or sends the completely wrong order altogether ▪️Never has the milkshake machine on This branch (Birdwell) is the complete opposite, never had a single complaint 👌

Served quickly despite being busy, very clean restaurant, extremely helpful/friendly staff. Shout out to Scott in particular who was very helpful re using the app and cleared our rubbish for us. Very polite young man, a credit to the branch!

The best McDonald's in the UK! The staff are absolutely lovely, they always go above and beyond. The restaurant is spotless, no exaggeration - you could eat off the floor! There's always someone walking about cleaning all the surfaces. The bathrooms are so clean as well (not common in a lot of McDonald's). On top of all of that, the food is really good, and it always comes out hot, and really quickly. Such a pleasure to visit this McDonald's when we're in the area! Well done to all the staff and management, seriously good work done at this branch!

Used the drive through a few times but first time going into the restaurant but wont be doing that again The place felt dirty, the bins where over flowing, the staff stood at the entrance smoking and the delivery drivers just parked across the crossings. Just not a very nice experiance.

Just paid £1.19 for a cheeseburger and got two slices of soggy bread with a slice of cheese. Bought a few nuggets too, suppose I’ll have to put them on my burger.

Worst mcdonalds in Rotherham always nobody in there an still end up waiting 15 mins for food. Whilst they just sort there delivery's out 1st. Finally got my meal was Luke warm at best.staff were all rude and not botherd about people studd around, toilets were a half hour walj away and not been cleaned in about 15 years .bit off advice go to 1 at Asda only 5 mins away but slightly better service

What a great A-la-carte menu offered here. You can have your Big Mac with or without tomato, lettuce, gherkins, or fries, sides etc 😅🤣😅🤣😅

My first & last visit. Food quality was very poor; I had send some of the food back & demand some freshly cooked replacements. Credit where credits due, no arguments, happy to replace the food; & did so with a smile but no apology. Never again.

Ordered a big mac meal . Got it home to find half of the sandwich was missing . There was no filling in the top half of the Big mac. And the fries were cold. McDonald's is only a couple of miles away so its not as if the food had time to get cold.

This is the least busy and worst organised McDonalds I know. Went in today drive through went to first window to pay after placing my order. No member of staff I waited then thought noone was on the till went to second window had to wait for car In front then was asked if I'd paid. I would have if there had been someone there. Service is dire it's not fast food but slightly quicker food.

New store only opened 6 months or so ago, drive thru is always fast when compared to other local mcdees, never had any issues with orders so far.

Friendly and helpful staff do a fantastic job keeping the location tidy and clean with a smile and without complaint. They were kind and offered assistance before and as it was needed with a welcoming smile. The food was fresh cooked and enjoyable too. The ambience was good for a chat over a pleasant meal to recharge our batteries. We will return, often Dec 2022... Though we have returned weekly in last couple of months we find that the food is not consistent. When complaints raised we told they got new trainees... well how long does it take to train new people, and surely there is a review card to see how each burger should be constructed. It feels as if the gurkin is in short supply recently...also burgers often do not resemble those shown... sauces ordered not always given, with no explanation.... This has been one of our favourites but lately the food has let it down. Also a big difference in floor staff personalities... some bring your order and let you eat it while still warm, only checking briefly that all is OK AND that is fine with me, meanwhile others seem to want to force you to go online and comment on the venue and name them as helpful... this is not what I come for. I come to eat..., not to be pestered and prevented from eating. Not sure whats changed behind the scenes but a shake up is definitely needed.

Been this evening at about 8pm. Food was hard and cold. Even after ordering in-store. Was waiting at least 30 mins for food. No toys in happy meals. Burgers all wrong. Terrible. Unfortunately, after 9 months still no better! Every order for last 9 months has either been incorrect or has missing items. With the added bonus of no one taking responsibility either.

I love mcdonalds breakfast and have this every weekend. I used to use the Tankersley site but this one is a little closer unfortunately the service is so slow you are nearly 80% guaranteed to be waiting a while or even bayed and the majority of my orders have been incorrect which is frustrating. I now choose to go to the Tankersley site

Always give wrong food on drive thought had to go back and second was still no sauce will never go this one again.

When this McDonald's first opened it was ok now its going downhill, you can stand at the front to order without being noticed for ages, noone seems to be on till, then the service is taking about 10 minutes to get food, then if your order is correct which most of the time it's not, the chips are cold or the sandwich is smashed up, the pictures show some of the mess i have received from here, getting terrible this site

Been multiple times now, it's the worse run MacDonalds I've every been too always get parked regardless of order size, queue size,time of day and all standard items which aren't special orders , very rarely get the order right it's pretty embarrassing ordered in advance using the MacDonalds app and they still got it wrong. We have given up and gone back to tankersley which is a mile or two out of way but the staff there are great. Apparently we are not the only ones work colleagues have had the same experience. I feel sorry for the staff but there is something seriously wrong with the way this franchise is run.

This is without doubt one of the best McDonald's I have been to in years the sausage and egg McMuffin was cooked perfectly along with the hash brown which were both fresh and hot I hope there's new McDonald's carries on with this absolutely excellent quality of food as his so so prevalent in a lot of other stores many thanks

Generally low wait times, friendly staff and managing to keep everything clean and tidy locally.
