Ordered a large hot chocolate. I took the lid off to let it cool and found this....basically coloured water...this branch of Macdonalds needs new managrment and staff need training !!! AVOID

My granddaughter works there so go and pick her up when she is on a late shift so handy to get something to eat while I'm there.

Absolutely shocking, by far the worst macdonalds I’ve been to. How can you miss an entire meal off an order? My daughter has had to wait another hour for them to deliver her meal again on more than one occasion. I’ve left feedback, rang up the restaurant and even had the receipt showing the items on that were missing and they did nothing to rectify their mistake. And PLEASE don’t make the mistake of having anything delivered from them. They’ve delivered empty cups where all the drink has spilled out, there is always stuff wrong with the order, the food is always cold, condiments always missing, fries half full… it’s like a gamble ordering from them.

Service has declined since re-opening, I know it's hard to believe as not good before but worse now. Very, very slow at drive through. Even though all I want is a coffee, the wait between ordering and getting your item is ridiculous, you sit ages getting to the collection window no one seems to get parked up, you can see your coffee but you can't get to it due to people in front of you. When you finally get it it has sat there a while. All you can see through the window is people setting up delivery orders. Going inside is worse. Service desperately needs looking at, don't know what has changed but it's not working. Managers, get organised and get the children who work there some traing on how to move a bit faster whilst getting order right. I know it's may be hard for them to multi task, but customers will be lost.

Again got order wrong the manager needs a good look at there self kids cheese burger meal ended up with nuggets shocking a revamp may look good but if staff are rubbish makes no difference same old same old ....manager what kind of ship are you running ....

Work odd hours and it says open 24 hours- it isn’t . Often have to sit and wait for 30 mins as all staff take break at same time closing the restaurant. No set times . It’s not open 24 hours.

Worst customer service. We haven’t gone back to this place since last October. As soon as we got there, it started storming and it caused part of the ceiling to collapse. We took a photo to ask a family member to pick us up as we didn’t have umbrellas with us and it seemed impossible to walk home. Then this plump female staff, possibly a manager misunderstood that we were taking a video on TikTok or something, approached us and condescendingly/aggressively told us not to take a video saying stuff like “do you need to do that?”. We just ignored her the first time but she harassed us again when I pointed the phone towards the flooding ceiling(I wasn’t taking a photo or anything), and my friend eventually got into a fight with her. What a Karen.

Closed for refurbishment, but their website says Open . Kids were disappointed after driving there for a birthday treat.

Average mcdonalds, i had alright customer service when the machines werent working

I have a service dog and was approached by a shift manager saying no dog allowed I explained she is as service dog was asked for proof which on her harness is clearly states service dog by the disability act 2010 she isn't allowed to question me. Then as I was leaving another staff member shouted across to me saying dogs aren't allowed again this was upsetting for me I said she is a service dog she apologised but not before causing me stress. Please retrain staff as this behaviour isn't acceptable and against my rights 😔

Long wait due to online delivery men getting served. Food cold by the time we got home - 5 min drive

Absolutely horrendous service here these days. So many times missing items. Slow service whether in store, drive through or McDelivery. Wouldn’t mind as much waiting but the food is always cold too.

Went for quarter pounder meal at around 2215 on sat night waiting for order full of young staff messing around dropped my order on floor before serving me had to replace the chips as they noticed I had seen them drop it parked up eat the chips then opened the sandwich to be met with two burgers full of grease not anyway near what's supposed to be McDonald's standards

Had to wait in parking bay. ok. Wen got home....no fries😡it's bad enough paying 1.69 for a tiny little bag of anaemic fries but wen u don't even get them. 😡

Had food delivered this afternoon which cost approximately £17.50, complained as everything was cold and was refunded £3.51. So wasted all that money that wasn’t refunded on food that went straight in the bin. Never again 😡😡

Slow service, took ages to get food when sitting inside as they now seem to prioritise food delivery services at all Maccy D's.

the customer service at this establishment is nothing short of abysmal, a young man served me called harry. He ensured me that my big mac would be scrumptious with plenty big mac sauce, instead i got a pile of lettuce tomatoes and meat. Harry i am furious, i will be writing to the local council

Ordered the big stack with bacon no bacon on it had to send back no ice cube in my coke

for the price you pay you think theyd at least do their job properly and even put the sauce in that you’ve paid for. Mcdonald’s blyth is in absolute shambles, even more so than the NHS. Get a grip.

There are NEVER any caramel frappes on in this store or something else is out of stock. We never get to the drive thru without having to choose something else or leave disappointed they don't have anything one of us wanted. It's not just a one off. They may aswell take them off the menu at this store 👍 Not the best when we can pop next door to starbucks and give them our custom EVERYDAY instead

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to sat waiting 45 minutes for two burgers and drinks and it was quiet loads of people came after us and left well before we did what a joke this place is

Absolutely awful. Ordered food for delivery. Waited 2 hours and some items were missing. The burgers were stone cold and soaked in sauce, the chicken selects and fries were really soggy and the pop was flat and warm. For the ridiculous price we just paid I have to say it really isn't worth it. Appauling quality and poor service.

With some branches we've visited the burgers look like they've been through a steam roller and they are always luke warm. Sometimes the fries are cold too and I can't stand cold chips/fries. Yesterday we decided to have a bite in here as we had a concert in Gateshead and didn't have long before we needed to leave. I had the McSpicy and hubby had a double quarter pounder with cheese. We both had fries. The burgers looked like burgers and weren't like pancakes. The fries were lovely and hot. We really enjoyed it. The negatives are that we used the self service screen as the counter was so busy with just eat, Uber etc. It didn't give us a number or receipt so I had to go to the counter anyway. It seemed to be pandemonium behind the counter but the guy I spoke to was very pleasant. No one came out to look at the self service machine and it kept happening. The delivery drivers all congregate and clog up the counter. I would return and the branch has restored my faith in getting a good burger and fries quickly and one that's edible. Thanks 👍🏻

Not much to say really. It's McDonald's. As with all McDonald's venues now they prioritise serving and accommodating delivery drivers. The food was hot, well cooked and did the job. The car park is a nightmare here however. We ended up having to park across the road.

Avoid. Sat in drive through for 20 mins. Left. Shocking service. This isnt the first time this has happened. This is the only branch in our area where this happens. Fast food..this is not. Waited 15 minutes in bay for porridge. Porridge!

Visited today with my granddaughter, a young girl called Jess made her experience so joyful bringing flags for her and her teddy and taking time to talk to her such a lovely girl

Ordered through the mcdonalds app, missing parts off order, took to restaurant to rectify, how that mess of a women is In charge of that is beyond me, looked a burst sofa come on its the morning looked like she just rolled in off the session, queried the order and was told it was an uber problem? Even though uber carried out there given instructions? Come on its not that hard to read a receipt and put all items in a bag or is that too much to ask? Used to be a good restaurant this aswell, have spoken to customer services and area manager to rectify this absolutely terrible experience, overall the staff need trained the manager needs trained or better still replaced, even the thought of that women cooking food is repulsive

Often get orders wrong, often don't get my chicken grilled in my wrap when I order it grilled and coffee needs to be checked as a large white coffee can be lacking the milk, cup half full, served a medium and no one serving seems to notice before putting the lid on that liquid is black or no where near the top. I think training on concentrating on what they are doing is needed.

Absolutely fuming. Ordered for delivery for them to just deliver my drink from my meal. They wouldn’t send the rest and only refunded me £3 of my £6 meal. So basically paid £3 for a hot drink. McDonald’s staff just fobbed me off with a phone number to ring uber and uber said to do a review at the end of the phone call if I had an issue. Got no food and been taken for a mug. So so unhappy.

Spent £35 in mc Donald's yesterday in blyth uber supposed to deliver to k &k tyres blyth still waiting for my order now. Take 15-20 fay to reimburse my money taking the piss much wasn't a small order either 😒 think the driver needs Google maps only go down Cowpen road and Hodgsons road and your on regent Street tell me how it's so hard to find . About time you found some local drivers. Absolutely disgrace

Definitely improved in the last 12 months. Still need better processes to ensure the correct items are placed in the bag for each order - especially the correct sauces for each item. Other than that it's great

Both times I've ordered from here something has been wrong and the burger looks like it's been thrown together and really messy. Wish I could order from Ashington but the app won't let me.

It doesn't matter what time of day or hour you go to this mcdonalds your order will be wrong evey god damn time. Since it opened I havent had a single correct order its beyond a joke utterly fed up and will longer be visiting would rather take a longer journey to lakeside where your order is always right and the customer service is better. The only upside to blyth is your food will be hot but by the time you've got the correct order it's cold as they are so slow at rectifying it. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Food is always on point at any McDonald's really. now the service at Blyth McDonald's let's talk about that, the uber eats has ruined the experience of eating in the restaurant, you order your food and are waiting ridiculous times because the 20 uber drivers must be served first for some reason? The workers done all the lesser orders that were behind mine just because they feel like they have achieved more but over look and forget my order, when they were finally doing mine he almost dropped all my food on the floor I just thought typical I've waited 30mins for an in restaurant experience just for this guy to spill my food and sit for an hour. Terrible experience in the Blyth restaurant and it gets worse everytime I go. Atmosphere. . . Its changed for the worse, its mainly a depot now for uber to collect meals, more drivers sitting at the table than people eating. Excuse my bad writing, I'm ticked off abit

Customers are made to wait while they sort deliveroo its a joke. My partner cant eat lettuce but everytime we go to blyth there is traces of it in the box with the burger. If you have food allergies DO NOT go to this mcdonald's. Chips are always large batch cook and left tp cool down leaving them soggy and greasy. This store needs head office to step in and train a proper team instead of letting your customers deal with the crap food and bad services

Good place to eat for brokies, I just went to use the toilet and it was very crowded lol

So went into to order due to both meals wanting plain I went to counter staff just staring at me no one asking do you want to be served. I was watching a member of staff drop chips over counter who picked them up and to say shoving them back in the box after they have rolled over counter, then called my number he was little shocked when I asked him to change fries as I saw what he did little red faced he went. Just got home and only one meal was plain. Maybe if the youth club manner stopped they would get things right. Also to the manager I would be disgusted if my floor inside the kitchen area looked like yours and you were serving food obviously your standards aren't to what I thought mcdonalds were , the fact that the customer walkway floor was cleaner. Tried calling to talk bit after 6 attempts of ring outs I thought I would leave you a review

most incompetent staff ive ever seen/heard off ordered twice because they missed my main meal and forgot to put it in then ordered again and they didnt put it in the bag once again do not order from here they care so little about how bad they mess up no refund issued either

Spend £40 on an order today for my family and when we got home from the drive through there was no fries to go with any of ours orders!

Very small carpark, obviously short of staff. We couldn't wait in the food delivery bay as they were full Lad wandering around carpark looking for us. Food was cold by the time we received it

Seriously, you need to CHECK the orders before you send them out!! We just ordered and yet again the big tasty meal is missing! 3rd time now, we won't be ordering again. Its very simple. You look in the bag, go through the list and say "oh yes, it's all in, or nope, missing this item." It's not rocket science

Food either takes too long, card machine breaks down, power cuts out. Food is stale and inedible, McMuffin had green mold on bottom, always running out of certain foods, would never expect this from a service station

Breakfast was good as usual in this branch, however when leaving and emptying our tray was surprised to see the amount of small flies around the recycling bin... Hopefully this will be addressed

McDonald's used to be great a few year back you were in and out and full within 15 mins all the delivery people are served before you now even if you were first and it's now a case of waiting atleast 10 to 20 mins for your food which is always pretty much cold now. Also they have someone making drinks milkshakes and mcflurry at all times to get ahead so they sit on a counter melting away so you never get a freshly made drink or mcflurry now

Only gave a 1 star as did not have an option for 0!!! Avoid at all costs, better to spend your time and money at the KFC right next door. All the years I've visited McDonalds, I have never came across such a disorganised poorly managed, poor customer experience business!!! Visited as my daughter wanted a drink on her long journey home, to quickly discover they had absolutely no drinks that she could drink! No water, no orange juice, no milk or milk shakes, A staff member offered a fizzy as thats all that was available then questioned if I was serious when I declined!!! Health needs of my daughter, and the fact they thought this was an appropriate alternative...shambles of an establishment when you have nothing to offer! Wouldn't waste my time stopping off there again.

Nearly every time I go to the drive through or order at the machine inside the restaurant the order is short, it is usually a biggish order, so having to rummage through the bag is a pain., although I have done in the past, surely the management must know by the amount of stock that is left that there is something seriously wrong. Please try and get your act together

I enjoyed the food. Tables and seats were clean, a good atmosphere during late afternoon. There were lots of delivery people waiting to get food to deliver. No complaints. Thank you

Ordered a big tasty spicy which looked nice on the photograph. When I opened it there was only lettuce and sauce on the largely tasteless burger. According to the menu it should have had tomato, jalapeños and cheese on it. Extremely disappointed.

After waiting 20 minutes in a queue to get to the collection point to be asked what my order is again, then still it’s wrong when I get home. Ordered double sausage and egg McMuffin and got bacon and no hash browns with any meal. Won’t be visiting again.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Everytime I go, they mess up. This time, they messed up my order, made me wait 25 minutes (since ordering) for my food in bay order parking.. then after waiting 25 minutes I get old crusty burgers that have been there for hours... How couldn't you give me it at the window if it's old and crusty? If you make people wait for food, we expect it to be freshly made. The staff are thick, not very good at customer service and don't give a poop. Worst McDonald's in the UK surely?

My mother ordered me and my 2 other siblings a big Mac, medium chips and a fruit juice with a chocolate milk shake and an oasis, however when this was delivered we where given on emayo chicken burger and a double burger. Obviously outraged my mother went to the mcdonalds asking for a refund as she spent £30 on food she didn't order. The worker refused to give my mum a refund. Please can u at least try to get an order right u idiots it can't be that hard xx

Was kept waiting at the drive thru while staff messed about, no communication on the fact I would have to wait at the window for a good 15 minutes, then to be just handed my food with no apology. More training needed.

Was ok, not great, the bogs were filthy and the lock broken to the cubicle. Was a bit of a wait for our order and also despite it being around 10pm and the place not really that busy.

McD's, Blyth opening day today May 4th 2023. Well worth the wait, have watched the construction over the months...It's a great place well thought out, easy access. Inside is not dissapointing either, well run staff super organised and friendly.. Decent food ok, hands up I prefer McD to other Fast Food outlets, you know where you are with McD..Well worth a visit I strongly reccomend you visit soon I will, no more trudging into Town for me...

Food was fine, chips where a bit cold and the play area was closed but was lovely and clean and staff where friendly.

Everytime i order a delivery from here they very consistently always forget something. Im beginning to think its like a personal vendetta against me. I never phone and complain because i know they wont rectify there mistake and they just blame the delivery service when its them that dont put the item into the sealed bags.
