McDonald's in City of London, Westminster

This is my local McDonald’s, and as fast food doesn’t travel well via the apps, I visit this restaurant when needed. So, today, after waiting an age for my ‘fast food’, I got home five mins later to cold fries, burgers that had clearly been wiltering away under a heat lamp and a warm chocolate milkshake! If this was a one off, I’d probably not bother with a review but every time I visit this McDonalds, they just cannot get it right. I don’t have a receipt as machine rarely gives them anymore, the staff appear to wonder around aimlessly whilst many people are waiting for food and when you do need help/sauce/straws you get a response as if you’d just insulted them. This McDonalds appears to go against the principles of what it is meant to be, fast food, freshly prepared and great service, none of which I’ve witnessed here! I will not be visiting again, useless!

It was quite and we got served really quickly. Just to fill the gap whilst sight seeing London before we went to the hotel

Asked a lady a question and she walked away. It’s starting to get ridiculous now the waiters don’t even care. They need putting straight. Up the Clarets

6 of us went to this branch last night. The food itself was good but it certainly had some faulty aspects: our self-order machine didn't give out receipts, lots of desserts were not available which we love (no McFlurries at all) and when we ordered cookies on the machine (which it accepted), at the counter, we were told that there were not any so had to accept apple puffs - one of which contained mincemeat when we started to eat it. We weren't too pleased at having to pay for the sauces - 10p each The worst part was that the downstairs area was closed. The shop was very busy so we had to do a lot of juggling around of seats so that we could all sit together. Because of this, there was only the disabled toilet available for all the customers. One lady was so desperate having had to wait so long, that we all let her to the front of the queue. The lobby for the loo was becoming very crowded - not sure about Covid guidelines being followed. Is one loo legal for that number of customers - and what about if a disabled person had wanted to use the facility? We'd have had to wait even longer. There was quite a lot of tissue on the floor and coming out of the bin, so I guess that they had not been cleaned for a while. Overall, I feel that it certainly wasn't up to the standard of my last visit (over a year ago) when I would have given it 5*s. I think lack of staff is very evident which might relate as to why the downstairs area was closed and so many things were below the normal good standard of McDonalds

At this Macdonald´s they don't have any mayonaise for your fries. They just don't have it. When I asked for ketchup it seemed like a big deal , maybe you don't know but in a lot of fastfood rest's they give you ketchup without even having to ask for it. Maybe something to think about .......

My food was a little delayed for some reason. Nargis was absolutely lovely and noticed I had been waiting a while and went to make sure my food was being prepared and on its way. When the food did come, she brought it to my table herself and it had even been upgraded to a large meal. Thank you Nargis for looking after me 😊

First time visiting a McDonald's in about 5 years. They now have all the technology but have to appreciate that it is still human beings that put the ordersin place. No point having an app where I can order my food, it tell me that my order is being processed and then stand in the restaurant for an hour waiting for my order to be prepared. Admittedly it was a lunchtime, so I was expecting it to be busy but if everyone can order by machine, those machines have to take into consideration the amount of time it takes for human to process everything. I won't be going back. Not the fault of the staff, a fault of the system. And I bet they're on minimum wage too. Oh and the milkshake machine wasn't working and I only knew about not being able to order a milkshake when I got to the restaurant.

Staff closed off downstairs while we were visiting, unable to use toilets and poor idea of health and safety. Nearly fell on rubbish bags left on stairs.

I went into this place and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and pleasant it was inside. Quite peaceful for a large place.

Good quick service. Prices werent stupid for london very reasonable. Staff gave me 6 dips instead of 4 so rate that. Enjoyed sitting on the stairs built inside. Music was good. Some nuggets werent up to scratch but overall decent

Staff friendly. Used till and not self service as had a voucher. Restaurant clean and tidy and perfect location for Youth Hostel

Standard McDonald’s, packed, cheap and fast food! Not much to really say, place seemed clean and they have always got my order right. The staff enjoy to chat to each other more then interact with the customer but I don’t go into a McDonald’s for the friendly staff or a chat. It’s a grab and go

Orders got chocolate. Can’t really mess up a hot chocolate right?! Wrong. This place can. Received my hot cup of water, immediately took it back, got an attitude from the counter woman saying nothing was wrong with it.. asked her to try it.. the young man working as well snickered and told her yah it don’t taste right it hasn’t all day (then why didn’t you replace it?!?). She proceeds to dump it and give me a new cup.. which tastes the same.. so asked for another.. same damn thing, she was like I don’t know what to tell you, it tastes just fine. She wouldn’t refund my money. I just said screw it and left. What a waste of $7.

For a place that prides itself on service this one falls far below qhat you would and expect. I ate twice here as i had no choice the second ti.e and both times my order took over 20 mins to be prepared. 20 mins !!!!...
