McDonald's in Perth & Kinross

Absolute shambles of a place! hundreds of useless staff loitering about...waited 40 minutes for my drive through order then had to go in and find out where it was. It had been left on the side going cold so then had to wait while they cooked a fresh order!!

The worst McDonalds I've ever been at. Don't go.....! Order took 20mins to come out to the car park, and most of it was wrong.... Went into complain and couldn't move for people waiting for food. Also had no milkshake and no Fanta....

Took about 20 minutes to make my food

I ordered a click and collect only to find no click and collect so went on Facebook to warn people. Got bad mouthed as ‘lazy’ etc Identified as manager by other. Never going again

They didn't turn off the annoying alarms in the kitchen. Could hear constant annoying beeping from kitchen even at the back of the dining area.

Asked for double quarter pounder with no cheese,had a sticker saying no cheese,to my suprise,it had cheese.

Drive through causing chaos inside but I used the app so avoided most of the madness

My experience with the click-and-collect service at this restaurant was disappointing. Despite placing my order as usual and using the designated parking bays, my order did not arrive after 20 minutes. Upon entering the restaurant, I found my order waiting, but when I inquired about the delay, the manager and another colleague seemed unaware of the issue. I had higher expectations for their service. Silly me..

No McFlurries, "my colleague....eh manager.... is cleaning the machine" Manager is floating around in the background, no one near the machine. Regular excuse at this restaurant. Lazy staff!

Be prepared to wait 20min to 45mim at the drive through. And to have your food served at room temperature .... doesn't even taste like a normal mcdonald's. I used to love having a mcdonalds but with Broxden'site, EVERY SINGLE TIME I go it's the same story. Disgusted, waste of time and money.

We ordered food and they forgot to put chicken nuggets, sprite, burger and a happy meal toy. Service is terrible and they keep forgetting our food😡😡😡

What a joke today. Order wrong twice. Loads of staff place not busy but left after waiting 30 mins for Fries. No refund offered. Won’t be back.

Stopped here as we are travelling south the food was as what you would expect. But the restaurant was very untidy the bathrooms was very dirty and the grounds were covered in rubbish from the restaurant. Not a good look for McDonalds

Absolutely awful. Spent far too long waiting for order. The majority of the staff are not actually working and are too busy messing around or standing having a chat. One member of staff in the kitchen was showing off to his friends. One of the worst mcdonalds I've ever been to.

This restaurant is always busy when I go to it. This has resulted in some order errors but staff are quick to sort these. As it is always busy staff sometimes seem a bit stressed.

No receipts so not sure order number food Luke warm chips soggy no napkins no sauce toilets not great

Typical McDonald's no complaints

Don't go, on at least one shift you'll struggle to find someone who speaks English, very likely is on an expired vesa or a "student" you'll also find the food is tainted at just the right time. 5 years ago the place was just fine. Now it's a pit. Absolute embarrassment to McDonald's. Avoid. They also gave me food poisoning which is being reported.

Once again after leaving the drive through and continuing on pur journey yes stuff missing other stuff we didn't order were there. Certainly won't be returning to the broxden drive through twice now and both times they couldn't give us what we ordered

Ordered drink with no ice, got ice. Lid not fitted properly, and no mcflurry. Half hour wait at drive through. Not fast food. Not at all

Food nice and hot so no complaints there. Nowhere to put our rubbish yet looked very over staffed with what looked like around 12-15 people congregated at entrance to kitchen with only a few customers, yet all outside bins were overflowing so nowhere to put our rubbish. Only one really working hard was the girl mopping the floor

This surely must be one of the worst McDonalds around. At least it’s consistent. Consistently bad!! All sorts of mistakes (too many to detail) and poor quality food. I can’t understand why McDonalds allows this outfit to trade in their name. I have complained on numerous occasions but seems to fall on deaf ears. Always living in hope but another bad meal tonight!!!!

Went for a fairly late night drive thru meal. Arrived and only 3 cars waiting and 1 in front of me. Thought this will be good and fast….Boy was I wrong. 20 minutes later I get to the first window to pay. Having already paid using the app the guy just barely opens the window. Didn’t speak, didn’t say anything. I kinda got a look and he backed off. Was very strange. Drove forward again after a good 10 minute wait with no explanation as to why it took nearly 30 minutes to get a basic meal when there was hardly anyone in and could see plenty of staff on. Granted they were walking around completely clueless. Most staff didn’t have a clue what they were doing. Some spoke English very badly. Then came the food. The fries were cold and tasted stale. The Mc crispy I ordered was overdone and also tasted like it had been sitting and they thought. Hmm let’s just refry this and sell it anyway. Absolutely disgusting. My friend had the chicken and bacon wrap and said the dressing tasted sour and off so it went in the bin. The chicken nuggets we got were again over done and tasted like reheats. I put in a formal complaint to McDonald’s and was offered 2 free medium meals as an apology. I said I wasn’t I treated in a freebie the restaurant at Broxden needs staff that are properly trained and trained with food hygiene. Avoid avoid avoid. Make the trip in to Perth and go to the Dunkeld Road branch. It’s slightly better. Whoever the manager or owner of this beach is need to get their business sorted. It’s a disgrace!!!!

A bit dirty, but okay. It’s good that it’s open 24 hours per day.

Run by a teenagers who care so little that I could not eat my fries, they were so bad

When we visited - half of the seating area tables were blocked off with piles of chairs - not exactly a pretty look. But the bigger issue there is that it's leaving less space for social distancing. Increasing chances of catching COVID whilst eating inside. The printers in the self service machines are STILL not working. We were last there 2 months ago and they were broken then! The order numbers don't even flash up on the screen so you gotta go ask the staff you needed to wait on them to do so.... Who then needs to go off and find your order number from elsewhere to then come back and tell you. Self service is meant to be a time saver for everyone! I only stop by here for emergency food when travelling from the Scottish Highlands down to central belt. At least the chips were both ACTUALLY hot AND salty enough when we got them this time. A rarity in our experiences!

Went for a McFlurry at 11pm (drive through). It took 20 minutes, 5 cars in front of us. No apology or explanation for the wait, I could see my McFlurry sitting, melting, the whole time. When I finally got the the window to collect it there was no staff member at the window. 5 minutes later someone finally appeared and handed me the now melted McFlurry. First time I've experienced this at the Broxden McDonald's, normally great service. Very disappointing!

Faulty ordering terminal. Food was good. Staff were professional and polite. Premises was clean.

All seemed ok! There was something brown and minging in the sink in the ladies toilet tho. Maybe need to up their cleaning rota in here. Otherwise all seemed good.

Very slow, even though we ordered pick up via app. Large fries were ordered but there was hardly any in it. Less than half. It was too late for us to turn back on our journey.

Broxden macdonalds is a rat festival! They dint get your orders right they miss items, there is empty food boxes all over their floors with food items all over the floor it's better ran as a bad show. Avoid this macdonalds at all costs

Ordered 3 meals, only recieved drinks. Come on broxden get it together. Ridiculous

What ever happened to taking pride in your work? Today, I chose the limited edition steakhouse stack. First impressions, it's was thrown together and not carefully constructed. I had to put it together so I could eat it. The peppercorn sauce completely overpowered the burger. And there's my pet hate, people who work in a food environment with long hair and NO HAIRNETS. I don't care if it's tied up. Hair still falls loose into food. And then there's the female staff that think swishing their ponytails around food areas is OK. Please, Macdonalds, follow the food safety standards and get those hair nets out. It may not be attractive, but at least it will be hygienic.

Not coming back,So very disappointing when it arrived it was cold no taste! We’re left most of it and left!

Medially food is the same wherever you go. It's the service that changes it. This one at Broxden is winning. The staff there know their assignment. Most McDonalds you find the managers are constantly Barking orders at the staff. Not here. The manager was serving and doing all the leg work himself. Well done sir, lead from the front

Me and my friend Marky poo found the food here to be first class which explains the sign outside the mcdonalds calling it "the world famous Broxton round a boot micky dees" would stuff my face here again!!!!?

Lovely hot food delivered quickly

Food was hot ,not like some places I have been to, toilets are clean, but the mens can only fit two people at a time..

Alarms repeatedly goin off and hurting my hearing. Food very average and staff indifferent tae customers.

Not too long a wait. The ordering process was excellent. Efficient payment system and punctual supply of food ordered. Best caffe latte I have had for some time.

Cold food overworked uncaring staff

We have very mixed results at this branch, it is definitely a hit or miss experience everytime we go to this one. The only reason we even go to this branch is purely because it is on our way home and the other branch would result in an extra half hour round trip after a long day. Today at drive thru we had to park and wait for our food. Due to them bringing out multiple orders at the same time then wandering aimlessly around the car park looking for the correct cars in minus temperatures our food was half cold by the time we even got it. If I hadn't queried where the happy meal was the assistant wouldn't have given us it and upon getting home we realised that our big and cheesy with bacon meals had infact no bacon on them and the cheese dippers had no dip. Despite the poor service and inability to make the correct food the new big and cheesy burger is actually really pretty tasty (probably even more so with bacon but I wouldn't know) We would contact mcdonalds to complain but after doing so many times before, like the time they missed out the middle bun of a big mac?!?! We didn't feel it was worth the effort just to get a discount code to use on another potentially disappointing experience. Do better Broxden McD's

Drive through Perth macdonald's food cold tasteless.

Popped in for breakfast before catching a coach. Food was as expected. The ‘hot chocolate’ however was the worst I have ever had. Tasted like puddle water. Couldn’t detect the taste of chocolate at all. Went right in the bin. If I wasn’t in a rush to get on my coach I would have taken it back because something was seriously wrong with it. The touchscreen order thingys never print out receipt. Your luck it it even tells you your order number. Atmosphere is good though and seating area nice and clean.

Hot food served fast and a chance for a McWee on a long journey.

Food was fresh and cooked properly (a luxury these days!) Service was quick. Toilets could do with more cleaning and the carpark had cars going the wrong way round but generally a good experience.

Slow to come to the till to take an order however food was good but could have been great. Nuggets were pre cooked earlier and could have been fresher as two 20 nugget boxes is a reasonable order for gold!

Service as per expectation from a good McDonald's. We had lunch and it was all clean and nice. The parking is ample but a bit congested for big SUVs or Van.

Fries was cold and tasted like it reheated three times before.

I think the waiting time is good compared to other McDonald's.

Generally service is very good . Sometimes can be slow at quieter times.

I think the fries were just out the freezer. INEDIBLE. The cheeseburger wasn't much better. In their defense this was at 4.30 on a Tuesday morning, BUT is that a good enough reason? I'd say no.

Machines did not print or show order numbers, however a member of staff assisted to find our order. A minor hiccough but not the end of the world

Went through the drive through, was decent. No real complaints, but nothing to sing about.

Chips did not have salt and we did not get served with atleast a smile.

Retraining needed along with machine repairs. Thought we would treat ourselves to a McDonald’s, first time for a long time. What a let down. No milkshakes, no frozen drinks and a sprite that tasted like soda water which needed diluting juice when I got home for some flavour. Glad we went for large as the chips were only half full. Although less than a five minute drive from here we had to microwave all the food as it was cold. We also got ice cream - less than half full and melted when I got home. Could not have been firm when we got it I know everyone is trying to save money but this was ridiculous. Have the staff been told to just give half portions? Even the hold for drinks was week and floppy. Will be a while before we try McDonald’s again

Sat in that qué for an ice cream in the drive thru only to there was no ice cream. As I said to the manager Miss Attitude Aimee could you not put a notice at the front so for people who just want ice cream they wouldn't waste their time queuing. To be honest she has no customer service skills and couldn't of cared less. Am not complaining to McDonald's, I don't want your vouchers and I won't be be back.

It's ok but if you don't get an order number when you use the machine and ask for one god help you, you get looked at like you have two heads....... As I work in hospitality, it's a given that a smile goes far and here it really doesn't..... Sorry but very VERY poor 😞

Charged for cheese on 3 burgers, is labelled on the burgers to add cheese and didn't receive cheese. This happens quite frequently or items missing completely. tried to call to inform Mcdonalds of this but no answer.

Totally done with this place now. As previous reviewer says “Absolute Shambles”. I have complained to them numerous times about various issues , they put my name in their book for a free meal but now passed all that. Will never go back there again. Too many issues to write about. Shocking, McDonalds reputation being damaged by this lot.

Ordered using the self serve screen and then waited about 25 minutes for our food, for it then to be thrown on the counter like it was rubbish being thrown in the bin! The bags fell over and some of the food spilled out but the guy serving just walked away. Some of the boxes inside were bashed and the burgers had clearly just been thrown together. Some of the worst staff I have ever seen, no customer service at all.

Very busy lunch, as there is high demand for fries at this time, there really is no excuse to serve old tasteless fries

Ordered via the self service screens. Place was busy, so wasn’t expecting quick service, but order was on the screen as ready to collect 5 mins before it arrived. Food was lukewarm; the bacon in my burger was so pink I’m sure I heard it oink. Just removed it, as I wasn’t taking a risk with food poisoning or waiting for another order. Disappointing. What was the worst was when I had to go back to ask for straws for our drinks, three of the young lads behind the counter were busy talking and swearing between themselves and ignoring me. Management needs to address this poor customer service. Restaurant was clean and tidy though with a young girl doing a great job tidying and cleaning down tables. Won’t be back and don’t recommend.

Rude customer service. Brought my mcflurry, no eye contact or words after waiting 20 minutes for mcflurry - don’t know what was taking them so long place was empty. Server then proceeded to tip mcflurry on table while attempting to serve. Charger plugs don’t work. Rubbish left on tables - not been cleaned for over an hour? If this wasn’t enough, ordered a happy meal with a toy and got a book instead.

McD's makes the most addictive fries because of the studied combo of fats, salts and sugars. But these fries didn't have enough salt compared to McD fries you'd get in North America. Totally did not satisfy craving. But service was ok, fries not too greasy. This missing salt taste happened at another McD's in Scotland so I guess it's the formula you use here. Too bad.

I came here twice for breakfast and had a McMuffin and a large cappucino. Incredibly good value for money and really fast turnaround times. The drive-thru is always busiy.

Had food there most mornings and a couple of evenings. Brilliant friendly staff who gave us advice about surrounding area. The food was served very quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and tidy. This was our first visit to a McDonalds and we will definitely be going to our local one and will recommend.

Just picked up a quarter pounder large meal from Broxden McDs. Shocking, pathetic excuse of a burger. It looked like something a kid had been playing with. Hard, dried out and very nearly burnt patty. Barley anything on it but the most meagre sorry looking veg and sauce you will ever see. You have got to be kidding me that they can continue to get off with this. Where is the oversight by actual McDonald’s. HELLO!!! This place is in dire need of help.
