McDonalds in Northumberland

Paid £4.19 for a mcplant, waited for around 20 mins, order never arrived, threw ticket over counter.

Disgusting customer service and honestly would give this place a 0/5 if I could. Got some mcflurries and fries to go as we were stopping off to charge our vehicle. The portion of ice cream was ridiculous and when asked if they can top it up they refused, claiming the machine only allows this much and there was nothing they could do. There was an employee laughing at the back at the request. Just extremely disappointing that the people McDonald’s employs have no manners, decency or common sense. Would definitely recommend you go anywhere other than here!

Fast service, some staff where rude but it wasn't terrible, nice food, however the tables weren't the cleanest but it was alright

The evening 20th Feb 18.00 hours. I was waiting for my food and McDonald's staff (gentleman) in a corner had a sip of his drink. Woow for my shock the manager/Team leader ( I don't know who) shouts at the man In front of all of the customers, asking not to drink. The staff ( the gentleman) had no place to hide his head with shame. I felt so wrong and sorry to be there. I know the Macdonald's policy won't allow staff to eat or drink by the counters but to shout at the staff like that is not right. Respect !

Service was good and speedy. Quality of the food was good too. I was on a day trip and stopped here with my family for fuel and food on our way back home. However, There was a staff member; who was wearing a white shirt who seemed short tempered to other staff members and me whilst I was collecting the food from the service counter. Apart from this pitfall, the food was good and we enjoyed our meals.

Worst customer service experience ever and I’ve been to prison. Waited half an hour for a rap and three chicken mayo’s

at around 0820hrs on 23rd september 2022, attended local mcdonalds at alnwick, U.K, just off the A1. Upon entering there were around some 20 customers, only one of whom was standing. Proceed to kiosk to await being attended on, there was only my self and one other customer waiting. Upon looking at the screen there were only two orders active, and could see at least 3 staff behind counter. Waited for at least 5 mintues to be served, time continued to pass. Finally gave up and left after realising was going to be ignored and not be served. Very poor customer service. Will not be attending again

My family and l stopped on the way to visit Alnwick castle, in all my years in eating at mcdonalds I've never experienced staff as attentive and friendly as Raymond. On a busy bank holiday Monday he took the time to help us find a seat and checked on us again while helping others. People could learn alot from him

Because we live in Alnwick this is the closest McDonald’s to us, however it is definitely the worst. Almost everytime we go we need to go back for missing items and on this occasion they missed items and as I went back they gave me the wrong sandwiches AGAIN. Very poor service.

Busy-ish queue for the drive-thru and I went in to get a cheeseburger for long drive home. Not serving in the restaurant (despite serving someone in front of me). Drive-thru only. I couldn't do this as I had stopped at Alnwick to charge my electric car. Pretty poor for a fast food restaurant who can't cope with fast food!!!

Lucas, Kieron and Caitlin were terrific towards me and my family great service and I could tell they were smiling will be back soon

Alnwick McDonald’s drive through! This lady’s name is Gillian and was on from 2pm that day and she was so polite and made conversation while waiting, said she enjoys the busy spells and was happy to be at work! Nice to see during this time!! Thanks for the service Gillian!

Appealed behaviour from a staff member who chased. I mean chased down a kid who needed the toilet and then told her to get out of the restaurant and wait till the customer in front finish his order and she did not even have to go past him he then continued to run in and out the female and mails Toilets then chase a couple people who did not wash there hands. What! But a great management team.

A little girl was realy needing the toilet but the man screamed at her and told her to get out and and was runing to the door but a girl was trying to do her oder and he dident help her and. When i give you the resipt he did it realy fast so he dident catsh covid 19 he thought it was the end of the world

Just ordered double sausage and egg mcmuffin meals and took away.. Opened bag and bottom of bag was saturated in grease it was literally running out of paper... Absolutely disgusting 🤢 never ever go back their

We read the signs at the door, put on our masks and entered. A "worker" called Paul told us to get out. Apparently there was meant to be someone on the door inviting people in. The lady behind us walked in past Paul with no mask. I pointed this out and Paul looked confused. The food was fine, but Paul needs a lesson in manners and how to treat customers.

The food was amazing I haven't had an experience like it,it was the best meal I've ever had,I highly recommend going there the food is amazing.

I've been using this restaurant regularly since opening until last summer, I got fed up with the incorrect drive through orders, today I went for the first time in months and was told to wait in bay 1, after 15 minutes my cold meals arrived without drinks, I got the drinks 5 min later. The staff are pleasent but I'm guessing that the regular turnover of staff causes problems, I won't be back soon.

Just called in and tried the new chicken fajita wrap, top marks!! Lovely hot fries and top class Flat white. Many thanks for quick service

Was quite busy when we arrived for breakfast , ordered the meal online using McDonald’s app , when we got the order to the car we realised it was wrong ! Nice spacious restaurant plenty parking and the toilets were really clean

helpful staff lovely and clean premises Bridgette was exceptional helpful when dealing with the spillage of coffee we managed to create on our table!!

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever visited in 4 continents!The place was dirty the staff rude and scruffy and the Manager just spent his time outside smoking next to the petrol station!They pervading attitude seems to be that the customer can take it or leave it, I will leave it.

Went to redeem our monopoly tokens which was an ice cream cone, mcflurry and an apple pie. I ordered two burgers with fries drinks alongside the freebies. We took away the order as we were pushed for time. We found out when we got home that the apple pie and both sets of fries were missing. Staff in the restaurant were not rushed off their feet at the time, nor was the restaurant busy. Poor service this time. Have never had this problem before and have visited many times. Staff need to double check orders before giving out to customers.

Maybe I'm biased because I have nothing but good memories of this place on my way to Scotland but I swear you will not find another McDonald's where the breakfast eggs look and feel like real eggs. The breakfast items have a certain freshness that you don't get down south, not to mention the cleanliness, It is absolutely spotless from the car park to the toilets. I've seen people here claim that staff are rude and get your order wrong, not my experience(s) at all, I've always been greeted with a smile and always got my order correctly, quickly, perfectly.

Ordered a PLAIN mcflurry with TOFFEE SAUCE and they give me a OREO mcflurry with TOFFEE SAUCE!!! Very dissapointed! Wont be returning anytime soon

Bought a big mac meal and a chicken/bacon wrap and fries tonight, from the drive thru. Very disappointed food was lukewarm. Only thing that was hottish was the cup of tea.

Waited a lengthy time at the window,we were then given a wrong order, we then got told by a snappy member of staff called Neve to go to a bay, when food arrived no drinks. We left without due to the fact of not wanting to eat a cold meal. Very bad customer service.

Meal was a standard Mcdonalds meal served quickly at reasonable price. However, I had young kids with me and they were intimidated by a group of around 15 youths sat at tables together not one person had an item of food and several had cans of energy drink purchased off the premises. They were being very loud sitting with their feet up on the tables and the staff kept walking by not addressing the problem it was my impression only food and drink purchased on the premises could be consumed on the premises??

Always gets orders wrong and one lady was very rude and impolite, once spent 20 mins at drive through

Visited the drive through today, sat for 5 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, eventually went to pick up window where a rude manager told us to drive back around and place our order, when I explained we had been waiting for someone to take our order for 5 minutes he said we were wrong and the machines are working fine, he was not interested in what we had to say just tried to fob us off, we left without any food

This is only an average McDonald's. The floor round our table had several items of food on it, while the bacon in my chicken and bacon burger overhung the edges and was cold and undercooked. The children enjoyed their chicken nuggets, but my wife was unimpressed. The ice cream and coffee were good. Not the best Mac's by a long way.

It's Macdonald's so it's what you're used to but it is clean and friendly. A little noisy in the car park as it is next to A1

This is the first time I have seen table service in a McDonald's.

We wanted a quick snack after a lovely evening at Alnwick Gardens and McDonalds was next to where we were staying. I really like being able to use the touch screen to order my meal and was surprised with the option to pick a seating area and have the tray brought over. My only gripe was perhaps user error. I only got one pot of sweet curry sauce for my 6 chicken mcnuggets. Happy to pay 14p sugar tax for classic coke so that I dont have to have artificial sweetner

I did arrive just before breakfast was finishing, however only 2 items were left, which if breakfast is served to a certain time then it should be the full breakfast range and not just what is left. Plus I waited behind people waiting and did not realise they were waiting for food and I was ignored for a good 10 minutes

Big Mac no cheese came with cheese.second one was warm but excellent staff sorted it out. This was a busy little place. But nice and clean with pleasant staff

Called here for breakfast as in a hurry! They got the order wrong after waiting over 10 minutes and they werent busy then to put order right son no1 waited son no2 took his place then I had to speak to assistant this is not the first time this has happened in the restaurant and drivethru.Annoying as both my sons due at work and should have been able to get quick breakfast as we were out very early shopping

I live nearby and use it regularly, but almost every time we use the take away they get the order wrong. Usually the fries are missing and not worth going back for. Very slow as well if there is a big order. Even for McDonalds it’s poor.

Had to spend over three hours here waiting on my coach (traveled to and from McDonald’s and the coach/bus station via taxi) as it’s the only place open late (24hrs) in the area besides pubs. Several people filtered in and out but it never got busy so the employees didn’t seem to mind me sticking around since I had bought some food. The sitting area and toilets were very clean. Perfectly excellent McDonald’s location.

Only used the drive through but Every time I have they've got the order wrong, always stuff missing, wrong sizes (smaller) and a few times the stuff has been under/ over cooked or not made properly!!! And their attitude when you take stuff back is terrible, you Never get an apology and they throw the replacement food at you!!! Last time I went they were vile and so was the food so I will not be going back!!!

Visited restaurant and, as busy, used new automated ordering screen Very easy to follow and food arrived promptly. Chicken Selects were one of the best I have had at any restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly, service with a smile.

What is there to say it is just as average as any other McDonalds across the country no better no worse. Kids seem to love the experience but pretty average.

Visited here with my young family and ordered at the self service. We then waited 20 mins for food to come. In between waiting we'd asked two members of staff if they could help us track our food as the self service print had ran out of paper when we paid so we didn't have a receipt (husband had told a member of staff at the time of placing order about the paper). Restaurant was cold and tables needed wiping, which I did myself in the end. Overall not a good experience . When food finally arrived parts of the order were missing and we were refunded for items rather than wait any longer. Normally don't have an issue with other mc Donald's

Wrong order upon numerous occasions isn't really a 'fast food' place staff are very ill mannered do not recommend

Its lovely and clean out and in, food comes quickly but 4 times I have gone to the drive through and every time something has been wrong in my order! Come on Maccy Ds. Its pretty easy if you listen. Staff are friendly but something is just messing up the system and its a bit annoying. Check your order guys before you drive off

It's a fast food restaurant, like any other McDonalds. The location is just accross the BP filling station. After filling the car we had McFLURRY. Good and quick service. It's open 24 hours

Very good service and resturant was spotless and food was piping hot only critique was my wee girls wrap has way to much sauce on it but thats a personal taste all in all good experience

MacDonalds is never going to be fine dining but it is normally reliable and quick. This branch is neither. Chaotic even when there's only a couple of customers.

I have marked it poor, purely on the basis of the service. The food is standard McDonalds.

A shambles when we visited a few days ago not enough staff taking orders and when we did receive it it was wrong!we enjoy coming here but its not the first time mistakes have been made.

The place was buzzing, busy with children of all ages with friends, parents and grandparents. So easy to order meals on their slick computerised ordering system. The food was served quickly and was of the normal good McDonald's taste and quality.

We popped in last Saturday night at the end of a long day looking for a quick meal. The service and food were both just what we needed.
