McDonald's in Allerdale

very very slow service waited 10 minutes before girl even took my order on the till-asked for a reciept but was not given one. Looks very disorganised behind the counter. No hello on ordering just a do you want to order well why else would I be waiting at the till or thank you either on being given the takeaway bag. Got my order home to eat -Mozzerala dipper box -dippers were hollow no cheese very disappointing.

Mcdonalds has been getting a lot better through the past few months and has realised what the customer expectations were. The food had a nice warm touch to it, and the service wasn't terrible.

Ordered online for delivery only got half my order and it was cold to the touch , it was definitely not the first time and I won’t be ordering again

Food missed off the order, when I returned to let them know, they weren't very apologetic and then the food we have received is freezing.

the women taking my order was rude and didn't take it correctly multiple times then got arsey when i corrected her. No sources were offered it given and the burger was cold and the chips had been thrown in the bag carelessly.

This is terrible macdonalds keep shutting bc they have a rat infected plot every where me and my buisness freinds go in that car park there is at least 1 rat I wouldn't be surprised if the rats have nibbled the wires for the "electricity"

Worst experience at a McDonald’s I have had the pleasure of visiting. Over half an hour in the drive through, order wrong and then when I went in to complain and get the correct order wouldn’t provide this without the receipt which was in the car and by then I had had enough. Will avoid in the future as customer service is very poor

Why is it that late teatime their is never any chance in getting a milkshake or a Mc flurry the machines are always off , this is every time I go, everything should be available during opening times, this does not happen anywhere else and when you are travelling over 10 miles it’s not acceptable this is the worst place around, and not to mention the drive thought longest time ever never seen anything like it , how come city’s with lots more business can manage in quick time but ours in a little town cannot manage

Used the terminal to order food to be delivered to our table. Food arrived promptly and for once the happy meal contained the book we asked for and not a toy. Every single time I select ‘book’ they send a toy out, so well done on that. Food was nice and the usual mcdonalds standard.

Can't get a simple order right 2 times in a row now......missing items including a £5 burger........shocking service, do not go here they diddle you out of you money.

Went for a take out and when got home it was wrong, how hard can it be to read a facking screen, rang by clowns

Took grandson today, busy as expected, due to the teachers strike, however the wait was over 40 minutes for cold food. Wait extended by delivery drivers being given preference over people who made the effort to eat in or attend to order and collect. These drivers need a collection point of their own. Gave the score of 1 as couldn’t write a review without completing something in that section. As stated food cold and very poor standard. Will never ever buy food from this place again.

It was very busy so it took our order ages to arrive. I ordered at one of the terminals but because there were not many floor staff, we had to wait a while for our food to be brought out to our table. There were a few tables available but again becuase of the lack of staff they were not being cleared and were dirty. When our food arrived they asked if I wanted sauce but I said no as i'd ordered it in the happy meal so it would be in the box. Wrong - there was no sauce. In addition to this i'd selected a book as the gift in the happy meal, but there was a toy instead. I would have gone to the counter to enquire but the queues were huge so just put up with it. The food was barely warm and the big mac wasn't that great either. Rubbish really.

clearly understaffed, drive thru took half an hour- for some reason only had one person on and had order at the window in place during peak hours. got the wrong order in the end but had already been there for 40 minutes so left. Staff were friendly though although clearly overwhelmed- it’s not fair on them or customers

The place was packed out we decided to have our order delivered to our table to save standing in the queue. Our food arrived very quickly and was hot and very good value for money.

Ordered side salad, picture and description clearly state comes with onions. Box half empty and no onions. Took back as still in carpark. Staff and manager rude and arguing do not get onions on side salad. Strange every other Macdonalds put them on. Need some training on both their menu and customer service, including the manager.

I bought £10 worth of food and only got £6 of it in my bag when I got home, I opened my bag and I took a trip to Mac Donald’s ordering a 5 piece chicken select with large fries and a sprite and on-top of that I got myself a chicken legend. I got home opened my bag and came to find there was no chicken legend… shocking

I ordered a large fries and they gave me a large fries. It's not rocket science kids. Hallelujah. The young woman who served me was probably underage but she was a bit of alright and this old dog went home happy.

Ordered a double bacon and egg mcmuffin meal, of course they got it wrong. They sent sausage, I hate their sausage, it tastes spicy, was short on petrol so the breakfast went in the dogs and not for the first time I went without. In the words of The Who, I won't get fooled again!

I came in a few days ago with my partner and my little niece the staff on the floor were absolutely lovely,Tracey and Gaynor.They really went out there way to make sure everything was ok.Its really nice to see staff so welcoming.Well done girls.

To the huffy blonde woman this morning and the rest of the chewy staff with faces like smacked bums. Thanks for a brilliant start to my day.

Seemed fairly well organised with regards to being covid safe with hand sanitiser ect apart from an odd way round to get to the order stations, we were told where to sit, and our food was brought to our table ...no offer of any sauces or salt.Table was clean but the floor was very sticky making it unpleasant to sit for too long.Food was were to the usual Mcdonalds standard and with the eat out to help out deal we couldn't fault the cost.

I came in the McDonalds for a drink but no food. I ordered a hot chocolate at the counter and paid for it. The guy who took my money then proceeded to make my drink and then just placed it on the worktop next to the machine. I had to wait for the next server to process my order a few minutes later to hand it to me. I understand they would do this if I was ordering food, but since I was just having a drink, could the man who made it not just have passed it over? Odd.

It appears that this McDonald’s is probably one of the worst ones I’ve ever visited ( and I’ve been to several dozen all around the country and abroad) Not only are the machines usually broken, or you spend 30 minutes waiting in the drive through, but please fully expect for your order to be wrong.This is yet another visit where they have got my order wrong and I honestly think the whole place is an absolute joke. The staff are rude and 100% do not want to be there. Heaven forbid you ask for sauce because you will get dirty looks.This is a prime example of how they can’t even serve a burger warm with the correct toppings.I asked for extra pickles. No pickles in sight, and it was stone cold.

The chips were some of the best ones I have ever tried. I think the only improvement they need to make is to change the horrible cardboard straws we had to take our own.

I ordered a deli sandwich meal, they gave me some chicken burger with awful white gunk all over it, I now know they stopped doing the sandwich meal, why didn't they tell me. They do a wrap which is similar, but they couldn't be bothered. with telling me. A week ago I ordered a double bacon and egg mcmuffin, they gave me a disgusting sausage meal, it was horrible, the week before that I ordered 6 hash brown they sent me 5, never again. The chicken meal went in the bin along with the sausage thing they gave me, just a waste of money.

Firstly let me say that this branch is a modern stand alone unit on the outskirts of town close by large size shopping units including Morrison’s & B & Q. There is ample parking and good separation between the parking bays and the drive through. It was quite busy both inside and at the drive through. I ordered at the bays and took a number for table service and my order was quite quick to be delivered. The food was standard McDonalds which you either love or hate but it served a purpose for me and met my needs.A quick wash in the washroom which was quite tidy and off ?I went.

A clean and tidy McDonalds. Food is the usual McDonalds standard. However, the staff are refreshingly friendly and approachable- well done. Shame that they do not do a decaf coffee range. There are a large number of decaf tea and coffee drinkers in the community you need to catch up on this

i have never had any problems with mcdonald’s until now, i am appalled to say that me and 4 friends had caspian for tea and we went to mcdonald’s for a mcflurry for dessert and we ordered eat in as it was a very cold winters night but one of the staff told us to get out even though we ordered for eat in all the other customers were inside while me and my friends were outside we hadn’t done out bad or loud and one of us could’ve gothypophermia very disappointed never going in again.

Just home after finishing off a visit to the cinema with a meal each here. Chose to use the drive thru as there was the usual ‘boy racer’ crew messing about in the car park and inside. I have NEVER heard or been served by anyone with less enthusiasm for the job than this guy. No please or thank you or can I help you. I would have said services by a robot but some of these robots have nice voices. Never been to this establishment without some problem, normally cold food and incorrect orders. Which is annoying if you are taking food out to eat elsewhere. Dreadful.

I came here for an early lunch with a friend. We both ordered at the self service computers albeit separately. I placed my order first. Neither of us were ordering anything out of the ordinary. We made our way to the collection point and waited for food. You can see where your order number is in the queue on the screen. I saw my hot chocolate being made and it was placed on the work top so I thought my food wouldn’t be long. Nope. My friends food arrived first so she took it and went to sit down. My order number disappeared off the screen completely and I thought I’d been forgotten about. A little while later they called my number and apologised for the wait. I’m not entirely sure what the hold up had been. Luckily my hot chocolate was still hot. My friend had eaten most of her food by the time mine arrived. The food was your normal McDonald’s fayre but I really enjoyed my hot chocolate so that made up for the wait.

On way home needed a fast drink and called in at Macs. The same as every other one and the offering the same. Neat clean tidy - great staff and we were all served quickly by a very well mannered yng member of staff. Everything as expected from a Mac!

We ordered burger and fries each to takeaway, one had medium fries, the other large. We didn’t realise till we had left the restaurant and opened the bag, that their portion control is somewhat lacking. There large sleeve of fries was only half full and when we tipped them out there was the same amount as in the medium sleeve. We could not complain as we had taken the meal away and were no longer on the premises. I complained via the internet and they apologised, but this has happened in another restaurant also so they obviously aren’t doing anything about it. I will just order a medium portion next time!
