When me and my family came the food was amazing and I really loved it

Great food great service at a good price!

Great food was not greasey like some fish and chips. the only flaw was the curry sauce and garlic mayo had leaked when being delivered.

food is cold and just edible as the Gluten free fish is not gluten free, and pickled onions are meant to be served in a separate pot not on the same order of someone allergic to gluten and picked onions we won't be ordering from you again

Everything was ok except the two portions of chips was like trying to eat rocks. Couldn’t even get one portion out of the two that was edible. The fish was reasonable, the chicken was good. Sorry not for us again.

Food has always been nice pleased to pay the price for the food but come on guys £1.20 for a slice of bread and butter and £2.50 for a can of coke I can see where you make your mark up.

Managers attitude, towards our self and employees was horrendous. We asked for tables to be cleaned and his exact words were I am not here todo that that’s what I have minions for ! The person in question black shirt one of the others staff called him Alassandro. Once we were talked to like that and his disrespectful manner to staff we just left as we were leaving he said to another member of staff good riddance. This level of disrespect and downright rudeness is just unacceptable and especially if this was the so called manager. We won’t be back and will let everyone we know to avoid at all cost because of this !

Where to start!!! Food order kept getting delayed! When it did turn up my coffee was a can of coke. The toast was actually a roll that was beyond soggy having been dumped in with the food and covered in beans. The sausages were more pepper than meat! I could have drank a cup of their used chip fat and it been a far more pleasurable experience than the tattie scone. The fact my dog didn't even try to pinch the leftovers on the table when i popped out, says its all about the quality of the food!

I usually love blue lagoon and thought I would try Perth. I had to check my order again to see if I ordered kids portions it was really small. The macaroni tasted off I couldn’t eat it and the fritters were tiny and really greasy. I enjoyed the chips but not enough of them. Think I will avoid this place from now on total waste of £20

I always visit Blue Lagoon to eat a meal; brunch sometimes but usually lunch. Their f@c is well prepared and a large fillet in batter is always the norm. I opt for tea, which is included in the price. Coffee needs to be of much better quality though and I know my coffees. Service is quite prompt yet respectful of my need if a few minutes to myself going through the menu. Polite, yet friendly and interested staff attend tables. The Blue Lagoon is ALWAYS clean, floors and tables, and the toilets are discreetly out of immediate sight around the corner within the restaurant. It is well-situated in the town, at the head of the High Street pedestrian concourse which contains most of Perth's big stores Just one block away from the Playhouse Cinema complex and the adjacent Mill Street Bus ranks and taxis too

Ordered one burger& chips with beans & one sausage, chips with curry sauce. One Capri sun and a fruit shoot, £30 and was absolutely dreadful. (They don't do a kids burger meal but I asked and the server said they don't although he would this time. Then when the bill came I was actually charged an adults meal but they gave me less chips and charged for the fruit shoot seperate) Chips were below average, sausage was the same but the burger was absolute disgusting!! My daughter insisted on a burger only for her to spit out the first bite in disgust so I tried to prevent waste by eating it but I also had to spit it out!! Absolute waste of money!! If anyone wants real quality every damn time go to 'fish& chip co'. Feel the whole family for less than £30 and have never even had a bad chip!! Will never set foot in blue lagoon ever again!! Disgusting place!! Also the fake palm tree in the middle is absolutely thick with dust which is blown by fan all over your table, lovely touch!!

Order was initially advised for delivery by 7pm and subsequently by 7.25pm. I imagine given the time of year that the company is very busy but it would be helpful not to be told one time for delivery and then it end up being somewhat later than that. Regardless, the food is always good and arrived hot and ready.

Meticulous attention to detail! Outstanding service, hygiene and polite beyond expectations. Best chips I've had in a while. Everything cooked in fresh oil and you can tell the difference. The delivery time get getting pushed later and later and when the food was eventually delivered it was stone cold. Only explanation given by the restaurant was that their second delivery driver had “car troubles”. Not very impressed at all.

I have been waiting over an hour for my food, its currently 10 to 9, still and finallyarrived 25 minutes late, I tried calling the restaurant 3 times no one answered, I'm very disappointed and hoping for my money back.

I forgot to ask the name of the guy that served me but he was great, food was fresh and all staff I interacted with were lovely.

Excellent service by young girl who's only been employed here for 3 weeks and it's her first job.. The food met my complexed dietary requirements. Upon speaking to the manager we stuck accord with many similarities. From chefs, waitress manager and even the food delivery man. They were all very professional, caring, courteous, and happy.

Food was nearly 2 hours late. Phoned the restaurant 3 times and got given the run around. Food eventually arrived and it was cold. Was eventually given excuse about a car breaking down, but this was much later on. Unexpected problems happen, but not telling the truth for nearly 2 hours and then delivery cold food is abysmal

We came here twice. Once to just try a deep fried mars bar on our way somewhere else and once we sat in and had some fish and chips. Both times the people here were very nice and with a lot of patience when it became clear we where tourists with no idea what to order. The food was tasty but one star off because it was very greasy in a way like it wasn't even dripped off after frying which of course affects the taste.

Pretty well-run Blue Lagoon outlet and I really appreciate the kindness of the staff. I ate the Chef’s Choice here (Fish and Chips with peas, bread, and drink). However my fish filet had some spines in it. After I complained, they gave me another fish filet with no extra charge! I really appreciate them.

This fish supper was one of the worst I've had from Blue Lagoon. The batter was soggy and swimming in oil, the fish was full of bones, and the chips were so bad they could have been a week old. Awful.

Fries taste like nothing, like they've been sitting there for hours. You can't cut steak pie because it's so hard. Also, they don't offer beer. No recommendation!!!!

Delivery guy was on time and very friendly. Food, however, was a disappointment. The burgers used to be great - real meat with good quality buns (they’d even put flower on it). This time, however, I actually think they shoved a Rustler’s burger in the microwave and thought I wouldn’t notice - taste, texture and appearance was exactly like theirs and nothing like what I’d expected from Blue Lagoon.

This was a great find. Did exactly what it advertised. Wide choice of meals, spotlessly clean restaurant area. Friendly staff, quick service. A lot of attention to detail. Would recommend.

We popped tonight to pick up some food on our way back from edinburgh. Nothing was ready in the hot display which meant our food was cooked to order, I was happy with that …….. so disappointed with our food when we arrived home a few mins later , the chips are rock hard and no sign of any potato ever existed within them. The fish was fine other than being drenched in salt !!! Straight in the bin … shame on you serving food like this which you obviously know you’re doing …….

was originally due at 18.15 finally arrived at 19.15. one text to say it's running a little late. no apology or explanation as to why. I have had from here before and the chips and peas portion size was not very good. has put me off using again as dont seem to really care about customer and only want there money and delivery charge for this kind of service is disappointing

Waited well past estimated time ap said it was delivered at 11.30 i ordered at 10.25 Nothing came so i phoned restaurant directly they said it leftv20 minutes sgo Finslly got order at 11.52 It was far too cold to eat...threwvit in bin. Never use

Came here as the chip shop I usually go to was closed today. Usually pay £8.50 for a fish supper but this place charges £12.50! On top of that the portion of chips was half the size. The staff looked thoroughly miserable and were in no hurry so had to stand and wait for ages. Will not be back!

Absolutely recommend this chippy the food is lovely and the battered marsbars are lush the only only down side is the price.

We made take away so we stayed infront of the kitchen while they where preparing. Never tasted worst chips and mac&cheese (we had to trow all of it). The fish was okay…nothing spectacular. The kitchen personal was cooking without gloves and washing their hands with dirty napkins. Not recommended!

Where do I start? I have never left a review for a chip shop. The second time in 10 days as there tonight. Last time the food was very average but what got me was one member of staff, he did not want to be there and I he did, that’s more worrying. Tonight, I had gone in and there he is, I asked what is that, white pudding he said, it did look like a black pudding so asked again and with a dark stare, it’s white pudding. Got it big fella. Single black, I mean white pudding that was drier than Ghandis flip flop! Sorry but not a great experience. Bring back Holdgates. ✌️✌️

Forgot curry sauce and salt on chips

Unfortunately, fish & chips have been eaten better too often. The fish and mushy peas were just bland, but the soggy, floury, white fries were inedible. At least there was a slice of untoasted bread instead. The worn furniture or the fact that only foreign tourists were eating here at the same time should have warned us enough.

absolutely rotten. spent £32 on a fish supper with 2 bits of fish so soggy they were completely stuck together. had 3 bites of the fish and found 2 bones so it went in the bin the chips were floppy and soggy ate some of them to get rid of the hunger. my friend had 4 bites of her soggy Kingrib then binned. there was not a single crispy bit of batter on any item. mozzarella sticks we ate one and realised they were horrible too. my teenager liked the chips and curry

Friendly welcome, clean & quirky decor with tasty food & good prices. Great menu choices also. Kids fish goujons & chips with drink included Nuggets & chips & drink Adults fish deal with 2 fish, mushy peas, drink & bread & butter & another but just one fish with curry sauce & a drink really tasty. Only complaint the plates weren’t big enough ha ha. Didn’t get a photo as was so hungry but food is presented well also. Condiments on the table so just help yourself. Would go back if was ever was in the area. Warm goodbye from staff also.

Unfortunately the chips were very average for what we paid, we also sat in which added to the expense. I think you get a lot more chips wrapped and taken away. The fish was a tiny piece in a huge amount of batter, tasteless really. Service was very good friendly waiter.

Stopped by for fish and chips after a show at the Concert Hall in Perth. Chips were pleasant and sausage was cooked fresh. Sadly run out of curry sauce. Was offered student discount which was great. Would buy again.

Great service. We were served by a guy ( I think called Sandy) and he always had a smile on his face and was very polite. The quality of food was really good. Was too quiet to judge the atmosphere but I'd gladly come here again.

Been in a couple of times with my friend and her mum. Must say the food is really good, very crisp batter on fish, white pudding was moist not dry. Scampi was very tasty. Macaroni was delicious. Plates were full. Chips taste really good. Service was friendly. We will definitely be back .

We chose special fish (breaded haddock) and that was very delicious. Portion was massive we could hardly finish it. Manager and staff were very helpful and welcoming.

We popped in here for dinner whilst out on the motorbikes. The food was quite basic tasting and over priced to dine in . 1 deep fried mars bar was £4.50 . You can buy a pack of 4 for £1.50

I don't know if this place has changed hands and is new owner under same name or what but it has gone down hill rapidly. Very high prices and small portion sizes. Not surprised place is like a ghost town. Expect to pay nearly £13 for battered fish supper with 2 small pieces of fish and staff that clearly do not enjoy their job. Chips are under fried, pale looking and not very tasty and very, very greasy. The grease actually penetrated the wrapping paper and soaked my wife's leg in the car on the way home. Avoid this place. You can get much better and much cheaper fish supper pretty much everywhere else in Perth. I won't be back.
