McDonalds in Wakefield

Always missing items from online orders, usually vegetarian burgers and dips, is it so difficult to check an order before sending it out?! Milkshakes and McFlurries are hardly ever available.

No McFlurry, no milkshakes, no garlic dip, no sour cream dip. No smile, no thank you, no courtesy, no reason to visit here again. Very poor.

Rubbish McDonald’s milkshake machine never working, always tell you to park up, always miss half your order, food thrown together and Uber and just eat drivers are rude and take up all the parking, and are given priority

My first experience of the new brioche bun, and it was dry and tasteless to say the least. If this is the future of McDonald's, then it is going to be my past. Awful.

Used the app, went to drive through as directed then they proceeded to serve the other side (3 other people) and ignore my existence. Eventually drove through and informed them their intercom was broken to be told it isn't, just the other person is also on milkshakes. Not even an apology. Then gave them my code and has to pull up and wait for my order with a screaming toddler because by this point she is so frustrated.

I’ve complained time after time about short coffee measures, to McDonalds customer services. Rubbish quality food but tonight is the straw that broke the camels back! Got home with our food, half, yes half a cup of large latte. Were they so busy they couldn’t wait for the fill to end? Nope only 3 cars in the drive through, food here gets worse and worse, give it a miss. I’m never going back, except for my refund.

I left a 1 star review on Saturday on the j ust eat platform. For a online delivery we received that was someone else's. Whilst we had to drive back to the restaurant to return😖. Matter resolved quickly. Apologies all round very nice young lady my husband dealt with and extra flat breads given free of charge much appreciated. Food was lovely and hot. Well redeemed.

Wasn't allowed to brush my hair, however a member of staff was openly telling customers about the boxers covered in poo that she found in the toilets. Very off-putting.

Ordered breakfast took over an hour to come. Ordered a bacon roll with ketchup came without ketchup. It was disgusting and cold with no way to complain to Mcdonalds!

Every time I order for delivery they get the order wrong, I don’t know why I bother trying. Always a disappointment. Blames having new staff but it happens continuously.

Long queues as expected at a busy restaurant, lack of parking has become an issue on busy days. Food was freshly prepared due to the fact it was busy although we didn’t have to wait long for the order to be completed. We ordered on menu so got it straightaway, the bins were overflowing on our arrival but were emptied while we sat and ate. No complaints from us, great service, hot food, good venue.

Ordered via the McDonalds app. Food was delivered by Uber Eats. It took over an hour to arrive, when it arrived some of the order was missing and the food was cold. Tried to microwave it but friest and nuggetss aren't good reheated. The McFlurries and Milkshakes are never available. We tried Burger King for a change this week and everything arrived in 15 mins, piping hot and no missing items! McDonalds... shame on you! If you try to complain you get nowhere as McDonalds refer you to Uber Eats and Uber Eats refer you back to McDonalds. Don't waste your money, if you must have a Maccies go through the drive through and if you want a milkshake or McFlurry prepare to be disappointed!

Probably the worst mcdonalds experience ever. Food was cold,half the fries was black. The latte was ok but the expresso was luke warm at best. I have no issues with the staff having a laugh and a bit of banter but was there any need for swearing.

Used the mymcdonald app to order food as we were isolating due to Covid and had our online groceries delayed. Food, via Uber eats who McDonald’s use in their own app, arrived 20 mins later than it’s latest time. Food was flat cold, ice creams were melted. Driver couldn’t get away quick enough. Recent visits to the restaurant itself have been terrible too. Made an order at booth, number showed on screen. Then number disappeared so I asked why and they told me it was because it was just ready to be called. 20 mins later still no food and lots of subsequent orders being delivered. After raising again it was then ready, however McFlurry was runny as it had been made before anything else and had been sat. Raised complaint with McDonalds who place the blame on Uber Eats. Raised with Uber Eats who said they couldn’t help because of an app issue with McDonald’s. So completely ruined tea, no refund. Never again. McDonald’s Pontefract just don’t seem to value their customers and take them For granted.

The staff member Sara was so helpful. Incredible service and met all expectations. So polite and incredibly hard working as we saw while eating here.

Poor poor dirty dirty To start had to clean my own table, another followed me in 5 mins after she had to ask for table to be cleaned. Food was served on reasonable time, though there had been delivery drivers waiting when I got there, I left about 50/55 mins after my arrival the delivery drivers still waiting. Upon leaving g busted toilet they had clearly not been cleaned for sometime, also on leaving looked behind counter, and food prep area, looked like bomb had gone of and clearly no one was taking control of the situation, more bath weed about taking money then food hygiene, health safety of customer and staff, there was plenty of trip/slip hazards. Confronted assistant manager, he had a could care less attitude, blaming short staff, well the restaurant should have been closed and deep clean looking at the state of it!!!!!!!!!!

Waste of money. Runny milkshakes & icecreams, chocolate shake tasted of banana. Not busy but still waited ages. Not hot today, why was everything half melted? Won't be back, not the first time its been rubbish.

Ordered from here on Uber eats, ordered 2 meals and 2 sides and they missed out BOTH meals (2 chicken legends , 2 fries , 2 drinks) and only delivered sides. Tried ringing up and Couldnt get through. Terrible service and not the first time this Mcdonalds has missed big items out! Sort it out

they made me wait 2 hours and then cancelled the order on Uber eats. not even an explanation. But expect they ran out of bread again, yes a burger place that runs out of burger buns, laughable.

As an exempt person. I was refused to be served as well as called D..k head :( Restaurant management needs to improve their anger management skills. An official complaint was filed, with the company and the local Police.

Not received half my order, Missing fries and dips, paid for all and missing those, would like refund for those items. Will not eat from here again.

Completely wrong order received.manager very rude and patronising. No customer service skills whatsoever. Make sure you check your order before you leave. Ordered the grand big macs only got the tiny big macs disappointing

So the missus and kids had left me to fend for myself and gone out shopping.I could either cook something or ‘eat out’ so being male and therefore seeking the easier option I chose Maccies.Firstly, it was lunch so mega busy and the queue for the drive through was mahoosive so that was out. After one full lap I slotted into a parking space and headed on in.Love the screens to order your food as it suits my anti social nature and well, it’s just easier. Eating in and keyed my number in and found a table.These places are pretty frantic, noisy and a great place to learn poor parenting techniques but my food order arrived quickly.It was all correctly executed with the dreaded pickles removed (who actually eats those??) and I enjoyed it thoroughly.Why the average rating? Because that’s what it was. Maccies is quickish and easyish but they’re also noisy and attract certain types of people. That’s why I visit! :-)

Food was fine, a little on the slow side but certainly hot enough and exactly as ordered. Very abrupt and have no manners whatsoever, not a please or a thank you, and despite saying I would take it with me they served it on a tray but, again, no apology for the error.
