McDonald's in Newark and Sherwood

Where is the rest of the burger bun. They’ve definitely shrunk and are thinner too. They don’t fit the burger which slips out. I’m sure these are buns for the kid’s meals. This is not just related to Ollerton either. Not great to be honest.

11pm 25/02 ordered a 5 select meal large and mozzarella dippers. Spent 10 minutes waiting before 11:10 being told that Selects were just being cooked, food arrived around 11:15. Wouldn't have minded but could hear staff screaming and messing about in the back making "meme" noises. 11:20 tooked into food - fries luke warm, dippers cold, selects alright but pulled too early (chewy). Fries unsalted so had to put this on. In total 30 minute experience which appreciate later at night but there were max 2 order on front and w cars in drive thru at the time. On the + side the manager seemed nice enough (forgot dips off my order though so clearly wasn't checking the screens) but seemed apologetic enough, and the lass who got them me seemed sound, and brought it over which was nice. I wish I could give more than 2 stars, but it is a true reflection of a sub par experience at a very average fast food restaurant

Food for family of 4 came out with 80% of it cold. Asked for it be replaced, 80% of the replaced food was cold and was delivered with no apology. Manager brought the next attempt - fries ok but burgers still like warm at best. Manager offered to ‘microwave’ if I wasn’t happy and told me that everything had been brought out as soon as it had been cooked. Told her not to bother. My son then bit in to his 3rd attempt burger only to find it wasn’t plain (all burgers ordered were plain) I went back to the counter and asked to see the manager, meantime another 2 gents were asking for their fries to replaced with warm ones. In addition, recent refurb not complete, would suggest turning the space behind the chipboard in to a training room for customer service and maybe a lesson on turning up the heat when cooking burgers or delivering them to table more quickly.

Cold chips are the worse, you want the salty hit and then sugar from the Coke :(

Really nice worker Rosie she was really funny a really nice person to talk to and a great person in general

Nice referbishment but I miss the welcoming coulours now it’s just bland and modern service wasn’t that great some of the workers were not really welcoming and the toilets weren’t very well stocked or cleaned but overall nice food with a lot of selection nice drinks

We went to mcdonalds and ordered x2 philly cheese stack they was stone cold one wanted no pickles and the other one with pickles i opened the burger up and only saw x2 crispy onions amd few onions no pickles, x2 large frys they was stone cold, x1 large oasis the taste was awful, tasted too watery no flavour, the raspberry and white chocolate pie was the only nice food iteam to eat everything we ordered was cold and the lady behind the counter took ages to get all food together and then asked x2 what sauces was they agian, terrible food from mcdonalds very disappointed and waste of money. Never coming back I'd rather chuck money down the road robbing gits

Just a quick nightime drive home drink, window 1 really friendly, window 2 chatting to one another and didn't even acknowledge me

Just collected our app order. The girl on the drive thru speaker was very blunt then when we collected our food from the window she was chewing gum. I think this is disgusting especially in the hospitality/fast food industry.

We sat outside because we had dog nice young man brought how meal and iced water for little scooter

Since the refit service is very slow every time I go.. one time I waited 15 mins for a mcflurry. Friendly staff but awful turnaround times Update... since this post, there has never been a time where my order has been right. Always sending you to the next window or bay to wait and with the extra time you would think the staff would take more care getting an order ready.

i must be lucky looking at reviews. i have never had serious problems at this mcdonalds. food may not be very hot, but if you are not happy tell them.if they are busy like other places you may wait a while.

Went through the drive-through one Tuesday. Staff were v friendly and helpful.

I ordered from McDonald's at new Ollerton on 04/11/24, I was waiting for the order to be delivered for one hour and fifteen minutes, and when it came at the end had a missing item, I phoned McDonald's at new Ollerton roundabout to tell them about the missing order, I was shocked to hear from the manager that I should take it out with the delivery driver, how can I blame the delivery driver while the bag was sealed with a white sticker, so I just put the phone down, and took it as a loss, adding to that, food arrived was stoned cold, but never mind, I will never order any food from McDonald's at New Ollerton roundabout, I won't recommend it to anyone as far as the delivery service concern, please don't waste your hard earned money, not worth, and you will still be starving, try other takeaways, or even better cook your own food, at least nothing will be missing, and clean.

Honestly, I wasn't too fond of the food, I had a big mac meal and I feel like back in the their big macs were amazing, but now a days they just don't have "that" taste any more

Chicken selects were great - just anything but fast food

Fast service, not busy during visit, but it was 12AM! Friendly service as always and clean tables. Only criticism being that the Cheese burgers were warm but not hot by any means, hence 4⭐️ for food . On a positive note, cheese bites and mcflurry were 👌.

Slow on the drive thru only appeared that 1 of the order points was taking orders. Sat in the carpark to eat our order one of the items was incorrect drove back through the drive thru again the burger was replaced but still incorrect so just left. Food not hot slightly warm at best. Quality and attention to detail just not upto standard.

Not bad windows could do with a clean the flys in the botton of windows were you sit

We use the drive through regular , as we don’t eat inside I can only give a review on the staff serving us, they seem very nice especially Bec she always looks smart and very cheerful and a pleasure to be served by her 👌

We often pop in when we’re passing in the car on a journey to relatives in Nottingham. We just had a drink this time. Great place to stop for a rest, plenty of parking.

Typical McDonald's. OK food, fairly slow service but clean & tidy.

Terrible delivery service here constantly missing items and today missed a complete meal and do nothing to rectify the issue , Giving a code and telling you to come pick it up dose not get my son his missing breakfast we order for delivery because we can't get to store to pick up , Staff rude and put down the phone when trying to complain Not a good experience

Don’t bother calling in the morning especially walk in. All they do is concentrate on Drive through.

It sells luke warm ultra processed food. Not sure how you realistically rate the food any higher than one star. It is what it is.

Absolute terribly ran told me my order wasn't paid for soon even though it was and was being called a liar soon as I asked for a manager and the manager come to the window my order was cancelled mcdonalds are going down the carsy now prioritising uber eat and just eat instead of customers

We placed an £80 order which was absolutely spot on, most drive throughs get small orders wrong so these guys did a great job. Piping hot too, Bramley McDonalds could learn a lot from these guys.

On drive through 4 cars got ordered before me, not too happy after a 14 hour shift. Hopefully better next time!

Very modern in comparison to most others and friendly helpful staff. Never been asked halfway through the meal if everything is okay at McDonald’s before until here 😂

Came here yesterday at rush hour with the family and went in to see that business was definitely booming it did take a while to get our food but I had a lovely fruity grimace shake and we got some overcooked chips and the lad at the till gave us some freshly new cooked ones for free and let us keep the old ones which were actually quite nice happy birthday grimace and I will recommend this to all the alphas around

Spent £52 n two hours later I rang em cuz my food still hadn't arrived, they told me that they had no deliverers... Wondering why they even let me place my order in the first place.

Asked for fresh food got a cold hash brown breakfast double sausage and egg was hot

Only got a small mcflurry and waited abt 20 mins but not too bad

3 for £3 makes it affordable again when you're a family. This particular one gets slammed on Facebook, however I feel the staff are great, always working under pressure etc

I was visiting my brother and travelling from Kent. My mobile had died and I had no way of knowing how to get to my brother’s house. I stopped here for a comfort break and to recharge my phone. I met an employee called Sara who went over and above to help me. She organised a table where I could charge my phone and waited by my phone while I ordered. She then went over to collect my order. Thank you Sara…you made what could have been a really stressful situation into a very relaxing experience. 😊

The best service I’ve ever experienced, I’ve been here once before and it wasn’t too bad but today it was perfect! Great service with smiley staff who were happy to help, even saw one help an old couple sort out their app! 10/10 would recommend and come again.

Maybe it's a British thing to only have a drop of ketchup and half a slice of cheese on the burger...but where I'm from we actually have more than the bread and the meat on our burgers...so not enjoyable burgers here, too dry and too little of the other stuff that should be on, sauce,cheese and lettuce, onions etc

Only ordered 2 large fries had to repeat order 3 times and still got it wrong only got 1 large fries, not good enough.

Drive though is busy but quickly served.

Went for a cold drink (caramel iced frappe) and took 3 year old for food and drink. Staff were pleasant and food tasted good for my child. They had ice-cream which was enjoyed.

Used self service. Staff friendly and the place clean.

The Mcflurry was good but my diabetic friend was given a normal coke after he'd asked for a diet coke - result - he became unwell

On this visit the food was nice and hot which sometimes it isn't. The staff were lovely.

Drive through. Unspectacular experience....just as I wanted.

Top tier. Class. 10/10. scran. Food was bloody gorgeous. Lady who gave us the food was a top tier human being. You know I had to hook myself up with the large fries and six chicken nugs. Why ever done at a fancy restaurant when you can just go here? You even gave me a free coke. You can sod off looking at the other side of the card. YOU AIN'T HAVIN' MY DRINK. Lord, I was so hungry, thank you.

Poor service. 9 June 24 @ 4.50am. They spent 20min cooking a McCrisp and it was burnt on the bread and hardly any filling. The staff were unhelpful. The place was unclean too.

kids enjoy the walk up not sure about the food but they enjoy the walk

Andys (shift manager) customer service was terrible, I asked for more topping on our mcflurries and he added more, but slammed them in front of me and stormed off

Friendly staff, food looked nothing like I ordered, food was cold and I ended up taking food back 4 times. The chicken burger honestly looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen. I always like to go to the Ollerton macdonalds because my granddaughter loves it there.paid for sauces we never received. I will normally give good feedback but today I felt like I'd totally wasted my money.

Good food but took nearly 20 minutes to prepare a Big Mac and salad.

Same old. Foods always cold, service is slow, and staff expect everyone to use self service.

The drive through is never a drive through. You’re always asked to sit in the car park and wait at least 5-10 minutes before they walk slowly to the car with your cold food.

The food was cold and the guy dint ask me if I wanted a lager meal or anything so I was going to ask if I can a refund or something beasuce im not very happy

Rude staff, damage salad old and soft with brown spots , my order was not complete chicken salad without chicken, i think the management should be reviewed as allowing this, probably changed

Oh it's definitely fast food....the poor guys must have loads of customers because as soon as you get there, you feel like you are been rushed through....and that's the point, once upon a time....everyone in cafe's knew everyone, these days it's rush rush rush and nobody knows anyone.....personally the food isn't what it's made out to be....it doesn't look like the picture either....flatburger is a more fitting description....and finally....is it just me, but it doesn't matter what you have from there because you simply do not feel full.....this is my opinion, you guys make your own

Well located on the way and back from clumber park to Nottingham. Drivethrough was very fast, friendly staff and as always prices affordable. Lots of parking, clean place overall.

Shocking!! Can ever ever get the order right!! Having two kids under 4 and there fruit shoots not turning up, you can imagine how annoyed they’d be.. there is always something missing when it comes to delivering our food! Simple instructions they clearly can’t do!

Aweful, bland, dry burgers. 2x quarter pound luke warm cheese burgers almost £10.00.

The guy never heard of the deal sausage and egg MC muffin then finally said o ye we can do it for you.went t window but never opened it so went to next window to B told I need to go bk to other window Totally incomplete place never again manager looked shifty as hell bad place

Service was helpful and friendly and loos were clean. Food turned up quickly but was only acceptable quality, like warm and fries undercooked. Restaurant was clean and tidy and parking good

I tried to go here on the way but was so but couldn't get parked. On the way back took ages to get my food I stopped in a lay by up the road to eat as couldn't get parked again.

Food is never hot, and these days are expensive for what you get

Food was cold fries missing from the meal. The chicken mayo was out of time cold, and like rubber, the double was disgusting chewy and dry. The girl on the window was polite and lovley a shame the food let you down!

It's a typical Micky D's food ok coffee not too bad, seats very uncomfortable. My only real complaint was the toilets were not very clean.

The service was terrible here, I arrived at 23.40 so the place was dead with one car in front of me and none behind. I ordered 2 meals and a drink and was told to park in a bay. I said can I not just stay here and I'll go if someone moves - no was the response and then two other managers came over trying to intimidate me into moving. I got a refund for the drink and waited for the food as my girls needed it after going to a concert. Never again will I go to this McDs and you should avoid it like the plague, as my daughter said, next time we'll go to KFC at Blyth!
