Disgusting sauce everywhere food missing refussed to fix missing 2 portions on nuggets this is the worst experience I’ve had

Got my kids dinner delivered from McDonald’s which I ordered 5 chicken select meal which come with 20 over cooked mozzarella sticks instead, with stale cold fries and got a 6 chicken nugget meal which come with 2 chicken nuggets and stale cold fries . I rang McDonald’s to say about this and they just palmed me off to Uber eats who will do nothing about it . I spent £22 for nothing and McDonald’s couldn’t have cared about the fact they messed the order up . It’s not the first time they messed up like this but this is the last time I use this McDonald’s ! Hands down the WORST MCDONALDS IVE EVER SEEN ! Train your staff properly it’s not hard to put the right food into the boxes . 2 disappointed kids .what a joke of place 😡👎👎👎👎👎

Reading the reviews on here giving poor reviews on this restaurant somehow mystifies me, we use the restaurant every week with our grandchildren and every week have a first class welcome and service , the restaurant is kept spotless in all areas, toilets are immaculate always, floor staff go above and beyond to help if you need it and nothing is a problem, as for the food it's as good as you can get from MacDonald, just visit other outlets and judge for yourself, the team here are a credit.

Lovely McDonald's, cracking views and extremely friendly staff. I'm local and go regularly as my children/grandchildren are very well looked after by the staff.

Visited this branch, today on 18th April 2024 at lunch time. Ordered cheese burgers and fries, disappointed as both the burgers and fries were just warm, the fries felt rubbery as if they had been cooked a while, before we had eaten the burger and fries they got cold, if there is an area manager, he should take this up, especially as two meals with drinks cost over £17.00, won’t be visiting this branch again, don’t think it was overly clean either, our table needed a clean. This was especially disappointing as I live around one hour’s drive away.

We are frequent McDonald's customers so know what to expect. On our visit, the grilled chicken wraps were awful - hard overcooked chicken, very little filling. The chips were soggy and had obviously been hanging round for some time and pretty much inedible! Even the grandchildren left a large portion of their burgers and chicken nuggets which were barely warm. The service was OK, but the staff hairnets are NOT doing what they are (presumably) worn for i.e preventing hair in food. We will definitely not be visiting Abergavenny McDonalds again, but will travel out of town when the grandchildren request a McDonald's.👎👎👎

Ordered food asked for a meal then stated I wanted a meal because the boy asked again still only got just a burger and a coke ,which the burger was stone cold and the coke cola was warm seems every time I've been there they just can't get it right hopefully management will read there reviews and kick there staff up the arse!

Never review a McDonalds, but hoping some senior or regional manager reads this and heeds some simple points. The service here is simply terrible. 3 consecutive drive thru orders missing food upon getting home. No apologies offered and a free delivery or refund refused. The best being an empty box of pancakes. Avoid like the plague now.

I waited 45 MINUTES for my order the one day. the food is bog standard mcdonalds and occasionally good, but how can you consistently forget sauces, straws and even parts of orders. The amount of times I have had to ask for the fries, milkshakes or even chicken nuggets that I have ordered is ridiculous.

I notice that this Mc Donalds has some pretty poor reviews but speak as you find up until yesterday I have always found the food service accetable. Yesterday I ordered pancakes and maple syrup, now I love maple syrup and the pancakes compliment it quite well. When I collected the order I asked for an extra Maple syrup and was promptly told that it was company policy and I could only have 1, I asked if I could purchase a maple syrup and was told rudely NO!!! I have had pancakes and maple syrup in Mc Donalds all over the country and never have I been refused, I don't think that my extra portion of maple syrup will affect the profits too much. The girl who served me definitely needs to improve her customer relation skills.

Truly and consistently appalling. I have never once been to this place and received anything approaching competent service. This evening was no exception. It too 18 MINUTES to get through the drive-through. I timed it. Other times I’ve been there (at different times of the day, and either had to wait for ages, or park-up while they finished cooking the food. Often both. Glaciers move at a faster pace than the staff here. Avoid this place, unless you’re specifically after a half-hour break from your journey.

Pulled into the drive through and waited for someone to take our order. While sat waiting, another car pulls up to the other lane and were served instantly. Myself and my partner both verbally exclaimed “wtf” only to then hear some guy say “one sec”. Minutes later after the adjacent car had then pulled off, probably paid and received their food, did the same guy ask our order with no apology or acknowledgment for the delay. Cherry on the cake…we arrived home to find that the food was barely warm, burger looked as though it was frisbee’d into the box and stuff was missing from the order. Past few experiences at this particular McDonald’s have been crappy at best, the service reflects the state of the food really 🤢

Awful Mcdonalds food missing and stone cold so had to go back. The fries if you can call them that well looked like they'd been fried all day. So made them give me fresh ones, when I got home these were stone cold and barely cooked. The double cheeseburger was so cold the cheese hadn't even melted after an 8 minute journey home and we had to wait for that burger to be made we wanted extra gherkins. By far the worst McDonalds meal I've ever had anywhere in the world. My quarter pounder with cheese and fries was cold. I first tried the fries and they were cold, as were my sons, so I took them both back and exchanged them for some equally cold ones. My son told me that a nearby table had said the same when they saw me take mine back. The burgers were also cold. It was obvious that the food had been sitting ready packed for some time. I ordered a Big Tasty with Bacon large meal and two Large Big Mac Meals.. using the McDelivery App. Upon Delivery I was missing Two Big Mac Meals. I phoned the restaurant to complain and I was told to phone Uber Eats Customer Services. Upon phoning Uber Eats Customer services I was told by customer services that because I have raised a Number of food complaints with Abergavenny McDonalds in the past regarding their incompetence with regards to missing food items they are unable to take my complaint any further on this occasion and they apologise for the inconvenience caused! Avoid Abergavenny McDonald’s Like the plague! The entire Restaurant team including their Managers clearly Need Retraining! As clearly they cannot put together a simple food order without making mistakes and inconveniencing the customer! In fact shut the restaurant down and replace it with a Burger King or KFC!

A trip to Abergavenny to collect an item with my grandson. So the treat was a McDonalds. Good thing he was with me as you have to order through a 'screen' but he was more than au fait with that. Double cheeseburgers, fries, hot/cold drinks and McFlurrys. Order was ready in a few minutes and was very nice although not something I could eat too often. Restaurant appeared clean and bright and the staff friendly enough.

Last 10 meals have all had items missing! I don't know what the problem is but every meal we buy has something wrong. Last night we ordered 2 large big mac with bacon meals only to discover that the bacon was missing. As it was a drive thru I didn't see the error until I got home. Came in here for a take-out to return back to my hotel room. I found the place to be really good. The staff were excellent and helpful to other customers. The food I ordered was great and hot. The drive-in is extremely busy in the evenings. It's a McDonalds so you should know the food you're going to get here. I didn't have any problems at all so I would come back again.

OK, it's a McDonalds. They only really have to do one thing right and that is a burger. Although they sell several different varieties, it cannot be that hard to get it right.

It is usually very well presented. When a young man called Simon is on duty front of house the restaurant is always spotless and he is very helpful asking is everything ok with our meals. Only criticism is drive through you always have to park up to wait for your meal.

I use this Macdonald's every day for a coffee on my way to work. Last week I waited for two mins at the order point. With no ackowledgement, then a car pulled up at the other order point and got served straight away. How does this work. When I drove to the pay point, the lady operating there offered no apology and explained the person operating that lane also operates the front of house. Fine but how are we on know which lane.

Found this McDonalds whilst doing a bit of sightseeing in the mountains, it was obviously quite new with a decent car park. Quick service with everything correct delivered to our table plus we were even asked if our meals were all alright & was there anything else we needed! Very clean & tidy restaurant with the toilets just the same. Best bit was the mountain view whilst eating.

Service can be so hit and miss at McDonalds around the country but I must say since the one in Abergavenny has opened, I’ve always had faultless service. Never get an order wrong, food comes quickly, staff seem fine and food is always good. It’s about time Abergavenny had a McDonalds and this one is a really good one!

I ate here twice while staying at the Premier Inn nearby and it was perfectly satisfactory although not the quickest service I have ever experienced in a McDonalds. The food was fine as ever and it was quite roomy and very clean and bright.

When eating out with allergies it can be a nightmare, but the staff here were fantastic and very helpful with providing and ingredient list and giving cross contamination info.

How a simple order can have things missing is beyond me.....the whole point of using this drive through was to get a quick and easy dinner for hubby, kids, my mum and myself.

I travell around the country on a regular basis and McDonald's is a place I use regularly.

OK it's a McDonald's. They have a system. You drive up, you order, you pay you collect.

Plenty of parking in this new Mcdonalds just outside Abergavenny. Fairly quick service. Usual Mcdonalds food. On our visit the self service screens were not working, therefore we had to wait in the short queue and the staff had to work harder.
