McDonald's in Conwy

On the 7th November, 2023, at approximately 14:00, a McDonald's employee was rather rude to me at the drive through. When asked if i wanted any sauce, i requested three different kinds because i ordered three meals. When handing me my bag of food, i asked "have you got the sauce please?" She replied "its in the bag" and turned around with her back to me. I realised that she had put 6 pots of sauce, napkins, and the receipt in the same bag as the food, which was already full. I said "you've put the sauces in the bag, so now the food is dirty because of the potential germs on the sauces, and the receipt that you've touched with your hands". She replied bluntly "you should have said you wanted the sauces separately". I replied "i should not have to request my sauces, straws, receipts and napkins in a separate bag. Its basic food safety standards and nothing should be touching the food in the bag". The employee replied "its not touching the fries", which, it clearly was touching all food. I reassured her that ill take the food anyway because i did not have the time to wait and did not want to create extra work for the other staff. However, this service was incredibly poor and i think all staff should be taught about food safety standards and hand hygiene.

Problem with take away order at lunch, tried phoning them once I realised it no answer from phone, so check your order at the restaurant before leaving

I’m had a terrible experience at McDonald’s drive-thru on Wednesday, September 27th. It’s disappointing when a service doesn’t meet our expectations, especially when the staff is rude and unhelpful. Customer service is an essential part of any business, and it’s important to treat customers with respect and professionalism. I encountered a female staff member who was not helpful and kept insisting that I had ordered a flat white when I had ordered something else. It’s unfortunate that she changed her tone with me, kept insisting that I had ordered a flat white and refused to serve me my order and blamed me for being rude when I genuinely wasn’t. I eventually received my order after refusing the refund and having to insist on speaking to a manager. A nice young man eventually served me what I ordered. It’s possible that the female staff member was having a bad morning, but it’s still not an excuse for treating customers poorly. Regardless of the circumstances, it’s essential to maintain professionalism and respect when dealing with customers. I left Mc Donalds that morning feeling upset with the way I had been treated.

Called into the drive through this morning about 11:10 , the chap that took my order must be the worst I’ve ever seen. No please or thank you, just a grunt. How in Gods name can anyone give this person a job dealing with the public? And to add insult to injury the food was almost cold, and this is only 10 minutes after they started serving burgers etc. were they there since last night? Never again.

Payed a visit to llandudno junction mcdonalds after watching a movie in the cinema,I ordered a Big mac,large fries and a large coke and as im waiting i see a young man prepping my food and my goodness his technique is immaculate the beauty of his movements with his hands and the presentation of the burger was absolutely incredible i couldn’t even stop looking at it i was absolutely amazed,and the taste and texture of the burger was impeccable,so i decided to ask this young man for his name and his name was cynan hughes or he said “quanan”,Next time anyone goes to llandudno junction mcdonalds i highly recommended asking for this young man to cook your food he is absolutely fantastic.absolute 11/10

Not a fan of fast food but on this occasion decided to have a snack. Dithering slow service at a quiet period made worse because I wanted to pay by cash. Cold fries as two rows were lined up for ages and not quick enough turnover of food due to quiet. Reminded me why I don't go.

I was in your establishment with my kids and a employee started harassing me and my family cause my youngest which is 4 dropped her happy meal and her orange juice and I asked a employee which name is Sam Moore would he mind cleaning it up and he just shoved me and he said f**k off and called my little girl ugly and i would like him to have a serious punishment if it be firing or anything else but someone who treats people like that should not work at this establishment

Usually good here, but today was absolutely dreadful. Firstly asked to wait 5 minutes for 2 hot apple pies, decided not to and asked for a replacement, got ONE donut, got the other one when I pointed out the mistake. Got my order, 2 fries missing. Got home 3 minutes later, everything was COLD. WORST IVE EVER HAD.

Food ok but my burger was barely on my bun! Floor and tables disgusting, bins overflowing, no sauces, straws or serviettes available for self service, Manager should be ashamed!!!

Well my wife and I called in on our way to Anglesey. The standard of the food was okay, not much different than other McDonald restaurants. What I was more impressed with was the fact that there was a concerted effort to keep the seating area clean - staff were wiping the walls and cleaning tables during our visit, something you do not always see. Even the toilets were clean, which is not always the case in some McDonalds restaurants.

Coffee cold and had to be thrown burgers like shoe leather chips like worn out shoe laces. mcdonalds used to be tasty and hot with good coffee now gone to the dogs

Stopped for a quick snack easy access from A55. Not nice to see Rats under the bins and drive through area !! Needs action ASAP not exactly what you want to see where you are going to buy food !!!

Ordered through zoom foods so paid at least an extra £8-£10 than normal. Paid for everything large just to be sent medium everything. Extremely unhappy. Also Pof extra for original large coke to be sent medium Diet Cokes. Needs sorting.

This place is normally very good, but we got caught out with a surprise early closure. We had been buying something for someone else about 10:30pm and we wanted to know if we would have to buy our food then or if we could come back to buy it in 15 minutes time when were due to be passing by again. A nice member of staff informed us they were closing at 11pm, so we held off buying our food, but when we arrived back at 10:45pm some cones were already blocking off the drive thru. There were still a few cars who had made it in time being served their orders, they were all completed by 10:50pm, which meant there would have been 10 minutes free to serve any remaining customers.From our point of view, two things:-1. Please don't say you are closing at 11pm if no more cars are allowed through after 10:45pm. It leaves customers feeling upset, especially as we could have easily planned things differently if we had known.2. Now we never will feel confident that a McDonalds really will close at the time it says it does. McDonalds is the kind of business where one would expect the opening hours to be set in stone.

Just been through drive-through, ordered an employee breakfast meal. asked for a breakfast wrap meal with no meat, received with just cheese and hash brown in a wrap with nothing else. My friend ordered a double sausage muffin and had a single one. The staff was really rude and had attitude. Won't be coming here again ☺️

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff there tonight (24/01/2020). I know people are often quick to complain, but sadly not to praise. Anyway, earlier tonight I dropped my milkshake and an employee who had actually clocked off came straight over to help me clean the mess up. She got another member of staff to help too, and got someone to get me a new milkshake, even though it was completely my fault and I still had half my milkshake left. Sadly I didn't get her name, but she was a young woman who had just clocked off about 10:30pm tonight (24/01/2020). The rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly too. It was especially appreciated as I was really tired and driving back to Wrecsam after working in Biwmares. I couldn't see a specific website or social media page for this branch, but I really hope this review gets back to the managers of the restaurant, so they can thank the staff on my behalf and so they know they have a lovely set of staff there! Dropped my daughter at college and thought I'd get a McDonalds rib sticking breakfast on the quiet. All good, nice hot food, service with a smile. Tip - if you're gonna complain about having your mopped floor walked on (I can't levitate sorry), then please do it out the back, out of the way of customers. It was really cringe to hear you complaining to other staff- "I'm not doing it again!" etc. Other than that, it was good!

For McDonald’s what can I say! The girls and guys that serve us the food is never cold and they stack the burgers very well we have all been their when we open our burger and it doesn’t look anything like the ad. However Llandudno junction never fail.

Called in for a coffee with the family but had to leave after just a couple of minutes as the place was so cold.

This McDonalds deserves praise for the staff speed of service, friendliness and freshly prepared food. When they say "have a good day', they actually mean it.

Excellent and friendly and staff seemed to cope well with how busy the store was at the time of our visit. The service was quick and the food was hot and perfect.

The car park is tiny, the service is incredibly slow. The place never feels clean. Best advice is to go through the drive through but it probably won't be quick.

Absolutely shocking service. I arrived at Macdonalds drivethru Llandudno junction at approx 6.30am today. I sat at the service screen waiting for a response to receive my order. Nobody was in front of me but vehicles were backing up behind me. After nearly ten minutes I drove around to the first window were a member of staff in a white shirt was stood speaking to one of his colleagues, getting no response I drove to the last window were a member of staff was pottering around I had to knock on the window for a response from this member of staff who came over to say were not open! Absolutely appalling that no sign was put up and I had to go out of my way for this response in the meantime the vehicle behind me were still sat at the service screen awaiting service. I asked why were they not open and his response was somebody forgot some keys so we wont be opening for about another hour. I had to carry on my journey to work with no breakfast but worst of all was the fact so many potential customers were left to sit in our cars uninformed like lemons whilst staff were stood inside ignorant to the rest of the world

Hubby and me went here for our tea on Tuesday (after visiting The Cinema). Parking is easy and free (as long as you park correctly). The staff were efficient and friendly. Hubby ordered a bacon double cheese burger, large fries, large tea. I ordered a fiery buffalo grilled chicken wrap, large fries, large tea. The total bill came to £9.86 which we were able to pay by card (contactless). The meals were soon prepared. We ate inside as it was clean and tidy. We both enjoyed our food and thought it was very good value for the money.

Food was average until I noticed a parking ticket on my car for £100. This was because I was parked over the white lines.

terrible experience. ordered grand big mac meals started to eat my burger and came across blue plastic in the sauce/lettuce. approached the counter and informed the manager, she was very rude and abrupt. she gave the excuse it was packaging the buns came in, but this wasn't a valid reason for it being in my burger.she asked "what do you want me to do about it?" it can happen anywhere. disgusting service!!|!| certainly won't be going back

So after placing an order in the drive through to take back home to people waiting we got asked to wait, it wasn’t that busy inside and only a couple cars in front of us and at midday you’d think they’d have plenty of staff!

No qualms a very efficient Mcdonalds due to the intoduction of manual ordering and table service. We stopped for breakfast en route to Chester. Food was lovely and cheap. Simple but effective. Baby highchairs are also very good unlike some other franchises.

Usual menu choice, quickly served, indoors or usually as drive through for breakfast. Great start for the day. Often just pop in for a coffee - great blend, matches specialist chain coffee shops.

Staff were entertaining the smaller children with balloons, colouring and much more, there was fast service and we all enjoyed our lunch there today.

Partner's mum had a coffee which tasted funny so we returned it and asked them if they could exchange it. When McDonald's worker came to table to give partner's mum a fresh coffee... my partner's mum had to pull a piece of burger from her mouth which had a big hair attached to it. The McDonald's worker witnessed this and said she would make sure the kitchen staff were wearing hairnets and said it shouldn't have happened and asked if she wanted anything else which of course was declined! We waited for her to return with an apology and at least an offer to refund the burger. This didn't happen so my partner's sister had to approach the staff member herself. To which she was told we could either have something else or her name could go in a book to receive a freebie next time!!!! Absolutely disgusted !!!!

We visited for a quick breakfast before heading to Blue Planet further down the A55. Food was as always quickly served with a smile. Plenty of dining space aswell.

Been here a few times as treats for the family. The lady who cleans the tables is allways busy and allways finds time to acknowledge you, she comes across with balloons to keep the children happy. Food is allways tasty and fresh. Very clean and allways a pleasure to return.

Lunchtime snack was needed popped in, the racks of already cooked food should have been warning enough. It was only 12.15pm, perhaps the expected rush had not happened..When we unwrapped the burgers they were nothing more than warm, but the chips were awful.In many other restaurants fresh fries have always been offered with no fuss at all. Not in this case, they were replaced and just as bad,obviously from the same batch as the first. Ate the burger and returned uneaten fries to the counter.

Just arrived home after taking my 6 year old granddaughter and 4 friends to the pictures followed by McDonald's for her birthday, just had to make comment on how accommodating the staff were, obviously the food is what you would expect but couldn't help but be impressed by the service, the place was heaving but we were served quickly and the food was hot, a lovely member of staff called Kerry brought a table size colouring sheet and crayons plus some puzzle sheets to keep everyone occupied, we had taken our own cake and were supplied with boxes to carry the sliced cake home, and my granddaughter was given a little gift so all in all a very pleasant visit thank you.

This is our local McDonald's, and as a occasional treat we have frequented this fast food restaurant on several occasions. Food is, as you would expect, pretty standard amongst most McDonald's.... what makes this restaurant stand out, and particularly on a Friday eve, is how filthy it is! Without a doubt, what you will find when visiting at this time is tables littered with rubbish, not cleaned or cleaned, dirty chairs, disgusting floors and unchecked unhygienic toilets. At any point in the day, week - the level of uncleanliness inside this diner is quite simply unacceptable. At perhaps an exceptionally busy time of the day, I suggest McDonald's hires staff with a dedicated role to present and clean this restaurant to a standard that is acceptable to those who choose to eat inside. For those who expect a certain level of cleanliness, I advise you to go through the drive they, or go to the McDonalds nearer the town centre, as this is far cleaner!

The introduction of table service into the Mcdonalds franchise was seen by some including myself as a no go as surely fast food was just that....fast food and table service would damage that motto.It doesn't...It's easier to get a table as you can order via the huge touch screen tablets and then simply find a table and wait for your food. Seeing a waitress delover the food was somewhat strange though.Food was as always rubbery and caloire ridden nutrionally inept, but hey ho my little one loves it.

The staff in the llandudno junction McDonald's I find are rude towards myself and my friends. We each order a minimum of food/drink costing £2 at the very least only for the McDonald's workers to come over just after we've finished and tell us that we have to leave because we are taking up table space although there will have been an older couple been in there just as long or even longer than my friends and I have been in there. Tonight we were in kfc just across the road and were about to walk home until we wanted to get some food to walk home with so we went to our usual McDonald's as we find it to be cheaper and more to our taste than kfc so myself went to order and got told that I wasn't being served by a certain male worker because apparently we were jumping on the tables. Bearing in mind that we are 16 year old girls who do have respect in what we do and where we go. I said to the worker that we hadn't been jumping around on the tables and he said the group that I'm with have been jumping on the tables, however I think that if someone checks the CCTV cameras they will find that a large group of 13 year olds have been jumping on the tables and that my friends and myself had nothing to do with out, I found this offensive and purely ageist.

Came here with family for a quick meal after a cinema visit. You now have to order on a touch screen in the middle of the floor. System is a bit cumbersome when you have fussy eaters that don't want salads on their burgers etc. Food came promptly as McDonald's now do table service which seems very odd in a fast food establishment, the receipts have a number on them so a confused member of staff can wonder around the tables trying to work out who it goes to. Haven't been to McDonald's in ages and felt the prices were high considering what we had, four regular meals came to £25. The actual restaurant was very clean and tidy as most McDonald's are. What little interaction with staff I had was pleasant enough.

The place is clean and tidy, staff behind the counter was excellent. But the branch manager was having a discussion with two of his colleagues in front of the customers and blocking the collection point. Which the staff were strugging giving the food over the counters to me. There an office to do that sort of thing.Also when tucking into the food it was cold.Will not be stopping at this place again. Instead I will be going to kfc oppsite in furture.

The food was good, nice and warm - the fries surprisingly very nice, service was standard, but couldn't help feel put off by the member of staff walking around with his sweaty bellybutton on display - I just hope he wasn't dealing with any food

Always use this Mcdonalds as it is close to where I live. Food and service always great although sometimes you may have to wait a while at the drive thru if they are really busy.

Always enjoy mc d s coffee it was nice to sit outside to enjoy under a parasol on a hot day for a change at this small McDonalds just on the outskirts of the town centre

Enjoyed a visit here recently, the food was hot and tasty and the fries weren't too salty. The restaurant and toilets were clean and the staff were friendly. However there were many items unavailable, especially cold drinks, such as the frozen strawberry lemonade and some of the electronic ordering stations didn't work.

went to McDonalds during the week and was delighted by how helpful and polite the young staff member called Iestyn who gave me extra toppings on my mcflurry, cant complain!

Every time I go to this McDonald's I come away wishing I hadn't bothered. Ordered from the drive thru and was directed to wait in the car park. I asked if any of the order was ready (it was) and how long we would have to wait for the rest. About 15 minutes later we received our whole order and half of it was cold (the aforementioned ready food). The staff here need to be trained in customer service and realise that if they are making people wait for their food they should prepare it all at the same time so that the whole order is hot at the time of service not made in drive and drabs waiting in a bag on the counter. Another example of this is when you are given a mcflurry but made to wait 15 minutes for your meal - by the time the meal is ready your ice cream has melted..! Don't normally have this problem at other Mcdonalds; I think it just be this particular franchise.

Decided to have a breakfast. Small buns with poor filling. Also ordered extra coffee. Was left on the side and no one passed it over the counter until i mentioned where my coffee had gone.

Usual menu served by happy people in a very clean establishment. Service was quick and efficient and we used it for a quick breakfast.

Waiting for about 10min in the order window before being told to sit down and then eventually told me to take a seat and then after 5 min I got my meal but we waited another 5 for the pancakes to arrive 20 min for a pancake what a joke and it want even busy there !!!!!!!!!!!

Having visited this McDonalds on our journey home, I would suggest give this one a missWe ordered 3 take away meals the meal arrived on a tray I explain to the guy serving us that this was a take away (I suggest they should take more time to read the orders instead of having a conversation about the night before) he did no more than use his hands with no thought of food falling on the tray, I said to him that there was food on the tray his reply was there's not much I would have thought he would have put the burgers that were boxed in to the bag and then got fresh fries and placed them in the bag not scrap the fries off the tray I suggest this place gets a hygiene inspection ASAP as if that what they do in front of you it makes you wonder what's it like where we can't see

Went there over the weekend with the kids, what a shock! There were computer screens upon entrance to place your order, it looked a little too confusing and seemed to only take card payments, so opted to queue up the old way in the 1 aisle available. Once I'd got my order, I then had to wait on one side for the order, I could see if my order was ready to be collected via a screen with my ticket no, this reminded me of the system used at argos. Anyway, the order was fine, the usual consistent standard basically from this place. There are now computers for the kids to play with as well - kept them quiet. However, the only negative is that the tables were quite dirty/ messy, had to give them a quick wipe down prior to eating our meal and hope the computers accept cash as payment like the supermarkets do (if they do - it didn't seem obvious)

Recently this McD's was refurbished and converted to a new system where you order at one point (or via a terminal) and then collect your food from another point.This seems a good idea but it actually means that you end up waiting longer for the food which rather defeats the idea of fast food.

Just finished dofe in Wales, hungry, tired and weary all I wanted was a nice meal. Stumbled into maccers got amazing customer service with my massive bag. They brought out my food, gave me a student discount and were very polite. Best McDonald's I've ever been to

Well yet another Coffee and BigMac, well i think i will turn into a Bigmac soon, this MCDS is always busy due to it's busy location, however this does not fase the staff at all. they get on a do the job, expertly.

Always come to this Mcdonalds as do not live far away. Food always very good and staff are friendly, the only thing is when I ask for a plain double cheeseburger I expect it plain but sometimes I get it with the sauce on and I do not enjoy it. I do not bother taking it back to complain as I never notice until I open the bag at home.

Is it me but fir the last 12 months you never get your food straightaway at this Mcdonalds? No matter what you orsder big mac go to the grill bay mc chicken sandwich go to the grill bay veru slow here!!!! Fastfood not! Also large fries not so large half are always missing.

Only had a mc flurry,but as petty as it sounds I get annoyed that they no longer whip the mc flurry, just put the topping on the ice cream.Service was slow considering not busy, and lots of staff.Everyone seemed more interested in the drive thru customers

Called at the Llandudno Junction drive-in tonight for a quick meal on my way home, I ordered a 5 piece chicken select, fries and drink, as I only live 10 minutes away I drove home to eat them. When home, I realised that I'd been given a 3 piece chicken select instead of the 5 - this is the second time this has happened. Why can't the staff ensure that the customer has the correct order before chucking it into a bag. Will give here a miss in future.
