McDonald's in Blaby

I'm here every week when I'm travelling outside of the county The staff are always helpful and considering the early morning time, quite cheerful. Really starts my day with a coffee and a smile.

It's a McDonald's, nothing new, food lukewarm as usual, they still call it fast food even though you have to wait behind delivery drivers. Why would you order it to be delivered if they can't get it hot from one side of the counter to the other.

Very busy but food ok but could be hotter rather than warm

Very friendly manager was very helpful and polite. I made mistakes with my order. He came and sorted it out. Forgot to take his name but thank you so much

Food is sometimes made correctly, but most of the time they get my order wrong! It's always packed as well, and full of either screaming babies, teenagers acting all hard-core, or a combination of the two! Staff don't really care for the most part, but a few of them are kind - especially the ones who offer activities for the younger ones to do such as colouring! McDonald's has gone downhill over the years, too! What are these prices? You may as well go to an actual restaurant - unless you have fussy kids. Overall, it's a McDonald's at the end of the day. What else can you expect? 3 stars.

Noisy screaming kids food made by teens

You can tell you've had cut backs.1hr waiting for food, no trays cutbacks on staff.which shows.food luke warm .dirty front of house.only really clean when michelle is on duty .staff seen crying .not a good atmosphere.for customers.

Well I don’t know about some of these reviews but we were greeted friendly as we walked in. Service was quick and the food was piping hot. You don’t expect fine dining but this was one of the best McDonalds we have ever had breakfast in. Thanks Sushma and the crew you made our morning and only wish we lived closer.

Was way 2 busy. The staff were hugely overwhelmed and there was no manager actually managing the shit-uation and took 20 mins for a cheeseburger chips and chocolate milkshake

Aside from the normal comment that the delivered burgers never look like the advertised one, my main gripe is that it's 2024 and I still can't get a decaff coffee or tea in McDonalds. I can't think of any other chain or restaurant I have been to this year where that has been the case.

Crazy busy!! Place is overwhelmed with drivers picking up app orders. Had a problem with the app and the self services kiosk so had to battle my way through the crowd to get to the counter. Saw drinks just stacked high because they are making the drinks far quicker than the food so when we got out order the milkshakes had pretty much melted. Some of the food was a little cold by the time we got it. Staff were helpful and friendly and apologised for the number of drivers blocking the counter and the delay in getting our order to us. They also helped with another customer who was being very rude and blowing their vape smoke into my 6 year old daughters face purposely. Location is great if you are shopping at Fosse Park but be aware it can get very busy.

I paid 150 pound on half of the menu and my food taste like charcoal the chips was burnt to a crisp and my burger had 1 slice of cheese when it was a Big Mac refused to give my money back terrible service won’t be going there again

Good space, other things could be better

McDonald’s fosse park Leicester is the best you can get. Really clean environment & all ladies are excellent in customer service and helping around, especially if they see you with little ones. Really good to hang out and have some quick food during your shopping trips. Ideal place to meet up with fam & friends! Really quick take out service!

I used to order regularly, but the service has been slipping for a while but actually awful the last few months, missing items, wrong items, or just plain bad food. I find half of the time the fries are soggy and only half fill the sleeve, the way the food is presented itself is a joke, i had a Big Mac that was constructed by what i can only assume was a toddler (top bun upside down, burger burger bread bread, and upside down in the box for extra points, and last week was the final straw, i received a Philly cheese stack burger with no burger inside (see picture).....just cheese and onions, come on Mcdonalds, its a burger how hard can it be, i feel as though nothing is checked or vetted, just chucked into a bag and sent, i wouldnt mind if it were cheap but its not, that particular order for three large meals was £30+, you get better quality food at the chipshop for cheaper. Ive used Mcdonalds for 20years+ but not anymore, proud to say il not be using any mcdonalds again.

The place was very busy but the BigMac was cold and chips had no salt on. Not quite what the adverts are currently promoting - hotter food, more seasoning. Disappointing

I go Regularly and never really have problems but the my experience today was awful. I’m utterly disgusted by the amount of flys in a food restaurant. There was absolutely loads of flys around the restaurant, they were landing on my food and also in my sauce as you can see by the pictures I took.

Missing items staff to busy gossiping to each other

A very busy place, with very variable food standards. On a good day, food is great, hot, well prepared and tasty. On a bad day, which tends to be more often than not, food arrives lukewarm if you're lucky, especially the fries, which then taste of nothing & have the texture of cardboard. Far too much time and emphasis is given to drive through and food delivery orders. Floor staff are this place's saving grace, they are lovely. Go up to the counter & you will be met with surly faces & attitudes ranging from total disinterest to downright rude, hierarchy included. Having worked in both hospitality & customer service myself, attitudes like this appall me - please remember who is providing the means by which you are paid. Experience at other outlets of this chain have been far superior, which this flagship store could learn from. Recommend - breakfast, sausage & egg mcmuffin (don't forget to customise to remove the liquid vegetable & dairy fat blend 'butter') 🤢 Lunch/dinner - sweet chilli wrap, quarter pounder with cheese, chicken salad Question - why is flat white included in breakfast meal, but costs extra 40p with main menu meal?

Promised Granchildren a Macdonalds to arrive home with a Happy meal and No Burger! No Happy in their meals. They offered to bring it back and replace it .I sarcastically asked what a 4 mile round trip. Enthusiastically they replied yes. They offered a code, I asked for my money back, only if I could bring it back. I said I was due back in the area in 2 weeks. So in keeping with their customer service I will keep the bun and cheese slices and return in two weeks. Let's see how Happy they will be with the returned meal!

Ordered from mcdelivery the Uber driver was polite and punctual but very disappointed with the food this time as it was cold and the fries were soggy and undercooked also they didn’t send the share box garlic sticks £6.29 but sent the sauces, so some one was short of dinner that night. And I must say it’s not the first time this has happened.

So so many times no milkshake or ice cream

Perfect after a busy day on the way home. Always sorts me out. Didn't pay a penny as used my points!!

Before the review McDonalds needs to bring back the smoky bbq sauce for chicken selects ! Please be aware this is a rating based on it being a McDonalds and not to compare to other establishments. Staff were friendly despite it being busy please was also very clean for a McDonalds tables clean and wiped down.

I never visited MacDonalds in Leicester and resent being told that I went into MacDonalds anywhere. I haven’t been in a MacDonalds for over 30 years and that was only in desperation in Beijing. I am only filling in the stars and other bits so my comment is posted.

Ordered on the app and was delivered straight to our table in less than 10mins

On ordering we were told it was cash only due to the card machines not work. Ask if this included the order screen and was told yes. On the way out notice other customers paying by card at these machine. Ask a manager and was told no issue at self service screen. Why do staff not know what is happening.

I'm no fan of mcdonalds but my son and wife are . Situated on one of the worst retail parks I've ever been to , parking g is an absolute nightmare. The mcdonalds was massive but it was so busy , full of rude city people - yes I'm from the countryside and this place was horrible .

My bloodclart spoon wasn’t in the packaging and my damn chocolate milkshake was no where to seen like my father figure and I waited outside my window hanging like a bad b while the delivery is chatting in my mother tongue with eye contact overall I shall never return I rate this experience 2 .25 out of 10 and if you remove review I will show out of the blue at your doorstep with Ronald McDonald head on a stick bruv ! Continuously getting the wrong order given to me in the drive through with poor customer service

Considering the size and how busy this branch was, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly we received our order, how clean the place was and how efficient the staff were

Constant, very irritating high pitched alarm sounds coming from the food preparation area which the staff don’t seem to even notice let alone turn off ! Feedback is ignored.

I rarely go to any McDonald's but after my last visit I don't think I'll bother going again at all. Ordered from the saver menu, the burgers looked nothing like the food in the pictures. They were put together without any care or attention, squashed in the bag. Inside barely any ingredients, just traces of them. They tasted like cardboard too. The only item that was decent was the fries. I know McDonald's isn't fine dining, it's just a fast food place but still at least make decent enough food. Really disappointed with the overall quality.

Can’t remember the last time fosse park maccies got my order right. And it’s probably the worst branch for quality of maccies grub I’ve ever been to.

Service was slow table dirty and food cold

Only had a drink and snack today. However service was very slow with lots of people waiting. Fries had to be cooked which fine at least I know they are fresh but I think my hot drink must have been sat on the side the whole time as it consequently got cold quickly. Chips were good though 😁

every single time they forget something or mix something. literally last 3 times I went there it was like this - they gave no sauces for chicken selects and cheese bites, then second time they gave sauces but instead of 9 chicken selects, I got 9 nuggets (so they've stolen 5 gbp from me), then today again I got the right order, just no sauces... and this happens alll the time in this mc donald and in meridian business park(I stopped going there and started to go to this one, thought maybe here I wont need to check). I dont want to open every box and check if everything is fine.. how hard it can be to make sure you put in the bag cheese bites and add sauces? company makes billions per year and cant pay for 1 hour training, to teach staff to put sauces right.. Imagine going to dominos and in front of staff opening pizza to check if they rly added some chicken and till now they never made a single order wrong...

Genuinely when you order through delivery they always get an item wrong!!! Even if it says the right thing on the receipt!

used the app to order food for delivery. when it arrived it was missing two items from the sealed bag ( so packed incorrectly at the restaurant). the restaurant at fosse park did not want to know. they said contact uber eats. uber eats put you on hold and do not answer the phone. so no way to resolve the missing items. shocking service.

Honest review the food is great and the staff are friendly, but on numerous occasions an item or two is missing from the order. So then have to go up to the counter ask for it whilst food is going cold.

Absolutely horrible. Our meal was terrible. The staff were stood around talking.

We stopped by to use the toilets and were pleasantly surprised by how clean they were.

I wasn't expecting 5⭐️ dining, but after using a stupid screen to order on. It say got to collect your order. So we waited, and more customers came numbers were called an people left. After some time wondering if the lonely bag abandoned at the back maybe ours while the lazy oaf stood there gormless I asked about it's destination. It seems that was indeed our bag, but she was unable to notice the customer and bag connection. After I thanked her for the disappointing wait, which was greeted with a shrug and left. We opened the said bag to find 1 of 2 items was not what ordered and cold. On returning, there were 2 oafs on counter they were both miserable and still not appologetic after my complaint I was given 2 shrugs. Worst experience this year! I will stay hungry next time

Waited over 10 minutes for two single burgers. Requested burger with no mayonnaise, received a burger with mayonnaise. Having waited so long I gave up and chucked it in the bin.

For reasons best known to themselves, the management of this store think that their customers are unable to eat their breakfasts without the benefit of overly loud, screechy Ballard music. They also seem to think that customers enjoy listening to staff shouting orders at each other, that can be heard at the far end of the store. Feedback is ignored.

This was the very worst experience in drive thru. The manager was so rude that she was not even listening to me. She was treating me like a some beggar or something. was very busy,had to pull up at the 4th window for 5 minutes just to get 2 large fries,20 nugs,quarter pounder with cheese and a coke.Chips were freezing and not even half full. Burger was disgusting,raw,freezing cold.I took one bite and spat it all out,it wasnt medium rare or anything.it was raw.very disappointing.

Do not order your food from this McDonalds if you want it to be given to a delivery driver in a timely manner and want it to get to you in a decent state. Messed up our order with all three burgers, the fries were very obviously microwaved (rubbery in texture), missing a drink, and 3 nuggets short in the share-box. If you want a delivery that has a chance of arriving in an edible state, order from Meridian McDonald's, as they're also much friendlier when you go in to fix an order.

The service is very bad because i made an order and they got it completely wrong and they didn't sort it out, they need experienced staff i was in there for half an hour i came back without any food
